Reviews of The North London Tavern
A. &. E.
We had our son's first birthday here and Dean and the rest of staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We had left it pretty last minute and Dean was able to reserve us a few tables.
The food and drink was all top notch. We couldn't have asked for more.
Highly recommended!
T. M.
Lovely place.Dean and Emma were so kind and gracious.Food and drinks were top quality.
C. W.
Absolutely amazing venue! Customer service was second to none, especially from Dean! Made our trip from Nottingham to London that bit more personal! Would recommend this bar and their staff 100%, will definitely be back during my next trip to London. Thank you Dean!!

The best bar by far in north west london the staff are incredible and so friendly. Great atmosphere with lots of locals. Highly recommended

I’m was new to the area, spring 2021. I’m came in and it was amazing and I felt instantly at home, now this is my place to go. The staff have made an effort to get to know me, especially Emma, Harry, Dean, Dylan, Alice, Ava, zu. As soon as I come my drink is already getting poured. Always a great laugh, great atmosphere. Will always recommend.

I had my 30th birthday party here on the 15th January. Booking the upstairs function room was easy, convenient and communication from the staff was excellent from the very beginning. Dean and his team were absolutely fantastic on the night - from making me an alcoholic free gin and tonic (I'm 6 months pregnant), to going out of their way to help get birthday cake ready, this was the best place to host a party. The food is also top-notch. My family, friends and I had such an awesome night and would not have been possible without the effort from all the staff at North London Tavern. Thanks again everyone - you are amazing!
H. A.
Amazing drinks! Amazing service telling us all about different gins! Thank you Dean
N. W.
Visited here last week and was looked after by a lovely man named Harry. The food was great and they have a good selection of beers. Can't wait to visit again!
J. D.
Great time at the pub quiz this evening. Massive thanks to the manager who was rushing around moving tables and chairs to squeeze us into the quiz. Table service all evening and made our date night special. Will be back next week!
A. C.
I visit NLT nearly every week Wednesday and the vibe is always great! Emma stands out for me every week. I come in and she knows my drink by heart and always offers the most amazing service with a smile. 10 stars for EMMA!! X
C. S.
One of de good pubs in Kilburn..good staff and also good collections of wine🍷
A. S.
Good quality food. Enjoyed the fish and chips. Choice of two real cask ales and a cask cider. Also a few craft keg beers. Very handy for the tube (Kilburn) and the Overground (Brondesbury).
I. P.
Lovely local pub! We always go after uni for a few drinks and all the staff treat us like we’re at home. Specially Emma, she’s a star!
C. B.
A great pub with all the typical pub fare you'd expect in an upmarket pub. The beers start at around the £5.50-6 mark and the location is great as it's close to the train station & buses but on my visit the staff were not too concerned about hygienically cleaning tables or the bar between customers when quieter and none of them wore masks.
A. A.
We go here all the time - it’s the best Neighborhood tavern to get a drink and chill. The ambience is great and waiters are nice. To get a drink this is 5 stars
However, the food is AWFUL and pricey. Do not get food here. We got the burger and chicken wings. The burger tasted like McDonald’s burger and fries except we paid 3 times more. The wings were really bad too not sure how it’s called buffalo sauce but they were totally tasteless. Overall, don’t get food, just get drinks.
A.
Best pub in the area. I've been back time and time again. The barman named Dean has been absolutely fantastic, very welcoming very professional. You will have a brilliant time here
P. J.
Met a friend yesterday. Camembert was delicious as was the selection of ales. Very charasmatic young gent called dave helped me and my friend with a sample taste of the ales. Will be back
M. O.
Great authentic traditional pub, lovely atmosphere and tasty food! Special thanks to Dean for the great service and keeping us giggling all night. We’ll be back soon ☺️
S. W.
Great service, and lovely drinks. Dean the barman gave us a gin tasting service, very knowledgeable about the drinks. Great experience overall

Had a lovely time a couple of weeks ago when the Sunday quiz was on. Staff were incredibly friendly and added to a great evening. Special shout out to Dean the bartender, top service! Will be going back!!
