Reviews of The King's Head, Earl's Court
L. S.
Nice little pub, very well looked after.
Friendly staff and good atmosphere.
D. T.
A really pleasant pub in a wonderful setting, close to Earl's Court tube station. Plenty of good beer on offer and opens up for breakfast everyday so can't be bad. Upstairs dining also available here so loads of room to eat drink and chat away. Staff are great and helpful, all you need in a pub. Certainly worth a visit.
R. M.
Pretty standard Fuller's pub, beer nice, food ok but nothing outstanding. Appreciate the allergen advise on the website when choosing our sons meal. Staff very helpful and polite. Thank you 👍
S. P.
My wife and I went here on a Friday night and were surprised that is wasn't busy. The pub is modern and clean. They have a dining area on the second floor, which they have waitstaff. On the first floor you can order drinks/food but you have to order at the bar. The food was average. I had a burger and fries and it was underwhelming. I would definitely go back for drinks.
S. C.
Slightly tired shabby traditional pub but with bags of character. Good selection of beers and friendly young staff, narrow food offerings but the quality was top class.
And of course it has a theatre in the back with studio seating and a cosy feel you only get in a small venue.
Take your beer or wine into the performance and it's a lovely relaxing evening, highly recommend.
V. J.
Active scene, the waiters were nice and made sure they paid attention. The food was good and the atmosphere very energetic. Conversation was hard as it was loud but you couldnt help but get excited from all the positive feelings around.
F. L.
I was staying in the neighborhood recently (at the Westbury Hotel) and visited this pub twice, once for lunch and later for a pint with my wife and one of her friends. It's a very pleasant place to spend time, and they have a wide selection of different beers. For lunch, I tried something a little atypical for a pub: the baked egg dish shaksouka. It was delicious and went very nicely with a pint of London's Pride. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.
i. y.
We only visited here because it was near our rental during our visit and it was lovely! Amazing, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and probably the best fish and chips we had the entire trip! The mushy peas were amazing, and I kept thinking about them each time I ate other more inferior mushy peas. Will definitely come back next time I’m in London.
M. W.
Went to the match at Stamford Bridge. Called into the Kings Head after. Great food, drink and atmosphere. Not too crowded and good service. 👍
L. D.
Nice place. Cozy fire, friendly staff.
Even took a last min work party booking and fenced us in nicely
G. F. G.
Nice, traditional pub, friendly staff, good range of ales on casks, including guest ales. Have not tried the food yet
S. D.
We had the vegetable spring rolls and fish and chips. Both were very tasty. Our waiter was not friendly and wouldn't stay at our table long enough for us to ask for anything else we might need. He did not come back once to check on us after getting our food.
G. H.
I have to say this is a very excellent place with very friendly staffs. I had an important meeting with my friends during the lunch time. The staff arranged a very nice place for us on the second floor. I don't know the names of the friendly staffs. but I would like to say thank you again here. I highly recommend this place. The foods are also delicious!!! I definitely will go there with my friends frequently after the lockdown.
T. D.
Brilliant place, well-kept ales and vibrant. Pricey, though!
L. F.
What a nice, pleasant find. A Fuller's pub that doesn't look like a gaudy gin palace. And.....the toilets are in the same floor, no stairs! And it wasn't full with tourists.
Z. K.
Lovely place. Big selection of beers and gins. Really good food. Had a lovely dinner.
I. H.
Lovely little pub with a great atmosphere, especially during the quiz on Thursday nights!
T. K.
Good food and beer. We had to order st the bar, which wasn't made clear when we arrived. Bread pudding was fantastic.
D. Z.
Good and changing craft beer range plus decent food. Especially cosy by the fireside
b. b.
Great pub very close to our hotel! Great selection of beers. VERY clean. Super friendly staff! Came here twice 💪👊
N. P.
A nice lovely spot in Earl’s Court for some refreshments and sustenance. The staff is pleasant. The ambiance is relaxing. And the food and drinks was excellent.
M. S.
Good pub with a great select of craft beers. Too expensive though. £5.55 for a 330ml of neck oil.
K. W.
Lovely pub. Its hidden but its bigger on the insdie than what it looks.
K. B.
The fish n chips were great and the Sheppard pie was good it was lacking something.
D. D.
Nice little boozer. Went in on Friday night over the August Bank Holiday. Good choice of beers. Friendly staff.
