Reviews of The Ice Wharf
C. G.
Don't often come to a wetherspoons but came here for a few drinks and beers this afternoon as it was convenient.
Plenty of seating as it is massive inside and ordered off the app. Drinks took awhile to come but we're as expected, one ale we got (pictured) were not especially cold though but otherwise could not complain.
Great location if you're on a day out in Camden and obviously cannot argue with the prices! Bathrooms were immaculate.
If you liked my review feel free to give it a 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews!
K. J. (.
Service is lovely quick and efficient.
Location at times can be packed and would suggest to come earlier during peak hours. Food is cheap and cheerful can't complain. Lovely at night sitting by the river , certainly one of the better spoons in London. Would highly recommend.
J. G.
We walked here as we had seen online that they allowed dogs but we were told pretty quickly that they are not allowed.. staff were friendly enough. Just frustrating they are not even allowed in the outside seating area. He is a 3 month old cockapoo so hardly the most dangerous of dogs 😂
A. K.
The best pub in London (imo). It's pretty big an busy but still so cozy because of where it is. It's situated in the heart of Camden Lock and right across the bridge you can get there. All in all a great place.
k. f.
Great spot with the added bonus of great prices, food was amazing as well. You can't go wrong, not sure we would of had the same experience sitting inside as it was very busy and loud.
R. M.
Great value food & drink in great surroundings. One of the better Spoons pubs👍
S. M.
Very good service as always. This particular branch is in a beautiful setting by the canal. Staff are very friendly.
They follow the social distancing and all other govt regulations.
Would highly recommend
C. M.
Fast service for a spoons in central. Joe is a perfect example of how much waiters should be, fast/polite/good looking. More JD Wetherspoons like this from now on!!! Although prices were hiked up for the location, I’m happy to pay it as the occasion and ambience makes up for it. If you can’t afford the other nights out in Camden, come here!!
R.
You can’t go wrong with spoons ! Good, cheap prices and decent food! 5 stars because it’s one of the more modern branches. It’s clean and the staff are really kind and helpful :D
P.
Went on a Saturday night, drinks wetherspoon priced so you can't go wrong. No where to sit unfortunately, so had to stand outside the kitchen and toilets and repeatedly told to move (literally no where to move to) until drinks were finished. Understanding as its busy Saturdays of course but security shouldn't have kept letting loads of people in if they'd reached full capacity, for the staff to then moan at us for standing "in the way". We left after one drink
S. B.
Typical Wetherspoons.
Relatively cheap beer.
Fairly prompt service using the app.
Full of Chesterfield FC fans. Noisy, but well behaved.
Wife wasn't impressed.
I think another visit on the Summer, when the football season is over, might be a better experience.
M. O.
Just had a small breakfast with coffee cost about £6. Very good value particularly with free coffee refills. The coffee is very good in Wertherspoons. This is as very nice large pub. The carpet is pretty good for a Wertherspoons ... Great spot on Camden Lock.
L. K.
Great place to sit down in the Camden Town! Delicious food, great selection of beers and ciders on tap. Could be cleaner though.
R. C. S.
Staff is pleasant, facilities well maintained, lively atmosphere with great menu options. Drinks are well-priced and affordable. Outside seating available with great views!
A. L.
Food was delicious (and I normally dislike food from Wetherspoons!) , Service was fast and efficient, the stools though for the tables were ridiculously high (I'm 6ft so wasn't so much of an issue - Im thinking more towards shorter people - it'll be like climbing a mountain!)
S. P.
Good location, very friendly and helpful staff and very good value for money concerning food and drinks.
Given that this is a busy location, the only annoying thing about socialising here is that customers (not pub staff) feel 'entitled' and may interrupt your conversations to ask if you can swap tables or when you are leaving.
Other than that it was a good experience!
P. M.
Wonderful location, relaxing outdoor area, great staff and all the trimmings you expect from Witherspoon so excellent value for money
M. R.
2 o'clock on a Saturday...place was jam packed , not a seat & it's a big boozer ...I think that's a good thing.
Good atmosphere & my boy works there 👌
K. R.
Lovely atmosphere and great aesthetics. Insanely quick service too. I ordered a drink at 14:14 and the drink was here by 14:15.
s. i.
Hallelujah! A Wetherspoons in Camden in a prime area!!! It is so expensive to go for a drink (or 4!) around there that this is very welcome. Unlike the Holloway branch (which I love for the massive 40's film scenes high on the walls (Bogart/GeneKelly/Garland etc) this has a modern vibe to bring in younger customers
T. P.
Good location, clean, ample seating, great prices and food was good. You can't go wrong, meals with a pint for less than £10 👍🏻
S. A.
Good and nice pub, probably one of the nicest wetherspoons I've been too. Staff are friendly and helpful, bar is large but be warned it gets super busy at times which is to be expected as this pub is right on Camden lock. The outside seating area is small but welcomed especially in the summer. Drinks are reasonably priced as you would expect. I haven't eaten here yet but I would assume its standard spoons quality.
p. b.
Located on the canalside in Camden Town. It’s a great spot round there, particularly for ‘Spoons fans due to the brands value for money.
I didn’t eat, but had a pint and half of Wandel which was very good.
Well worth a try
B. L.
It's a fantastic location for a Wetherspoons. Staff were friendly and helpful. The venue is large, with ample tables. It is a shame that you cannot take your pint outside
M. C.
All the staff except one were very friendly and helpful. The other one looked like a heavy metal fan who resented working there, he was swearing because he brought over drinks that we didn't order, we had a good laugh.
L. T.
One of the only few 'spoons that plays music and it helps with the vibe for sure. Cheap and cheerful, good security and clean toilets! Get very VERY busy at the weekends.
T. S.
Great place to watch the sun go down now that winter is coming.
This Wetherspoons is spacious, has great staff who know their drinks and first time I have seen pimms and lemonade on tap! Which was perfect and offered as a pitcher or by the glass.
Also has great choice of beers and cocktails at great prices and food options is expansive and cheaper than most pubs.
Family friendly pub with lots of outside space next to the canal.
Staff are friendly and efficient and kept the place clean by clearing tables as soon as people left! Love this place and just wished we lived closer to make it our local.
Y. K.
Cozy and quiet in the morning felt like I was in a luxurious café. Had Traditional Breakfast it’s a good value and filling. Also had a 99p free-refill coffee and stayed there after having finished my breakfast for an hour and a half with my book.
