Reviews of The Orange Public House & Hotel Victoria

Went on a Sunday and I have to say the roast is very good, and majority of staff serving you and seating you are very polite and welcoming.
One of the girls behind the bar could do with being a bit better trained in talking to customers, just with some general manners. But apart from that this is a lovely place!
Will return for sure!

Great Great food- really, even beyond expectations and food wise, I am not easy to please.
The folks helping us were also really professional and hands on. The room is fine if a little bit too plain. Very good overall. Thank you.

Good food and very warm cozy Christmassy vibe. It feels right to be having a Sunday roast here. It feels even more right to do that in the lead up to the Christmas holiday.
The big windows and the cozy looking wooden furniture create a comfortable feeling.
The food was good, but the truffle fries were next level. The apple pie delicious, and quite enticing in appearance.

The service offered by Terrence, their lovely waiter is immaculate. We've celebrated mum's birthday and staff were very attentive, accommodating, polite but not intruding and incredibly friendly. Food was nice, venue has a good atmosphere and most tables booked for dinner on a Tuesday night which is always a good sign. Fabulous service and reasonably priced for the area. Thanks Terrence once again for your lovely service! Renate

❤️ A beautifully unique and popular venue set amongst the independent shops and restaurants around Orange Square in Belgravia.

The Orange is a bit of a hybrid venue, is it a pub, is it a restaurant or is it a Hotel? Well I suppose it is a bit of all three. I visited here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was very busy with the majority of punters in the dining area enjoying the posh nosh served here. I ordered a beer at the bar and found a small table to perch at. The service was swift, even though the ladies behind the bar were rushed off their feet. The decor here is very stylish and has a slightly Cuban feel to it. A great feature of this place is the high ceilings which helps to carry the buzzing atmosphere. This place has an eclectic music playlist, I Believe In Miracles by The Jackson Sisters came on which is a favourite tune of mine and then The Eye of The Tiger from Rocky III, a bit of something for everyone.
.
I like to explore and experience all different types of pubs across London but I’m not convinced I can call this place a pub, maybe its a bar or gastropub, I’m still not sure. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great social space in stunning surroundings and it was packed with people having a great time. If I was to visit again, I would probably come on date night as it seemed a great place to bring your nearest and dearest.

The staff were really great
Quick to say Hi, serve with a smile
This was on Thursday afternoon great young lady and guy behind the bar..
My negative feed back is the limited bar menu, and oh boy was it cold really cold..
I’ve eaten in the restaurant many times again great food and service ..

Space is good, we sat at the upstairs restaurant area. There food is at approx 30 pounds per plate so you expect a perfect service/something special. Our waitor was very helpful and friendly but seems like he was fighting a losing game. We asked for medium well done steaks and they arrived raw with the servers not really having a clue how the steak was served when they gave it to us. No training as to what is important in a steak?
We asked for specific type of beer and were given completely different ones on two occasions. How is it possible that even beer typr and brand gets mixed up?
And finally there was even a mix up at the time of paying, thank God we checked the bill otherwise we would have paid 30 pounds extra for someone else's cocktails. Overall really poor organisation on this occasion.. The staff are trying hard so thank you, but not there yet for an expensive restaurant-type experience..

Very disappointing. It is very nosey. The drinks and wine are very expensive and the old fashion not up to our expectations. We ordered the special roast beef and found it to be very chewy and tough. The staff are nice and accommodating but will not return as it was not a comfortable experience or quality meal.

I went here on Friday night for a couple of drinks and some food. The staff went well out of their way to make sure it was a very enjoyable experience. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend to anyone else. A special thank you to Eva and Taj who were fantastic.

To Nancy and the team at The Orange… thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Ben and I had the most AMAZING time on Friday and we have you to thank for how fabulous it all was! The room was beautiful, the food was excellent and I have received nothing but compliments and high praise since! A special thanks to Nancy for being so responsive, professional and understanding beforehand- even when we had to postpone our date and I had a million and one questions. But it was the BEST day ever… we wish we could do it all again!!
R. T.
It was amazing having an event with you. The pre event set up was so easy. And the team on the night were incredible especially Faye who looked after us so well all night. Food was also incredible. All our guests said how great everything was. It exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much!
B. H.
First time here as a treat for my mother. Superb Sunday lunch, we both had the roast lamb which was cooked perfectly and loved the fact that gravy was served in a large pot to share between the two of us. Lovely roast potatoes, veg and wonderful Yorkshire Pudding. The accompanying Mint sauce was a revelation.
Left just enough room.to share the pecan and apple desert, has to be one of the best we've ever had.
All in all a great meal topped off by exceptional service. Will definitely be coming back
N. I.
Cosy dining in an modern European restaurant in a gastropub. Good service. Not cheap (burgers were overpriced) but good cooking.
E. K.
We hosted a small wedding reception in the Ebury Room for 20 of our closest friends and family and it was fantastic!! Our guests raved about the food and the staff was so efficient and friendly. The events manager Nancy was so incredible in getting everything organised for us, I didn't have to worry about a thing. I recommend booking this venue for any event that you have! We will be back for sure :)
W. G.
Great cocktails, especially the House Collins! Excellent location and very friendly staff (particularly the waitresses and hostess). Delicious food (compliments to the chef) and looking forward to more vegan options in the future! Would recommend 5/5
S. H.
Lovely place. Great atmosphere. Wine selection was great. Only issue was staff didn’t have a complete understanding of the menu.
J. M.
Amazing service from attentive staff which is complimented by a selection of great dishes. Every time is a please to go
D. P.
We were there after the Chelsea Flower Show, and as usual it was busy, but charming helpful staff found us the table we’d asked for, also helped us out with luggage etc - we love The Orange! And of course delicious food!
G. P.
Excellent service, enjoyed our Sunday lunch. Our server introduced herself and took good care of us, tables nicely spaced out, Sunday roast of beef was good but not amazing when comparing to their sister pub in Marylebone. Pizzas are tasty and freshly made (for those who want something else). Desert was superbly presented baked apple pie with pecan, salted caramel and vanilla ice cream. Will come again.
G. P.
Food was delicious (especially the pizzas), room was set up nicely - our booking timing ran out and the staff then arranged for our group to move areas seamlessly. The staff were friendly and accommodating for the whole time we were there, absolutely brilliant time, thank you.
G. M.
Had such a great experience. The food was a little delayed but once it came was to die for. The waiter, Miguel, made up for the delay by being very Apologetic and attentive. Would definitely recommend
K. T.
We came to experience your ‘farm to fork’ experience but there was very little to experience. One Aberdeen Angus steak on the backboard and a Braised Beef special the waiter even after asking the chef the most he could only find the origin as ‘Sirloin’. Not good enough, you are falsely presenting The Orange as a Gastro Pub and it isn’t. You are whitewashing the whole ‘fork to table’ philosophy and it’s just lazy! You can do better. Very surprised Mark Leatham let’s you align your brand to his. Disappointing.
A. K.
Great Sunday roast. Eva in particular was brilliant, helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had a really lovely lunch. Brilliant hospitality!
T.
The staff seemed to forget about us but they were well-informed and very friendly whenever we interacted. I also can't understand why I wasn't shown to my table especially that the place has lots of different rooms and areas. I was sent to wonder. We went for a Sunday roast, I'm vegetarian and it was nice that they had the option that I could also have a roast. There were also plenty of nice nonalcholic drink options. All in all the food was good and interior is amazing. I enjoyed the experience, just a few things could have been different.