J. S.
Had our annual works christmas lunch here. Food was great staff was great. Lovely setting of the table and the manager dean went above and beyond to deliver a fantastic evening. Would reccomend. The vennison was delicious. 5 stars from me
A. B.
We came here for our Christmas party and the service was great - thank you Dean and Iris (sorry, unsure if I've remembered your name correctly...) for your hospitality. Student discount available for drinks which was a plus.
S. N. (.
We booked the function room last weekend for a large NCT group of parents and toddlers. The staff were extremely helpful and child friendly, particularly Dean. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good as were the beers and the several rounds of babychinos for the toddlers.
J. O.
Love it here so much! Greta service and good food and drinks! Special mention to Emma for being really great and friendly! 🤍
S. M.
This is my local pub. Recommend it - come here regularly. Food is good. Dean is excellent at customer service and always sorts out any minor issues ☺️

Nice pub in Kilburn, good variety of beers including punk ipa and Camden pale ale. Great outdoors places, lovely looking restaurant serving British food. Nice decor and modern traditional English pub, perfect for a drink.
I.
Amazing drinks, service was great! Dean the barman gave us an informative gin tasting session!
K. M.
Great pub, Emma was amazing, knew out regular order and lovely service as always:))
D. M.
A near perfect pub. The food is great, solid ales and ciders on tap, sitting outside you can watch the endlessly entertaining chaos of Kilburn or just enjoy a quiet spot inside.
A. A.
Great food, good staff and good atmosphere. Not to mention Asahi on tap!
Came here for my birthday before heading out to Camden, had a great time and they really looked after us.
L. L.
Local boozer. Big & open inside. Good selection of spirits. Friendly staff.
Also seems to serve food as there were layed out tables but haven't eaten there so can't comment on the food
G. A.
Lovely pub. Lovely people and they’re all nice but Emma is definitely a sweetheart
A. M.
Lovely pub, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, always enjoy a chat with Emma!

Popped back in here having previously been put off by all the students outside but there was a nice selection of beer and the gentleman that served us was very friendly. Will definitely come back
R. W.
Excellent pub! Great food and range of drinks. Great service from Dean especially
P. S.
Delicious first ever Sunday Roast here at The North London Tavern. Had the pork belly roast and I absolutely devoured it! Definitely set a high standard for future Sunday roasts!
F. J.
My experience on the whole was positive when I came with a friend, and the staff were exceptionally polite and warm. The surroundings and atmosphere were welcoming.
S. J.
Great pub. Excellent service and great quality food. The quiz night is 👍😊
A. M.
Called in on a Sunday evening to do some travel organising. A lot of the tables were booked and the Sunday lunches coming out looked very yummy. We ended up leaving after a drink because it got way too loud when the quiz night started.
T. E.
The food is delicious and the waiting staff are really sweet, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed.
R. s.
First time visiting, attended the monthly comedy night which turned out to be the perfect remedy for a busy week at work. Very funny and entertaining acts. Overall a good fun night out.
I. D. L.
This is a lovely pub, with amazing service and delicious plates.
J. W.
Big pub near Kilburn tube and the Kiln theatre. Decent selection of beers and very friendly and helpful staff. I only dropped in for one drink with my wife, but the experience was exactly what I was after
V. S.
Friend and I came for dessert and it was so good we're planning on coming back for the whole menu!
D. B.
Great pub. Was welcomed by and introduced to Dean in such a nice friendly manner, and from then onwards the service was attentive, cheeky and not pushy. Decently priced beers and showing the football to boot! Couldn't ask more of a local pub.
F.
Classic pub. Dean is a great waiter – really friendly and helpful.
U. S.
Nice cosy but spacious pub, love the Christmas decorations and the actual fire in the fireplace!
F. S. E. L.
Went to the Rhinoceros Comedy night, had a great night, very interesting and lots of fun- Great pints of Guiness and Peroni and the staff were fantastic, really polite and friendly. Thank you!
K. H.
One of the softest most tender beef roasts I've had. It would have been a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ review if the food hadn't come slightly cold.
M. P.
Awesome food, fresh, tasty with a homemade quality. The terrine was amazing.
Staff are attentive and very friendly without being intrusive.
Highly recommended for a good drink and a decent bite to eat.