Came back next day for lunch and had fish and chips which was also really good!
It gets quite busy in the evening and you can finally feel the pub vibes!
S. W.
We sat outside. Very busy, girl was refused entry to outside as she had a dog (dachshund), while people were only sitting outside to smoke....a group of 6 who may have had a drink and meal sent away.....possibly worth wondering 6 meals and drinks or 4 people taking up seats buying nothing 🤷🏼♀️no drinks. Apart from that incident we enjoyed our drinks, good prices.
G. S.
Great location. This and Greenwich are very well populated and no wonder given the spaces they occupy.
Quiet in the morning for breakfast and plenty of coves to disappear in around the periphery.
M. A.
Stayed here all day from being in Camden Market from 11am. Big place. Full of life. Easy to order from table and the staff were brilliant. 👏
D. C.
As with most Whetherspoons, good value for money.
J. B.
Can't beat spoons good food, good vibes. Used the app to order which was really efficient, order was out in like 10 mins. Staff really friendly and made us feel welcome. Everything super affordable.
E. T.
Food really good value for money, we had pizza, chips, burgers, fish and chips, curry and dessert, everything was tasty and the kids liked their meals too, good size portions and fast service. Great place to come with children.
J. G.
Solid British pub chain. Good prices. Daily food specials. Come here for fish and chips, British ales and Full English breakfast. Also have Steak and Kidneu pies + other Brit favourites.
Awesome view of the Canal at the outside seating if the weather is decent.
Use their pub app to order from your table. There's no table service for ordering like the States (heads up yanks). You need to order at the bar for food and drinks. But usually pretty busy, so the app will save you hassle.
J. C.
Steak cooked how I wanted it fresh orange juice food was good will defo come back
J. E.
Quick service and reasonable prices.
Would have liked my breakfast cooked just s little more ,but still enjoyed it .
M. M.
Lovely place with fast service and delicious pizza 😋 definitely coming back!
A. H.
It's a Wetherspoons, so you know exactly what you'll get before you walk in. Great location by the canal, large inside seating, lots of seating outside too. The usual decent prices for food and drink.
O. D. M.
A great Wetherspoons just on the canal in Camden, right by the water and across from camden market, so great little spot in the summer especially. There isn't too much to say it's a Wetherspoons but it's a good one, very big, lots of seating, and really really good beer for good prices as you would expect from a weather spoons.
F. T. M.
Great will definitely go again , can't wait till the nicer weather so can sit outside .
T.
Standard wetherspoons, well priced for the area. Gets extremely busy when the sun is out, if you can get a table outside it's perfect to watch the boats and gondolas along the canal.
R. M.
Very good place for a beer. Just a quite bad the noisy of the coffee machine and the jacket potato could be a bit bigger 😊
C. S.
Great view of the canal outside. Some beers a bit warm but they’re cheap. V decent. One of the nicer Wetherspoons.
C. C.
Karolina was really great, felt like she knew us all before we come in the vuene, she drive us into new beers and spirits and wow i am italian and had a wonderful pizza suggest by her. Strongly reccomend the lady, a real pro! Salim at the door was very polite and really helpful, cannot wait fo come back!
C. F.
Finally happy to see Ice Wharf back open. Bit of a wait - 10-15 mins. But service was pretty quick :) ordering from the app is super efficient.
N. P.
Food was good, location was great , staff was friendly but our tables were not clean and were quite dirty with some crumbs and stains on the seating.
L. S.
This wetherspoon place located in Camden is a convenient place where to spend a night drinking with reasonable prices. Many tables inside.
r. b.
Covid safe - great breakfast - you definitely feel safe here - tables clean - you have to enter into one door via security who will take your details for track and trace - a typical wetherspoons but great location right on the Camden locks - staff were friendly helpful and knowledgeable a great experience
A. L.
Close to Camden Market! Perfect place for a nice traditional English Breakfast, even nice lunch! Is big, has a beautiful view, beautiful and well-kept bathrooms!
K. R.
Nice place for drinks and also for eat some fast food
V. P.
Cheap pub food. Nice service..
Obviously, little bit crowded during lunch hours but it is a great choice if you don't want to spend a huge amount of money on Camden Market's food.
Nice place to come to grab a bite or to have some beers with friends and colleagues
M. K.
It very good, food is lovely, very clean too the environment
G. S.
Nice pub, probably one of the nicest wetherspoons I've been too.
R. W. B.
Food is produced en mass... If you like cheap you'll get that... If you like good, perhaps go somewhere else. Atmosphere was nice.
D. P.
The pub sit right by the Camden locks , nice outside area, so you can sit and watch the boats go through the locks typical wetherspoons
M.
Very cheap, very nice cocktails. Food is not super good, but it's nice enough and fills an empty stomach.
S. N.
Spoons next to the canal in Camden which is a good stop before going on to jazz cafe. This isn't a place for real ale drinkers as it seems to be aimed at a younger crowd. Possibly the worst kept beers I have encountered in a spoons. However, the facilities were up to standard.
L. W.
The cooked breakfasts were brilliant! Service was great and really quick. You also don't have to walk up loads of stairs to get to the toilets!
B. P.
Just had a lovely all day brunch and really enjoyed it and also at a great price
W. C.
Love this place! Great to enjoy a nice meal or just to drink something. Good prices and perfect location. Kids friendly :-)
M. S.
The place is clean, looks nice and the prices are really good! The service is great, because you get your table number, order in the cash, pay, get the drinks and fhe food is the only thing delivered at the table. Good beer and all the food we tasted was really nice! Best choice in Camden Town!
k. b.
A great budget pub to visit when in Camden Town and even more brilliant when the sun is out. Fantastic views of the lock. Had to wait a bit to be serve, but this is understandable given that it was busy and that it’s table service only. I highly recommended this place. Must try.
a. b.
It's a nice, sprawling place by the Regents Canal in the heart of Camden. One of the better Wetherspoons and well staffed so not a lot of waiting. The only thing that let it down for me was that during the restrictions there was no real enforcement of track and trace or mask wearing on entry and during movement inside the place. May have just caught it on a bad day.
p. t.
I went there after the restrictions were lifted and i had a very good experience . The security staff outside were really friendly and helpful, guiding people and offering tables . I was really amazed how proactive and nice they were!
