Reviews of The Harrison Pub & Hotel
S. B.
I didn’t expect to find such a unique pub in the local area but I will certainly be returning. There’s a very different range of drinks available and although not cheap, it feels justified by the uniqueness. The staff are friendly and there’s a handful of benches outside which are pleasant enough to sit at. For a different option in the area I’d recommend.

Spent a few nights in the 3-person room in Harrison's hotel, and what a lovely stay it was! The room wasn't big (didn't need to be) but had all the amenities a hotel room needs, with the added benefit of a homecooked English breakfast every morning. Staff was incredibly friendly and the bar was nice too! Can't beat the location, either.
K. L.
My husband and I had a wonderful three-night stay at The Harrison. Room was simple, warm, and comfortable. Service was professional and very kind. We also enjoyed the pub's Sunday roast -- delish!
A. B.
Excellent neighbourhood pub with top-notch Sunday roasts. Staff remembered me - I hope in a good way - my second time here. Where else in Central London do you get that?
J. B.
Sunday Lunch on way to train at Kings Cross. Fantastic service, good beers and drinks selection. Food was just perfect, Mains and desserts cooked and presented really well. Would recommend and we will return one day when next in London.
l. L.
Well managed pub and hotel. Our room was in very good condition. Service is world class and heartful. Price and location are perfect. On top of that, the full English breakfast included is fresh and has big portion. At first I was worried about noise because it has a pub, but turn out it was not noisy at all after dinner hours so it was kind of a perfect stay.
A. S.
Nice pub with a range of cask ales. Not far from King's Cross and St Pancras stations, but tucked away on a side street, so not too busy.
S. F.
Thoroughly recommended. Stayed for one night. On arrival the pub was closed, so to gain access ring the bell on the door to the right of the pub. I got a warm welcome from the host, and shown the room, which was clean and bright. Shower a little cramped for me (I'm very tall) but all worked well and nice range of toiletries and tea/coffee in the room.
Street noise for a while (stopped at 11pm) but earplugs were provided if needed.
Location is a pub on a housing estate, about 10-15 minutes walk from Euston/Kings Cross.
Breakfast was served in the pub, and was fantastic - really delicious and served with a smile. Great service, would definitely stay here again. Currently typing this review in the Harrison pub after checkout - do try their great range of beers!
J. H.
Really good Sunday roast, lamb cooked perfectly, good potatoes and veg. Gravy absolutely brilliant. Nice selection of cask and keg beers. Probably priced slightly too high but would return.

Having a wander through the back streets of London WC1, after visiting the Dickens museum and came across this little gem.
Okay, it's not the most magnificent pub in London but the landlord was brilliant as was the red wine I had and if you understand wine like I naturally do, you would visit here just for that and the ambience of the place.
C. G.
We had our team's work Christmas dinner here and it was perfect - food was delish (both for vegans and non) staff very accommodating and there was a piano for us to sing (scream??) carols round. We'll be back next year, thank you!
G. P. (.
Lovely local on the corner of Seafood St and Harrison St in St Pancreas.
Lovely, friendly staff 😀 and beautifully clean establishment.
Well kept real ale 🍺.
Take a trip off the beaten track for this gem.
P. G.
Best Sunday beef roast dinner with delicious Yorkshire pud. Staff so friendly, were really taken with our 21 month old grandson. Will definitely be back next time we're in London
M. J.
I lovely friendly pub which serves great food and entertainment. Been here many times and the food never disappoints. Shame they never seem to serve enough chips. Lol
s. b.
Friendly staff good food and service, highly recommended. It is one of the most relaxed pubs in the area
S. J.
Decent stop between Hatton Garden and Kings Cross for a pint! Close to Grays Inn Rd too. Decent selection of draft beer with good too 👍
J. C.
A group of us went for Sunday lunch. Fabulous meal and yummy desserts. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
K. K.
Delicious Sunday roast! Friendly atmosphere and super polite staff!
A. H.
Cozy and friendly basement gig space underneath a clean and spacious modern pub. Several craft beers and a few cask lines.
