Reviews of The Grange Ealing
G. G.
We had a lovely lunch. We ordered some starters and platter to share and was so delicious. We had some main and also very delicious with good portions. The only thing the Caesar salad comes with bacon and anchovies and doesn't say on the menu. Overall very good experience. My wife loves the passion fruit Martini
H. M.
Great food, but most importantly, an amazing atmosphere. When you're here, you don't feel like you're in a chain pub.
The restaurant has great seating with wonderful views of the park. The staff are friendly and efficient.
The food is on the pricier side, but you absolutely get what you pay for.
R. E.
I loved the atmosphere . . I had roasted cauliflower with all sorts of yummy accompaniments - thoroughly enjoyed!
P. P.
Great place and atmosphere, drinks and food are lovely. Staff are nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend it.
K. O.
The food is absolutely fantastic there! I had the spicy chicken burger and it was great (even for those who don't like spicy). My partner had the lamb burger and is still talking about it today even though we went to the Grange 2 days ago. Lovely stuff and the decor is nice too, warm atmosphere. Prices are slightly more higher than your regular pub food but it's so much better.
A. S.
Food was absolutely amazing. We had the hummus plate, curly fries, mac and cheese to dye for. Recommended.
M. M.
Friendly stuff, prompt service and rosy was good. They had ran out of the vegan option on a Sunday at 2pm but I think they can order more. Took my dog and they were kind with water for him and all gave him a Stroke. Thanks guys.
G. S.
Great food, nice setting, no service. My glass of wine arrived AFTER we asked for our drinks twice, and only AFTER the starters, and main course had been served! Minor off-hand apology ruined an otherwise potentially great Sunday lunch.
M. L.
Recommend! This is a perfect place to meet up with friends, have a meal, just chill out…. Staff are so friendly. Lovely deco and nice details. We had a great time here. Will be back.
A. H.
Very tasty fish and chips 😋 and yummy spicy wings.. I would definitely recommend, nice service too. Thank you

My daughter had her wedding reception in the Summer house last week & I can safely say that we absolutely loved it! The staff were so friendly & accommodating. The food was outstanding & the room is beautiful. Thank you to the staff that made her day special. We will be forever grateful.

Fabulous Sunday lunch. We have been to The Grange a fair few times over the years but I think it's the best it's ever been. Very cute outside space and buildings, socially spaced tables, clean bright atmosphere and great food. My slow cooked rib of beef was outstanding. Can't wait to go back the other side of lockdown. Portions are generous- you have been warned!!
A. T.
Beautiful and spacious. Good choice of drinks and food is well made and delicious. Nice place to come with a group of friends for drinks or with family for a meal. Should book in advance to guarantee a table but walk ins welcome too.
C. L.
This is one of our local pubs. The interior of the pub is stunning, there is ample seating both inside and out. Staff are always friendly and polite. The food is delicious and the menu often gets changed so you never get bored of the food. Would happily recommend as have been going here for years.
S. Y.
Always loved The Grange.
We popped in for a pub dinner early this evening, nabbed a super cosy table next to the fireplace and had THE Best shepherd's pie I've ever had!!
r. s.
Food is very standard, mainly burgers and chips jazzed up. Nicely decorated. Best thing was the friendly staff. As a busy pub was surprised there was no gf options, although i was offered a burger in lettuce......burger prob had wheat in 🤣🤣
A. M.
A really enchanting place in the sunlight. Well decorated and fabulous garden layout. They were able to serve me before 12:30 pm start time for food, but did not enjoy the soup of the day. The bread was fresh. No peanuts behind the bar but a nice place to visit in a group. Every Thursdays about 8pm quiz night.
S. M.
Lovely, welcoming and attentive staff who made our Christmas meal out special despite all the "not quite so normal feeling" because of the pandemic.
I look forward to coming back again soon.

