Wonderful pub. Got the Londoner pie. Absolutely delicious. The beef was so tender. Highly recommend it, if you can get it (I managed to get the last one of the evening).

❤️ Former Natwest bank, converted to a pub back in 1996.
.
Nowadays you can often find faint remnants that a building was once a pub, but it’s always nice to see when the conversion goes the other way. Positioned halfway between Pimlico & Victorian Tube stations you will find the @juggedharesw1 . As mentioned, this former bank turned pub was converted back in 1996 and what a beautiful place this is. The pub has an imposing Portland Stone facade with four columns and two metre high windows. Inside the grandeur continues with beautiful paintings, a massive ornate chandelier, stunning woodwork and who doesn’t like a red pub carpet. The service here was great too, really friendly and the manager took time to make sure my son and I were being looked after. Ok, the beer price was over the six quid mark but would happily pay that again. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, the pub wasn’t too busy at that time.
.
I must admit, I was in awe of how impressive this @fullers boozer is. I have been to a few bank to pub conversions and I must say that this Victoria pub made an impression on me, what an excellent pub.

Excellent location, fantastic atmosphere. Think....1930's prohibition era mafia boss hangout, and you've nailed it, albeit with a modern twist on music selection. Multiple beverage options exist, as well as cocktails and food, with pricing far below the area would suggest, seriously. The house Steak and ale dinner, coupled with a few house choice draught pints still barely toppled a modest 20 Quid. Offering up, in essence, far more bang-to-buck value at a historic location than any competing local venues can topple at far less historically classed establishments. Highly suggested if in the area and quite peckish.

Absolutely fantastic pub, thoroughly enjoyed and would most certainly recommend the Sunday roast, which was sublime. Great food and friendly staff made for an extremely pleasant experience.

This bustling pub provided our first meal in the UK, and what an appropriate introduction this was! Our server took great care of us. We were never kept wanting a drink and our food didn’t take long, either. My husband tried two beers while I had a Cornish cider from on tap. For my meal, I ordered 3 of the small plates: mozzarella and tomato salad (fresh ingredients and complemented everything else), Welsh rarebit with chutney (SO GOOD, and that chutney was divine), and one of their mini meat pies, steak and mushroom. My husband ordered the lamb pie, which was sublime thanks to the inclusion of mint—a combo I have read about but never had in America.

Went there for dinner and the food was outstanding! Had the pie with mash and gravy and must say I haven’t had one like this yet (not that I’ve eaten many, but it was the best one so far). We had to order at the bar, but the food arrived really quickly. Nice location and interior.
(“Only”) 4 stars because: I had to put the empty glasses from the previous guests away myself. Despite the food being amazing, I must say it‘s quite pricey.
But all in all, I’d recommend it 😊
M. P.
Great pub! Plenty of seating and screens for tv sports.
Fantastic food at great prices.
Would recommend.

High ceiling pub with beer garden near Victoria. Great service and food. Beers and ales pretty good too.

I would like to thank Elise and the entire Jugged Hare- Victoria team for helping us host a wonderful social hour for our London Office. Their team was incredibly friendly, accommodating and professional. Great drinks selection, food options ( veggie friendly) and music. Will definitely host more team meets here.
Thank you again!

Laid back wood panelled pub with a great garden. If booking with friends grab to he mezzanine floor it overlooks the whole ground floor and is a great space. Great service, very friendly.
N. M.
Great pub food & yummy cider on draft!
S. W.
Had a fantastic Xmas meal here Food was excellent service was brilliant and staff very hospitable. Whole experience was great for my friends and I after not meeting up since pandemic. Recommend highly
A.
Warm atmosphere, nice food, very clean pub.
Just one bus stop from Victoria train station, this pub is welcoming and the decoration makes it very charming.
I really enjoyed my meal, fair price for a tasty fish and chips. I noticed that the pub was very very clean; tables, chair and even the carpet, which is usually very difficult to keep in good condition, were well maintained.
S. G.
Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Booked a table for a 6 Nations Rugby game and had a very nice time.
M. B.
I've been in London for holidays for three days and went there twice to have dinner. The ambience is great and the staff really friendly and kind.
Great beers and the pies are *delicious*.
I highly recommend it, specially if you want to feel comfortable and have a good meal.
R. D.
A classic old London pub with good beer and friendly staff.
F.
Great looking an tasking food. Nice and calm place. Highly recommended.
I'll be back for sure 😂😁

