Lovely pub with a real wood stove- this is a “free house”, meaning it’s not owned by a brewery. The two women behind the bar were great- friendly top of things. As a woman alone, I wasn’t uncomfortable; people were friendly and there was a dog as big as a pony to pet- all pubs should come with such a dog. I was told the fois is good, but we ate next door at the Vietnamese place- which was excellent.

Our local when we lived in Islington. Absolutely fantastic team, lovely warm setting with the fireplace going, and great craft brew including standard ale, IPAs, Belgians, sours, and even some quirky varieties. Quality food including Sunday roasts. Quite dog-friendly, and a decent place for conversation. Cannot wait for lockdown to ease so we can come here for food and drink and spirit.

This is local to me and popped in for a drink tonight. Great range of beer and spirits from the look of the shelves. A nice fire was going and the place has a good feel to it. Thank goodness no screens and loud music. The place to go for a good pint and catch up with friends. Now what would top it would give they decided to do vegan ribs and snacks. It would make a welcome change from all the meat heavy pubs around here.

A smart new pub with lots of craft beer (more than ten choices), a real fire, and table football. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was a nice and friendly place for a drink. No screens, but just people enjoying their drinks and a good chat. It's dog friendly too!

Fantastic space, brilliant staff, great selection of drinks. The food (kitchen run by Beefinity and Viande) is INCREDIBLE & the pub owner is clearly passionate about the ever changing selection of beers/ales etc. An absolute must visit for anyone in to beer. There is a nice little garden out the back, a football table, & a selection of brilliant board games. This venue is also LGBTQ+ friendly, & offers free sanitary products in the bathrooms, which is a brilliant touch. I can't recommend this place enough.

Visited Floxglove maybe 3 weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised with the quaintness and local vibe for a big city like London. I live 5 mins from the Foxglove and is the quintessential after work pit stop for me. Jack the bartender is super cool and easy to talk to. He’ll cheer you up with his New Zealand humor and knowledge of a great cocktail or cask ale or local brews on tap! Highly recommend if you like to get away from the loud football fueled crowd that England gives off.

Everything about the Foxglove is amazing. Incredible, ever-changing beer selection, knock-your-socks-off delicious Asian street food (courtesy of Beefinity & Viande), and a welcoming, easygoing vibe. Extremely friendly (and dog-friendly!) Plus, a beautiful, partially-sheltered beer garden. We recently had my birthday party here, and the whole team was so great. Long live the Foxglove!

Lovely boozer this one: it’s behind Islington’s (often too) busy Upper Street, it’s comfy and welcoming thanks to the friendly and helpful bar staff and they’ve a cracking beer selection: please go for the Oktoberfest Lager, especially if you’re sick and tired of being served the usual selection of Amstel, Artois and Co., served also in Bavarian style 2-pinter glass Steins! 🤘 Good grub too: can recommend the chicken legs in Sriracha mayo. If you want a pub in Islington, you want to come to the Foxglove. Excellent food, beers, wines and spirits. Best thing is the atmosphere. The regulars are extremely attractive. They allow dogs and if you’re lucky you might meet Spooky. The outdoors areas (front and back) are great winter or summer too.

Love this cosy dog friendly pub, has a fantastic range of beers, wines and cocktails, lovely food options and honestly, it feels like a home away from home. Everyone who works there is always so lovely and welcoming. It has lovely regulars (and their dogs) and hosts great socials. Definitely highly recommended!