We come to this pub quite often for many years. We love new deco and the food is really good too. The only problem is unqualified staff. They tend to forget to bring the orders and and there is some problem with making coffee. I would also be very happy if the management buy more teaspoons. Twice I received coffee with sugar but without teaspoon. When asked about it waiter has frantically looked everywhere for teaspoon and at the end informed me they haven't got any. I ended up using knife to mix sugar with coffee!
W. y. C.
Lovely space and attentive staff, food is great too. Table service still. Mussels starter was big enough for a main and really nice. Harissa cauliflower was filling too. Dog friendly.
A. K.
Nice pub which does decent food. Visited on a Friday night and was very busy between 5.30 and 8.30 then quietened down a bit. Used app to order food and drink, this was more preferable then queuing at the bar when busy.
C. J.
Had a really excellent meal there last night. Lovely dining area inside overlooking the Common, friendly staff. Good menu selection and good cocktails too. Can't ask for more.
S. G.
Had a shepherds pie today, it was so delicious, definitely recommended. Nice people, great food, had a great time, thank you
S. C.
Carried wedding party from The Grange to Brentham Sports Club for wedding ceremony in single deck red bus.

This is a hidden gem away from the hussle and bussle of the main high street. It's my second visit and decided to introduce it to my friend who was pleased with my recommendation. Food service has always been efficient. We were fortunate enough to have a cosy seat by the fireplace, as it was chilly outside, and we enjoyed a cappuccino and generous portion of Sticky Toffee pudding. For the wine connoisseurs, the staff didn't have the expertise to recommend from the wine list but I was able to request small samples to try before I ordered.
R. B.
Had a very good meal here despite my fears that the England v Denmark semi was on that night. We had a table away from the football, staff all friendly and helpful, food good and particularly enjoyed chocolate orange bread pudding. An inspired creation!
I like the table service and not having to crowd at the bar for drinks. "Social distancing" has created better environments for enjoying the time out with friends and partners. You can hear one another and you spend more time in their company and less time ordering!
B. I.
Nice atmosphere with lovely staff!
Orders came with a bit of delay and we had to follow up on our order! Overall great experience.
D. D.
Excellent pub, well patronised by the locals. Also, dog-friendly for all those Ealing Common dog-walkers who need a pint on their way home. The food is tweaked on the pub standard and is interesting and very tasty. There is also an excellent beer garden.
a. g.
Not too busy, exactly what you want for a relaxing dinner. The food was nice, the service quite slow but probably I will come back for a drink
a. j. s.
I just decide to explore Ealing so after I went to a pub I did found out about The Grange.
As soon as I get there I said to myself I will like this place.
I got inside and the atmosphere was pleasant.
I had a look at the terrace and the people were happy like they were coming there every time and they were feel like at home.
I did order a peroni as well and honestly the price was good for London.
Afterwards I decided to get some food so i did get a burger ..
When the food arrived I was quite disappointed to be honest.
The appearance of the burger was quite awful .
I did really expect much more from the kitchen, altout the taste wasn't bad.
As soon as I finished the food I did leave it on the side and after a while Antony collect it .
I did decide to get one more beer so went to the bar where the queue was long but Antony nicely asked me what could he get for me .
And he delivered the beer to the table .
All over I did really enjoye the Grange and i am sure I will come back .
G. H.
Fun Thursday night out at the Grange pub quiz. Friendly staff. Good menu - plant-based burger gets the thumbs up.
B. H.
Nice pub, nice location, great food and very friendly and efficient staff. It's been a good few years sinse I was last there but I'm sure it has improved sinse my last visit. A few small niggles stop me giving a better star rating, we had a table for 9, they managed to bring all the meals simultaneously but one was cold, they quickly rectified the problem. Vase of dead flowers on the table and a blocked loo showed a lack of attention to detail, having said that, I would go back.
P. B.
Great atmosphere, lovely staff, great food.
Dog friendly.
Lots of parking.
P. E.
Lovely atmosphere created by the decoration in this pub. Food was ok, kids desert ice cream 2 scoops £3, adults in the same size bowl 3 scoops £6...
L. H.
Fab food, quiet, upmarket, priced accordingly. We had the duck and beef sharers. Lovely puds. Says for 2 but enough for 4, they are not kidding. Make sure your leftovers are packed. They have been known to throw stuff away, as many aren't bothered by waste. We say, too good to chuck!
I. J.
The honey beer and the dessert were great, but the rest of the food was OK. The place is nice and cozy, specially by the fireplace. They have easy access with wheelchairs, rolling bags, etc.
M. P. T. (.
Food was delicious, staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly.
The interior/exterior is really beautiful. Definitely will visit again.
A. C.
My local favourite place. The place deserve a visit itself: the the comfortable inner rooms on different levels and the wide windows donate a warm and pleasant light. The secret backyard is absolutely the best you can find around Ealing, if you want a cosy corner where spending hours far from the crowd of the usual beer gardens. I visit regularly this hidden gem and each time I’m amazed by the quality of the service. Everybody is smiling, welcoming and ready to go over the extra mile to satisfy a pedantic and fussy customer like me. If you want to recall what a pub is, give yourself the time to book a table at The Grange. You won’t regret it.
A. P. S.
Nice local with good outdoor seating area. They have outdoor heaters as well which helps.
A. E.
The Sunday Roast meal's are beautiful, it would be great if all meals on an order arrived at the table at the same time
S.
Fantastic pub next to Ealing Common. Amazing Sunday roast. Very popular so definitely make a reservation.
R. B.
A wonderful venue for functions, small parties, get together etc. I hosted a baby shower in the conservatory which was perfect!
The Grange were great from the offset, emailing and checking the list with dietary requirements, number of people etc.
Ebonee was amazing and understanding from the offsetsupporting venue confirmation, accompanying ours needs etc. And Violeta and Danny with the rest of the team were great with their service.
Thank you for allowing us to have such a great time with no restrictions.
J. T.
Best pub I've been to in the uk. Amazing food, very comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.