I would like also to point out that the location it's probably one of the best in Camden , also how i loved the layout outside, the tables and seats conveniently placed under the beautiful trees.
Wetherspoons isn't fancy but have some great venues with friendly staff!
S. H.
Nice Wetherspoons on the Camden lock. Lovely outside area . Good prices etc . Regular to this pub :)
O. C.
Very nicely kept ale, served with a handle ... Top marks for the REAL pub feel.
S. C.
Lovely place, very cheap drinks and food highly recommend 👍💜
L. H.
Visited during an extremely busy time (good Friday) and the pub was packed inside and out. However the bar was still very well manned and getting a drink was very quick considering. Food was standard for a wetherspoons, and I particularly enjoyed thier bubblegin drink. Toilets as well were surprisingly clean and well stocked for the busyness.
Y. B.
Best music & vibe out of all spoons I've ever been too!
c. v.
Brilliant location, great selections of food a drinks.
The food we had was nice too.
Nearly all of the staff was friendly apart from one who throw our plates on the table & walked off as I was saying thank you. She didn't even look at us. We were shocked. One staff came & asked how's everything. We told her what had happened & asked her if that staff was ok, she said yes she o.k. and She apologise on her behalf.
I won't let that 1 staff put me off from coming here again.
T. A.
Superb place if you manage to grab a table on a sunny day. Service is fast and food is great.
D. B.
Decent weather spoons, spacious outside and spacious inside as well. Food and drinks are typically cheap, the only frustrating thing was that most of the ales were not available. Seats and interior and beer garden are well maintained and kept clean. The views are decent as well.
R. F.
Really nice wetherspoons I'd say one of the more trendy ones I've been in and I've been in a lot lol. Right on the canal in good old Camden market absolutely loved it. Very busy though so if your looking for peace and quiet it's not here.
L. L.
Good place. Was a tad busy, but it was a late Saturday night, and the weather was good. Good selection of drinks, too. Cannot fault. Would need to go back in a calmer day to try food, though.
e. g.
It was good but they didn't have much for vegetarian and what they have It wasn't available ,and quite cold
A. B.
Nipped in for breakfast before the Leicester v man city community shield match at Wembley and was fairy impressed with everything about the pub.The pub is in a lovely location overlooking the water , sadly on the day I visited it was chucking it down of rain so had to stay indoors. Food was hot and delicious and service was very prompt. Will definitely return next time I am in London.
K. C.
Nice wetherspoons pub reasonably priced food and drink good outside area.
N. P.
Food was good, location was great , staff was friendly but our tables were not clean and were quite dirty with some crumbs and stains on the seating.
J. G.
Solid British pub chain. Good prices. Daily food specials. Come here for fish and chips, British ales and Full English breakfast. Also have Steak and Kidneu pies + other Brit favourites. …
L. T.
Great food 😋 steaks were excellent 👌
A. E.
The place is good for friends reunion, good for drink up and eating. Good meeting place for dating and what have you.
S. B.
A lovely and scenic place to visit.
M. C. D. S. C.
Nice place by the canal, live music around. What a good atmosphere..totally recommended.
S. K.
From the App starter option had been removed. Wanted to have a nachos as a starter but was no option for had to order separate. Ordered pizzas for main. My pepperoni pizza came out without pepperoni, had to send it back. Got back same pizza, was clearly obvious as fresh ruccola was dry like a herb on it, after baking this pizza again with pepperoni. Was full of fat on top. Both order came out in 10 mins, so waiting time was quite good, comparing with fact place was on full was hard to get a sit at Saturday afternoon.
s. k.
In the heart of camden twon , you can find this whetherspon branch with nice view with river, you can set inside or outside enjoy good whether and beautiful tree and river you have , the price is cheap but alittel expensive from another Wetherspoons.
a. t.
Lovely pub, didnt like the vegan burger kinda dry.
R. M.
Food standard same as normal spoons, food and drinks were mostly delivered quickly.
S. G.
Cheap place, about 25 pound for 2 people (including first, main, and alcohol). Big and good dishes, I would return to eat here any day. Very recommended for tourists.
M. G.
One of my favourite W, Pub, located by a canal, when the weather is nice you can sit outside and watch the lively world of Camden go by, the trendy design, look and feel fixs in well with the Camden vibe, l believe its one of the few Wetherspoon which plays background music, this branch of W is always bizzin the crowd is a real mix of people which creates amazing atmosphere, l always have a good evening here, plus you can't find any pub/bar in Camden which sells drinks at these prices,
M. M.
Lovely place, right next to the canal and across from Candam Market.
Staff where very helpful and polite,
J. K.
Food is really good and not too expensive, neither are the drinks, good location but couldn't sit outside due to it being very hot and absolutely packed but got a lovely seat overlooking the lock
R. A.
Nice place to eat, drink and having fun, with a good and very fast service. Beware, for food you need to download their app and order through it.
D. F.
Very nice and cheap place to eat and have a drink. Good quality of food and access for wheelchair
T. A.
Food not bad but the plates smelled like they had been stacked wet was off putting sorry
w. r.
Nice bar in a lively area. Crosse keys in central London had beer at £1.99 a pint. Cheaper than up North. Very nice views too.
D. G.
A nice pub with a vibrant atmosphere, Friendly staff and in a good location
T. C. C.
Its a spoons in camden food and booze aint bad too nice place to people watch as well friendly staff as well
B. M.
Great location, obviously it gets busy right next door to Camden Market but the handy (if totally antisocial) app which lets you order food and drinks to your table without going to the bar removes the need to actually queue. Food was decent Wetherspoons standard and arrived promptly despite the queues. It all helped to cure 4 hangovers on a Saturday morning.
R. S.
Nice atmosphere good position cheap drinks polite service
I. B.
Good prices, good pub, and great staff.
Really enjoyed our lunchtime drink here!
A. E.
The place is good for friends reunion, good for drink up and eating. Good meeting place for dating and what have you.
A. M.
Very busy place but nice atmosphere. Not as expensive as other pubs in area . Bouncers very professional . My friend loved the lights
K. C.
Nice wetherspoons pub reasonably priced food and drink good outside area.