Amazing food, brilliant service, especially from Hridayaa.
The private dining area was lovely.
Thank you
T. M.
Great food, drinks and atmosphere, along with staff service which was excellent.
A. M.
Both we and the dog were made welcome. The food we had was good and my plain chips were divine.
T. F.
Eva is a true gem - with the difficulty of Covid over Xmas and trying to organise a 40 person lunch that ended up being 8 (!), Eva and her team looked after us impeccably. Thank you!
R. F.
Great experience! came with couple of friends and loved the wine:) Staff were friendly and helping in particular "Taj" who took care of us in every way and even offered water for my dog. Will be making a booking with the husband soon hope to recieve the same experience. Food was a little on the expensive side which did set me back on ordering more but was worth the hospitality I received!
j. i. c.
Very cool place, good food. Expensive. Book before going as it is always full.
E. R. H.
Friendly, accommodating staff, a great wine list and a good menu even on a Sunday (not just roasts!). They were attentive and concerned when one of our friends failed to show up, thanks to train difficulties, and did what they could to provide food beyond the usual time.
J. &. A. W. N. M. R.
Genuine hospitality. Our waiter Miguel was wonderful. Be sure to ask for him when you dine here.
J. W.
Fairly poor customer service experience. When I arrived, my friends were already at the table, so I was told to just go upstairs by the staff. They were not upstairs, so I asked another staff member to check, and she informed me the table was downstairs. I went back down to ask where exactly (having never been here) and was told around the corner. Very annoying that someone couldn't just have taken me to the table. Then orders were not taken for 20-25min, it was difficult to get the waitress' attention for water refills, and the pudding menu was left with us for half an hour, no one coming take our order.
Honestly sub par service for the price of food.
S. I.
My son booked his wedding here and I was the planner and I've got to say it was absolutely beautiful. They let us use the L shaped dining room for the wedding dinner, when we had only booked the Pimlico room for the day. Nancy the event manager was amazing and was in regular contact with me to take any stress off. The food was delicious and service at dinner was beyond excellent. The staff took care of everything and I am truly grateful to them for making the day spectacular without any problems whatsover.
S. M.
A rather different menu to a few years ago but had halibut as a main and special which they had run out of by 3 pm Saturday and quite a few other items. Very disappointed. If I had really wanted pizza I would have gone elsewhere
P. W.
I have been to the Orange with my team before and as usual it was delightful. Will certainly be back again soon.