Our first visit to a pub in the UK. Service was prompt & friendly, and the food was great! We chose from the tasting dishes - loved the scotch egg, crispy squid, steak pie, and fried haddock.
K. P. H.
Greeted with full Fuller's customer service, and had a great pint of frontier and a plant based burger which was promptly served and tasty.
If you are in London Victoria and want a drink and a bite to eat The Jugged Hare is the place to go 👍🏿. I am definitely coming back

One of my favorite meals in London. We were staying in the City of Westminster for seven days and I had used google maps to scope out several places for food and drink. The images of the pies paired with different ales intrigued me so I had picked this place as a destination. The Jugged Hare was everything I wanted it to be. Instead of a long established pub location it was originally a bank, with a very different facade. However, the interior was remodeled with lots of nice wood and uniquely includes a mezzanine over the bar, giving it a very nice space. There is also restaurant seating but my family and I chose to sit in the bar. The Flight of Pies (pictures included, they termed it the Pie tasting board) were delicious. I knew I would enjoy the steak and ale pie, but found I really loved the Stilton and sweet potato pie. I also enjoyed the parsley liquor as I rarely get a chance to have that in Texas, it was great with the chicken curry pie. They have a large selection of beer but I stuck with cask London Pride, which is something else I can't get in Texas.
As for prices, some of the other reviews I've seen have ranged everywhere from expensive to fair prices for the value, we were in vacation mode and paid little attention to pricing so I have little input on that except to say that it seemed typical of our trip. They did not have a kids menu so we ended up ordering the half pound burger for my 10 year old son, he ate the whole thing. My wife had the fish and chips and nodded approval. We walked back to our room a happy family. Great location. Great food. Great pub.
K. S.
Had a very nice evening at the Jugged Hare with a party of seven. The pie tasting board was absolutely delicious as was the fish and chips. Even though the bartender was alone we were served immediately and never had to wait longer for our food and drinks than a couple of minutes. And on top she was super friendly.

Great pub to go after work.
Good food and good selection of drinks.
Great staff too.

