I've visited the Hope for first time last Sunday and absolutely loved it! Nice atmosphere, good beer and the food was superb. I've ordered the roast beef and it was proudly served by the chef her self (Sarah), the meat was perfectly cooked, the gravy was yummy, soft vegetables and crispy delicious roast potatoes. I simply loved it. Will definitely go back!

First time at this clean, friendly COVID aware pub. Service friendly and efficient. The Sunday roast is magnificent . Hot , fresh and plenty of it for a very fair price. Massively impressed by this lovely local pub who knock spots off other places serving more expensive lunches in the area. Thanks we will be back!

Just been to the hope for the first time for sunday lunch. Really delicious home cooked food. So lovely . And such a good price. If i had walked up the road to one of the more trendy pubs i would of paid double for my meal. Def going back.great little find.

Lovely old fashioned London pub run by a really super couple. Has an absolutely gorgeous garden which is a real sun trap. Fantastic BBQs is summer, and often run themed parties to celebrate holidays/major events.

Cosy community pub, with fab garden. Good selection of beers and ales at reasonable prices. BBQ available on selected days during summer months, plus there's a function room available for hire for that all important party!!

Never judge a book by its cover! Living in West Norwood for the last 3years, I never thought that I would frequent the Hope Pub. If I’m to be honest I’ve heard that it was rough,curiosity got the better of me. After daring to walk in I was taken aback by their amazing beer garden and more to the fact how welcome me and my friend were made to feel, not just by the staff but the locals also. It really is a lovely family pub, not at all rough as it’s been made out to be. In fact it’s a hidden gem in WeNo and people should give it a go before judging.

A local with a good selection of real ale available.. So close to West Norwood station , ideal for popping in for a pint on the way home .. I visited on a Saturday shortly after opening , just the landlady and myself therefore very quiet , must pop in another time ..

It's a fairly small pub in a relatively quiet part of the area. Bit cheap and some of the drinks were coming out of bottles rather than the tap.