J. C.
Nice atmosphere great prices but I was very disappointed thatbot was not made out of ice, I did go on a very hot day so maybe it had all melted so I will return during winter to experience the ice warf at its most extravagant. But I will make sure I bring gloves as I don't want to get frost hte
D. F.
Very busy city centre pub, good selection of real ales.
r. h.
Mugs not for sale, scrunched up salt, passive aggressive bar person but all over a Lovely atmosphere
D.
Quite a few items out of stock on the food menu. Good table clearing, but tables could do with a good wipe down, very sticky.
K. H.
Well run, not bad..
R. G.
Great location in Camden, reasonable prices but sometimes very crowded.
w. t.
Great location, nice food, brilliant service, cheap prices. Beer is fine. Love to enjoy my drink n food out there at canal.
T. T.
Spacious bar/restaurant with alfresco seatings by the river
Beer off the tap selections are surprisingly limited.
Overall its a good bar hangout place
L. d. W.
Great place to have a drink by the canal, see some boats go past! Usually very busy though! So much good street food around too!
C. V.
Very tasty burgers. It's usually crowded. Fair prices
R. g.

Great place.Really friendly staff and the hot chocolate was the best i have tasted!
K. G.
Smelled bad in places! Food and drink was good though. Very busy on a Wednesday evening.
A. B.
Nipped in for breakfast before the Leicester v man city community shield match at Wembley and was fairy impressed with everything about the pub.The pub is in a lovely location overlooking the water , sadly on the day I visited it was …

2 visits to two Wetherspoons on one day for refreshments and nature calls, says it all really, they are where you need them.
N. G.

M. M.
Friendly staff and a good selection of food and drinks at very low prices compared to other pubs in the area.
P. A.
Does what it says on the box, good food and drinks at affordable prices
I. W.
Food was okay, my counterpart was just annoyed that the door right by us never closed when people used it so it was always too cold for her.
R. R. (.
They do a great breakfast here, and locks are a nice backdrop, a little off the beaten track, but an interesting location in the heart of Camden Town.
S. B.
Amazing location, great view with food and drinks at very reasonable price!
E. G.
Best wetherspoons pub in London. Great service and lovely surroundings.
E. S.
Great vibe and place with friendly staff & food. Much better now that they have more space between tables and the plastic frames between the tables, people were too close together before! Sometimes the drink orders are wrong but otherwise great place.
s. w.
Very good service at this pub never has a issue was a bit busy when you wasn't allowed in outside space could have been a bit bigger but did manage to get a table within 30 mins
P. S.
One of the best value pubs in Camden Town with a great setting. Foods not bad.
P. S.
One of the best wetherspoon I have been. Food is good as well the service is best i will say..
D. A.
Got to table then was asked for my order during the order I was asked card or cash.. then asked to pay b4 I got anything delivered to table..but nice ok food ..efficiency is the big deal ..
H. D.
A nice wetherspoons in a lovely spot. Food was nice and always reasonable. Quite a busy venue and can sometimes get a bit rowdy.
A. B.
Spacious interior, modern decor, drinks were cheap and it's great being able to view Camden Lock through the massive windows.
B. R.
It's was nice apart from being unable to order burgers, fish, chips or onion rings on the app, even though people were able to order them at the counter
K. M.
Very hard to find. Not easily accessible but enjoyable and value for money. Great staff
d. w.
Great pub and food . Staff friendly.
E. M.
No matter where you go, you always known what you're getting at Spoons. Good value Full English.
S. O.
Regents canal by Camden Lock. Lively location with lots of food outlets
G. W.
Stopped in for an early breakfast. Nice and roomy pub. Friendly staff. Lovely view.
B. K.
Friendly lovely staff and good cheap booze
s. s.
I like this pub ... very big .. by the river... music is not laud usually and big menu... food is not the best l have had in pubs but ok ... overall l raccomend it .. l like the table seating style...
P. B.
Not bad but very busy. Keep your wallet and phones close to you.
M. H.
Easily one of my favourite Whetherspoons probably because of the location
D. W.
A typically comfortable and value for money Wetherspoons by the lock in the heart of colourful Camden. A great place to enjoy a good meal or a value for money drink.
M. N.
Great place, nice food, friendly staff
I. M.
Nice bar at camden lock. Pretty with the lights and the water
J. B.
Excellent meal there.Very clean as well.
T. M.
Yeah friendly atmosphere. Quick service and very peaceful sitting down by the canal
P. M.
Great food clean toilets all around Nice place to be recommend. Very busy.
T. F.
The selection of beer on tap was not mind-blowing, but it was acceptable. Food selection was good, and there were vegan options for my friend too! Great place, good for groups! Oh, and ordering & paying via app is so refreshing and modern. Loved the experience!
A. R.
Very big, very busy but the staff were on top of their game.
L. T.
Great food 😋 steaks were excellent 👌
S. H.
Arguably one of the best JD Wetherspoon pubs in the capital
J. H.
Packed out as it's mother's day so long wait for food over 50 min.
Still a well positioned spoons!!!!
S. C.
It's a wetherspoons, so you will get the kind of "ambience" there that you would get at any wetherspoons, nice location though visually
M. C.
Nice and busy atmosphere cheap beer.
M. K.
Breathtaking views on Camden lock, amazing customer service! Many thanks goes to Ben who made this all happen!
B. H.
Great prices for a London pub with a nice view of the canals
D. H.
Good pub, good food n beer
D. C.
Excellent service and food. Visited on a very busy Thursday evening but service was excellent
B. P.
Better than average spoons. Great for a hangover.
S. P.
Small selection of real ales although those there were well kept. Bar service slow at peak times so using the App is a good idea. Good food served promptly, clean toilets and friendly staff. Visited on a rainy December evening but a warm lunchtime overlooking the canal would be superb.
A. D.
Typical wetherspoon, busy and no seating but it was raining
D. C.
Off da hook
A. S.
After spending 5 days in London, their drinks were the most affordable I could find, and delicious, too. Good variety of craft beers and cocktails, nice atmosphere and outside area directly near the water. Didn't have food there, tho. The waiters constantly looked out for us. Would visit again and recommend.
M. A.
Absolutely fantastic place to eat drink and be merry. Staff were brilliant, friendly, chatty and big smiles. From the moment you arrive, to the moment you leave, the Ice Wharf never failed to please.
Goto to the bar, and YOU will get served within 1 minutes, if not within seconds. The place was packed, But the staff, never looked panicked or stressed. I cannot stress enough how good the staff are.