Been here for a Xmas party! Great place to eat and also drink in the bar!
Starter - Main - Dessert. Highly recommended!
F. P.
Lovely food and lovely Pub! The Lamb Burger was excellent!!! Highly recommend this place

A year ago had a disaster of a Sunday lunch at this pub.
A year later luckily new manager in place, new staff and new kitchen staff. A huge improvement.
Great food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
M. M.
Had the fish and chips and it tasted great, service friendly and food came quickly, no complaints
D. R.
Very welcoming. Nice gas coal fire burning and well laid out assortment of seating.
K. W.
Accommodating staff and pleasant beer. Nice pub to drop into after a Common walk.
P. N.
Excellent.
It is definitely my favourite pub in London!
V. B.
The new menu with its continental med touches is amazing. There must be a new chef & kitchen staff too as the food is in a different class to a couple of years ago. It is a different Grange to pre pandemic with a smartened interior. We live around the corner so we could not be happier with the changes, well done team!
G. B.
The best Sunday roast I ever had in the UK
King's roast. Beef, pork and chicken. £23
C. J. S.
Incredible roast, fantastic bread n butter pudding.. but I wouldn't have the Apple Crumble again, as the crumble was dry / powdery and the Apple was pretty much just Apple sauce and cinnamon.
I. B.
Yet another great time at The Grange
Have recommended this restaurant to so many people.....Great food in a clean bright friendly setting, with exemplary service!
R. N.
Nice neighbourhood pub with a decent sized back garden. Friendly service and good food. The covid restrictions meant we couldn't dine indoors and that's a bit of a pity since the indoors looked very attractive too. Located away from the noisy road at the corner of Ealing Commons.
P. G.
Wonderful place to host any event... dog friendly which makes it even better ... food provided for party was yummy ... staff are very friendly & so helpful ... I highly recommend The Grange Ealing
B. L.
Lovely place! Dog and kids friendly! You can play some board game with your friends or watch the football game or just enjoy the lovely weather in the garden.
Cosy, peaceful. Even you can find some social gathering upstairs sometimes...salsa club, etc.
M.
Food was good for me unfortunately my mum wasnt happy with her order had to be sent back and the second order was Sunday roast beef said wasnt great yorkershire pudding was eggy tasting, i hate sending anything back generally but mama has zero fs cuz she old and a ganster gran,