S. B.
Liked it in the 80s and early 90s after that it because a non Kilburn boozer, love the original styles and the marble channel running round the bar. Don't try and use it, those days are gone lol.
B. L.
Nice little location. Lots on tap. Good for a quick pop in for a pint.
T. T.
Welcomed back with open arms and enthusiastic interaction. Rose, Emma Alex and Dean were the people we spoke with. Lovely. Friendly. Accommodating. They couldn't have done more. Still a favourite. Love the people and place.
N. I.
Probably the best pub on the high road. The atmosphere is always amazing and the staff (particularly Dean and Zu) will always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome
L. G.
Great service and covid safety throughout the pub. Bought my family here who are all nervous of covid. They were blown away by the service from all the staff and hosts.
Tasty well cooked food, and the pork belly was enough for two :-)
If your going there the chicken terrine is a must!
E. H.
I love going to the North London! In my family it has always been known as my Grandad’s “office” because if he wasn’t working that’s where you could find him.
Today I introduced my American pal Grace to my Grandad’s Office and was so impressed and pleased with the service we received!
The food was AMAZING! & Dean took great care of us from the second we stepped through the door. Friendly, attentive & so happy!
Thanks for a great evening 🧡
O. J. C. R.
Spacious, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, weekend quizzes. Fish and chips is quite good too.
A. C.
Everything about this wonderful pub is top quality, the drinks, the food and especially the awesome staff. If it was possible I'd give this pub 10 stars!
J. M.
My partner and I Sunday dinner here weekend just gone and it was very tasty 👌 . They are really on making sure everything is clean and distanced . Full bellys for us and great service from Emma our server . Will defo be back
E. B.
Is a great place for you friends family the lads staffs is a good bunch music lots of space tax as you come out to take you home that's if you can find your house lol
R.
Very cheap for Kilburn, but it's a bit of a rough pub.
Not in terms of fights etc, but as in its run down.
D. C.
Nice atmosphere and friendly service but average food.
C. B.
Great staff, great food.
A bit on the expensive side however.
m. v.
Super friendly staff and food, I really recommend this pub
J. T.
Been coming here for years as it has always been great. I have to say, it has got even better of late. The staff yesterday were absolutely fantastic and very funny as well. Thank you NLT (or The Tav as we like to call it)
G. T.
Great pub. An historic one in London! The food is also absolutely delicious! Have a look to this gorgeous chicken pie I had!😋😋
T. J.
Lovely pub, very friendly staff, lots of choice of beers. Very welcoming
s. B.
Only one real ale on, they used to have at least two.
J. E.
Dean let us know about secret DJ. We control the playlist now.
V. 1. C.
Amazing experience on bank holiday , massive thank you to Rosie ! She’s the best ! Making our day special for me and my son.
We will be back. ! 😎💯
D. D.
Stopped off for a pint and a catchup with a friend, we were greeted and looked after by Rose🌹 who has the bright bubbly attitude you want to be greeted with, we managed to get a seat outside and ended up staying for a bite to eat am hour later instead of going where we were ment to, had another round of pints and a couple shots 😀 will defo be back
B. W.
We loved this tavern on a recent trip to London. The food was great especially the chicken roast and the fish/chips. We ate there 4 times because it was close to where we were staying. The staff were warm and welcoming each time. I have to give a little shout out to Dean who couldn't have been nicer. He only looked slightly puzzled when we asked him what the mashed peas were for. Thanks to everyone at the North London Tavern.
J. D.
Comfortable restaurant, good portion starter's and main meal good quality.
O. M.
Staff were so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. We could see surfaces thoroughly cleaned between customers. Overall the place felt really safe and we had a great evening.
E. R.
Friendly staff, lovely manager! Tasty food and drink but can be a bit limiting with dietary issues or vegan (the seaweed silken tofu is OK but I'm not inspired to cook it at home, usually cold salad is the alternative if soup has run out). Definitely worth a visit though especially for hot choc or a drink as there's a nice atmosphere. I hear the chicken club is amazing.
Food is not necessarily responsibly sourced (sometimes it is sometimes not) despite me bringing it up a few times in the last few years.
B. S.
Lovely environment, decent staff, great food and drink. Pricey, but it's a nice place in zone 2 so go figure.