Great Job Taj👌 Came here yesterday with friends for drinks after work quite a bit busy then my liking near the bar area but he handled it very well had a good conversation with him was very professional wasn't much hungry wanted something small and he recommended me a pizza can't remember what it was exactly called but seem to have some white cream on it and was absolutely banging.good lad will definitely be back soon to try some more food 👍
G. P.
It is by far one of the best roasts in London. Terrific cocktails, atmosphere, service and wine list. Love it.
A. P.
We ate here on 29th August in the evening. Service would have been terrible if it wasn’t for Terance (think I have spelt that correctly) who saved the day. Food however was fantastic.
L. W.
Sadly below average Sunday roast Pork roast came without crackling on both orders we had (even though mentioned on the menu), the portion size was small and the flavour of the overall food very bland. Not a good value for money.
The staff was really nice but a bit slow taking orders.
I would recommend the place for drinks but regarding the food I would try somewhere else.
(Haven't tried the pizza's yet though)
J. M.
Attended a beautiful wedding reception here last Saturday - Edward & Marta Mason. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, super hosts. The Orange is a fabulous place to be. Really really good.
E. O.
Delicious, but some of the main dishes are way too small. I ate venison and it was perfectly cooked, but was more the size of the appetizer. The burger was a good sized dish and very tasty. I have heard that pizzas are delicious. The restaurant was fully booked on a Saturday night, so it is better to pre-book a table in advance.
H. R.
Had a Sunday Roast here. It was delicious!
C. S.
Made room for us even though they were very busy and gave us some very nice steak. Full marks.
E. C.
Lovely place and atmosphere
Service is very friendly
Pizzas are lovely great seasonal menu
D. W.
Good beer range. Great pizzas.
Get a table - standing can be a bit busy (pre covid)
K. H.
Friendly and professional service, good Covid safety, and very good food. Pie of the day was delicious and starter sharing platter really good - lovely salt and pepper squid. Nice airy venue, and still has a pub atmosphere.
C. E.
Delicious food, friendly service. It is quite busy so reservation is required. However, they were kind enough to seat 5 of us. It is great for groups too. Quite trendy crowd but also couples or groups with children come too. Pet friendly, they even bring a bowl of water for our little friends. You wouldn't be disappointed if you visited. Definetely try the apple pie for dessert.
I. K.
It's a very interesting place to visit for your food and drinks. Well presented and clean. The staff very professional. Will definitely go there again and again.
N. M.
Great cocktails, delicious Angus beef
I. V.
Great cocktail menu, very nice staff. Nothing much to eat to my taste, it's quite pub-like food, but good for evening drinks. You'd be expected to give your name and contact details at the entry for one person, if there are more of you, you'll need to fulfill an online form when you connect to wi-fi, but it takes a minute or so. Few outside tables, plenty of tables on both floors, spaced out a bit for social distancing.
R.
Great place. Full of character and great choice of drinks. Also food was excellent and service was friendly.
I. S.
What an amazing place. You should visit ASAP.
K. W.
We were seated in the upstairs dining room, which is lovely with open fireplaces. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Good selection of both food and drink. Food was excellent. Prawn starter was very flavourful, Goats cheese mousse was extremely tasty and had plenty of truffle shavings. Fresh bread was warm and tasty. Venison main was exceptional - beautiful medium rare meat, melted in the mouth, and accompanying croquettes had a good crunch on the outside and tasty in the middle. Burrata Pizza was excellent, lots of flavour and a really good serving of burrata. Dauphinoise was excellent. Apple Pie had a great caramel, Meringue Pie had a good zing. Definitely will go again.
N. B.
Went here for the first time last Saturday. This places is great. The food is delicious. I had the grass fed rib eye. They have a good selection of wines and cocktails and for where the restaurant is located it is averagely priced. If you are looking for a decent restaurant in the Victoria area the give this place a try.
S. E.
A friend was celebrating their birthday here with a group and arranged a lovely menu with a choice of starters, mains and desserts. The food was excellent. I enjoyed burrata, haddock and pineapple carpaccio. The food was delicious — traditional flavours and fresh produce. The venue has an English gastropub feel. Service was friendly. Things were a little slow at the bar. All in, a good evening enjoyed by all.
Z. L.
Amazing staff, I arrived late with my baby and my food had gone cold, the lovely member of staff very kindly offered to reheat it. This place is family and baby friendly. Pleasant and polite staff. Latte was delicious. Will certainly visit again and would highly recommend!
M. C.
The roast was good but the Yorkshire pudding a bit dry with no gravy boat. The bar seemed a bit chaotic with glasses piling up by the old safe area, it wasn't particularly busy. This didn't give the impression of efficiency. I enjoyed my visit so will return.
S. B.
Honestly wasn't expecting much as a local pub but was blown away at the flavours of the salt and pepper squid and truffle fries as well as the beef tartare and sticky toffee pudding. Would highly recommend
R. W.
Charming boozer with charming staff, who were a little disorganised but very likeable. Truffle chips were delicious.
A. T.
Arrived for an Xmas set menu. Really packed on a Friday. Was a bit hectic getting our table and some confusion over the menu we had booked. However, the waitress was personable and efficient. The food completely redeemed the awkward beginning. All 3 courses and side were well presented and generous. Moist turkey! A rarity. Really good roast potatoes. Burrata really good and desert enjoyable (though portion difference between some dishes like between the chocolate dish and the apple pie dish quite large -- but still decent). I think the price was reasonable for the location and quality.
It would be good if there was a waiter welcoming people at the pub entrance so you know where to go; or even a sign stand at the entrance. And some kind of electronic buzzer system to take with you to the bar would really lift the stress from the staff who are wondering if the customer is going to come back to collect their empty table. Some small improvements on the detail would take it to five stars; but thanks for the good food during really busy conditions.
Drinks selection was nice as well. Toilets clean and a nicely furnished wine bar downstairs. Take the bar seats away from the main bar at busy times; oblivious people selfishly hog them and block 30% of the bar which also makes it really hard for the bar staff to fairly serve all people as their attention is split. Seems a bit mean but would benefit everyone. I hope this feedback is useful; too many people give negative reviews without being specific enough about what could be done to make things a tiny bit better :).
Overall, I'd come back.
S. S.
Pleasantly surprised that this little spot was as great as it was. The food was really good: we ordered a burger, salad, and shared their apple pie. It is open late so we were able to eat here late on a Wednesday night. For drinks we cider and beer, but will mention the wine selection was excellent.
Service was kind and fast... They even gave us a free beer when they messed up what beer we ordered (we got to try something new).
Highly recommended. If I lived in London, would make this a regular spot.
C. J.
The food was average and very expensive for pub food - if you want a meal, I suggest crossed the road and eating at the poule au pot instead. Good selection of drinks and the prices of those aren’t outrageous.
S. M.
A good pint of Guinness, welcoming staff.
d.
Absolutely love this place!! Their Sunday roast (the single best British tradition) is one of the best in London. I highly recommend to get the roast to share and I prefer the lamb. The service was good, as well as the place. It’s very cozy.
The prices are great in relation quantity, quality
A. R.
Great restaurant with a cosy feeling (fireplaces, wood interior etc.) Food is very good but portions can be small so with starters it comes to a pricey meal. Nevertheless worth going to celebrate special occasion. It's better to book in advance and they have some bigger table for groups. The staff is very nice, the food can take a while so it's best for slow dining.
C. H.
Only had dinner & drinks but amazing drinks (drinks menu was a bit soft/sweet for my liking though) and outstanding food. They change the menu every 3 months (assuming that's seasonal) and serve a mix of modern European food with classic and very well made pizzas as well. Octopus was the best I'd had outside of Spain (if not the best ever) and the pizza on par or better than Rome. I'm a hash judge of food but that meal was absolutely fantastic. Service was prompt, polite and familiar. Professional without being stuffy.
T. F.
Love this place and the food was amazing... lovely staff, great service and very good wine at a reasonable price .. highly recommended
M. h.
The Orange pub was a great place to stay. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Our room was at the rear, quiet and we had some great nights sleep. Food was tasty - brilliant vegan food, and pub food. Highly recommended.
A. W.
Food was good. Maybe took a little too long to arrive (restaurant was pretty empty). Friendly staff but not super knowledgeable (let me check with my manager was repeatedly said). Overall an enjoyable evening.
K. D.
The Orange has always been one of my favourite Sunday roast spots in London.
Several years on, its losing some its lustre on our last visit. Portions were smaller than they used to be, and not as tasty (although my beef was delightfully rare).
Our waitress was lovely, but seemed to struggle with everything, aided by a misfiring kitchen; we waited too long for everything; drinks, menus, ordering, food, correction to food, check, paying the check!
Still very good, but would no longer make my top 10 list.
J. E.
Went this Friday to their restaurant for lunch with a friend, and we paid by card while chatting and saying our goodbyes, so I only realised when I got my bank statement that they had charged the full bill to my card, although my friend had paid half the bill already before me - so basically we/I paid 170% of the bill (since we left also a cash tip)!
Food was very good though (Burrata, Pie of the Day, Pizza).
Update 10.12.: Manager was dealing really quickly with my complaint and issued refund. Hence, have changed rating.
A. C.
Only visited the pub/bar for drinks. Small, popular with after-work drinkers -- seating in the bar is at a premium. Small but decent range of beers, but house white wine cost £8+ -- was a nice wine but hurts the pocket if you're only after a quick drink. Nicely furnished and a good spot for people watching if you grab a stool by the windows. Basically, a safe spot for a quick drink if you're in the area and I'd imagine the food in the restaurant is good.
A. G.
Always good. Excellent service. Lots of space and tables, enormous area downstairs. V popular Thurs & Fri evenings, so much that there are always many outside around a few tables. Orange Sq and the charming statue of Mozart as a boy in th square.
p. s.
Probably the best meal and service we have ever had in London in 17 years. The upstairs restaurant is light and aire, with good space between tables. Our waitress recommended a hot Gin (yes we had to ask twice ) it was amazing. The food and service was the best we had, not rushed excellent advise and brilliant food. Can't fault this place
J. M.
Great food. Friendly service. Very nice restaurant. We had a very enjoyable lunch at The Orange earlier today and we were delighted with our starters. I had pork croquette with baked apple sauce, which was absolutely delicious. My partner had the poached trout with English peas and a spiced seaweed cracker, which she thoroughly enjoyed. For a main course I had the pan-roasted chicken with fondant potato, leeks, pancetta and baby onion jus ... which was as good a main course meal as I have had in any restaurant for quite some time. Tasty, well cooked and very well presented. My partner, unfortunately, chose to order the Chicken Caesar salad which was frankly nasty and, despite the manager’s explanation to the contrary, we considered it to be undercooked. Definitely a dish to avoid unless you’re keen on pink chicken ! As for our two desserts ... well, like our starters, they were both excellent. I had the Bramley apple pie with pecans, salted caramel and vanilla ice cream. The best restaurant-served apple pie in my memory. My partner had the vanilla custard panna cotta with berries, raspberry meringue and strawberry gelato. She said it was superb and I totally concurred. I had three spoonfuls of her dessert to be doubly certain that I agreed with her assessment of the lovely looking pudding.
Overall we were delighted with the food. It was well above our expectations and we are both very much looking forward to another visit to The Orange some time soon. Won’t be ordering the chicken Caesar salad though !
On the service front ... it was friendly and efficient despite the restaurant being nearly full to capacity. Thank you to our waiter, Slawek, and his colleagues for making our visit today so extra enjoyable. I think that the Polish word which Slawek used was “Najlepszego” which apparently translates in English to “All the best”. Very appropriately we thought.