M. M.
Fantastic pub. Delicious food. Great service and we all felt really safe with regards to COVID. They have got it spot on. Thank you. We will be back soon!!
C. M.
We had a lovely meal there. Everything was great!! Thank you 😊.
L. M.
Thank you Ladies at The Grange for making our Sunday a real pleasure. I appreciate you welcoming my Westie by giving him water, you were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed your hospitality and would highly recommend The Grange to all dog owners.
L. B.
I only moved to Ealing recently and my friends have been going to the Grange for years , so i decided to give it a go. Covid 19 measures strongly in place ,which is great, but when the server was nowhere to be seen and we wanted to order drinks one of us went is and was scolded for even stepping a foot inside! If the service was more swift we wouldn't need to go and ask for more drinks ! The garden was lovely , very pleasant and comfortable, and since it was so hot on the day it was nice to sit in a shade. I had the Fish finger sandwich and I couldn't fault it , my friends tried the Chicken wings which they loved. All in all it was all scrummy. Will definitely be going again .
S. B.
Beautiful outdoor setting. Yummy wine and big portions of food and attentive staff . Will be back!!;
A. K.
A real treasure of a pub in Ealing, good selection of beers and top quality food complimented by the friendliest staff. If you live in or near Ealing and you haven't visited The Grange yet, you're missing out!
A. T.
We had an amazing experience on 31st of May (Monday)! The food and wine was fabulous - what a great night at our local gastropub. Many thanks to our waiter Jack, who has been brilliant. We will be back.
L. L.
Very nice venue with indoor and outdoor space. Good food also: I had one of the best fish and chips as far as pubs go. It is on the pricey end though.
J. C.
Great friendly pub with plenty of space and function room upstairs
G. O.
It's a Young's pub with no Young's Special. Hm.. Somewhat disappointed. Am very local so will be back hoping for return of one of favourite beers.
J. B.
Excellent fish&chips, looks like a good spot for a few pints as well. Recommended.
J. E.
Excellent dinner, very charming service. Highly recommended
Y. S. R.
Lovely pub to have a meal and drinks. Good service nice outside seating as well
A. M.
Went for dinner on the 18th with a party of 6. Food was incredible, very chilled vibe but also a lovely place.
We ordered FAR too much food (basically everything) but it was all reasonably priced and more importantly of outstanding quality. Probably the best pub meal I've had in London. the chicken for main is my pick and you have to get the apple crumble, service was also great.
I don't go Ealing way very much but this is a must visit if you're in the area
L. R.
This place has one of the best looking pub gardens in Ealing, lots of seating options and heaters which are a real must have during covid. Good selection of Rwal ales, modern IPAs and lagers, as well as a good selection of fine wines to go with some really decent pub food.
P. O.
Lovely pub by Ealing Common. Has nice dining area and beer garden.
C. P.
Food was overall generous and really tasty. The nut roast was on the smaller side though, particularly compared to the wonderfully-looking pork belly. We would come back though, all staff wearing masks and good hygiene observed
T. R.
Pleasant atmosphere with an excellent menu..all our dinners were very enjoyable we will be back again soon.
R. C.
Excelent food , service with a smile cosy place with a lovely outdoor garden area
A. A.
Excellent service, absolutely love the indoor décor and outside beer garden which is a nice sizable open area. Good selection of drinks. Kind of a hidden gem within the Ealing area.
I. B.
Lovely place. The staff is fabulous.
The most welcoming place in Ealing.
W. B.
Where to begin well the food is of a very good standard with something for everyone and is not overly priced at all the staff are very attentive and helpful making you fee welcome from the moment that you arrive and the place itself is very nice located by Ealing common with a lovely courtyard outside where you can eat and drink and for some reason it feels like you are on the continent all in all there is nothing but good things to say about this venue a firm favourite of mine and somewhere I always bring visiting friends who are unfamiliar with the area I have been there for dinner twice this week and thoroughly enjoyed both visits
K. N.
Truly lovely food and lovely staff, the chap who served me with longish hair is a true credit to this establishment! Keep up the good work!
P. C.
Comfy gastro pub with a large outdoor space.. The sausage and mashed potatoes was very good!
S. R.
Lovely pub, great food (big portions!), and most of all, friendly and helpful staff.
M. D. L. S.
The place was really really nice! I bet in summer is a hidden gem. We went to have a Sunday roast. The waitress asked how we wanted the beef cooked and we said medium rare. However when it came it was well done. Asides the pork chorizo croquettes were nice and the sticky toffee dessert. £30pp with drinks.
M. Z.
Very very nice. Delicious food, great service. Clean me cozy