Latest update, June 2021:
Delighted to be back in the pub after lockdown. Friendly, fun staff and the food was fantastic; brilliant fish and chips yet again, lovely mac & cheese croquettes, great wine and magnificent Gordal olives which I think were marinated in something. 5 stars!
Previous review, Jan 2020:
As a long-term regular I'm updating my review and upgrading to 4 stars again. On my last visit, they did a decent, if not perfect, job of servicing our table of 8, but the fish and chips, wow! I am an absolute connoisseur of this classic dish, and this was perfection. You could argue it's better than a 'classic' fish and chips, as the chef at NLT has mastered chips and serves delightfully crispy, posh ones. I love traditional chips too, but this was impressive. Even the batter had flavour and seasoning to it, and the cod was fresh and cooked on-point. Condiments also great. One of the best pubs in the area and they're trying to do proper pub food, classy without being pretentious. Wine's a bit pricey by the glass, but same everywhere.
First review:
A very nice pub which manages a decent balance between old and new. There are leather sofas, a gastro-pub style menu, and a very elegant and large dining room (tables not too close together, and interesting old photographs on the walls). Food and service is usually good to excellent, though they have their blips like most places. There are always nice wines, too.
A few years ago they did a refurbishment which many people didn't feel was necessary. Fortunately they didn't change too much, but they did appear to aim for a slightly more restrained crowd, for example there is no longer live football shown.
It's a nice pub in the week or a Sunday; much busier at weekends if you enjoy a bit more action.
Second review, edit 2018:
I still like this pub very much, but it's annoying when they struggle with restaurant service even when it's not remotely busy. The other night we were served totally unchilled white wine (just let us know, and ask if we still wish to purchase it?), and a side order was missing. Also, I appreciate the idea of open mic night, but we were in the restaurant partition - a proper (and splendid) eating area - and the cacophony spoiled our relaxation. That's bad enough, but being lectured by a student-age waitress that "it's free music, appreciate it" when we've been customers there for 10 years was galling.
S. W.
Good evening, and thanks for an unforgettable hour, having used your establishment for over 20 years , Which has included leaving , Christmas , and general gatherings I have never experienced such rude and obnoxious service in such a long time.whether Dean is a senior member of staff or not , I cannot believe the attitude and neither could my guests ! Surely in the current climate , staff or signage should state that service charge would be added to a customers bill ? Not until I left your building did Dean show me in such small writing in the bottom of a menu that this was the case .yes , we were refunded the charge but the attitude was quite incredible and so unnecessary. It will be interesting to see what reply I get as my colleagues were asked for my name by Dean once I had left. I hope it was for a “sorry “ card ! I await your response , thank you
G.
Great pub probably the best in Kilburn.
D. L.
Good food and attentive staff what more do you need
B. G.
Shots with the mandem after a good days work is rather special at this here tavern!
B. M.
It's a decent bar, food is nice, drinks are fine.
The men's toilet is a bit of a joke, see my photograph.
F. P.
Great pub! Good beer and amazing food! Staff are friendly
N. B.
Lilleys cider on tap and a great pub quiz!
G. W.
Nice enough, bit pricey. But good for being in between Brondesbury overground and kilburn jubilee line stations.
A. A.
We stopped in to make the most of the EOTHO offers. We had a few drinks and a burger too. Dean was kind and helpful as he explained how to use the track and trace and order online. Super friendly and attentive! Will definitely return again. Thanks NLT!
J. M.
The service from Dean and co. was five star. The drinks we had were five star. Unfortunately the food only warranted three stars but they were happy to provide a discount when we were prompted the mention some tough pork.
W.
Great food, drink & service, Dean did a fantastic job looking after us with our dietary needs. So glad to be back!
s. r.
we went for a sunday roast to the north london tavern. drinks was nice the food was delayed a little but was worth the wait, and to top the experience of the one of the waiters asked the manager can we have a dessert in compensation for the slight delay. this was a lovely gesture. overall good experience
S. S.
Good old fashioned pub, drinks about the same price as others in London although wine by the glass was limited to one type (rose), for the others you had to buy the bottle. Was hoping for a DJ Friday night but there wasn't one, but atleast you could have a conversation. The bar staff are attentive and don't leave you waiting long. Food looked good. All in all an OK place for a drink. And hand cream in toilets is excellent, always a plus!
