Amazing Sunday Roast, very nicely cooked chicken and beef. Will try the lamb next time. Decent size plate and most of all didn't over do it with so much vegetables, potatoes and mash. Lastly you also get a free starter or dessert.

I regularly ordered food during lock down via just eat. Amazing selection and never let me down. I recently went to the pub and again was not disappointed. Absolutely love this pub - not sure where the below folks have been to. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, it is clean and spacious, the bar itself is beautiful and well stocked with a nice variety of gins! The food is great and so much to choose from. Highly recommend!

Excellent food! I got to know you through Deliveroo, but now I’m certainly going in person as soon as lockdown is over. One thing: your steaks are not configured in Deliveroo to allow customisation, so I wasn’t able to choose the cooking or sides. Can someone please fix that? :)

Organised a last minute surprise 50th birthday, where we hired out the whole pub. Karen was really accommodating. All the guests commented on how nice the food was (we chose the fork buffet option) there really was plenty of it. We dropped off the decorations and the pub staff put it up for us as beautifully. Staff at this pub were lovely and did as much as they could to accommodate us. 5 star service!!

Amazing local pub with quality food that you'd expect in a restaurant but for half the price. Specifically loved their mediterrean style of cooking a whole chicken(split then grilled). Delish! On previous visits the real ale range was better but what they had on was the current visit was alright. Especially the 61 pale ale. Food table Service was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

It is good to visit a traditional pub that is not in the usual brewery chains. The George offers a great menu at very reasonable prices. The food is freshly prepared which gives you plenty of time to enjoy a drink while your food is cooked. There are lovely garden areas to enjoy in pleasant weather, and always a pleasant welcome.

I went to this pub down the road from my place a couple of times and enjoyed it each time. I remember once ordering some mussels and they were really great. To be honest, there isn't much to choose from in the Church Lane/Kingsbury area so my options were quite limited. The only thing I didn't particularly like is that it was very quiet at times (maybe I went there at the wrong time?).

I discovered this little gem of a pub quite late, after more than 3 years of living in the area. But I'm very glad I did though. I went to The George quite a few times and, apart from one occasion when the kitchen was closed (can't remember why right now), I had a great time. The pub is small but cosy, it even has a bookcase in a corner for those who prefer to have a quiet evening with a good book. Every time I ate there, the food was to die for. Their oysters in white sauce are absolutely delicious. They have quite a large selection of foods available and I recommend you try it if you are in the area.

What a lovely pub. The George feels traditional and attracts a nice crowd. The food is amazing and you can tell the owners put their heart into making everything just right. The George stands out above many of the pubs I have been to. It's clean (toilets included), cosy (lovely fireplace), and nicely decorated. The pub has two TVs and pool table, however none of these overpower the relaxed, homely feel. A glass of red wine with friends or the Mrs by the crackling fire is perfect. I seriously cannot recommend a better pub for miles around (I think the next best would be somewhere in Elstree or Radlett). The George features a beer garden and parking locally is easy. 83 bus from outside will take you to/from Wembley Park tube station in approx 5-10 mins. 5* for The George - a real jewel in the crown for NW London.

We just moved to the area and are so glad this pub is nearby - great food from their Greek chef and great friendly service with a nice selection of drinks. They have loads of outdoor space and a pool table too, everything you want in a local!