N. F.
Attentive staff, decent selection of beer, great beer garden and comfortable and cosy inside.
A. C.
Amazing layout & vibe! Outside area is like a beautiful garden absolutely beautiful! Food was amazing quality to the highest standard and the proverbial finger licking good! (I want more!) Staff are super amazing and super friendly always smiling and great conversation! Special thanks to our waiter Liam! He was a star! now if every waiter was like this guy I will be constantly back!
D. G.
The Grange has been a mainstay of Ealing for far too many years to count.
It is in a pleasant setting and is well maintained inside, with lots of space inside and out with mostly bright and inviting seating inside, with only the area around the fireplace being dark, which is completely acceptable in my opinion.
The garden has lots of seats, some of which is covered against the elements with heaters, so usable in the British summertime!
Management has changed many times and sometimes this hasn't been for the better, however, I would say that the current management is doing a really good job.
S. L.
Amazing pub with some great beers and a very good Sunday lunch! Staff were great too, will definitely be back a lot over the summer 👍
A. D.
Really nice pub with amazing staff and a decent menu of drinks and food. Covid measures followed. Ensure you book before you go. Must try the old fashioned and the Charcuterie board.
B.
The whole ambience and service was amazing as always except this time there was one male staff member (management I think) who was extremely rude! Lovely quaint pub in the middle of Ealing. I'm not a huge pub goer but take friends and family here from time to time, great food and don't let my one bad experience put you off, I usually rate this place a 10*
D. S.
1 st time i'd been in a pub since lockdown and I have to say it was v pleasant. We were shown to our seats in the garden. It's a modern pub furnished etc as such.
The experience was like it would be in a bar/ restaurant in Europe in that we were served in our seats by a very helpful woman who was in effect a waitress. Not as free as a normal boozer but the system worked well and we had a really nice time.
S. E.
Took some friends to The Grange last weekend and sat outside in the garden, lovely day and lovely food.
L. B.
Efficient and friendly staff. Good covid measures. Great selection of lager and wine and nice bar food selection (full menu looked good but I'd already eaten!)
N. N.
Been here a few times and it is a lovely pub for a drink, but a bit stressful for food, especially when its a sunny busy weekend. Twice now my otherwise delicious roast has had dry, solid potatoes, no burgers served on a Sunday - even though its on the menu AND that's what i ordered at the bar (was brought a roast chicken instead...). Waited an hour for deserts without any warning on how long they'd be - I know they were busy, but just say. They did however offer a refund.
Staff are hardworking and friendly, setting is lovely - wouldn't come here for food again, but definitely for drinks - the garden is wonderful and mostly sunny!
R. W.
Nice local pub, great colourful dishes. Particularly enjoyed their wine list.
B.
very nice atmosphere . good variety of food and wines .
M. D. S.
This was the first time I went there.
It was for someone's birthday party, where they'd hired one of the private rooms.
I have a little puppy that can't be left alone at the moment, so I called them up a few days before to ask if he would be allowed there
The person I spoke to said it was was fine, but funnily enough thought I was asking to bring a million puppies with me :)
Until I put them straight..
When I got to the pub I was a bit concerned to let my puppy go inside - because... puppy...
After entering though I was really happy to see that this was actually a place that likes animals... They had a massive water bowl plus a bowl with food in.
They also have a nice outside bit of to walk the dog about that is quite secluded - although there is a park opposite.
The staff were fantastic and loved seeing animals.
If I lived in this area it would definitely be my pub of choice - even if I didn't have a pet... The people there loved seeing my dog and I heard stories about people bringing cats too.
T. F.
Love this pub.. food is delicious, staff are friendly. Everyone stuck to the guidelines and outdoors is lovely in the sun!
C. F.
Delicious food. Really efficient, accommodating friendly staff. Beautiful garden. A great find.
J. R.
Nice pub, terrible food.
This is one of my locals. Its in a nice location and happy to have a drink here, but food is really poor.
I've eaten here twice recently and it was bad twice.
Vegetarian tart was boiled broccoli and cauliflower in a pastry bucket. It wasn't a tart.
Fish and chips were poor.
We gave this feedback at the end of the meal and got nothing back (I'll tell the chef blah blah blah).
3 stars is generous. Must do better.
m. p.
Our go to pub and gastro in Ealing. Never lets us down!
M. M.
This pub is great. As soon as you walk in you get a warm feeling, staff are lovely and friendly. Plenty of space but also lots of nooks and crannies if you want privacy. Very good selection of drinks and on top of that a beautiful garden. Location is a little awkward but worth travelling to. Haven't had the food so can't say about that yet. I will definitely be back soon