M. P.
Mine and my partners go to for a afternoon bite to eat and drink, we was reccomended by the barman to try the charter pie. It was incredible. We even was allowed a sample of the wine before we bought a bottle. 5 stars from me
A. B.
Good pub. Great friendly staff.
Clean and organised.
Good range of beers.
M. D.
Had a very good and drunk Sunday in here a few weeks ago, the food was absolutely delicous, i had the pork chop with mash and although it was quite pricey at £17, i thought that all in all it justified the high price. My partner had the burger and she enjoyed her meal too.... the Peroni was well looked after and was a cracking pint. The staff i found pretty accommodating and friendly enough. I will definitely venture back soon and i recommend this bar for the food and the drinks.
L. H.
Absolutely wonderful staff, attentive warm and accomodating in every way. Particular thanks to Emma . Always feel at home when coming here. #halloumi fries for ever in my heart
T. G.
Dean with a D was a excellent host he definitely made sure that me and my guests was over pleased again hun thank u 😘😊
S. D.
The mushroom and lentils soup is awesome.
A. B.
Alex was lovely, all drinks made perfectly and a wonderful evening out. Will definitely come back.
L. A.
Great pub in North West London, superfriendly and considerate staff working there! The vegan fish and chips tastes amazing, you wouldn't believe it isn't fish! Perfect for spending your Sunday afternoon doing some business or meeting your family or friends. Located between Kilburn Station and Brondesbury Station, on Kilburn High Road. It's a little expensive, but the area is not a cheap one either, so it's just normal that pubs come with their prices, too.
I. B.
Amazing ambience and staff, cozy dining and lovely seasonal menus. Good for a pint with friends in the neighborhood or for a planned outing with your significant other. Whatch out for the live events: I am not entirely sure whether they still do that, since last time I went they were re-planning the calendar.
G. K.
A great place for larger groups. A little bar upstairs with a function room. Nice pub food and good selection of beers. Friendly bar staff and quick service. The only downside for me is the interior could be a bit more friendlier but that's just my personal view.
R.
Friendly staff great beer :)
M. M.
A brilliant local. Good choice of beers with guest ales, and a pub quiz on Sundays! Food is a little hit and miss, eaten there a few times with mixed reviews, but they do a cracking sticky toffee pudding!
E. D.
Very friendly and welcoming staff in a perfect London setting. They were very welcoming to our dogs!
H. H.
Nice enough staff and a decent beer selection, but in reality never really feels genuine.
The area itself is a traditionally Irish area, and somewhere you would expect a ‘local’ atmosphere, which the NLT doesn’t offer.
However, the opening hours are good and it’s one of the better options in Kilburn
T. W.
An excellent pub. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent range of beers. Stays open late at the weekend. Close to buses and Kilburn tube station as well as Brondesbury Overground station. I would thoroughly recommend it!!
C. J.
Really friendly staff - Emma was great!! Makes a difference being somewhere where service is attentive! Thanks again.
C. H.
Absolutely fabulous experience. The staff were polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, and the $umo ipa was spot on..the place became really by the time we left which is a true testament to the quality and atmosphere.
T. R.
Used the room above the pub last night for a private function: a presentation to friends and family of my new training business. Very informal but well equipped (PC Projector, Audio, Flip Charts etc.) and well looked after by the staff. With good food, drink and service downstairs too..
Y. S.
Lovely place to chill with a nice sitting area. Prices are reasonable but i must say the men’s toilet is a nightmare! Other than that a cosy place to grab few drinks.
D.
Was my local when I first moved to London. Weird mix of people on certain nights. Food is up and down depending on the night also. Relaxed atmosphere and service is very good!
D. F.
Nice spot to get a quick bite in. The food was really good. The buttermilk chicken was delicious and the flat iron steak was very tasty. Would definitely return for more.
O. M.
A good selection of beers and wines - but it's the food I normally go in here for. Simple, not pretentious but uses good ingredients (tells you the source of your food as well). Food menu isn't ever extensive - but that's partly what I like about this place - there's a good choice but never too much too choose from!