This is a great pub with friendly staff. They serve good beer and food. Well worth a visit.
M. B.
Delight! If you haven't been here yet, visit the place soon. Everything is top notch, from the food to the atmosphere in the room, thank you!
G. H.
Good pub. Ornate interior, guess it was a bank once. Staff very friendly, excellent service and I very much enjoyed my pie and chips.
P. D.
Nice traditional pub in Central London. Staff were really helpful. Good real ale and a great burger.
M. S.
Lovely staff, the food is very good and affordable. A wide range of nice beers. The place is very cozy, nicely decorated.
A. B.
Lovely friendly staff on the last day of outdoor seating only. Drinks were good other than the half full glass prosecco for the price of a bottle (the -1 star). Would recommend coming here. Toilets were fresh and clean. They have heaters in part of the patio as well as an awning covering half of it. Generally nice vibes.
D. T.
What a great venue! Any bub with a mezzanine rates for me! Great beer, great hosts, what more could you want? Lovely place to pop in and get a beer!
R. O.
Absolutely lovely pub; delicious food, good beer, friendly staff. Loved it!
A. S.
Worth a visit just to experience the classic English pub vibe, there is also a friendly and helpful staff and a fine selection of beers. Our orders of steak pie and fish and chips were very tasty. I would rate the neighborhood as pricy and the pub reflects this.
A. S.
Fantastic food, wonderful beer, and a very lovely staff all contributed to the best English birthday meal I could have asked for. Wonderful atmosphere full of life and laughter
J. C.
Really great to be back in this great pub. Great beer and friendly staff. Also has seating outside in garden too
J. D.
Lovely atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food. Would definately recommend
P. L.
Nice cosy pub. Good pie and mash
C. S.
If you like pies, this is the place for you. The beer is not too bad either - so, a piae and a pint? Jugged Hare here I come!
The service is quite good also
D. H.
Great location and selection of drinks and food. Good service!
M. T.
Very lovely pub, amazing atmosphere. And friendly staff.
A. P.
It was my first tme in the jugged hare!
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Will visit again.
J. F.
Really nice bar. Beer garden outside open till 9pm. Nice proper pub food at good prices. Pie and a beer deal at lunchtime mon-fri
S. H.
Excellent place. From out of town but felt like a local and treated like one. Steak and ale pie was awesome. Thank you
S. B.
Nice pub close to Victoria train station. Small outside space for drinking and dining. Prices were reasonable, for London anyway!
M. P.
Awesome food and great beer Gamma Ray
K. H.
A lovely pub, converted bank branch I believe, cozy, went on a weekday lunchtime and was fairly quiet but still had a nice ambience with what seemed like a few locals. Fullers always offer good beers/wines in my opinion so a good range of drinks were available. Did not eat but food looked good. Barman was professional and very pleasant. Clean, not noisy, welcoming. Hope to go back soon!
J. W.
Great 'Pie with a Pint'!!
e.
The jugged hare pie is delicious. Solid beer selection and a great atmosphere. I have enjoyed every visit.
B. C.
Spacious boozer. Not a massive selection of pumps and most are fairly standard. Food looks reasonable.
D. R.
Very decent London boozer with fab staff and a good pint of Fuller's London Pride.
A. F.
Good beer, nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
S. “. T.
This is a nice pub. I visit quite regularly. Now usually I'm not one to complain about smokers. Outdoor space is a premium in London, especially SW1. And this place has a tiny but decent little outdoor space which is a nonsmoker's hell to be honest. It might be worth considering designating a few seats for nonsmoker's. We like the outdoors too.
D. M.
Lovely bar, friendly staff, nice atmosphere
A. M.
It was nice to see my friends again 😊 we had such a lovely time- the back garden is small but charming - cosy, the fresh cooked food is yammmmy- the cold drinks and the weather just perfect- the staff so friendly - she was so quick- as a big group I was not expecting the service to that quick- we had lovely time that we will meet again in the same place.
J. M.
Pleasant traditionally styled off the main track pub on Vauxhall Bridge Road. Premises looks like a converted bank building run by Fullers London brewery. Comfortably furnished with Gallery and downstairs seating. Good choice of beers with pub food menu. Very reasonably priced. Not too crowded.
W. P. L.
Good place to have a drink and bring your friends too
C. S.
We actually almost walked straight by this place without walking in! I'm glad we didn't miss it by though, it's a nice and cozy place, and the staff that we spoke to was very friendly and helpful when asked about drink recommendations.
There is some chilled music in the background, which isn't too loud and the song selection is great, and it has a great, rustic feel to the place, giving it quite the charm.
Overall, a great place to go if you are looking for somewhere to kick back, relax, and unwind, or chill out with some mates and knock back a couple of drinks.
It's a shame that I don't live in London, or else this place would be a regular haunt!
N. D.
Very pleasant and cozy atmosphere, fun and friendly staff. We came here for Sunday Roast and everybody left full and happy. The bartender advised me a beer and all of it was quite good. Unfortunately, we didn't have any place left for dessert, but that's the goal for a next visit.
S. F.
I recently arranged a Christmas lunch for over 30 adults at The Jugged Hare. Elise guided me through the process which could not have been smoother, was very accommodating with my many requests and made everything a breeze.