A. G. U.
Our first trip to London and our first pub experience, it was very close to our hotel and it was very lovely, enjoyed a delicious gin cocktail and local brew, the food in the chalk board looked delicious, we only had a couple of the bar snacks and they were good, the meatballs in spicy sauce was not spicy at all but still tasty. Fair price and friendly staff. Would like to come back to try some of the other items.
K. H.
It's less people than pub at main street. You can enjoy your time with friends and family.
F. S. (. F.
Shame when Fuller's bought this pub they put the ladies toilet upstairs. Not bad other than that.
a. M. (.
Only had lunch here once, but good food and friendly service, would visit again when in the area.
G. M.
Loved this little pub! My friend and I found it when wondering looking for a sports bar (we didn't find one). Ended up settling here and had a great time. Staff were super friendly, range of beers was brilliant. Food options were pretty good, whether you wanted lunch or dinner. Quiz nights on Monday are an absolute blast. Well worth a visit!
S. K.
On a back street in Earls Court you will find this lovely pub. Clean and fresh interior. Good fish and chips. well worth visiting
M. H.
Nice pub 👌👍good beer 🍺and I don't mean larger, 😜I mean real ale 😀😉good pint 👍
I. P.
Friendly staff and food came quickly and was well cooked
J.
Best full english breakfast!
Super friendly staff, loved this place so much.
F. M.
Lovely pub & quick service. Great seating area outside. I wasn't sure what beer to have (it's a decent selection) so the barman gave me a taster for me to choose - really helpful!
Oops sorry - I've just seen your message that I've left a review for a different pub! I was at your place and loved it too!! Great helpful staff and lovely bar food with quick service. It's a great spot to sit and chill after a busy day - really good atmosphere and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in London.
T. C.
Great meal and service. Nice cold beer too.
M. J.
Nice, friendly staff. The menu is varied and has a few gluten-free options. The staff take notes on allergies and are very helpful. I enjoyed the burger, (without the bun!) and especially the triple fried chips. The only problem is that the ladies toilet is upstairs.
P. T.
The best Covid times pub in London .A nice Fullers pub in Earl's Court .Bobbie is one of the best barmaids I have met in my life.A great place with friendly staff and a great pub atmosphere .Check it out you won't be disappointed!!!
L. C.
lovely lamb with garden veggies and potatoes. Lamb was cooked just right, juicy and lovely char flavour.
D. M.
Apparently recently renovated pub that lives up to the expectations for a central London pub. Vintage furnishing with a modern touch and a great breakfast menu. They had an on and off offering of breakfast over the years, currently serving a wide variety of sweet and savoury dished. The beer served is mostly Fuller's with a few guests on the tap.
M. G.
Great pub with friendly service. I had the fish and chips and my partner had the chicken burger, both were delicious! There is a restaurant upstairs, but we sat in the pub and ordered from the bar menu. Nicest bathrooms we've seen so far in London.
H. G.
Lovely little friendly pub. Top service. Very clean and stylish bathrooms.
A. I. f.
I usually don't post reviews unless it deserves more attention.
It was a fantastic experience and the only one my partner and I repeated during our stay.
It has a wide selection of beers and wines and the food os great even if the choice is limited to a few classics (in my opinion all the better because the food was great).
The staff was kind and gave us good suggestions.
A great place and I'm looking forward to returning during my next visit to London.
S. G.
Stopped here for dinner one night on a recent stay in the area. The food and service was great. I had the Shepard's pie and my friends split a fish and chips which they said was the best of our trip. When I asked for beer recommendations the bar tender was very helpful, although he did try to recommend Sierra Nevada to an American but that can be forgiven. Overall it was a great experience. I wanted to check on Quiz Night on a Monday night but had no takers from my friends, but I think it would be.a fun activity to try.
C. D.
Walked in based on reviews here, as we were hungry and didn't want to go to a tourist trap. Slightly off the beaten path, which is great. Nice selection of beer, with a few local beers. Cozy atmosphere, exactly what you would expect from a local pub. Bartender was nice and made some good recommendations. As a "non local", I did not feel out of place here. Speaking of locals, there were plenty of them , and you can tell they were repeats! Food was good and served fast.
O. M.
Went there for breakfast. Very good food & service. Highly recommended!
