A great little place and lively addition to the life of South Clapham. Found them a little inflexible on releasing tables from no-shows, but appreciate with such a popular venue that you can’t please everyone. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. Worth a mention is their two cocktails for £12 deal all day Thursday… which is when the weekend starts anyway, right? If you found my review or photo helpful please leave a thumbs up 👍 Thanks!

We’ll designed pub, with friendly staff and the standard pub fair. The roast was okay, the burger seems to be really good.

Sunday lunch for 6 - great value. First time visitors - had booked table inside but offered a choice. Lots of covers to manage but got fast, friendly service from Thomas, who knows what good hospitality looks like. Two course deal for £22 represents decent value. Bottomless water bowls for our dogs too. Recommend

This is our local pub so have been a few times - the service is really quick and the staff are always friendly. Would recommend getting a table on the outdoor terrace if possible. Had the veggie breakfast which was delicious. Would go here again.

We had a lovely experience yesterday when we came to watch the rugby and celebrate a birthday! The staff were super accommodating when I stopped by earlier in the day to drop off a cake and some balloons so we could surprise the birthday boy. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The Perky Nel is a fantastic local pub. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is always fun. I have enjoyed birthday drinks here with a party of friends and the staff were very helpful in arranging everything.

Superb pub. We’ve been here a couple of times - for Valentines when it just opened and today. Both times the service, food and atmosphere was exemplary. We came here as a family, it was easy to book and drawing was provided for our 5 year old and water for our puppy. Kids and dogs seem really welcome. There was football showing on the screens and it wasn’t overpowering. The food was slightly slower to arrive than ideal but it was made up for by friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended!

Stumbled across this pub and so glad we did, the fish and chips were delicious, they have a great selection of beer and the staff were lovely and helpful. They made our dog very comfortable, bringing him out a dog bed and water bowl. Thanks Perky Nel, we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Had an excellent roast here. Meat cooked well, perfect Yorkshire, crispy roast potatoes and delicious cauli cheese. Good service too. Will be back for more.

I’ve been a huge fan of this place for over a year now. Superb vegan food and great beer selection. Can’t wait to have what looks like a lovely bottomless brunch there. However... last night I was shocked when my friends and I were essentially forced to pay the full ***discretionary*** service charge. I would recommend the management confirm their policy with the waiting staff as a matter of urgency. Leaves a real sour taste in the mouth...

Nice location. Service was great. Beers were good. However, ordered some starters/snacks, which were really stingy (I.e small portions and the squid rings were sliced as small as possibly can be). Chips could have been cooked longer and again stingey portion. Would go again minus any food.

What a beautiful service. Both waitresses (Asta especially) who served us were so lovely and attentive, made sure we were satisfied with our food and kept the prosecco flowing! Food was gorgeous and such big portions. Sat outside in the sunshine and had a great celebration for our friends birthday.

I'm bored! Alright pub food, nothing is going to blow you away but it's solid and they have lots of options for different dietary requirements. Pretty much the same as loads of other pubs cropping up all over Clapham, obviously a lot of work has gone into the refurb and the outside space is nice but the whole place just seemed a little soulless and commercialised. I guess all those graduate accountants and estate agents flocking to Clapham need another pub to hang out at. The staff are all really friendly, attentive and professional despite an error with are booking. Originally booked a table for three and tried to contact in advance to say one more person was coming but wasn't able to get through to anyone. When we got to the restaurant the table they'd reserved for us was only set up for two people. Had to sit in the sports bar area not the dining area but that wasn't a problem. All in all, the place is totally fine. It wouldn't be my first choice as it lacks atmosphere and character but if you're looking for a group or family pub lunch out then there is something for everyone on the menu and all the food was decent, although nothing exciting.

It was my first visit, as an international traveler, it’s always exciting to explore new places. Their service was good, food was also good, but I was disappointed that they wouldn’t accept my credit card because it required a signature and they couldn’t verify it.. I mean, rest of the world seems to be fine with this, and the fact it’s got a chip means it’s encrypted and safe, the signature is at the back for a reason, so don’t understand what the problem is. My friend ended up paying, and I don’t think I would come back, and my advise is if you are an international traveler with a card that requires signature, do stay away or take cash along. Maybe I missed the sign somewhere that said they don’t accept credit cards which require a signature...