J. R.
Great atmosphere, been coming here for years. Welcoming, friendly staff -Dean is fantastic.
G. B.
It was OK. Nothing special. The average pub experience. It's conveniently located for Kilburn Station.
Was served fairly quickly, which is always appreciated. Especially when one is thirsty.
P. D.
Large place with good selection of beers. Lots of seating, both inside and outside. Had a TV too, but sadly weren't switched on for Cricket World Cup.
D. M.
Cosy, with friendly staff, many places to sit depending on preference and fairly clean toilets. Enough staff to keep waiting down to a minimum. Friendly open mic on Thursday evenings with local music students. Student discount is very reasonable (something like 20 percent).
A. M.
I had my birthday party with some friends and I've been served by Rodger and he was incredible. Great venue and amazing bartender. Highly recommend this pub/ restaurant with friendly staff and great prices.
A. A.
I had dinner at the North London Tavern yesterday night. I knew that the pub had hired a new chef a few months ago. For this reason, I thought that I should give the NLT a second chance. It turns out that I was right to do so! The quality of the food has improved significantly compared to what it was at the beginning of the year when I last had dinner there. I had the sea bream. My husband went for the rabbit. We both really enjoyed our dishes. It's not average pub food anymore. It's a proper restaurant. Yes!
The only thing which could be improved is the service. The waiter has this "chummy" style - it's a bit of an epidemic in London restaurants at the moment, I think. If he toned down his style a bit, that would be better for people like me who are not in their 20s anymore - unfortunately. ; )
There is now a good restaurant near the Tricycle cinema. Hurrah!
R. W.
We are very lucky to have this as our local in Kilburn. Good selection of beers, good food and good service. The quiz on a Sunday night is good too!
M. P.
Went for their Sunday Roast. I had the pork belly and it was one of the best pork belly roasts I've had in London. Crispy skin, yet juicy meat. Their side of cauliflower cheese is also a must! It comes with bubbling cheese... yum!
e. m.
Dean and Alex provided an absolutely amazing service! Friendly and chatty, perfect after a long shift!
N. P. d. B.
Nice quality locally sourced pub in london. If you are looking for a "nicer quality & nicer atmosphere" kind off place, this is really good.
N. O.
Went for Mother's Day (last sitting) unfortunately the Sunday dinner was cold but it was very tasty so asked for more hot gravy the manager came over apologised profusely and took out mains off the bill and gave free glasses of prosecco for the mum's which was lovely. Will definitely for back and give it another try.
S. “. D.
Love the new vegan/vegetarian menu. Staff are friendly.
J. F.
Had the pork belly, absolutely lovely, roast potatoes were, frankly, awesome. Dad enjoyed his rump steak too, and he's pretty picky! Defo hipster hangout, well at least in terms of a few of the staff but that's cool: I don't mind being outcooled by guys with truly awesome beards! Service was quick but not too quick implying they actually had to cook my food! Real ale selection is good though I am yet to get a decent head on my beer, but maybe this is what they mean when northerners say you can't get a decent beer in London?
A.
A classic pub with original and amazingly tasty food! I loved the atmosphere in there as well. Nice and friendly staff.
E. K.
The food portions need to be a little more generous - especially for the roast beef on a Sunday! One small slab of beef for 17 quid, and had to send it back as it wasn't pink at first. Oh and the tempura prawns are 4 in total for £8. All in all, go for a drink instead!
A. R.
Good atmosphere, nice selection of beers, but Beaverton beers were a bit pricey at £6.50. Think I'll stick to their casque ales next time which were all under a fiver.
W. M.
Always very friendly staff contributing to a great atmosphere. butter chicken burger is TINY though and for £14 is a little disappointing if you've got a big appetite
A. B.
Had a lunch here whilst watching a game of Rugby on the weekend. The pub is an open venue, with a side section that is focused on the restaurant. Two decent sized tv's in the pub area for the Rugby mean you can sit most places and see the game. Seats are a mixture of mini stools, chairs and leather couches. Obviously you want the later to maximise comfort.