Great beer, great pricing. 10 out 10. See you again soon.
d. j.
Great location right on the canal.
Quick service.
M. D. B.
Gets busy, but staff are great, service is quick. Apart from the local nut cases around. Its a nice weatherspoons plus the toilets are not halfway to heaven (they are on the ground floor here)
N. T.
Nice atmosphere outdoors. The service was easy and quick as it was all via an app making ordering for big groups quick. The burger and garlic bread were reasonably priced. The blue lagoon cocktail i would recommend and get 2 pitchers for bigger groups come out cheaper then individual drinks.
H. S.
Spacious, great service, tried to order drink without food from app, got waiting staff explain, food mandatory. Mate dropped wallet and it was handed in. An extra point for that
A. C.
Even though it was very busy the staff were very good plenty of them . cheap drinks and food .The food we had was very tasty
R. F.
Good value but can be a little slow when busy when ordering through the app.
D. R. M.
Excellent place with great cocktails and cocktail pitchers. Ambience of place is so inviting that we ended up staying for far longer than planned. Small eats are good. Overall food choices are good to go with the drinks. Must go in your Camden visit. They have both outdoor and indoor sitting
a. b.
Staff and meals where fine but a bit rundown and dirty
S. T.
Cheap food and alcohol (for London), a good place to stop if you're in a group. Often very busy, on a hot day if you can get seating outside you'll want to stay for ages to make good use of the venue. Seating is hard to come by, though you can be lucky depending on the time you visit. Nice spot by the canal, good for people watching and near to the markets.
The music inside is quite loud and varies in style depending on the time of day/ day of the week. In short its always one of my stops whenever I go to Camden.
H.
It's rare to find a lot of outside seats in London and I was really happy to eat lunch at the Ice Wharf. The place is lively, and it's so close to Camden Market. We ordered via the Whetherspoon app which turned out to be really efficient.
The burger I ordered was unfortunately very plain and dry but my friend ordered chicken wings that were delicious. The toilets and bathroom were all clean and nice! The food was at a very reasonable price so I might come back during my next trip, but I'll avoid my chicken burger that was difficult to cut due to dryness. The beer was delicious !

Best spoons in london
P. R.
On fridays amazing deal on fish and chips must try....
J. H.
Excellent selection of draught beers, ales and lagers and a huge variety of any sort of drinks. A nice outdoor seating area in the heart of Camden. My favorite place to go for a drink in the summer.
m. c.
Busy on hot days but during Euro2020
Place is quiet.
Say hello to Maria the order taker when at your seat.
S. G.
When this place gets busy you can't breathe inside it's so hot. There's no air conditioning. The security guards could also turn down a notch in being rude when it's absolutely unnecessary when you have well dressed and behaved guests coming to your venue.
A. R. S.
Fine spoons type service smoking area pretty small for the location but over all quite nice with a loch side veiw
X. G.
Great beer variety, not to expensive, and locate right next to the Camden Market. Was a bit crowded on a saturday night.
F. M.
The location is one of my favorite in London. During the summer you can have a drink outside and chill with friends while having a cigarette. I came here with my family and staff asked us to leave at 9:30 because my brother was under 18.
Prices are super convenient and you can book food at your table through the app avoiding the queue. During the weekend they put music :-)
m. w.
Customer service was very good today, especially from Joe on his first shift.
Joe was very attentive and I think he should be promoted very soon.
G. A. G.
Great pub!..was so busy when we visited for lunch!..but a friendly & efficient team felt with everyone well..great interior & building..well worth seeing!
T. W.
The best spoons in Britain. Cracking service and friendly staff. The view is absolutely lovely too, a hidden gem.
J.
Great location by the canal in Camden. Service was excellent considering how busy it was. Order arrived promptly and was well cooked. One disappointment was the tomato tasted funny. Will definitely go again.
S. X.
One of the biggest spoons I have ever been to. Really like this location as it is so spacious and full of air and includes a great outdoor seating area right by the water. Food is good as always in spoons. Usually come here for the drink prices as it is probably one of the cheapest places to have a few pre drinks at and is in such a good location close to other bars and pubs. Also open quite late on the weekends. Definitely an above average Wetherspoons!
T. N.
Nice food good prices but very busy and hard to get a table
I. P.
Great venue right next to the canal and lock. Good value as you expect from Weatherspoons.
L. N.
Great location by Camden, straight on the canal - looks super lovely.
Good variety of food, especially deserts - moreover, you see amounts of calories for each dish.
Food itself is good, prices are fair.
The only thing - to order, you need either to queue quite some time at the bar, or to download an app, attach you credit card to it and order and pay with this app. Not the best way, especially if you are in roaming.
4 our of 5.
A. A.
Nice place in Camden Town to have a few drinks in the pub. With large indoor and a outdoor seating area next to the canals. Down side after certain time you have to pack up your things from outside to reline up to get back in the venue in the evening. Best is you can down load a app to get you drinks to your table
K. J.
Great atmosphere, great prices & service.
S. P.
Not the usual Wetherspoons and that's a good thing.
Good service and if outside a great part of Camden to sit and have a drink or two.
M. T.
Good range of beers good service.
J. W.
They had a good selection of beers and helpful staff. I had fish and chips which were quite good. I spent a couple hours here and enjoyed reading a book. I felt welcome to stay as long as I wanted as it was raining!
N. M.
Living in London I go to Wetherspoons quite often so I know what food and drinks to expect. Last Sunday I had 9 friends visiting. I was expecting it to be too busy in the evening for all of us to find space but decided to try. Big thanks to all the staff, especially Jenny who helped us find a place first for 4 people, then the booth and in the end got us the big table upstairs. Very friendly and helpful staff by the counter as well. Lovely Sunday!
M. C.
A place full of life, full of nice people. Sushi Salsa has helpfull staff and the sushi 🍣 are delicious 😋. Thank you!
K. W.
Fantastic service and lovely area and views. Went there for breakfast with my baby, food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. Breastfeeding friendly. I then decided to go back for lunch with companions and the were significantly busier, yet were still just as friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend
L. P.
My friends and I went here after seeing Magic Mike on a Thursday night. Avoid if you're looking to keep up the buzz and dance your heart out after the show.