D. N.
Very nice garden, great food and nice staff, one of my favourites pub in the area!
J. S.
Have had some good meals here historically, but had a meal recently where the service was appalling. We waited two hours for food and nobody offered to help us or came to ask us how we were until we went and found them.
In the end we got the food which was bang average.
I understand times are harder over covid but if I compare the service and food to other places I've dined in a post covid world it was simply worse.
S. T.
We visited The Grange yesterday for Sunday Lunch. It was our first visit after moving into the area recently.
The pub is beautiful and has a wonderful atmosphere.
The food was amazing (the beef was cold when it arrived but everything else was hot).
I am sorry to say that the service was poor.
I am sure it was just a busy day and perhaps we came when there were many other customers but we were sat down and not given menus after about 15 minutes we had to ask someone to please give us menus, and after another 10.15 minute wait ask if we could make a drinks order and the same for food.
We were then left with our plates in front of us for quite a while (about 30 minutes). At one point a waiter asked us if we had enjoyed our meal, and if we were finished. We said yes, and he walked way - leaving the dishes with us. We eventually had to ask if the table could be cleared.
The puddings came quickly though and the service from that point was lovely so I am sure it was just busy when we sat down at first or perhaps there had been a shift change or something.
We will be back to visit again and I am not trying to make a mountain out of a molehill just give honest feedback.
Thanks for a lovely lunch! We will be back! :)
C. W.
Great place to visit. I used to drink there some 40 years ago but it's nothing like I remembered it. It's bright and airy with plenty of seating both inside and out. There's a large selection of beers wines and spirits. There's also a good choice of food available which our group all enjoyed. This is a good place to meet up in couples or larger groups. I'll definitely be going again.
J. B.
This is a fantastic pub. It has a great interior whether you want to sit on stools or sofas or eat in there is a small restaurant area. They have a very unique beer garden, it's decor is lovely. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. Would highly recommend this place.
L.
Simply the best pub in Ealing. Very nice atmosphere and the garden outside is super chill. There are benches with nice coushioning and you can also have a smoke outside. The people that come here are always down to have some fun and play games. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to hangout with friends and chill out.
h. w.
Lovely pub with a range of seating areas and good service
M. S.
Had Sunday lunch here and was really looking forward to a good meal. It was my first time to this pub and 1st impressions were good. The staff were friendly and the pub itself looks really good. Just a shame the food didn't match. Ordered the roast beef and looked really good with great looking yorkshire pudding. Had to send it back twice as it was luke warm at best both times. It was only the friendliness of the staff that I have given this place 3 stars.
J. M.
Staying at the DoubleTree Hotel on the other side of the Common and after a nice stroll found ourselves at the Grange for an early dinner. Friendly welcome, nice menu and very good beers on tap (Youngs) - place was quiet but a nice relaxed atmosphere. Order placed and not long to wait...very good belly pork with roast spuds and cabbage with bacon and black pudding; wife went for a Greek Salad but there were other veggie choices on the menu. Well recommended and there is a some nice seating in an outside area off the main bar which we would like to try out on another visit..
E. F.
The food was great, however they didn't have certain dishes such as the hamburger on Sunday. The service was satisfactory. But the food made up for it, absolutely spectacular.
Since this review I have been back again and let me tell you the sunday roast sharing platter for the shoulder of lamb was out of this world. 100% would recommend!!!
A. R.
My partner and I go here all the time. A perfect local watering hole any time of the year. Best outdoor seating in Ealing. Amazing gin and tonics too ;) Just a really nice cozy clean and high quality pub.
Z. Y.
Don't order the steak!
This pub has a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. It also gets very busy which is a good indication of a good pub. There's a decent beer garden out back despite all the concrete, and the restaurant area is another room that is more formal for something a little more special. There is an OK wine list and a great menu. But I ordered the steak and so did two others of our party and unfortunately that made for three disappointed patrons; it was grey, thin and not cooked as requested.
Not a show stopper by any means and The Grange still features as one of our go to local pubs.