K. G.
I've only had Shepherd's Pie one other time and this was by far the better of the two, and quite good by any measure. The beer was cold and served with a smile. The bartender was gracious and sympathetic to my Midwestern-American trouble with his accent. Highly recommend the place just off the beaten path near Earl's Court Station. Seemed a more authentic Pub experience than some on the busy corners.
M. W.
Very friendly welcome, great staff, great food and great beer. We had a lovely visit here. The burger was awesome and my wife had the open ravioli. Not far from Earl’s Court or the Rockwell if you are staying there. Pop in, you won’t regret it
H. V.
I very nice out of the way pub. Great friendly service. Food was very good. Really comfortable atmosphere. Delicious! We would definitely dine here again.
N. L.
Really nice pub with lots of good food, beers & gins !
A. G.
Great UK style pub, good pints and dining options upstairs. Great selection of gins and beer as well, with a lively atmosphere and friendly staff always happy to help. Pets are welcome. Will definitely return whenever I'm back in the area.
J. V.
We fell in love with this pub on our first visit and stopped in for two more meals during our 5 days in London. It's that good! The staff was excellent and the food was incredible! Try to stop in for a Sunday roast or a toffee sticky pudding! Yum!
J. D.
Lovely pub, it has a great selection of rotating craft beer and a comfortable setting to enjoy them in. The staff are super friendly and the food is pretty good. It's a little pricey but that goes for the area generally.
I. M.
A lovely neighbourhood pub that has just had a great refurbishment. I haven't eaten here yet but the menu looks very good! The dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious too.
R. C.
Lovely pub in a secluded, attractive street with atmosphere, good beers including a wide range of craft beers, well-conceived nibbles and a good, if quite pricey, menu. You can drink outside and the staff are friendly and helpful.
L. J.
My wife and I were only visiting London for about 3 days but we found ourselves here 2 different nights for dinner. Fun atmosphere and a dining room upstairs if you want a quieter area to eat. Friendly staff and great food too.
E. S.
Highly recommended. I went there with a buggy to eat, the staff was very nice with us and food is great
A. D.
Called in on the off chance to discover one of the best pubs I've visited in a while. A perfectly cooked 12oz Hampshire Sirloin on the bone but the best part was the selection of gins. Staff excellent, courteous and friendly. No loud music just some quiet Bowie in the back ground. Only criticism is that we live in Cornwall and this is just a little far to be our local😂😂
C. D. P.
Very friendly service on a Sunday lunchtime. We had Sunday Roast beef and it was excellent with all the trimmings. It took a while to get served but it was worth the wait.
The pub has a relaxed ambiance and it's on a quiet street away from busy Earls Court Road. It has windows on both sides to let the light in.
Beer selection is good with some Belgium ones.
J. A.
Very nice pub for a beer or two. Visited the place on afternoon, and it was clean and quiet. Also food available, but we didn't try it. Moderate prices.
E. B.
Super quaint, friendly, and a local feel. The infused gin was really awesome. The scotch egg was amazing and the fish and chips was standard but very good. Thanks Paul! Makes us feel like we're home and we want to keep coming back.
J. C.
Liked the decor and the location (a bit away from the hustle and bustle). Good selection of ales and liquors, fair prices, and courteous staff. Would recommend that the staff do a better job of monitoring intoxicated patrons; two drunks (regulars?) wouldn't let up on me during my visit ("I didn't vote for him" wasn't good enough for them), and staff never intervened. That was enough to keep me from visiting again.
I. C.
Nice pub, very conveniently located, close to Earls Court station and with a lot of restaurants around it in case you don't want to have pub food. Even though we tried making an online reservation, but it didn't work, I'll still give it 5 stars. The pub looks really nice and they have a great selection of beers.
H. d. V.
Good size, medium rare, nice roasties & cauliflower cheese, friendly staff, lovely neighbourhood.
D. N.
Cozy and welcoming pub. Very nice staff, spotlessly clean. A bit pricey but it's worth it considering the service offered.
D. G.
A surprisingly great local find. This is a very friendly, low key neighborhood pub with food. I stopped by of a quick after work dinner... I had a very tasty burger and delicious chips... So good I stuck around for dessert!
I've no doubt I'll be here again in the future!
P. S.
Great pub , great atmosphere. A proper pub
R. W.
Quaint little pub near Earl’s Court that really hit the spot after a long day of travel. Fish and Chips were splendid and I really enjoyed the variety of local beers. Staff were all very pleasant.