C. S.
A home away from home
Stayed there for 7 nights and absolutely loved it. Nice, clean rooms, great food, fantastic location and wonderful staff. Thanks so much, will definitely be back.
D. H.
They had lamb on the menu which was really nice. Great Yorkshires. Friendly speedy service. I’d definitely go back.
f. f.
The Sunday falafel roast tasted terrible and was served with incredibly stingy amounts of veg. The apple crumble was nice though.
J.
Great little pub with smashing food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Happy we found it.
G. S.
Great little pub. Good food options and friendly staff
T. C.
A lovely little music venue situated in a fantastic pub.
R. K.
A wonderful, quaint little pub. You usually have to book on weekends, but somehow we got lucky in that a party hadn't turned up. When we sat down, it felt instantly relaxing. You got the sense that you were being welcomed into a warm, cosy and comfortable hearth. We had the Sunday roast, I had the lamb and my girlfriend and best friend had the beef. It was delicious, a soul soothing hearty and satisfying meal. We ended up staying until almost closing time (our luck kept going because the next booking also didn't turn up), the atmosphere was just wonderful, and we still talk about that night now, almost a year later, I will surely visit this place again.
L. B.
Friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Well organised.
K. M.
Stayed here over weekend amazing staff always smiling and happy to help. Helpful staff worth staying and lovely cooked breakfast
S. M.
Great pub, decent drinks, decent atmosphere
D. E.
Great little pub, with outdoor seating. Super friendly staff and delicious roasts and wine. Perfect for a Sunday!!!
P. E.
Good food and good beer, all reasonably priced.
N. K.
Lovely little bar tucked away off Euston Road. Definitely worth a vidit
M. w.
What a good place to stay friendly and welcoming, delicious breakfast, and convenient for Kings Cross. We love it
L. W.
Love this local independent pub! The pub has a nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and they have a great selection of beers too. The roast dinner and banoffee pie might have to be the best I’ve had in London - highly recommend!
A. H.
Went for lunch and as usual was not disappointed. The food served at The Harrison is very good value and the new lunch menu has two different portion sizes, which on this occasion was great, as my mum was able to have a small fish and chips. The Harrison has to be one of my favourite places to eat and drink in the area. The staff are friendly, it's very cosy and there are outside tables. As a local who has lived in Kings Cross for 30 years, I'm really aware of big chains taking over, particularly in the Brunswick centre and Granary Square. It's just so great to have small independent businesses keeping the local feel of the area alive and The Harrison is one of them.
M. J.
Went to see a gig here on Friday night and what a great place. They seem to specialise in acoustic gigs, however I noticed that there was also some spoken word and comedy nights coming up. What made me like it so much was getting a pork belly at about 9.55 pm. I was very happy indeed. Went to The Harrison again on Sunday night for the live Irish music session and it was great. Great music and I had an amazing roast, this place just gets better. Very happy to have moved into Kings Cross just to go to The Harrison.
P. B.
Really lovely pub with a local feel, very close to Saint Pancras. Great food, lovely vegetarian and vegan options and a large selection of beers and other drinks. The landlady and landlord are very friendly and helpful. Willing to give advice when you want it. The hummus was really good and the super salad is actually super, also super filling!
J. M.
Lovely friendly pub, great roast dinner, only missed the 5 th star because it was so busy & noisy, maybe I'm getting old!! Love that it's a totally independent pub, so all tips go to all the staff, including the poor chef in the kitchen upstairs, we'll definitely come again. Thanks Jane and all :)
k. k.
Go all the time from work, great staff and great pub 👍
R. C.
This is an INCREDIBLE pub and hotel. The service is just perfect, better than ANY hotel I have been before. The breakfast is fresh and soooooo tasty. First hotel that makes scramble eggs as they should be done. The food there is just perfect, with fresh ingredients and a brilliant chef. The rooms are really simple, nothing fancy, but you are not there to watch TV... but to enjoy yourself and visit London. Seriously, is a great hotel to visit London, and then arrive late to have an amazing dinner and great time at the pub.