Myself and my guests arrived on the day to a beautifully decorated balcony, with great little touches like Santa hats and a place name for each person with what they had ordered. The staff were hugely accommodating with meal service times and the bar service was very speedy while we waited.
The food was some of the best pub food I’ve ever eaten. Considering there were so many people each having 3 courses I was massively impressed with what we were served. The beef bourguignon in particular was delicious. Many compliments to the chef!
The lovely Elise was on hand all day, as well as the bar manager (whose name I’ve forgotten but you were fabulous, thank you!) and the incredibly hard working bar staff. We enjoyed the pub so much we ended up staying all night and having a great time.
I couldn’t recommend The Jugged Hare enough and am already looking forward to going back next year!
K. W.
Friendly staff + great drinks offers. We had such a lovely time in the cute little beer garden. Hopefully we can return soon after Lockdown 2.0 🤞🏽🖤
M. B.
good variety of food. vegetarian options. Upper balcony relaxing, especially for singles and couples. "pub" feel while still lively.
d. s.
We visited this pub on amid week afternoon. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The outside of the Hugged Hare didn't look like a traditional pub, although the inside decor does and is nicely and spacious, please bare in mind our visit was a midweek afternoon. Food is served although we just had several beers. Our visit was pleasant and enjoyable:-)
T. H.
Handcrafted pies OMG i had the madras pie absolutely superb with a madras sauce and real chips to die for.
I. O.
Amazing pub and friendly service!
R. S.
Who knew there was a restaurant stuck over on the side here. The pictures and menu look great. I want to eat here on my next trip. I was hauled in by customers after a day of meetings.
The atmosphere excellent. You could drop the bartenders into any American hipster bar and they would look like they belonged. It's too bad things like that get globalized. Anyway the beer selection excellent, The selection of whisky and whiskey was top notch. I didn't try a cocktail, but they looked like they were prepared with fresh ingredients and with skill.
M.
Nice and cozy pub. They gave us blankets and umbrella's when it started raining. Really friendly staff.
B. C.
Good standard Fuller's pub with pie and pint menu. Full range of Fuller's own beers and normally a few good guest ales but this has declined recently (Nov 18). Lots of space with an upstairs balcony and back room so normally able to get a table. Beware near Xmas as very popular for parties and they book upstairs or whole pub, check before arranging to meet there.
G. J.
The beer selection here has definitely improved in recent years. There’s a upstairs section which usually has seats available and there is a hidden away beer garden at the back. Probably not the best pub in the area (try Cask Pub and Kitchen if you’re after good beer), but it’s a good alternative if your a local and looking for a change of scene.
S. B.
Best pies ever. Delicious filling, perfect ratio of filling to pastry, no gaps, beautiful golden crust. Chips could do with being a little crispier but let's face it, I just go for the pies. Staff are always friendly, and they ask about allergies when you order.
J. B. L.
A very nice Fuller's Pub, like many of their other pubs, a former bank. It is very roomy and have an extremely good selection of real ale (it's Fuller's after all). Good food on the menu, and if you don't want ale, there are many other drinks behind the nice bar, like wine, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, and lager. If you don't know what to have, try a cider, they are usually very nice indeed. Maybe you find this pub to be slightly off the main streets, where turists go, but that is rather good. Try to find it, and you will definately like it.
B. M.
Great pub. Fantastic bar staff. Very friendly
D. S.
Really nice here. Came in for some lunch on a bank holiday. Was quite quiet. Sat down in the dining area and was about to go to the bar to order our food when one of the staff came up to take my order, was really appreciated. Didn't know there was table service so that was a bonus.
Good pie and ale selection here. Recommended.
R. C.
Went looking for somewhere to eat that was away from the main shopping and tourest areas, whilst making my way to Victoria train station. I found this the Jugged Hare. It straight away felt like a pub for the locals of the area, which it is. Quiet Victorian in look and feel and typical British pub fair. Definitely one when your not rushed and feel like relax with a pint and some food.
J. C.
A great Fullers pub with some nice features, a mezzanine area, and a quieter rear dining room. Definitely worth popping in for some drinks. The pub normally has sport on too, but it wasn’t obtrusive when I visited.
The food portions were on the small side, and the reason that I'm giving three stars. The pies were quite good, but the mash was a bit on the dry/claggy side, and the serving of greens that came with the pie and mash was a bit stingy. I wouldn’t say that it was worth the £14 (incl. service) that we each paid.
P. M.
People talk of the perfect pint, these guys are delivering it. Nothing exotic, just kept, poured and served well. Never tried the food, looks great, but highly recommended for an amiable pint on the walk to Victoria. Faultless. Thank you.
J. D. (. D.
Went there last night. My group sampled the meat pies. Each was delicious. I was especially fond of my lamb pie topped off with Fullers 1845. Our host, Liga, was very friendly and helpful. Three cheers for the Jugged Hare!
M. G.
I like it because it's usually quiet on a Saturday evening. You can get food here until 9 pm
R. B.
We were visiting from Texas and wanted to avoid the tourist hordes. Just 10 minutes walk from the madness of Victoria station, this charming pub was perfect! Great beer, food and service in a beautifully converted bank building.
J. N.
Great beers, and lovely atmosphere