I was passing through London via Victoria and happened upon The Orange. The food was delicious - I had the trout, and both the fish and skin were perfectly cooked. It's a nice location, clean and bright on the inside. In and out in under an hour, and it was a lovely, relaxing meal.
C. S.
My boyfriend booked a meal here for my birthday. Venue was beautifully decorated in a simple modern style, which had been matched well to the period building.
Our food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced considering the very high quality. Service was perfect - attentive without being intrusive.
I would happily eat there every birthday!
D. N.
We had a delicious meal at the The Orange, with fantastic service and a great bottle of wine. We were a walk-in of two people on a Thursday evening and were offered a limited time table, which was extended once we'd sat down so we never felt like we were in a rush. The market fish (hake when I was there) was fantastic and cooked to perfection, as was the spelt base pizza. Thoroughly recommend!
A. B.
Staff - friendly but a bit on the edge to sell. To keen to fill your wine but perhaps not so keen on filling the water glasses.
Prices - acceptable given the area.
Ambiance - 5/5 of you like the vintage and quirky look and feel.
Food - delicious, beautifully presented with economic portions.
Too keen to add service charge costs even for pulling a pint at the bar - but you know what to do - this is not America - employees in London get a minimum wage and if they don't they should take up with their employer. So if you prefer to tip as you please no visible frowns.
Would I go back - I keep going back. It is one of my preferred bars / restaurants.
N. T.
Went for dinner in the upstairs restaurant, our waiter, Gareth, was superb, attentive and professional (a lost art in London nowadays). The food was excellent, we had mains and desserts, chicken, pork and trout all delicious and excellent apple pies/cookies etc. Desserts seem a bit steep on the menu but are worth the money, again, a rarity. Would go again.

1st Visit.
It could be good of the staff was nicer. We asked the restaurant manager to bring a few more chair outside. He gave us a very long explanation how they were closing the outside area in 30 minutes. We come back 2 hours later for dinner and people are still sitting outside. We were very confused. Then with the dinner table they made is so complicated. I think they are trying to be more posh than they are. Bread was nice. I didn't like the pie. Really nothing special but a lot of attitude.
2nd visit
I came back here full of hope that my first bad impression was an accident. The place seem popular, so there must be something good about this place. But again, it was another disappointment. Slow and bad service. We had to wait longer than 20 minutes for someone to take our order, the waiters weren't particularly friendly and seemed overworked. Then we had to ask at least 5 times for a some lime, they kept forgetting. The food is nothing special, none of us really enjoyed it. I asked for some matched sweet potato with my stake, they gave me one table spoon of it (on the picture). Then when I asked to cook my stake a bit longer because it was too raw, they brought it back without my tiny amount of sweet potato. Btw, the waitress didn't ask how I want my stake, she just assumed it should be raw. So it was.
3 stars for nice design and good location. The rest is not worth the visit.
S. S.
Had lunch here and, while quiet, there was a reasonably nice atmosphere. The Adnams beer on tap was good, and the Rib-Eye Steak was excellent (other meals at the table also looked good). My only criticism would be that we were sat near the open door and there was quite a fierce wind blowing in - enough that I was worried about my food going cold quickly.
O. V.
Nice pizza and good service. We were there on good Friday so it wasn't too busy which meant we could have the table for a few hours. The staff were lovely and facilities clean and comfortable. Will come back here again