M. B.
Very nice pub. Had burger and cottage pie - both delicous. And the beers were not bad - almost as good as the Czech ones :) (this should be considered as a compliment!)
P. D.
Lovely tucked away location. Better than Fuller's other, too touristy, Earls Court rip-off The Blackbird. Friendly staff, half decent guest ales but still too expensive, even by West End standards. No proper German or Czech beer either, but what's new on that front!?
J. S.
Recently refurbished Fuller's pub just up the road from Earl's Court. Nice interior with a cosy feel despite its size and open layout. Have been here a few times for drinks but not yet eaten here.
A. P.
Went here one morning for a full English breakfast. Excellent place for breakfast! Very attentive server and tasty food! Will come one day for dinner and beer next time I'm in London.
R. M.
Stayed near by so this was our local pub. Very cozy, does not get very crowded on weekends or weekdays. Lots of room to sit on main floor or upstairs. Trivia nights available. Decent choices for foor including some vegan options.
S. B.
It is a cozy place with a nice fireplace. The burgers were probably one of the best we have ever eaten. And it is definitely worth to stay for some drinks.
T. N.
The food here never disappoints! We love it here either for brunch, lunch or dinner!
The staffs are most friendly and interior is nicely decorated. One of our favourite places to drop in for a meal!
R. S.
Good service, good choice of beer & lager too. We had the smoked salmon Scotch egg, macaroni cheese and battered fish and chips all excellent ! And excellent clean fragrant even (!) toilets 10 out of 10 for this pub 👍
C. G.
As far as pubs go, The King's Head is a lot quieter than most others. Having been there a couple times, it tends to be less crowded and caters more towards relaxing than watching sports or listening to music. People come to have a pint while reading a book or writing a paper. It's a nice place to go Monday nights for Quiz (Trivia) Night.
J. M. P.
Great little local pub tucked away in Earl’s Court “village” well away from hustle and bustle of the Earl’s Court Rd. Great ambience for a date or a catch up with friends, providing a variety of seating arrangements. Serves decent food fair and a good selection of ales. What’s not to like?
B. R.
Cosy pub just off earls court road. Very near the station. Lots of comfy seating. Friendly staff, good selection of beers, and decent food. Dog friendly which is always a bonus! 🐕
P. B.
Nice place. Nice people, Good food.
M. B.
Super cool pub! Very trendy!
s. f.
I had visited this place twice during my stay in London on March 2017. I tried their fish and chip and beef steak. They all cook to perfection. The service was good especially the waitress Ms. Anastasia during my 1st visit . I enjoyed the crumble she recommended for desert.
W.
Excellent service. Such a nice design. We always have a great time at the Kings Head. Especially amazing for functions. Book their upstairs dining room. It's lovely
J. R.
Nice pub just out of the hustle and bustle of Earls Court. Great selection of beers and nice menu including interesting takes on some pub classics. Have met friends here several times and never been disappointed.
D. S.
Orange juice with Vodka & Fish & Chips were awesome !
B. A.
The food was a good quality, and the atmosphere is ok. The pub has been refurbished a few months ago, and it looks much les authentic than before. They have a few belgium beers which are, I think much better than the classic lagers we can find everywhere.
F. N.
I'm no local guide in this area, but as a young father, I very much enjoyed our experience of a dinner in a pub, there :)
It seemed quite a bit more relaxed than on the main street. Not to mention how friendly the staff was.
Thanks :)
Y. M.
We found this place at the end of our stay last summer. The great thing is, we are headed back in 2 weeks and believe me, they will get tired of seeing us! Friendly staff, the food is delicious, and the best Pimms in the city. See y’all in two weeks!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
C. C.
Quite a nice Earls Court pub with a small but reasonable selection of real ales including guest beers. Unsurprisingly popular with tourists staying locally. Worth an hour of your time.
l. s.
I've tasted a lot of fish&chips. Especialy among the best rated. Triple cooked chips, extra crispy juicy fish. With a Asahi beer.... Mhmm that's the best I had.
Very good desserts also.
Clearly my recommandation.
J. P.
Old ownership was AWESOME! Had my birthday there and they reserved a special Oktoberfest keg and got us 20 stein glasses :)
+ there was a secret Dutch menu you could ask for (good secret).
Unsure about new ownership
L.
Nice pub just 3 mins walk from Earl's Court tube station but slightly off the main road so good atmosphere but not packed. Good selection of beers, wine and spirits.