Used to work in Vincent square till 2004 and went several times a week.my mother and I am adopted so it was part of bonding used to eat in there weekly...had my leaving do in the upstairs balcony maybe April 2004 as we moved to France in may 2004.
Hadn't set foot till I returned Monday February 4 last on a visit to London.
My oh my what a gorgeous surprise!on arrival Ella Fitzgerald playing and a welcome well well well.
The beer was as good as ever supurb served in pristine clean glasses with good grace ...
Needed to visit the facilities so down I went and it was as before.
You could eat off the floor.
Two more beers and a lovely lovely experience...thank you so very much.
I will visit again.
Your pub and everything about it should make you proud!
Well done and thank you.
Jason went france

Really nice pub. However an overly assertive staff member moved us out of the way (of our booked table) to let a bus party upstairs, then moved us out of the way again to get food to them. No problem seating and feeding pre- booked customers, but it could be done a bit more politely to other customers.
M. “. O. K.
Nice Fullers pub a short walk from Victoria station. Good selection of cask & keg beer including Gamma Ray.
Service is efficient & friendly. Food is OK, only had snacks but all looked & smelt good.
S. H.
A great menu and warm, welcoming atmosphere sets this above the many fun but often crowded and rowdy pubs studded throughout Pimlico and Millbank. My five-spice duck pie was delicious and the picket of tap ales could have made for a happy journey ( but probably not a happy ending) I chose the Seafarers English ale and made it back to my berth in Pimlico safely.
A. N.
We had our Xmas meal amongst friends about 20 of us. All the food came out hot and no mistakes in the orders. Food was sublime. seriously good lovely portion sizes. Would definitely eat there against
S. D.
The pie tasting board was great, as usual
M. D.
Traditional atmospehere and very interesting place. They have multiple selection of beers.
R. R.
Very friendly staff, especially the young lady from Melbourne.
My 3 friends enjoyed their food & drinks, etc & would reccomend the Jugged Hare to others.
We use the Jugged Hare regularly as one friend always reserves a table & we have always have had great service from present & previous staff
K. K.
I stepped inside and a strange feeling came over me. I looked down at my hands and noticed I was wearing one white, fingers glove with delicate brown buttons. I was astonished, having never seen this glove before, and certainly, this was only something Michael Jackson was permitted to pull off? Before I could question myself, my friend Burbage had bowled over from the bar and, thrusting a sherry into my paw, led me by the shoulders to a table in the corner. He explained that in this place, the custom was to partake in beverages and conversation. I thought this might be a challenge, as the figures around me were all wearing animals masks, and the noises they made quite muffled. Fortunately the entire evening passed without any other intolerable surprises, thanks to the warmth of the bar staff and their lovely cider. When I left, I forgot my glove, but the very next day I awoke to find a dove had carried it to my window. An excellent experience.
B. L.
Wednesday evening drink with friend. Unhelpful and indifferent staff. Ask a question and they answer, but not warm. The pie and mash was not cheap, £13, but was good. Staff went though the text book Q & A, everything OK? Was it good? Going though the motions. But it was nice to look at inside, and there was space and soft seats for chat.
C. V.
Great pie tasting menu and fun people to talk to.
C. B.
A gem of a place. Aussie Elise Goff ? in charge of Corporate Hospitality ensured my 9-person team had a wonderful Brexmass lunch. Three-course meal was great value and she 2as attentive and sociable. I'd go again after Brexit.
K. M.
Had a drink and Neal. Good choice of beers. Food was ok. Bar tables and stools were really high - I have short legs. Really wanted a couch seat but lucked out. Families, friends and colleagues were enjoying the venue.
B. G.
Very nice pub indeed. Reasonably priced and serving most palatable food in great surroundings. Gets busy and always good atmosphere there when I visit.
C. W.
Nice pub with very helpful and friendly staff. Good range of drinks reasonably priced for London. Did not eat there but the food looked good.
K. W.
Friendly staff, nice service at the table in the gallery. Good selection of wine and beer. Interesting menu options, including good veggie and vegan dishes.
C. B.
The staff are always friendly and the place is always clean and tidy. Nice outside beer garden with T.V to watch sports. There isn't a bad thing to say about this pub.
J. A.
Lovely old pub which used to be the Midland bank back in the day. Great atmosphere and showing all the live sports. Set near Victoria station and on the Vauxhall Bridge Road a place to rest after a hard days work or on the way to somewhere else. I used to walk past this place when it was a bank in the early 60s and 70s.
C. F.
Reserved table. Ready ahead of time while my wife came from Hamilton at Victoria Palace. No, she will not tell me how much under strict instructions from me. Service fantastic, beef and ale pie very flavorful, great porter. Would go again if not for leaving London tomorrow.
J. M.
Fantastic food and excellent, personal service
E. C.
Very impressive Fullers pub. This former bank is a grand pub with impressive pictures and an imposing chandelier. Very well run by friendly staff. Recommended if you're around Victoria.
C. H.
Good local feeling pub. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Good Fullers beer selection and decent food. Would recommend for a nice English pint.
D. M.
As a Pimlico resident I have been in most of the pubs in the area over the past 18 years. The Hare is my fave. Especially on weekends when a bit quieter and good for a bite to eat with the dog and a newspaper
A. M.
Great atmosphere and a nice selection of beers (honey beer!). Friendly staff. Had a great time on a few leaving drinks. It was transformed to a pub from an old bank so the interior is quite unique.
D. B.
Great pub I went in about 11.30 am. great only 4 people in there that's good for me bar man friendly the pub is clean told gets busy Thursday night's I think it's a no for me
I. M.
Clean and tidy space. Quick customer service.Great pie and drink. I enjoyed every bit of my time here. I recommended my friend to visit the pub. It was a great experience.
I. M.
Recommended by a friend, I owe him one. Great place, good atmosphere, huge fish and chips, and a very good steak pie.
The apple pie was a little weak, but I would definitely recommend the place!
l. k.
We booked the pub for a private event. Great selection of beers on tap, nice finger food. Music(live DJ) a little to loud, but great music.
K. P.
A good pint of ale, good selection of beverages, good food, excellent service
S. W.
The pub is rather nice and I've been to it several times over the past month. I'd say that the atmosphere is pretty buzzy, with lots of people chit-chating around. However, it's definitely not a child-friendly place.
V. T.
Fast service and attentive staff. Interior that compliments the atmosphere. Great food and Fuller's beer on tap. Definitely worth a visit.
G. M.
Beautiful bar, amazing friendly staff and great food.
J. B.
A good Fullers pub with the usual selections of beer. The food is usually pretty good - but not blow you away awesome. I would say its on par with other English Pubs in the area.
A.
Great London pub experience with affordable and tasty beverages. The sunday roast was a little disappointing but the vegetables were great and the staff were lovely!
E. G.
I love this pub and I always return here . Very chilled and clean and cosy, good service and prices.. ticks all my boxes. Great place.
B. M.
Great fish and chips and charming London pub!
F. A.
Amazing staff. Nice, quiet and clean pub.
P. W.
Relaxed pub in a grand building. Nice selection of beer and friendly service. Lots of food options to choose from, with variety of pies on offer.
R. B.
Food was consistently good. Nice place to stop in if you're looking for good pub food and a pint. Staff was attentive and polite.
J. A. B.
Good beer but, as with all Fullers pubs, overpriced. The food was bog standard, but £10 for the sausage and mash is an absolute rip off.
Nice building tho,
C. C.
The food was amazing!!!!
This place was great for a catch up with mates. The price for food and drinks was reasonable.
Close to Victoria station and all its public transpost
Will definitely be going back
J. M.
Good pub pies, proper pies with top & bottoms! Good ale. Very friendly staff. Next time in London we will visit again.
G. S.
A quality fullers pie & ale house. You get a full flavoured pie & the vast selection of fullers beers & premium ciders/lagers.
Fun & lively atmosphere.
D.
Good pub, pricey.
K. A.
We found the staff to be chatty and very welcoming to the customers. The venue have nice seating and a small outdoor patio. The food is average.
A. H.
When everyone turned their bins/barrels space into a smoking area - these guys actually bothered to make it nicer than a concrete box.
Small but nice outside area with good seating and a TV.
J. M.
Great evening. Amazingly attentive staff.
E. C.
Excellent pie and beer. Nice service
L. R.
Nice little pub, decor and music very good decent beer selection just a little pricy, though not a huge amount more than the surrounding area
s. h.
Best ESB in the local area.
The Cask in pimlico on Sunday has turned into a middle class crèche.
If you want food and decent beer go to the Hare.