There wasn't much atmosphere, no music and it could do with a fresh carpet and lick of paint but the punters were pleasant enough so if you just want a quiet drink I'd recommend it. Although, they close pretty early 11:30pm/12am.
R. S.
Fab place great atmosphere very good food
P. B.
Visited on a Sunday morning for breakfast during covid restrictions. Very clean, plenty of sanatisers. Good choice on the menu. Very handy for Camden Market, which is just yards away.
S. M.
Good food and drink at great prices; £34 for three meals with drinks in London can't be bad. Went at about 6pm on a Tuesday and we got in easy enough with a queue of about three groups before us at the door.
L. T.
Surprisingly good for a cost effective pub. friendly staff, good location, fair price.
A. H.
Food is wetherspoon food. Had a problem with the food with it missing items and was put through wrong at the till. They said to pay extra me and my husband explained calmly why we wouldn't they got more annoyed at us but eventually got the right thing, even though the cheese was missing. Was so much hassle!! Nice to see they had Old Rosie cider though
I.
Friendly staff and big selection of Menu, a decent choice to take friends for a after work drink or weekends
M. R. V.
Perfect food and beers
S. A.
Superb selection of coffee and polite service. Good value for money. It's a bit of a secret hideaway for Camden and I'm not telling anyone about it. In life Serendipity is best..happy to those that find this gem :)
G. R.
Went in after boomtown after missing my bus. The staff accommodated all of us smelly broken humans and weren't at all pi**ed off that there was muddy bags and boots all over the joint! The food was well cooked and the beer was tasty. Just what I needed. 🤙🏼🍻 I'll be in again next year!
J. D.
Probably the best Wetherspoons in London. Fabulous location on the canal in Camden. Nice and bright interior (better than the dark caverns of many converted cinemas and theatres) and the usual great selections of beers. Unusually large number of staff, although bar service is a bit odd (paid wildly different prices for the same beer within an hour). Would recommend ordering on the app because the staff seemed to rush those out.
G.
Great food and atmosphere!
D. C.
Large pub with plenty of seating. The wait to order was not very long on a busy day which was good. The menu is quite extensive and covers a lot of popular food from burgers to curry depending on the day. The food was good value and tasty, no complaints at all.
P. B.
Nice place. But unfortunately on the day there were too many football fans in there.
F. P.
Cheap and nice, service was really good
D.
Great pub. Great food.
D.
Visited last month, great atmosphere good view over the river took a while to be served but was very busy so understandable.great selection of food and drinks
M. M.
very fast service and nice people working here will recommend to others anting to have a drink
C. C.
Nice but not excellent.
N. g.
Lovely spacious place to go on a friday night nice ambience. Good food, variety of ales to try but did not do simple cocktails other than that prompt service from back of the bar.
The other service that was very impressive was that they have a clean washroom and a washroom attendant just like cruise liners
A. J.
This pub is situated near the canal at Camden opposite the Market. Has a good and lively atmosphere with lots of seating. Bar service was very responsive and was able to deal with large groups effectively.
K. M.
Gets incredibly busy when the sun is out. Standard spoons offer. Mostly pretty speedy, decent service. Once you get a table - use their app. Better than waiting at the bar
J. B.
It's a Wetherspoons so not going to be fine dining but it's nice inside and out. The staff that served us were good and the loos were clean. Beer and food great nice hot chips. Everything as always pretty cheap
L. P.
One of the better wetherspoons I've been too
K. B.
Good enought, nothing left to say
M. J.
Had a wonderful Saturday afternoon here. Close to Camden market so had a shop first. Then went on the musical boat. This was great. Went up as far as London zoo and back. The singer was good and since the rest of the passengers got off half way through we had the boat to ourselves. Had breakfast in the Wetherspoon which wasn't so good but the toilets were ok.
t. a.
The great thing about a weatherspoons pub is its all so cheap. Four of us ate and myself I had the rump steak with a pint of bud light for £11.50 enjoyed it thoroughly although the wait was over an hour. Had one round of drinks first which took over 20mins to come. Lack of staff on the floor, also not knowledgeable with no check backs to ask if everything was ok with the food. Its quicker to order your food on the app. Very rude bouncers on the door which makes the ambience even worse when you go in. If you want cheap and no thrills and don't mind waiting this is for you.
G. M. A.
Very strict about ID, even for people clearly over 25. Remember it or they will definitely turn you away regardless! Otherwise a pretty reliable Spoons, service is great if you order via the app and it saves fighting for attention at the bar, which gets pretty busy. It has room for large groups, but would definitely be too noisy for smaller meet ups.
B. G.
Got to love a Wetherspoon's for lunch 😁
L. R.
Fabulous value lunch in a great location.
C. S.
Good selection of food and drinks.Fantastic atmosphere specially during the summer
C. S.
Classic. It's spoons but it's on Camden lock. Never a quiet moment in this place. Table service is surprisingly quick and accurate every single time. I've never had a problem here over the years I've been going intermittently when I'm forced to venture north of the divide.
M. J.
Great atmosphere, speedy food and of course very wallet friendly prices.
S. B.
A lovely and scenic place to visit.
S. A. P.
Very popular so was very busy. But the food arrived quick and was delicious. Drinks and food prices inexpensive.
K. B.
Reasonable priced food and drink, lovely to sit outside on a hot day overlooking the canal, nice decor and clean, however can get extremely packed, especially at weekends
K. M.
Always love it here, good food at reasonable prices Thanks
F.
Amazing food low cost
g. w.
Great on a sunny day to go and sit by the lock, reasonable prices. Typical Wetherspoons really.
C. H.
Standard lovely atmosphere and service as most Wetherspoons. Food was great and quickly delivered even during a busy time. The only thing to say is that it gets very busy around 5pm so would not recommend for people who need to sit down as available seats can be hard to find!
P. O.
Nice place, staff was pleasant and beverage were quite nice too
B. C.
It's a Wetherspoons you can't go wrong
C. C.
Never can go wrong here. Great location, plenty of room outside.
C.
Quick service, good variety (but could be better- no vegan dessert), friendly staff. Definitely one of my favourites in London.