C. D.
Great pub, great staff and good food! Anastasia & Thanae provided great service, they were friendly and helpful and great with our granddaughters. Really enjoyed the Shepherds Pie.
M. Z.
We had a English breakfast there. The bartender was very nice and agreed to our order even though it was quarter past the time they served breakfast. The quantity was a little bit underwhelming for the price though.
S. G.
Lovely pub and great food
A. N.
This was my local pub in the 90s,always loved it
It's a great place to have dinner upstairs,
We had fish which was amazing
I like how helpful the waiters were explaining and recommening dishes
Very nice, you should try
A. S.
Quirky chillout pub, perfectly tacked away from the big buzz of the high street. A secret gem of Earl's Court or maybe even London! Amazing craft beers, delicious food, happy and fun staff! X
A. M.
Decent selection of beers and ales, very goid local food, fish and chips were delicious. Small and cozy downstairs and nice location.
P. D.
As always with Fuller's pubs you have a great choice of ale's. The thing that stuck me about theirs particular pub was the food, exceptional!
Highly recommend the pigs cheek
G. K.
A very good recent redesign that returns The Kings Head to it's pub routes (after a poor attempt to turn it into a trendy bar a few years ago). The spirit is back and a big favourite with locals. A gem off the high street with a good selection of craft beers in bottle and on draft.
F. V.
Brilliant pub, staff very very good
W. C.
Had a great full English breakfast. Tasteful, great atmosphere and they serve until 12pm. Good for a brunch before heading to London attractions
A. Y.
Very good food provided a proper chef in the kitchen. There's a brilliant mixture of punters. Not your usual football crowd.
M. W.
I held a group dinner here (30 people) which was excellent. Excellent service, food, ambience. Very good beer selection, and well-kept ales, too!
J. C.
Open and spaces once you're inside with a ecclectic mix of tables and chairs. It's good for people watching as the large windows span the length of the pub. There is a large tv inside that plays games, and on match days there is a sign on the door that says "Chelsea fans only."
We enjoyed a a pub lunch of burgers, steak frites and pie. The burgers were better than the steak frites, but not as good as Byrons or GBK.
The atmosphere was casual and laid back, and over half of the tables had kids in their groups so it was very family friendly. The staff were all very friendly.
M. H.
Excellent choice of Real Ale
A. M.
We had two pints, fish & chips and bangers & mash. All good but not delicious. Nice service. Normal prices. Nice environment.
O.
This is one of the 'Go to' pub for after work drinks. Usually go here when someone is leaving or to just have a drink and team chat. Great atmosphere and good food too.
P. D.
Excellent beer and food, always friendly staff, traditional style pub
R. K.
Nice local pub, staff very friendly, felt welcome.
P. B.
Really nice place, with excellent food and some very nice & interesting beers. The staff were also really friendly, would definitely go again
A. S.
Very nice location, excellent service, tasty food and large portions. By far the best fish and chips. Nice gin mixers
J. S.
Great place to host a large group of people. The staff were always friendly and attentive and the food was great too for the price, and just a stone's throw away from Earls Court but without the crowds!
P. R.
Less busy than other pubs in the Earls Court area, and the prices are the same. There is a dinning room upstairs. We went there on a Monday and there was a pub quizz.
j. s.
The food was the best of the pubs in Earl's Court. The staff was quite friendly, and I was able to have some great conversations with a few locals.
j. j.
A lovely warm friendly atmosphere
B. T.
Easy afternoon lunch. Nice open dining area. Staff was polite and helpful. Food was standard pub food.
J. R.
Delicious food and drinks! Definitely come here for great service and an excellent lunch or dinner.
M. M.
Nice looking pub inside and friendly bar staff. Was quiet during our Sunday evening visit and only stayed for 1 as it had a weird smell
M. C.
Lovely pub. Not as wild as the old days but a few references to its Australian entertainment past. Nice food.
C. S.
Even though it is a part of Fuller's, this bar manage to keep a original craft selection as well. Service oriented staff, nice people 👌.
l. m.
Loved the location and not too busy. More modern interior and nice selection of beers and wines.
Definitely pop in when I am in the area.
A. W.
Great little pub with a decent selection of beer, wine and spirits. Fantastic food with some classic winter warmers.
M. B.
Adorable pub with great selection of gins and beers. Closed quite early for out expectation, but great atmosphere.