Nice pub; decent beer selection but not as extensive as others in the area. Good food.
D.
Really cool place with really nice staff.
Lovely little courtyard at the back
J. D.
A traditional pub in the heart of London. Prices were reasonable and the beer selection was decent. Food was acceptable, but the service was slow and of poor quality, even though there was hardly anyone else to serve. I'm hoping this is not typical.
J. M.
If you like a benchmark pub this is probably it. Warm weak London Pride with straight from the freezer Fish and Chips. Nothing bad, but nothing particularly good either. Nice enough.
D. R.
Very nice. Pleasant staff. Good drinks. London prices. Life is short enjoy.
S. G.
Nice environment and beers taste good. Staff are OK and it's very pricey but you expect that in central London. Nice decor.
A. A.
Very warm welcome. Good beer. Shambolic food service but the house pie (hare), (when I eventually got it) and vegetables was yum.
M. A.
Highly recommend this place. The steak pie was delicious. Staff was very attentive. Book a table though as this place get’s busy.
R. R.
Great pub with a really nice building. I had a flight here all good beers. I'd recommend stopping in.
M. F.
Friendly traditional pub
M. D.
Not a great choice of the roast dinners. We were told on the phone that there would be chicken.
D. T.
Under new management and absolutely excellent. Food was exemplary (specifically the black pudding scotch eggs) and the service was 100% on point.
K. K.
Good pub, nice selection of beers with good food. Busy and loud, the rear corner is a little quieter.
m. o.
Traditional pub in Vauxhall Bridge Road with beer garden in the back (too bad it closes at 9 pm). Good drinks and food, good destination for after-work drinks
B. M.
Did a search for bars walking up Vauxhall Bridge but this place didn't appear on Google Maps. (Shame on you Google) is lovely character looking comfortable place with reasonable prices.
A. L.
Not a great pub! Lacks character and atmosphere. I wouldn't choose to drink there but pubs around Victoria St. are like this
D. A.
Friendly staff ... Lovely roast dinner. Nice atmosphere. Good to have a separate dinning area for families.
B. D.
Beers are well kept, staff is indeed friendly, and the environment is special. (Former bank. Nice paneling though). Fills up quickly on a Friday night
M. B.
Lovely old building with great Victorian character inside. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, privoviding well kept beer and good food.
S. H.
Not spectacular. That'll do.
P. S.
I have organised my party in Jugged Hare last Friday. Food was fantastic, service exclusive. Strongly recommend. Thank you Elise.
W. L.
Good place to have a drink
R. T.
Large pub, most likely an old bank in an earlier life. Reasonable choice of draught beers and lagers. Menu available.
C. T.
Roast Dinner was lovely. Was disappointed by the Chocolate Brownie Sundae dessert as it was overpriced for what it actually contained.
V. R.
Best pie I've ever head anywhere in London! Great dining room atmosphere, too. Highly recommended!
S. B.
Good roast, although a bit lacking in gravy causing a dryish yorkie
Service was attentive and friendly
Definitely one to pop into if you are nearby
A. H.
Nice layout, friendly staff.
P. W.
Nice traditional pub with decent food if you're feeling hungry. Really nice selection of pies!