Really enjoyed my visit. My scallop and prawn starter was good but my friends soup starter was more like a main, way too much pasta in the tomato soup.
The fish and chips went down well.
My seafood main was very good. I would recommend the place.

Absolutely brilliant place. The outside seating area looks like an indoors huge conservatory. exquisite. £65 for 3 x sausages (x3)sausages each on mash meals one small portion of fries and I had a small home made sausage roll an d a little garni. Our group had 2 beers and a glass of wine. 1 coffee and 1 tea. We took some lovely photos though!

Nice food, lovely garden but busy. And no one wearing any masks.

Friendly staff. Pleasant spacious pub. However, Sunday lunch took 45 minutes to arrive (in fairness we were pre-warned at the time of ordering) the salmon starters were microscopic & the main courses meats were pretty cold on the plate. Staff were highly apologetic and kind, but, that being said, it cannot be recommended without reservation. Sorry.

Violetta and her team were fantastic...brilliant, friendly service from all. The staff accommodated our every wish for our lunch event. The setting of the conservatory and the garden was perfect and the buffet lunch was delicious. A huge thank you for making it such a great day!

Lovely venue, disappointing food.
I went to the Grange on a Thursday night for the pub quiz. I arrived just before it started and was very lucky to be able to grab a table because the pub was packed inside and out.
It must have been over a year since I have eaten here. From what I remember I was satisfied before. The menu looked pretty impressive, I decided to quickly order the fish and chips and settle down for the quiz. This time the food was very poor. The fish seemed like it had only been battered on one side. The chips were skinny fries that looked like the scraps left over from someone elses order, 70% of the potion were shards less than 1cm long!
Maybe it was because the place was so busy, or maybe I would have been better off ordering the other fish dishes from the specials board (which I only noticed on the way out). Whatever the reason, I'll think twice before eating here again.

Excellent local pub. Very nice ambience, warm and cozy with plenty of different seating options. Great outdoor space as well for warmer days, and useful private function rooms of different sizes.
I wish the food was better - that's the one thing that is less than perfect. Good service, friendly staff, and nice venue.

Sunday Roast was incredible, probably one of the best in the area. Unfortunately due to the place being very busy, the service was very slow, having to wait over an hour for our food to arrive and over 20 mins for our drinks to arrive on each order. If you aren't in a rush but want great food, this is the place for you.
I love this place, and thank you for a great meal 🙂 would definitely bump to 5 stars if the service improves over the next few months as I'll definitely be coming back.

We had a delicious Sunday roast. In fact, we were very impressed with the quality. Definitely we will be back soon. Thanks. Sara

Visited on a Saturday night while under level 2 lockdown. It was not very busy but waiter on table server was keen for us to order through the App but not help find it. He had to be prompted for info.
Apart from this guy, the staff were good.

Nice place, shame then only sell beer and wine. During busy time we waited around 2h for food but It was nice.

An exceptionally nice pub. It's quite difficult for pubs to differentiate themselves these days as they're all going for the same sort of style, but The Grange manages somehow!
The staff were super nice and friendly, although those I encountered were perhaps a bit inexperienced; when I ordered a cocktail the bar tender had follow instructions from a laminated card. However, as someone who is practically a reincarnation of Jesus Christ himself I forgave her and enjoyed my noob cocktail.

This pub is a bit of a family tradition, I love that they are dog friendly and their pub quizz is great, however as a vegetarian I'm really unimpressed with their veggie nut roast. They used to make an amazing one but the last few times I found it horrible and was unable to actually eat the main piece, the nut roast. It feels like I'm eating a very dense piece of bad bread. The first time I had it I told them that I wasn't impressed so when I went back I thought I'd try it again, and it was just as bad. It's a bit of a shame really.