For entree I had some oysters, which were lovely and fresh, served with lemon and a vinaigrette (or Tabasco sauce). For main I had the steak, with chips and greens for around £19 and it was delicious, though i'd like to have more greens/vegetables with it. Other mains are cheaper than that, by reports of my dining companions their meals of salads and fish and chips were also delicious.
Service was good, with orders taken at the bar in the pub section and we didn't have to wait long for our meals.
T. H.
Not a terrible pub. Mixed bag of staff, some are great others down right rude!!! Need to sort out the gents urgently, currently you need to use it you are basically swimming not walking as the floor is disgusting!!
C. D.
Good fish and chips with friendly staff
C. S.
pretty nice place with solid traditional food and great beer. the atmosphere is typical British and the stuff is very friendly.
E. B.
Had a Sunday meal here today and it was beautiful. Plenty of choice for vegetarians too. Highly recommended too. Will be going back there again in the near future.
A little pricey but the portions were huge.
F. B.
Visited for a Sunday roast, restaurant was very busy the both waiters seemed to be very busy, the rush for the pub quiz caused abit of panic but we was served with a smile and a very polite gentleman called Dean who intruduced himself we was recommended on what meal to have, and even gave us a sample of the new beers that have been introduced into the pub, overall great experience and will return and try the quiz next time.
E. D.
Really warm and friendly pub
T. R.
I really love this place for a quick drink after work or somewhere to spend the evening. It's usually pretty busy so there can sometimes be a wait before you can find a table but they have a lot of good beers on draft and a wide bottle selection.
M. P.
Decent boozer, usually they have 4 real ales and a few craft beers too. A good wine list, but a bit pricey. Haven't eaten here.
S. G.
A bit pricey, definitely in the gastropub category, but very good nonetheless. Usually has 4 guest ales on. Great steaks. One of the better pubs in Kilburn
C. H.
Absolutely spotless. Food delicious. Staff so professional. Emma was so friendly. 5 Stars 🌟 for her. Fantastic Customer Service
Z. S. M.
Friendly staff and lovely bloody mary.
W. B.
I like this pub a lot but £6.65 for a pint of Gamma Ray is a lot for Kilburn. It's also one of those pubs where there's nowhere to sit when it's fairly empty due to a poor seating plan.
Z. H.
Very nice, typical english pub. The stuff is absolutely great, very friendly. Perfect place to hang out with a friend for a pint or two! ;)
N.
Nice pub in Kilburn. We had a fantastic Scotch Egg. The menu looked interesting but we had a reservation in another place so we could not stay for dinner.
D. H.
Nice food and great service
E. d. S.
Food is good but it is overpriced. They charge excessive amount for service charge and now 1 pound for a charity (optional).
We saw a mouse hanging around the tables and we decided to leave.
R. J.
Great beer, great vibes, the bartender was new and made sure that I was happy with my drinks, very chappy cheerfully lad from Liverpool. I will be back.
C. M.
Very helpful staff. Asked for an item off of the brunch menu out of the allotted time. The gentleman serving che asked the chef if it was possible to put order through which they were happy to do.
B. M.

We ate there twice as it was in the neighborhood we we're staying in a VRBO. Had a wonderful beef pie and recommend the Grilled Lemon Chicken. Good food, good customer service.

This gastro pub always has a selection of Ales on tap and great food. Plus the atmosphere is good and spacious seating. My favourite pub in Kilburn.
R. G.
It's Kilburn High Road, you need a refuge, and this is it!
Sadly, however, the Guvnor has mental problems, bans people with no reason. I walked in for the first time in months, never had a row, yet he screamed, "You're banned".
Weird. I've never had a word in dispute, and no one has ever seen me drunk.
Depressing, but that's life. A new guy will follow him in time.

A Sunday lunch to die for or at least travel all the way from Dorking 🤣👍

Went for Mother's Day (last sitting) unfortunately the Sunday dinner was cold but it was very tasty so asked for more hot gravy the manager came over apologised profusely and took out mains off the bill and gave free glasses of prosecco for the mum's which was lovely. Will definitely for back and give it another try.
A. A.
I had dinner at the North London Tavern yesterday night. I knew that the pub had hired a new chef a few months ago. For this reason, I thought that I should give the NLT a second chance. It turns out that I was right to do so! The quality …