C. D.
Very comfortable place and unlimited coffee for 99p for those who are not hungry
M. T.
Typical Wetherspoons pub. There isn't much difference between one and another. Being located on the Regents Canal in Camden with the Stables Market directly opposite ensures that this pub gets very busy. I have given a three star rating here simply because we only stayed for one drink so I didn't really have a chance to see what the staff were like or judge the character of the place. It probably is the cheapest place to drink in Camden though unless you buy a few cans at the off-licence and sit by the canal.
F. L.
Spacious, good amount of seating with canal-side benches too. Being popular, this pub can gets quite busy and can be hard to find a seat - especially at weekends and summer months.
Standard Wetherspoon's affair means cheaper drinks and foods being served until 23:00 (albeit to a so-so quality).
J. D.
Good food and friendly staff, good value too. The only complaint is the pro-Tory slogans I saw on the poster boards. Political statements do not belong in pubs no matter for what party. Not a reflection on the hardworking staff but the arrogant company boss.
K. S.
OK for a wetherspoon. Full of teens dressed up to the nines which is odd for a wetherspoons but it is cheap in there so makes sense. Drinks are reasonable with cocktails at 17 for 2 jugs...not a huge amount of alcohol in them though. Don't go to the bar you will wait ages. I really recommend downloading the app and ordering from the table. My friend went to the bar and all staff were congregated up one end. My friend mentioned this to one of the staff who said you can see how busy we are..do one! Not great customer service especially as we were spending quite a bit in there. All good if you diy order.
M. T.
Standard Wetherspoon's to be fair. Nice location, same sort of pricing as you'd expect for a spoons, but hard to get a table in busy periods as it's in a particularly busy area. Always end up here when I go Camden market mind you!
a.
Took over an hour to get a pint. Waste of time.
I. H.
Decent enough for a Spoons. Quick service and friendly staff. Hot chocolate machine was broken though :/
E. S.
Nice for a for a quick drink and a cheap bite to eat on a sunny day if you're passing by the Lock. Obviously better stuff nearby but it does the job. Very good range of beer and fair food for the price. Pretty nice for a 'spoons.
A. H.
Like your typical Wetherspoons... Good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Clean facilities and an excellent location.
K. B.
A very busy Wetherspoons - you often have to be quick to get a table but situated in a lovely area of Camden. If you're lucky and catch London on a good day you can get your pints delivered to you at your picnic table right by the canal at their outdoor area
R. F.
All day breakfast. The food is not bad, the staff service is quick and kind, and the drinks are regular.
M. N.
Exactly what you'd expect from a Wetherspoons. Cheap enough drinks and food isn't bad quality either. Would recommend heading over the road to Camden Lock Markets where the street food stalls are much better quality and more interesting.
A good place to meet up with family and friends and spend a few hours.
B.
A meeting place and a great venue for a hoolie!
L. a. R.
Good for a cheaper drink, it's a Wetherspoon after all, when in Camden with a nice location next to the lock. Usually very busy, so get there early if you want a seat. Nothing to make it stand out from other pubs, typical Wetherspoon really
J. C.
Friendly staff. Lots of space. Nice decor. Quick food service.
J. V.
Great place with nice history about the ice trade, with a lovely terrace overlooking the Canal, next time the romantic bridge at Camden Lock. Good food for a good price. They alsof have menu's with a drink included. My favourite.. lamb shank with a pint of punk ipa, for only 10,50 Pound 👍
H. R.
Great location and cheap drinks. Plenty of staff, and orders were taken and paid for quickly, but the staff seemed to take forever to actually make the drinks! Service was very quick when only ordering bottles though, especially through the app
D. Y.
Good service. Plenty of places to charge your phone . So very handy for when you're out and about .
What annoyed me was some of the staff that was off duty were in getting drunk and were very very loud . Didn't have any consideration of people around them. Other than that food was good and service. So no complaints
O. B.
Your avarage Weatherspoon's. Very roomy though, beer is decent and not stale, and the fry up is passable.
J. F.
As Whetherspoons go, this one is one of the better ones. Good price for a beer, large bar with fast service, large smoking area.
It gets very busy on weekends though and security restricts people trying to enter.
C. S.
All the Wetherspoon standards ok, about the service was quick but we received twice a wrong order, before in a burger and after we decided the order a dessert, also that one wrong.
By the way, very spacious and with a lot seating spots.
c.
Its a weather spoons, what's more to be said. We enjoy coming here, majority of staff are desent. The security staff are rude and obnxious.
Starting to look a little shabby and I think would be good to have bit of a overhaul since it is often used.
Right next to the Camden lock, good views of lock from outside drinking area (small).
J. H.
Lovely cosy Camden weatherspoons
s. s.
An amazing place in the Camden Lock market! Very huge pub with several choices of beers and food! A great location near the river where to seat and watch it finding your relax mood! Very busy in the weekends and bank holidays!!
K. o.
Lovely and clean and friendly staff
N. F.
Typical Wetherspoons, you know what your getting.
L. “. S.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.. Social distancing is also in place, which is monitored by the staff well
A. E.
Really shocked about app. After 4 min I get food to the table! Impressive
Quality is really good and staff ore very friendly! Next time I will be in Camden definitely I will come back
M.
Very busy. Had to order our drinks and food online. Lovely food 😋
C. E.
Nice place to eat; try as well the lockside over the bridge
A. R.
The Great prices of a Wetherspoons right on the Camden Lock in Camden market.
R. H.
Typical Weatherspoons, decent breakfast and coffee at reasonable price especially in Camden right next to Camden lock and has outside area by the Canal if there's decent weather it's nice outside
M. G.
Excellent customer service and friendly staff
T. T.
Great food .good and friendly staff.
R. P.
Cheap, fresh food and beer, quick service, clean toilets - the place is unbelievably good value. Their 'Beer & Burger Offer' is a really good deal - the freshly made gourmet burger with an extra beef burger patty and a pint of 1664, came to £8.40; a pint of Premium Guest Ale was only £2.65! Highly recommended.
A. F.
Big space. In the heart of Camden. It
S. T. (. V. R. E.
I had my staff Christmas lunch here and everything was great. Everybody got their meal in time. A bit of confusion getting everybody's drinks right but we had party of about 30 persons. Overall not bad and a good evening.
F. K.
No one weaes masks even the manager and stqff. So be carefull.
R. K.
Lovely place and buggy friendly the top floor, we ordered throgh the weatherspoons application and they brought us all our food and drinks without us leaning the table. I really recommend!!
M. J.
Great place!