D. M.
Great pub, great beer and food. Lovely atmosphere.
H. S.
Lovely little pub, away from the main road. Had a great IPA on tap and the Sunday roast was spot on. Don't think I've ever been asked how I want my beef cooked when ordering a Sunday roast before so that was a pleasure as I like mine pink and not like leather. The beef was perfect and the gravy was lush...
A. K.
Really enjoyed this place! Good selection of beer on tap and a great cosy environment to have a drink. Food was also very tasty! To add to it, there's free live music on Wednesdays and it was really worth it to go. Great musicians in a lovely environment
P. C.
Excellent local pub. Over the last few years I've popped in for a drink a few times and I've just had Sunday lunch. I'm happy to confirm that the food is good as well as the drink.
G. N.
The best food we've had so far in London and all the staff were so kind. Menu is modest but incredible, and full of truly delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend the Grilled Halloumi Salad - mind blown.
L. T.
We had a work event and had dinner and drinks at the Harrison. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. Big thanks to Sophie and Alex who really helped out and everything went great without a glitch! The dinner was for 26 so a big crowd and all the food came out with no issues.
Thanks once again!
T. B.
We spent a week here and loved it. Great staff, serving great food and drinks. Rooms are small, but we weren't there to hangout in the rooms. Each day started with a great breakfast and then ended with drinks in the pub. Close to all the public transport at Kings Cross.
X. W.
Great friendly service, a good selection of European beers, nothing quirky. The food has a good selection - a good mix of meat dishes, veggie dishes and even a couple of vegan dishes. The menu changes regularly. The tastiest dishes are the non-standard ones. The burger was on-par for a pub but the risotto cake was really great.
D. A.
Situated 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross, I was very pleased with my stay here. The rooms are comfortable and well presented with all the conveniences you would expect.
The breakfast was also well presented and generous in size/selection.
The bar also has live music, which I was not able to see on this visit. I was very pleased overall with my stay and would recommend it, I will certainly return for fuiture visits to London.
S. L.
Friendly staff, nice place for a drink
G. P. R.
Now a Gastro Pub and serves a mean Sunday roast, which are reasonably priced. Good selection of ales, lager and stout. A clean establishment with friendly staff. Off the beaten track but worth a visit.
T. G.
A work local for myself and an oasis of calm come the end of a working day or week. While it doesn't have a drink list a mile long it has a solid list of good quality mains and a rotation of guests. Being a cider drinker I'm very glad they have Aspel on tap and have some bottles or guests if I feel like mixing things up. My ale imbibing companions have a wider selection and show fondness for that which is available. To soak up the brew a plethora of hot snacks and main dishes are available for a reasonable price. I am particularly partial to sharing the trio of chips(fries, chunky, & sweet potato) with a friend.
Well worth spending an hour or two here to put a nice cap on your day.
C. N.
We came here for their Sunday Roast after hearing how good it was and we weren't disappointed. So good! The prices are reasonable as well and there's free wifi. One point is knocked off for the decor and ambiance (or lack thereof). Inside it is very simple (plain wooden tables; hard seats) but even so, not terribly uncomfortable. It's also a bit out of the way and not especially close to the nearest tube station (10 min walk?). That being said, it's well worth a visit for the Sunday Roast and live Irish Folk Music jam on Sunday evenings!
T. L.
Lovely venue with good food and awesome live music on a regular basis. It would be a glowing 5 stars if some of the bar staff were not a bit moody / rude!
D. C.
A great little pub, tucked away off Gray's Inn Road, about 5 minutes walk from King's Cross. A good selection of beers in cask, keg and bottles, plus lots of seating including some tables outside.
There is also a downstairs room that is used as a venue to comedy, spoken word and live music. A hidden gem!
R. B.
Lovely staff team, nice venue downstairs and tidy all over. Clean glasses and nice atmosphere.
Ordered food too. Chips were lovely but the battered haddock was awful. Very disappointing for the price attached to the meal. Worth £8 tops, felt very disappointed having paid £13 for it.