M. C.
Has a very tasty and reasonably priced meal, some excellent G&T's and a pub quiz! Great night out.
A. r.
Nice ales on draught. Good atmosphere but not too crowded. Decent food but pricey (but standard for London)
A. O.
Very good watering hole hidden away just off the Earl's Court Road, about 2 minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station. Good ambience and staff.
R. A.
Everything was great but a bit noisy.
c. c.
Tucked away but very nice and. Pay and lively
G. A.
Good pub neat Earls Court tube, that makes a great place to meet friends scattered across West London, beers West End prices ouch
H. N. K. N.
Nice pub. Lunch time is much appreciated as the pub is quieter. For dinner, it could be crowded and very noisy sometimes.
Y. B.
Had a great full English while I was there !
L. S.
Had a lovely breakfast. Good food and service. Nice ambience. Choose this over the pubs on Earls Court Road.
L. P.
Great food. Not a Green King establishment. Perfect pub food. Also open for breakfast with good choices.
D. C.
Reasonable food, and the prices were fine. Service staff were all friendly. Not a "destination restaurant" but not a bad choice if you are near Earl's Court.
K.
great food great staff
J. L.
Great place.....prices are high but I love the layout, decor and atmosphere. You should try it....
M. U.
Great place to be! It's kinda hidden, but you feel very comfortable. I'm willing to come back there!
W. C.
Had a great full English breakfast. Tasteful, great atmosphere and they serve until 12pm. Good for a brunch before heading to London attractions
K.
All good
H. W.
Nice cosy pub with knowledgable staff and a decent drinks selection.
J. M.
Lovely, slightly off the beaten path place that seems like a nice respite from the city
B. H.
Music volume from hell and £20 sirloin left me very unimpressed. Nice beer selection, and nice location
s. f.
I had visited this place twice during my stay in London on March 2017. I tried their fish and chip and beef steak. They all cook to perfection. The service was good especially the waitress Ms. Anastasia during my 1st visit . I enjoyed the crumble she recommended for desert.
P. D.
Excellent beer and food, always friendly staff, traditional style pub
A. J. M.
Great service, very nice staff and the best fish and ships I’ve ever had. Will definitely come back, next time I’m in London.
A. M.
Nice enough pub. A few real ales and various non-standard lagers on tap. Decent bottle choice too, including Duvel.
P. S.
Reasonable pub. Not pretentious. Ok service. Good beer. Food is pub grub.
S. P.
Friendly, quiet and lovely food!
M.
Nice clean pub serving a good range of craft beers. Good location close to the tube station.
N. S.
Great pub. Burger is pretty good too. Great selection beers on tap.
m.
Great beer and excellent pub food. Friendly staff.
C. F.
The best pub ever! Good food, great beer and amazing staff.
R. R.
Lovely pub, very convenient to Earls court. Great tasty food. Service a bit slow.
D. Z.
Very good, only place to serve Scottish egg,
But does not serve jam with breakfast....love it
R. F.
Best Shepard’s pie ever! Warm, welcoming atmosphere and immaculately clean restrooms.
H. W.
Nice cosy pub with knowledgable staff and a decent drinks selection.
D. T.
This pub is really nice for being in London, sometimes they have live music, and the food is good :)
J. C.
Nice local pub with great food and great service. Guinness on tap and full English breakfast.
C. I.
Had breakfast and late night drinks. Awesome location, tucked in an alley. Good service, prices and food.
T. M.
Nice bar on edge of Earl's Court/Kensington. Great ales, pleasant staff and tasty menu. Win win!
M. M.
Brand new Fuller's pub close to the Earls Court underground station: good place, busy only in the weekends, clean and with a good service
D. B.

Chill atmosphere, nice people, and the food ain't bad!
Seriously, there are about a bajillion pubs in this neck of the woods, and they all have a bit of a cookie cutter vibe to them. What you're looking for then is a place that is clean, with nice people, good beers, and oh yeah, food that is more than "didn't get food-poisoning! that's a win!".
What that translates to is that this place is a winner - it's one where you're happy to just swing by and have a beer, or spend a lazy afternoon...
M. e.

(Translated) A bit out of the way, but the way is worth it. Good drinks and even better food. By far the best fish and chips I've ever had. Also many other dishes on the menu we tried and were with all very satisfied.
I would particularly like to emphasize the remarkable friendliness and warmth of all the staff we had encountered during our various visits.
Miss this pub already.