I am a regular at The Orange and all my friends I have taken there absolutely love it. Their apple pie is impossible to beat. Downstairs can get noisy so if you want a quieter meal, I would recommend booking upstairs.
D. S.
Lovely gastropub/restaurant in Pimlico. Halfway between Victoria Station and Sloane Square. Great Sunday Lunch and accommodates large groups.
Marketed as a hotel too but with just four bedrooms. Had the pleasure of staying in one of the superior rooms a couple of years ago - a corner room full of natural light. Far more special than faceless corporate hotels nearby. Highly recommended!
D. H.
Excellent meal on Good Friday. But it's pretty rich being charged a donation to an environmental charity, when we asked for the radiator to be turned off, only to be told it was not possible, "But I can open the window". This was on a 20 degrees C evening, with the Extinction Rebellion protestors just round the corner. I suggest management spend less time writing Sustainability statements, and more time training staff how to adjust the plumbing!
H. B.
Attended wedding reception at the Orange, great food, great drinks, lovely pub with buzzy atmosphere. Highly recommended.
B. M.
Super nice hotel in a cool neigbourhood. We loved staying there last week. Breakfast and drinks were really nice too... I would just not recommend the dinner there : it was convenient but nor the service nor the taste of the meal is really exceptional.
C. S.
I had dinner here last night. Scallops to start and the special rabbit pie as the main. The food was excellent and service superb. My main complaint is that the wine was too expensive for the quality received. I definitely recommend this place and will return, but I hope the wine list improves.
Y. G.
Amazing place! We had a wonderful evening. The taste of the meal was great and the service was excellent from the beginning to the end by our french waiter. We’ll be back soon.
P.
Nice restaurant located along Pimlico Road, about a 5 minute walk from Sloane Square. Inside it has a kind of rustic feel to it with nice wooden tables, the decor works well! Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, and the staff were attentive and friendly, but without being overbearing. The exterior of the building also looks inviting, as does much of the architecture in this area.
Z. C.
Good food and polite service. However, the place gets really noisy because it is all wooden design. Even the slightest sounds are loud inside so that quite conversations with more than 2 people are difficult/close to impossible to have.
D. R.
Went again and up'ing my review from 3 to 4 stars. Ate upstairs in the dining room this time which had a great atmosphere. Service was excellent in a 'barely notice they're there' kind of way. Potted Pork to start, Steak, Guinness and Cheddar pie for mains both excellent. Interestingly following up on Islington Foodie there was a delay with a pizza someone in our party ordered apparently its made in a different kitchen but nothing too far out of the ordinary or of any concern.
O. M.
I didn't like the chili squid at all, it didn't taste crispy and fresh. The beef tartare was good, though. In general taking into account the prices, I wouldn't visit this place again.
a.
What a lovely place! Food was on point but what made my lunch special was the lovely service from Vicky and Germain! Thanks so much guys for an amazing experience, BEST HOSPITALITY EVER! Being telling everyone about it! Will come back soon and ask about you! Thanks both!xxx
M. S.
Unique dishes and dessert wines - the chili lime calamari should become a staple trend at more places. Beautiful service. Cozy, ambient, elegant atmosphere.
A. L.
All the menu choices I would have liked were not available. Also very noisy.
A. B.
Nice place. Decent pizza. Small selection of non-lager. Very slow service at the bar. Half of the staff seemed to be just serving drinks to people sat down for food.
D. W.
We had a meal last night in the function room and genuinely didn't expect the quality of food we received. Along with sterling service we couldn't have wished for more. What an amazing place The Orange is.
N. B.
Nice place and good restaurant to have dinner and some pints with friends
T. M.
Great Sunday lunch, this is a busy place with a lot of table and still received good service and didn't wait long for the food. Roast was good. Burger also very good. Kids were happy with their meal as well.
N.
Great Place, great Service. Amazing food. I do recomend!
G. K.
Beautiful food (try the partridge), warm atmosphere. Bar below can get noisy, but not in a way that detracts from the atmosphere. Not cheap, but we felt it offered strong value for the quality of food and service.
P. A.
I ordered the veal shoulder, pizza for the kid and seabass special for the wife. Absolutely fabulous food. The interior is cozy and very hip. A bit noisy from the pub next door but it's not bad.
S. O.
Well, been going there for over 30 years and still my favorite pub in London. Cannot fault the food, and there is good beer to drink. It's almost a brasserie in a pub, the best of both worlds; you can eat and drink from breakfast to midnight.
B. V.
Beautiful gastropub. Sophisticated clientele. Great location. It is a very good restaurant to entertain friends who are visiting London because this is gorgeous looking pub with great food and comfortable seating. Casual but smart. I cannot remember the food but the ambience is lovely. Service is professional as expected. Price is Pimlico price ie. expensive.
B. R.
Popped in here for a drink before dinner elsewhere. Friendly bar staff, and some really good cocktails on offer. The food sounded interesting and looked/smelled good; might have to come back to try it!
C. N.
As a regular patron of The Orange I can safely say that this is our favourite local restaurant and bar. Always going above and beyond to treat visitors like family it's hard not to feel at home here (many thanks to the manager Rob!) Fabulous food and outstanding service - particularly from our favourite server Angelo - means that The Orange is always a 5 star insitution.
M. T.
Unexpectedly very delicious pizza :)
T. D.
Great food, let down by the fact that on a busy day of the year 4 main dishes were no longer available. Drinks took too long to arrive (they seemed to be short staffed in the bar), food was delayed as well but when it came it was all delicious.
Z. R.
Excellent beer, being going during lockdown as they are selling beer and food to take away, be warned you can't sit with their drinks in the square opposite, otherwise you won't be served again.
S. A.
I attended a social event there, the staff were very accommodating, the venue looks great and the drinks and canapés were tasty. We had the downstairs area booked out which gave great privacy from the rest of the venue and enough space for the 50 or so guests.
G. H.
Never disappoints. Good ales from micro brewers. Excellent original pizzas. Other dishes very gastro in style. Upstairs dining very relaxed and friendly.
F. D. S.
Steak had so much fat and nerve. Pizza was really nothing special. Everything else was great. Dessert were simply amazing
L. R.
Quirky old pub/restaurant. Great location , lovely food. Fair pricing
M. L.
Great service, up class place. food is very tasty although portions could be bigger. Pie and beer a great deal. Looks popular with families and friends gatherings!
C. F.
We went for and early dinner on a weekday so it wasn't very busy. The food was great and the service was good. Quite a high end pub which is reflected in both the quality of food and the price.
D. F.
This is a nice place. Can get quite crowded as the bar area is quite narrow. There's seating downstairs and sofas in the corner. Only minus is that it's a fair walk from Victoria. Ok if you live near Sloane sq.
B. S.
Good food and good service. Really liked the ambience and lighting. Good crowd, not rowdy.
s. d.