L. P.
I had the roast lamb which was very nice but I have had better. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious and worth ten out of ten. However a lot of windows were open and I was cold. Also I found the music far too loud and intrusive. Finally, the service was pleasant and efficient
N. D.
I am so happy we found this place. My husband and I stayed for a week-long trip to London and we could not be more pleased with the location, atmosphere, food, and hospitality of the Harrison. This place is a dream for vegetarians. We were served a full vegetarian breakfast in our room at promptly the time we asked. Twice we ordered dinner meals, once on their Sunday roast menu and once on their regular menu. Not one bit disappointed! The Harrison is a gem!!
M. W.
A nice neighbourhood bar in a quiet area - relatively close to the city centre yet more "authentic" than a lot if other places. Good foot, but a rather unimaginative menu. It is more like a restaurant than a pub. You can't sit at the bar and most punters seem to be there for the food rather than the drink. It's a bit neither this neither that. Good place for a pint outside in the afternoon though.
T. D.
Nice and quiet, but the quality of the roast was pretty average, slightly dampening things. Also, service is really slow. Although the food came out super quick, it took about five or ten minutes for the barman to acknowledge us, and the same for him to complete our order. We were the only people at the bar... Worth a trip though.
M. S.
The single best pub in England. Hugh, Jane, and Sophie are all amazing and incredibly hospitable. Delighted to call this place our local.
S. A.
Very nice meal with friends/ colleagues this evening. Staff and service quick and friendly, with a good selection of craft beers and specialities.
Particularly enjoyed the Montezuma Chocolate lager, as well as the banoffee pie!
K. W.
Food was lovely. Rooms basic but lovely and clean
S. T.
Our food came out so quick, it was as if they pre-cooked it knowing what we were going to order. It's not the best roast I've had. I asked for my sirloin to be medium-rare, but it was pretty much well-done. The Yorkshire pudding was over done too and gravy too thick. It's a nice little pub, away from the busy main roads.
Wheelchair access: There is a small step to get in and toilets are downstairs (so not accessible).
K. F.
I was visiting just for lunch and I got more than I expected. As a veggie going to non strictly veggie restaurant I was surprised by the amount of (V) friendly options in the menu. Bartender was nice and helpful. Will come again to get some pictures for sure :) I don't have to mention that dish I ordered was really good, otherwise I wouldn't be coming back right? :D
B. L.
Went their to see a band play in the basement. Main bar was nice and clean with helpfull staff and plenty of tables to chill out at before the gig started. Basement was as you would expect - it worked well as a intimate venue for a small gig. The sound and atmosphere were spot in.
S. C.
The Harrison is a fantastic place to stay, great food, rooms and atmosphere. I stayed here earlier this week and was really happy with my stay.
Above a pub a short walk from Kings Cross The Harrison has nicely sized well furnished room, a 5 star breakfast (really important to me when staying away on business) and a great shower and en suite.
A friend joined me for food and drinks on my night of arrival and they have a great menu with a wide selection of beers and ciders and really friendly service.
I will be staying here again and recommending it to friends.
D. W.
Tasty roast dinners, cool atmosphere and sociable staff. I could've sat there for hours. Great for a relaxing Sunday afternoon with friends or family.
M. U.
Saw a band play in the intimate live are downstairs. Lovely vibes. It was more crowded than usual so the main bar service was slow, but they made up for that by having the splendid Cwtch Welsh beer as their guest ale
E. H.
I came here for a Sunday roast with a big group of friends. It was busy at 5pm and cosy and inviting inside although the chairs aren't that comfortable. The food and drinks were average - good gravy and Yorkshire pudding but poor roast potatoes and vegetables.
J. M.
Went for a Sunday roast and was very impressed with the service! Friendly and accommodating staff, delicious food, and a great atmosphere! Will definitely be going back!