D. S.
Great value pub very spacious, good atmosphere and nice polite friendly staff. A perfect meet-up place. I'd say it could be a little cleaner, but overall a good place.
S. D.
Nice location with loads of space both in and outside, with a garden facing the river. Prices are very low, and quality is on the same end unfortunately but if you need a refresher you can consider The Ice Wharf as a place to stop by. Despite its size, being very close to Camden market makes this pub very busy at all times, packed with locals and tourists.
G. H.
One if the better JDW experiences. Often drop in for a big breakfast. Some staff are good, others a little curt. 1st class range of beer and wine though. Food is also good. Great location
S. N.
Quite busy, but when you find a place it's preety sweet, might be slightly more pricey than other spoons but that's normal it's pretty central its what you would expect, enjoyed it though 👍
S. A.
I've been coming to this pub more than 10years so put 3 stars but recently received horrible service by a staff called Jamilla, with dreadlocks. She seems like she hates the job so much, then it's better to leave asap for her own sake and for the customers. Plus this rediculous place of toilet roll...
S. 3.
Excellent pub great large space. Sometimes too loud
J. M.
Friendly staff, nicely spaced tables and clean loos
S. T.
The Ice Wharf has some of the best people watching spots in Camden. Situated on the canal banks, watching the boats and the locks both offer entertainment whilst you work your way through the variety of drinks on offer. The food is reliably mediocre - as it is at all Weatherspoons - and far safer than the untested waters of pubs elsewhere. There is no deafening music, and the pub is set out in a spacious fashion that prevents any tables from feeling too cramped even when the pub is busy.
This is one of my favourite Weatherspoons that I visit often and would recommend it as a meeting place or eating place when with friends in the area.
D. B.
The security at the front are very pedantic and honestly not the most welcoming. Once you mange yo get in it's a nice little spot. Had the most GORGEOUS sirloin steak...so delicious that I'm willing to brace those horrid bouncers!
A. M.
A very spacious pub serving a huge range of drinks which are perfectly well kept and at a very reasonable price. The pub was clean and well occupied with an interesting interior. The staff were chatty and helpful.
d. b.
Done many a 'Spoons' but this is by a country mile the coolest, most impressive location! Hip Camden town by the canal, get a place to sit if you're feeling lucky and pay a slight premium for your tipple, but a great London experience.
D. B.
I've been to this bar many times over the years, including using it as a venue for many gatherings. It's in a great location and has a large open planned layout. Food and Drinks prices are among the cheapest in the area and there is a large selection to choose from.
The bar has a very strict photo ID policy in the evenings, which they say is to keep out potential trouble makers as everyone's ID is scanned into a machine which then is used to match up CCTV footage with anyone misbehaving, and have to say it seems to work. Never once seen any kind of trouble in this bar.
K. R.
Your average spoons in a slightly higher price range of London, same standard food and quality of service from members of staff, tables were clean and orders arrived in good time
J. B.
Very busy.not suprised cheap prices
A. R.
Very busy but drinks where fast coming and staff were lovely
A. E.
Quite a nice pub in london. The service is great, the prices are excellent and the area is pretty! Great night out for people of all ages in london.
J. Š.
Big pub with lot of types of beers, many people there, exists possibility to sit outside. Interesting process for entring inside with big black guy :-) But the place is safety and cheap. Thumbs up!
T. B.
It's on a great location, especially if you can get near to the lock and the sun is shining.
However the Pepsi was as weak as nats pee even without ice and the burgers were as dry as cardboard, I guess you get what you pay for!
Once it gets busy, using the app to order food and drinks was much easier than queuing at the bar but be prepared to wait for drinks to take 20-25 minutes so order the next round straight away.
M. C.
Good spoons! Amazing craft beer selection! Nice.
C. D.
Cheap and yummy with a cool view on the canal
M. C.
If you get there at 9-10 the queue is not long at all. Love the option to sit outside or inside. Usually nice trendy music and the atmosphere is very fun. Fav place
W. M.
Busy pub good prices
A. C.
One of my favourite Weatherspoons. Spacious, plenty of seating and an outside seating area right next to the Regents Canal, awesome on a hot day and a cold one. Great place for an average burger and okay food with a healthy selection of drinks too
R. C.
Very restless, large and loud pub with self-service, but very trendy and mixed people. The prices for beer are really good. Definitely worth a visit.
R. G.
One of the cheapest pubs around. Classic wetherspoons. Has a nice view over the river if you can catch spaces outside.
A. D. S. J. B.
Thank you to staff and management for maintaining a safe environment for all of us. The service is good, the beers are cold. Ten out of ten! You rock!
S. M.
Sitting outdoors was a great experience 💯💯
M. C.
Was disappointed that they were not doing Korma in curry club as my friend can only eat a korma curry so we ordered burger instead for her
H.
Really nice place for a night out, the view is lovely
P. N.
Very good Witherspoon pub which I visit often when I'm in Camden. After a nice response from a very pleasant bar supervisor regarding NE student promotion tickets I was refused permission to use them by a barman. Disappointing maybe to a language problem but anyway I will still continue to use this pub when in Camden and wherever there are Witherspoon pubs.
I. V.
Great quality craft beers. Places also provides great number of food to go along with it. There is a lot of space for a lot of people, so don't be discouraged to go on the weekend.
M. F. (. P.
Perfect place for a budget, good warm meal and fresh beer..it's everything you can expect from your trustworthy wetherspoon. Exactly 2 minutes walking distance from Camden market.
Highly suggested.
J. F.
Really nice place food and beers
R. R.
Excellent pub with great staff; nice friendly service. We go every fortnight. Only down is quite slow to get served at the bar. Toilets very clean. Thanks guys! :)
P. C.
Cheap and cheerful in London town. It's a spoons so you know what your going to get. It's in a great spot with indoor and outdoor areas.
Expect a queue at the bar but service is still swift and friendly.
M. H.
Decent, cheap Wetherspoons pub with reasonable selection of beer, although most of the good ones they have on tap tend to be unavailable. Good outdoor space to drink by the canal
T. C.
Nice Weatherspoons clean and friendly
T. D.
Enjoyed a wonderful meal here. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Arrived at a busy time so used the App to order food. Recommended for a very reasonably priced meal and drink in a comfortable setting.
A. N.
Nice place, friendly stuff!