Cool atmosphere, we sat by the fireplace which add a nice touch of cosy intimate atmosphere on a raining evening. The food was very good, we had Spiced potted Kilravock Farm pork, apple caramel, crackling, toast to start which was recommended by the waitress which was delicious. My cod my was cooked perfectly and the Treacle tart, with honeycomb ice cream to end the meal. The staff are cheerful, charming, knowledgeable and efficient.
O. S. (.
This place can get manic busy! The group floor is the bar and then upstairs is the restaurant.
If you've made a reservation then head upstairs right away since there are tables downstairs and might end up waiting for a while.
The food is typical pub grub but with a classy touch.
J. L.
Visited here with a friend for lunch before heading over to the Saatchi Gallery nearby, and I must admit that I came here for their dark chocolate and orange bread and butter pudding! Their wood fired pizzas were decent, though the bread and butter pudding was a little too sweet for me - aforementioned friend did not mind the sweetness though, he scoffed the lot!
F. R.
Acceptable with nice ambiance. We went for after dinner drinks. There were only a few tables in the bar so we stood which was not ideal. The whiskeys were interesting but pricey. Being with friends was why we there.
R. B.
I came here for brunch before attending a rugby match and it was delicious. A lot of my friends had the full english and it looked perfectly scrumptious.
Not so greasy that you can't believe you bothered paying that much but greasy enough to feel it was cooked like it would be at your local cafe. I tried the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, potentially the best I've head. Teamed with a bloody mary and you're away for the day.
It is a bit more on the expensive side and a little randomly placed on the edge of Pimlico but if you're after a good start to a day out in London this would certainly be the place.
B. S.
Simple good in a stunning building. Very similar to the Thomas Cubit but the raaaah is slightly turned down, demonstrated by the numerous pizzas being consumed.
The olives are to die for, not literally, but I’m sure if you’re not careful it’s possible.
Recommended.
D. P.
Steak tartare portion is very little compared to any French bistro, although it is very well executed - tasty with flair.
J. L.
We needed a pre-theatre dinner and the Orange was perfect! I ordered the chicken which comes with cauliflower and pomegranates - a very Ottolenghi style and flavor. My partner had the grilled sea bream with a potato salad. The truffled fries are delish! Just was disappointed in the distracted wait staff, but this trait seems to be the norm in London.
M. B.
I had my farewell drinks from work in the downstairs "garden atrium bar" - which was fine desire being nothing like the name (although that was clear from booking).
Food was nice, only improvement would have been to have some good ales on tap.
D. T.
Pleasant shabby chic bar and restaurant. Good beer. Good for a drink, can't comment on the food side of things as have not eaten here. Very comfortable place for a stop.
N. L.
Another review notes the poor pizza. I spotted one and agree but seriously don't come to a British pub and order pizza. Roast lamb was gorgeous. The best gastropub in the area.
J. H.
Had heard good things about this place, but I found the pizza a bit bland, to be honest - the base was a bit dry (I wasn't compelled to eat the crusts - usually not a good sign) and the topping was a bit sparse, and not hugely flavoursome. Not really a big threat to nearby Oliveto. On the plus side I noticed they had Veuve Fourny behind the bar, which is an excellent Champagne, and not at all common in the UK.
F. K.
Brilliant pub. The new outdoor seating area in Orange Square is amazing. Really hope they keep it. 10/10. Gem in zone 1.
J. N.
This is a very lovely building that has been turned into a great restaurant and bar. The food was lovely as was the atmosphere. Overall a very nice sophisticated restaurant with a classy vibe.
C. K.
Very well looked after and food and wine were excellent and reasonably priced
M. C.
Nice place. Good food. Taste the melon soup
T.
The service was very nice and the overall experience good. The quality of the food was spotty with some highlights and few disappointments. My wife really enjoyed the chicken pie.
S. R.
Very pour beer selection. These days you have to go out of your way not to find a solid London brewery making great and interesting beer in a multitude of styles. Only having four mediocre continental lagers to show for yourself is so noughties (and not in a good way).
L. L.
None of the staff was wearing a mask so won't return until the covid situation gets better. Other than that, the food and service was good.
M. S.
Really nice restaurant upstairs. Also taking care for Vegetarians and gluten-free options without any issues. Very friendly service and lovely atmosphere.
A.
Another let down where food is cold and had to be sent back despite everyone asking for it to be hot. What is it with these places? It's a simple request. Anyway, had high hopes only to be let down. Staff were very pleasant and did the right thing when it can to the bill so that was appreciated. Will try other cubitt locations and see how that goes
J. L.
In spite of it's location, the Orange is surprisingly down to earth and not too 'Sloany', with a mixed crowd and friendly staff. In place of traditional bar snacks, there's small versions of some of the main menu available - i'd highly recommend the wood fired pizzas. Reasonable selection of ales including Meantime and they make a pretty decent bloody mary. Unfortunately the bar area can get overly busy with the post-work crowd on a friday and yummy mummys on sunday mornings so if you want to eat then i'd advise booking ahead
K. B.
Brilliant atmosphere, unfussy food with clean flavors, and divine desserts. This is a place to come for after-work drinks (fast bar service, relatively well-priced) and just stay on for the night....
S. K.
I have been here for dinner a few times, and it was great. However, I hosted an event here, and they were totally unprepared.
We arrived at the venue 30 minutes before the event’s start time to begin setting up, and we were told that customers seated in the reserved area would not be asked to leave until 4pm, which was when the event was due to start. I mentioned that I had decorations to hang up, and staff instructed me to begin hanging them around the seated customers, so I was standing on chairs hanging banners over people’s heads while they were having dinner and drinks below. When guests began to arrive, the space was still dirty and tables had not been cleared, as the previous diners had left just moments before. For the first 30 minutes, no server came to the area to take orders, so guests were standing around without drinks. I asked staff multiple times if they could please send a server over, and when he did finally arrive, he was unable to keep drink orders on separate tabs, despite me having arranged this with the venue beforehand. When the canapes were served, a few guests asked what they were, and servers were unable to answer. I feel they were also overpriced, as vegetarian options were 2.50 per piece and came out around the size of a 10p coin. I will note that they tasted fantastic. Lastly, our minimum spend was doubled earlier in the week when I asked for additional tables to be reserved, which was fine, but staff refused to actually provide the extra tables and allowed customers sitting there to remain seated. I booked this event over a month in advance, so there is no clear reason why they would have been so unprepared.
Some positives: The staff, although unprepared, were friendly. The food tasted great. The space was warm, atmospheric, and inviting.
I would recommend this place for a meal, but definitely not as a venue for hosting an event.
J. A.
Great maitre and staff v attentive and nice!
A. S.
Excellent breakfast in nice surroundings with friendly staff. Service isn't the quickest which is fine if you don't have to worry about getting to work on time!
A. A.