Really lovely pub but service was a little slow - food was good!

Whatever I say about this pub/restaurant cannot do it even the remotest justice about how good the quality of service or food was upon visiting it this Sunday gone past. Staff who were not only friendly, but also incredibly sweet and accommodating, taking in a last minute booking as well as providing a Vegan alternative to one of our party.
Food wise it is of very good quality with all parties praising the squid rings, and myself heaping praise upon the delectable steak that was served.
They went above and beyond and could have not asked for anything more. Having lived in Ealing almost my entire life, I regret only that I did not frequent this venue on a more regular basis.

Love this pub, both indoors on an average lunchtime or outside in their cool garden. Food is great pub nosh and friendly staff. A really nice place in Ealing and light, too.

Nice pub with good atmosphere. There is a good outside area but it does not have any coverings for the rain

Excellent pub. Great beer selection and awesome garden. Not a lot of trashy drunks, which is definitely a plus.
Clean toilets for the most part. Not easy to park if you drive, so don’t

Great pub!! The food we ordered was tasty (especially the sausage rolls)!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely visit again.

This place is within walking distance of my kids' home in Ealing so we traipsed over. It was not terribly crowded and there was adequate wait staff. The menu was kind of limited compared to restaurants in the US... I had the cottage pie which was roughly the equivalent of shepherd's pie... It was good but the side of kale with bacon was so salt as not to be edible. Sorry but that is the truth of it... There were 5 of us and we smiled much of the menu. I was the only one who felt moderately let down though...

Great pub with a variety of different seating areas to accommodate the season and type of pub outing you want to enjoy. Works for a quiet drink with a friend; a pub quiz on a Thursday night; a catch up on a summer's evening in the garden; an evening meal on a cold winter's night...
The pub has a welcoming atmosphere, a decent selection of drinks and food quality food. What's not to love?

Great pub and a pleasant atmosphere.

Excellent Service, friendly and attentive staff, decent menu. Sensibly priced. Good for a lunch date or drinks with friends.

Really nice pub with nice beer garden. Bit pricy but it's worth to visit.

Lovely beer garden and great selection of drinks. Friendly staff and generally a good atmosphere. However, our food took almost an hour to arrive and was quite bad when it did finally arrive. Won't be coming back for food but will definitely return for drinks!

Excellent food and service. Good Garden area with parking close by

It’s my local but I’ve taken a while to rate it. It’s an excellent spot to grab a drink in this quiet, tree-lined corner of Ealing, I always pop in for a drink only, but I decided to grab a bite this weekend, some crispy calamari. Which came out looking excellent and the first few bites were: unfortunately the rest of it was raw. I called it out to the waitress, who looked sheepish, but just took it away. No apology, no mention , and since I paid the bill in advance, I left hungry and unhappy. That’s when I decided to rate it . So there

Had a really delicious lunch.Roast rib plus the trimmings and an amazing cheese cake.Good service from Jem.I like the interesting lay out of the whole pub as lots.of different spaces so not all.on.top of each other.
Only one criticism the toilet seat in the ladies was not secured.

This is a fantastic pub. It has a great interior whether you want to sit on stools or sofas or eat in there is a small restaurant area. They have a very unique beer garden, it's decor is lovely. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

My partner and I go here all the time. A perfect local watering hole any time of the year. Best outdoor seating in Ealing. Amazing gin and tonics too ;) Just a really nice cozy clean and high quality pub.

Fish and chips top notch, girlfriend had a shepherd's pie which was unreal. Also got a free hot toddy due to app promotion which helped my sore throat. Good service too.

Quite off the beaten track quality tavern with a nice beer garden and decent restaurant.

Wonderful experience after the London Marathon, excellent staff and divine food. Top marks, best pub in Ealing. Very shiny cutlery.

Been here a few times and it is a lovely pub for a drink, but a bit stressful for food, especially when its a sunny busy weekend. Twice now my otherwise delicious roast has had dry, solid potatoes, no burgers served on a Sunday - even …