C. C.
Went to one of the monthly music sessions that the Harrison hosts, and it was interesting. The event was held in the basement venue, tickets were £8 which for the quality of the music and the musicians that played was pretty stunning as there isn't a bad seat in the house for this. I don't think the seating was more than two tables/four seats deep, so it was like being right up there with whomever was playing, and it didn't make much difference if the sound system had been working or not,
Food and drink were available from the regular bar above, so quite literally whatever was available at the regular bar/restaurant above was also available in the basement as well. The food and drink at the Harrison is generally pretty good, but like a lot of other large establishments that are spread out over a big and quirky areas, it's a challenge for staff to serve it in a timely manner depending on the crowd. And it also depends on what staff is working at any particular time as can be seen in some of the reviews that said they had poor service, cold food etc. So it's somewhat the luck of the draw, but the establishment is capable of great food and good service.
If you are attending a venue in the basement, it is not handicap accessible but there are bathrooms available here as well as elsewhere in the pub.
All in all it's a pretty good venue, and big cudos to the folks at Harrisons for supporting great local music and musicians. They deserve all the support you can give them.
C. K.
It's a nice pub, only 10 mins walk from Kings Cross. The food, oh,! The food is prepared to perfection. The customer service is excellent! I will go there again
P. D.
This is one of mine and my colleagues' favourite after work drinking holes, especially in the summer when you can sit outside and one of the large wooden picnic style tables, although the tables are on the pavements outside where you can people watch rather then being in a 'garden'. A traditional boozer with a sligth contemporary edge. Staff are young and friendly, and the drinks prices are fairly reasaonable for London.
Serving the usual pub options beers, ciders, various spirits. The food is also pretty good and a little bit nicer than your standard pub grub.
Tucked away it doesn't really get too busy or touristy, but lunch and after work crowds can fill the place up.
C. D.
We had been touring London for a few days and had seen ads for a comedy night featuring a couple of local comedians. Since they were only asking £5 each and allowed children under 18, we thought it would be a fun way to spend our last night here. I bought the tickets online and we made our way to the pub shortly before the show. When we arrived the staff seemed unsure if the performers would show up. Eventually they did and we were shown to a dark basement with low ceilings. It was a very small crowd - maybe 20 people - so it was a little awkward when our food arrived as we were the only ones eating. The comedians were pretty good and connected directly with the audience given the small venue. I would go back to another show here but I think I would eat before the show started and pay at the door.
D. B.
Best Sunday roast I've ever had in London - I come here often! Well priced, especially considering the quality. Make sure to phone and book a few days in advance, it can get busy early.
T. H.
Great spot for a Sunday roast! In my opinion one of the best in London. Staff is nice too but decor could be a bit more cosy.
A. B.
A great little London pub in the quieter streets just behind Kings Cross. Super friendly staff, great food (large tasty burgers) and a clean and comfortable space. Outdoor seating a bonus in the summer sun.
A. F.
Really great beer selection (including Wheat Beer/Weißbeir!). The Sunday Roast is very hearty (at least to my American tastes). The Irish Session is friendly and welcoming even to a mediocre bodhrán player like me.
n.
Love the Harrison, its neat and tidy and traditional with lovely, friendly staff!
S. J.
Perfectly sited pocket hotel with only four pretty small, but neat and tidy, rooms. Cosy restaurant with quite a few veg dishes and great breakfast. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Live folk music in the basement and open jam sessions in the bar/restaurant on Sundays. Only drawbacks: WiFi worked fine in the restaurant, but seriously unstable in my room (which was the one farthest from the reception; could probably be solved with a repeater/range extender). Low water flow in the shower (British plumbing...). Rooms on second floor, no lift.
A. D.
Nice venue for drinks .. close to Kings Cross Station but far enough away to be chilled out . Nice range of local beers, and relaxing decor. Would return. The food looked good too .. Might have to try it next time!
S. M.
A lovely little pub, we went last night with friends and received great service. The staff were friendly and helpful.
K. N.
Group dinner with friends (one of them were actually staying at the pub). Everything from the more or less custom made meal to the yummy deserts were amazing! Highlight of the evening you ask? The Calvados after the dinner!!