Great place to meet up with friends for drinks but didn't like food at all. Ordered fish of the day and it was so watery it was almost impossible to eat...
C. K.
A great place for drinks but very little space outside. I am understand that London weather is not always the best but it’s a pity they don’t have more outside seating space.
J. A. B.
Friendly staff with a nice selection of cocktails. Limited ale selection Some outdoor seating Can get very busy with a bit of an arrogant Sloane Ranger crowd sometimes
A. C.
Good food came for a work do and was very impressed with the food. The apple pie was to die for and I'm not a dessert person LOL
R. P.
Great place for drinks however the food can be mediocre at times..they use to make the cocktail called bees knees..and its not worth going there anymore for me. As the new recipe makes it taste and look like Thames water.
S. W.
Service was not great, and total bill was very expensive, considering we actually shared a starter, a dessert, and a side. What we ate was delicious but I won’t return because the price was astonishing.
G. M. S.
Went there for dinner. We ordered 2 wood fire pizzas that were excellent. Staff was friendly and polite and the service was very good.
A. S.
Liked the ambience .. excellent team on the floor .. except for the one marginal waitress that we had arghhhhhh
All the food is free range and sustainably farmed and caught .. you still don't find that enough in London .
.I had the chicken salad ( just okay ).. rest of the group loved their food .
.
J. “. B.
The food was excellent, a good variety of British cuisine and excellent quality produce. The restaurant is well decorated and quiet with a lively bar on the ground floor
H. X.
Perfect for food and drinks. Very polite and friendly personnel. Love the place.
J. C.
Great food, but portions are on the smaller side. The prices are fair. Nice location with outdoor seating overlooking Orange Square.
G. M.
Great place, lovely food, friendly and very helpful staff. Having been here again I must up grade my review. Thank you to all the staff for a great time
L. S.
Popular gastro pub with a nice buzz. Can get crowded. I particularly like the pizzas and the fresh juices. The home made ice cream is very nice as well.
G. C.
Good menu pleasing staff good beer and wine selection modern and very clean and pleasant
K. k. S.
Great local pub atmosphere for a drink but very disappointed with the restaurant food. Has always been excellent - new menu, new chef ?? unhappy meal recently with friends visiting from LA.
N. S.
Order some wood-fired pizza bread with heaps of chilli to snack on and grab a life-saving bloody mary to ease off the edge of Friday night and carry you into the weekend. Log fire? Check. Passable cocktail list? Check. Nibbles and craft beers on tap? Yes sir... in fact the only downsides are the temptation of the nextdoor restaurant and that its often too popular for its own good.
K. C.
Dinner was very good but the service was lacking. Took a long time to get refills and they dropped silverware on a guest while clearing the table without apologizing or acknowledging it.
D. R.
Oysters were top quality. Loved the duck breast main dish, creative and solid cooking in a nice setting with attention to detail.
R. D.
Nice little pub with a great vibe. Our waitress was exceptional - so friendly, attentive and helpful. Great service 👌
h. c.
Lovely bar but extremely small. Very busy and service very slow with regulars clearly getting served before others. Bar staff snooty.
F. C.
Great food, great service, great ambience
O. B.
Great time with good people. Incredible pizza in a lovely setting - sharing the pizzas is perfect for a group of 8 - 12
S. O.
Lovely food, but service leaves a little to be desired. No check back and would not bring the bill to the table, in what appeared to be a quiet service.
e. p.
I had my Birthday party on 7th February 2020 In their private room which is downstairs and honestly it was one of my best night ever. Beautiful venue with excellent costumer service both in management department (Dear Amy) and also on the Floor specially Dear Nicole who is super host. On top of everything the food is amazing. We had some fries, pizza, mini burger and humus and all was super.
Thanks a lot guys....
Ehsan.
B. B.
Bit on the pricey side, but the food is delicious and it's a lovely atmosphere. My scotch egg and white pudding was yummy.
Y. P.
Great food & friendly, but a little posh, service. Not cheap, but worth the money.
Have never been in the hotel, so cannot rate that.
I. S.
Very nice pub and excellent food. Good variety of dishes from Gras Fed steak to pizza and delicious desserts.
c. w.
Staff were lovely and there is good wine selection but had a slightly disappointing main course (monkfish)
O. T.
Great location and vibe. Restaurant is busy, which tells about it. Breakfast starts at 8 (which could be have been earlier)
R. S.
I always enjoy coming here. The food is superb and the service is great. One ofy favourite place for Sunday brunch
D. M.
I don't even know where to begin. Atmosphere, perfect. Beers, cold. Food, fantastic. My absolute favourite spot on London
D. A.
Great food and drinks!the staff is friendly and the atmosphere really nice, cozy and welcoming. The burgers are spot on!the rest of the food is great too! To try!
R. F.
Thomas Cubbit sister pub. Great selection of wine and cocktails and some good pizza. They also do a diverse breakfast menu for that lazy weekend.
M. D.
We attended the dinner there. It's a very nice place, friendly staff, good food and close to our office. Prices are a bit expensive though for what you get.
J. M.
I love the decor and atmosphere of this gastro pub (especially upstairs). However, the food is so-so and the service is hit or miss. I would recommend more for a Sunday Roast or an after work drink.
L.
Popular place with nice variety of English food. Staff are helpful and nice decor.
H. J.
Scrumptious food, excellent service and atmosphere lively in the bar but comfortable and plenty of space when eating; especially upstairs.
N. R.
This is a long time favourite of well sourced seasonal food, great atmosphere and delicious wine and cocktails. Can’t wait to go tonight!
R. P.
It’s always been good but the new management - even better than normal. Slick and attentive. Perfect for couples or groups - highly recommend 🌟
B. F.
Nice place for lunch. Beautiful location inside. Free wife perfectly working. Pizzas are available in two sizes and are wood fired.
G. T.
Pleasant for a quick drink although there is only about 3 seating areas available - always full so you will be sure enough standing at the bar.
J. G.
The placr was very busy and maybe because of that and the Christmas celebrations, one of the waitress was very rude arguing with someone from our table, but the food was good anyway
M. V.
Good food menu!
P. R.
Perfect weekend great room food location
A. A.
Incredible staycation in London, gastro-pub - we were kindly granted the only room with a bathtub (Orange room) which felt very homely and was clean and spacious, dinner and breakfast were delicious and the whole experience to recommend to anyone, will come again!
Ф. М. (. M.
Great place to eat, if you are fine to wait for an hour and have your order mixed up with someone's else and then wait for another 30 minutes. But food is delicious.
J. S.
This app was fantastic: Burrata, green sauce, almond granola, onion relish. It was beautifully arranged on the plate. A good portion size as well for £10.
C. B.
Very average hotel. Front desk staff were polite enough but the facilities were lacking or non-existent. Reasonable price was the only redeeming quality.
N.
Cozy pub with warm feel. Good food and service.
Ales weren't the most interesting. Price a bit high.
c. c.
Lovely atmosphere, and perfect for a drink or a sit down meal. Loved it!
M. S.
Lovely terrace, nice staff, nice beers, food so-so
b. M.
Great place lovely food good vegetarian choices and decent beer on tap service good on busy Saturday night
A. U.