H. H.
A decent pub on the busy street.

A. M.
Fantastic staff a real change from some nearby pubs in what is a particularly busy terminus of London. Pies are excellent
V. R.
Beautiful pub. Only 4 stars as I've not had a meal yet
C. A. A.
Staff lovely ...small plates delish
C. P.
Interesting decor. Nice pub in general but can be a little cramped. Usual crowd seems to be city workers/bankers.
C. H.
Beer and staff good. Food ok and toilets were like a dirty protest.
R. N.
The food isn't great. Service OK. Wouldn't bother going back unless I worked locally perhaps. My fries were virtually incinerated.

(Translated) Very friendly place. This is an old pub close to Victoria. It's a partnership with Fullers. Cask Ale wasn't much different from anywhere else and it was cheap. Even though I ordered it with half pint, it was nice and cheap. It's a high class atmosphere where food is good.
(Original)

(Translated) This pub deserves a review. It is the typical English pub, according to what we are used to. But the meat pies "feet" they prepare, far outweigh what you usually find. For something they have been awarded. To repeat during the next visit.
(Original)

(Translated) During our stay in London, we came EVERY DAY to have breakfast here, the famous English Breakfast, the 1st day it was great, in terms of quantity there was a lot, then every day we had less and less thing, and in smaller size, which we were quite disappointed with, also on the 4 days that we came he had no other breakfasts than the English, me who wanted to taste American, I was pretty disappointed, especially since I asked him every day, and every day the same answer. If it's like that all the time, he should take things off their menu.
But overall I am satisfied with this restaurant, there is a good atmosphere, and the wifi! I recommend it
(Original)