V. S.
Good food, nice drinks and great atmosphere. They had a irish jam going on when we ate the sunday roast (great) which inspired spontaneous dancing sessions. Great place!
D. M.
After having been to The Harrison 6 or so years ago, I had fond memories of drinking here with friends. Recently I returned with an out of town friend for an early supper here. The menu looks like this should be a proper gastro pub - they had Middle Eastern stews alongside fish and chips and a burger. I ordered my burger medium and it came well done. I wanted to flag down a waiter but they had seemingly vanished. My friend said his fish and chips were so-so. My wine was nice and the service, when it did come, was pleasant. But it was a shame to have to eat a dry overcooked burger when what I wanted was something pink and juicy.
m. p.
Comfortable pub with a friendly atmosphere and good chips!
U. S.
Nice and chilled Pub away from the hectic Kingscross and tourists. This is a good spot for lunch where the hallumi wrap and fish n chips are fantastic. The fish has a great thick crispy battar which is not oily and the fish inside is still moist and cooked through. For those that like thick chips it comes with really thick ones, however I'm a fries liking guy so they swap it for me. Quiet and friendly service. Recommend for locals in the area.
A. M.
Lovely pub, 100% Covid- secure. The owner and staff were attentive to all our needs. Friendly & cosy place 👌🏼
J. B. W.
Lovely pub near kings cross, really nice to see a jam session from some local musicians. Had lamb roast and partner had but roast both where lovely
G. J.
Another good find. A gastro pub with music off Gray's Inn Road near King's Cross. Varied food menu, amiable staff and a great pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord. Free music in the evenings in the ground floor bar, e.g. folk and klezmer jam sessions. There is also a basement for paid concerts.
A. W.
There was meant to be a comedy night but it was cancelled at the last minute. The pub itself is ok, nothing particularly special about it. Nice for a few drinks at standard London prices
E. B. K.
Our neighborhood pub with great local folk music shows, a casual, comfortable atmosphere, and lots of candles. Exactly what the pub should be. Gastro menu looks nice too, for dinner before the music.
R. W.
I really like the variation of food here. It caters well for vegetarians as well. The roasts are good here and folk music starts up on a Sunday evening in the main bar.
D. K.
The Harrison is a good place to meet up for an lunch or evening meal and drinks. On my visit there was a traditional Irish band playing which added to the warm friendly ambiance of the place. I do recommend going here.
O. S.
Rugged and cozy atmosphere and friendly staffs, but the food wasn't quite up to the expectation; fish wasn't seasoned at all for my fish & chips, and its beer batter was bit soggy and still tasted of beer.
M. S.
We stayed four nights in the hotel. The room was great; comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were fantastic. If you can be there on a Sunday for the roast, it's well worth your time
S. T.
Friendly staff and a warm welcome
A. B.
Not sure what's going on with the Harrison as there seems to be some talk of it closing, which would be a massive shame as this place is a gem in the heart of a transformed Kings Cross. In the time since it was taken over and been transformed by the current owner, it went from being one of the roughest boozers with stiff competition to helping drive the revitalisation of the area as a trendy spot, raising and setting a high bar for gastropubs and continuously championing live music in the basement bar and beyond. If the rumours are true and its hours are numbered, then get yourself down there before that happens. You won't regret it.
M. H.
Great burgers, could do with a few more craft beers but the ones they have on are tasty and well kept, they have a cool function room downstairs that hosts various shows its a great little pub.
K. G.
Super fresh food and a great beer selection. Nice stripped back vibe with gig space downstairs. A pleasant relaxing place to be
p. c.
Wish this was my local. Cannot believe how well we were treated tgere
G. J.
My favourite pub in London. Great atmosphere, amazing food and outstanding music. If you love folk music you'll love The Harrison.
M. T.
Large gastro pub with a good menu selection. Big on the inside with space to sit outside the pub.
Choice of beers and ales are pretty good too.
It is good dinner option in this area.
D. S.
Food was beautiful and staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. Will 100% be recommending to family and friends. 0
L. L.
Pub was very basic but clean and pleasant to sit in. The food was very tasty and cooked well and served on hot plates and a good portion size after a long walk.