Always nice, well managed, bar staff occasionally offish but food and wood fired pizza top notch. Lovely all year round.
L. G.
Went for a colleague's leaving drinks - the selection of party canapés was fantastic, including scotch egg olive meatballs, which were really great.
L. H.
Probably one of the best Sunday roast I've had in central London. The rest of the menu is good but not outstanding
B. K.
Nice private room. Excellent service but good menu for the group didn't deliver. A la carte looks better.
A. T.
Great Sunday roast. Lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
H. E.
Lovely pub, although used to serve Harvey's best bitter; has now switched out to some inferior craft imitation....
G. A.
Best pub in the Sloane Street tube area, a great place to meet, prices a little eye-watering but that comes with the area
G. C.
great food and atmosphere, arrive early or book ahead to secure a table. Can get busy with locals, but fun atmosphere.
L. P.
Great posh pub, nice private room upstairs with a terrace. French / Italian food which was good but glad i wasn't paying.
N. S.
Good location but pricey.
R. g.
Went for a work team lunch, mains were a little slow coming out but worth the wait. Nice venue and friendly service.
K. F.
Great buzz staff were fantastic
A. A.
Great place!
Absolutely in love with this building!
Good service, pleasant atmosphere in a nice part of town!
T. C.
Excellent gastro-pub in central-west London. Good food and atmosphere. Would recommend.
N. F.
Just had dinner here with my friend, the food is delicious, very friendly hostesses and nice investment. Definitely recommended
R. J.
A favourite place of mine in Pimlico. Really nice ambience and food. Perhaps a bit more on the pricier side, but in line with the neighbourhood and worth the experience.
K. G.
Light airy venue and good food. Service was slow and we had to remind them we were there to order and clear plates.
A. B.
The staff are polite and efficient. The venue makes you feel like staying and chatting, especially on a winter's day/night
F. S.
Good food and drinks, not cheap and service leaves something to be desired but overall a nice pub
a. v. d. e.
Excellent gastropub with an upstairs and downstairs seating area and extensive menu. I love their sweet potato fries with bacon aioli.
P. S.
Very attentive staff. Modern English food, including a vegetarian main course.
F. S.
Stopped here for dinner and was very happy with everything, food was very tasty and well presented. Great gastro pub
A. W.
A very well appointed new style pub. The staff are friendly and the drinks selection decent.
N. W.
Phenomenal food in a quaint setting. Went for a Saturday afternoon lunch, late and was blown away.
Would thoroughly recommend.
T. D.
Came for roast dinner. Food was fantastic, great choice of drinks (some lovely ales on tap). Cannot fault it!
B. R.
Yummy! Classy place for the likes of me. We had a meal after a training day and lovely it was too!
S. A.
Good food, nice, pleasant surroundings and good service. The desserts are worth having a go at too!
Y. M.
Good pub food. Quite simple but does the trick. Nice atmosphere and child friendly
A. A.
It's a very lovely pub at 5 minutes walking distance from Victoria. I actually had an amazing Buffalo mozzarella pizza and the best beer.
F. S.
I came here with my future in laws and they loved it and they are like super white so all good.
J. W.
A lovely place in a delicately beautiful area of the city. Though the bar staff need to smile, say please, say thank you. Any of the above would be a start.
A. T.
Great food, staff is kind and professional. Cozy place to spend a night!
V. C.
Quaint and nicely positioned to catch some rays in the afternoon. Friendly service. Drinks a little pricey however expect this for the area.
M. R.
Relatively high prices for the type of venue are to be expected, given the area of London. The service and food were very good.
T. M.
Great food. I wouldn't consider this a drinking pub but highly recommend the food!
N. D.
Favourite pub in pimlico. Food is really great too and the genuine pizza oven helps too. Can't fault the place
S. V.
Dinner was absolutely amazing, cocktails were impeccable. One of the best pubs I've been to in london
j. g.
My neighbourhood haunt. Great staff and service. Can get a bit loud at times but pick your times well and it's lovely. Great food too.
C. C.
Decent prices. Enough space for a drink after work, though busy. Not too noisy. Close to Victoria and Sloane Square.
I. M. T.
Very unique pub! Great atmosphere and design and really good food!
P. B.
Good local gastro pub. Well designed interior, good food, attentive staff and a decent cask ale.
C. C.
Perfect venue for private dining with terrace for pre-drinks
A. S.
Amazing food. Plaice and herb mash, pizzas, smoked aubergine and chickpea fritters....waitress attentive in filling water glasses a plus
L. G.
Nice gastropub - fairly spacious, well decorated venue. Food is decent - pizzas are a good option.
K. W.
This was the sixth place we visited on a pub crawl so to be honest the details are a bit hazy. But it seemed nice.
J. C.
Probably the best margarita pizza I've ever had. Amazing oysters, great cocktails and good service.
J. A.
A little out of the way, but the comfort food (think sunday roast with all the trimmings) and cozy setting are well worth the trip to Pimlico.
M. L.
A busy pub with a nice restaurant attached. Lovely atmosphere. Until it gets really busy. Then time to move on.
S. W.
Held a number of private events here. Food ok, great service. Will keep coming back
N. S.
An excellent Sunday roast. Huge portions and surprisingly balanced meal (a pleasant surprise while traveling)
M. S.
Been going here for years during happy hours. Tried the food last weekend and it was fantastic!
O. J.
Very nice pub with one or two nice guest lagers on tap. Not too expensive and in a great location
W.
Great venue, good beers, wine and excellent food. Highly recommended!
R. L.
This was a really lovely space! We had upstairs for a private event and there was tonnes of light. Would go back again.
I. T.
A nice pub in the heart of Richmond. Staff are great. A good place to watch sports.
R. J.
Went for a work dinner. Attentive staff, nice atmosphere and great food. Nothing to complain about.
M. B.
We had a fantastic private function in the ground floor garden area. Food was great, service and atmosphere was fantastic
S. K.
Friendly atmosphere, staff great service.
D. B.
Good food, fantastic place and location. Way, way too expensive, though: pizzas at 15£ (!!!) each.
W. G.
The bar is not as expensive as it looks, with an excellent selection of spirits though not the widest selection of draught beers.
C. H.
Good food, service and environment. Standard london prices. Very nice bar.
D. H.
Had the most delicious Sunday Roast here.....great location, great atmosphere, great food !!
N. R.
Nice pub in Victoria. There's a few nice ones on Pimlico Road.. No11 Pimlico Road has a great vibe too..
O. A.
Really nice place! Just went for a quick drink waiting for a friend but was relaxed and enjoyed myself.
N. B.
Been going for years, last visit tried having a quiet catch up with my brother only to encounter a group of people trying to antagonise with a view to instigate violence, not what is needed....
M. C.
Great place for a pint after work. Friendly atmosphere and good range of drinks.
J. C.
Really nice restaurant with a good selection of wines and cocktails. Food was amazing too!
N. T.
Good atmosphere and good food, but I hope you like paying for froth because the points were consistently this short.
A. S.
Lovely little place on a sweet street. Drinks are nice and the atmosphere is warm and wonderful
C. A.
Beautiful rustic interior, good seasonal food and wood fired pizzas. Friendly service too.
K. M.
Pizza isn't spectacular but decent. Good atmosphere but lunchtime tables we're hard to come by.
J. N.
Try somewhere else. Other members of this chain are much better, especially Pantechnicon. Noisy, cramped. This is a pub with a kitchen when it should be the reverse.
L. G.