C. M.
Excellent bar, much quieter than the more touristy/post office bars nearby. They have a great food selection also, and realise that risotto is not the only meal for vegetarians.
B. K.
Great pub and room. Room to a high standard, quiet despite single glazing; staff all incredibly helpful. Breakfast, beers and pub food all spot on. Would love to return.
W. K.
Nice charming pub in the area.
C. B.
Lovely Sunday lunch had here, food was great and staff very friendly and welcoming although did feel it took a while to get a copy of the menu to order!
R. W.
Nice for the area but, in keeping with the area, expensive. Expect a drink to be in the region of £5. There's a handy basement venue which can be reserved for events. Anecdotally, this area is free to book if you can guarantee an audience of 25.
J. H.
Friendly ambience and a great, intimate, folk venue in the basement. Free on street parking after 6.30pm. Free motorcycle bays near by, off Cromer St. Five minutes walk from King's cross station 🚉
J. P.
Solid pub, somewhat on the pricey side. Excellent space downstairs for gigs and meet ups. Didn't eat the food but it looked good.
L. P.
Good pub food, very patient staff (we were a party of above 30), good ambience. I think they do music downstairs.
J. A.
Great folk music pub. Regular folk festivals and often interesting acts. Food is also really good as is the range of ales.
P. C.
Food was good but they didn't have our booking so we ended up in the basement, which wasn't good. Nice upstairs in the bar if you're lucky enough to sit up there.
d. j.
Great place to spend an evening, fab service - very friendly and helpful, some good beers - particularly Chieftain. Water taps on the bar a brilliant touch.
E. G. F.
Food is at another level, incredible amazing, and you can have it along with a wide selections if beers at the bar. Come here and enjoy yourself.
R. P.
Always great service, great beers and spirits, and great food. Mainly frequented by locals who tend to be a friendly bunch. Great place for a few drinks.
T. M.
Really good Sunday roast, nice little pub that feels tucked away somehow but is actually not too far from Kings Cross St. Pancras station.
O. D.
Great pub. Where people are taken care of. Good basic food. One will go on the regular basis
N.

Stayed at the hotel one night and it was great for a short term stay. Small room and weak pressure shower, but amazing location and the pub is lovely. There were vegan options for food, but the pub did close earlier than we expected.
L. D. R.
We went for fish & chips on a crowded Saturday evening. The hosts were incredibly friendly, they were very helpful and sweet! The fish & chips were very tasty, the batter was crispy and the fries thick.
D. T.
What is not love about this place? A great backstreet pub with lovely attitude. Great beer. Both varieties, cask and keg. A good time spent and enjoyed. Named after, I am told after a shoe factory, local to here. Not John Harrison, man of longitude, Dava Sobel (author of longitude) etc. Two stories to investigate, shoes and sailing!

(Translated) Very friendly atmosphere like the typical London staff very generous breakfast.

(Translated) The Harrison Pub & Hotel was an absolute hit for us: the location is excellent (close to St. Pancras train station) if you arrive by Eurostar, the food was excellent (plentiful and not expensive for London, breakfast was in the Accommodation rate included and you could order anything you wanted) and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. When we wanted to go on a trip to "The Shard" and the "Globe Theater" one morning and it was raining, we were immediately lent umbrellas. The combination of pub and hotel turned out to be very pleasant, because when you came back to the hotel after a day's excursion, you could sit outside until 11 p.m. and enjoy the delicious food (Tikka Masala was vegetarian as well as with chicken). We can recommend the "Harrison" one hundred percent and would book there again at any time. :)
(Original)

(Translated) My husband and I have been here and eaten several times. On one of the trips we were back 3 or 4 times and ate dinner in 16 days, a couple of years ago.
The food here is really good.
Sometimes there is musical entertainment at the pub as well. The decor was cozy the last time we were at The Harrison.
We will be eating at The Harrison next time we are in London, as long as the Harrison is open and good.
