Socially distanced, very clean and awesome service. Great place to meet up with friends. Not a big variety of food, so, not much of a gastro pub but the burger was very tasty. Chips crispy and tasty. Good choice of beer.

Nice pub and have heard that the food is pretty decent. Over £20 for three pints of neck oil! Welcome to London. The price is the only disappointing thing here, but I guess they aren’t a free house?? Expensive! Seems to be the tone.

A great bar, but do not try to order a Hendricks Lunar! The first will be a regular hendricks, the second will be whatever is left in the bottle (35ml for £11) and the third will be an apology that none is left (Could have told you that half way through drink #2) but all jokes aside the atmosphere is lovely and I would recommend!

Very spacious pub with great food and a wide selection of beers. There is also a lot of space inside which, with a children's park nearby, makes it a great place to take our toddler for food following a runaround.

Have visited a number of times, first time was great but second time was bit of a let down in regards to the food. Saying that though I figured I’d try them one more time and it was so great it redeemed itself and will happily grab a bite and drinks with friends there. Visited when the Caribbean menu was available and must say it was delicious. Service was top notch too.

The service and atmosphere take this 3 star spot to a 4. The staff are really lovely and attentive, and the restaurant has a good upbeat feel to it. It’s also laid out well and has good seating. The meal was ok. I ordered the ribs and tried the short rib. The ribs were ok but nothing to rave about. The short rib was also ok. I think if I didn’t have a view of the industrious kitchen which was neat and seemed like they were having fun, my expectations of the food would not have been that high. Drinks were reasonably priced and cheesecake was good. The curd was lovely.

Have been to the Plough for work functions and social drinks, really excellent selection of craft beers on draught always. Nice airy space inside with good attentive staff. Good is great also, having eaten here twice. Can't really fault it at all, superb location. Sure to return time and again!

BEST COCKTAILS AND FOOD IN LONDON!! It dosent get much better than this!! Only a minute from Clapham Junction station, the atmosphere mixed with the delicious food and vast range of stupidly good drinks really made this place my favourite London bar!! Nice spot up the hill from Clapham Junction for some post work, pre dinner beers. Only downside was them insisting on using the app to order, when the mobile reception was terrible - luckily I already have the Youngs On Tap app as my mates spent ages trying to get enough signal to download it and order... Meant I had to get the drinks! Get the app first and you should be fine...

Not bad. Decent space and reasonable food. Generic Youngs pub but really good service. I’ve been in a couple of times since lockdown lifted and one bartender in particular is really good and makes it a good experience. Worth trying if you’re at Clapham Junction.

Used to love coming here but first visit back after a few years wasn’t great. If you just want drinks then definitely good for that but the food was shocking. Nachos were CRISPS topped with BAKED BEANS, and the chicken wings were just about cooked and had to argue with server to get the full portion (they admitted they had given our full portion to another table and given our group a half portion)

We were very surprised how lovely the food was. The 3 of us had the roast chicken. The food tasted like home cooking but we noticed the small amount of roast potatoes and even smaller trimmings, ie parsnips and small dollops of relish. We each had a drink and a pudding and came to 59 quid. I had the cheesecake....yummy and the portion was quite generous. We will be back

Had brunch with friends on a Sunday and even though the place was pretty busy, the service was on time. I had the vegan mushroom Wellington and it was delicious(!!) with a standard choice of roasted potatoes, carrots and parsnip to accompany. For dessert I had vegan chocolate fondant and unfortunately it was not up to the same standard. It was dry without gooey centre but luckily it was served with ice-cream, which made it possible to eat. In my opinion dessert was quite expensive considering the quality. Beside that, we had a nice time overall also thanks to the friendly service.

Had the best Sunday roast here. If you're hungry and can't choose between all the roasts, then highly recommend the Ultimate Roast Sharing Board. Also recommend the vegetarian wellington (spinach and beetroot) with extra yorkies and gravy. All safe distancing, ordered food and drinks through the app. Yum.

I went here on Tuesday the 16th of November. I Must say that the young lad working here is the most nicest person I have ever meet at a venue and I am talking 40 years . He was not only welcoming , but kind and caring we had a chat , he is a asset to the people who employ him , he made my day . He made it a quite special experience. The bar is designed to perfection , seating is very comfortable , I like the glass widow making it feel spacious , very clever idea , The toilets are very lavish and designed to a superior Standard , very modern but still very cosy . Good for families . I recommend this venue to everyone , and especially to people on there own . I left feeling very happy and looked after. Well I not only give it 5 stars , but I give it my special rating , very rare of 2 platinum stars .because of the lad who served me with care and excellence . You must go there and see for yourselves. And a pay rise for that charming lad .

Nice atmosphere, bright and spacious... But the brunch is really lacking. They need to step up the quality of the ingredients. Eggs were bland and not that yellow, the eggs dishes only came with one piece of extremely dry packaged toast. For £8, it's really not great value. Would come back for drinks but not for food.

It's a pretty ok pub, the decor is quite nice. The beer options are better than your run of the mill pub but this place is a little bizarre. In so far as they have a dj on the weekends but the music sounds like someone put their spotify on shuffle so not sure what the point in the DJ is.

Very nice food. Great service. Quite quiet at the time. I suspect this was because the pub decided to run a pub quiz on a Sunday night! As any Publican would know, this is unnecessary on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Pub quizzes increase foot fall during quieter weekday evenings. I found the quiz rather annoying during what was otherwise a very pleasant roast with my Mother on Mothering Sunday. It was kind of like having a really annoying DJ at a wedding crashing the lyrics of all the classic 80's tunes.

Just visit The Plough for a meal. I did not know much about the place before visiting so saved my expectations. First glance it looks great with a straight forward trendy pub/kitchen decor. A long bar with a great selection of beer and ales. Friendly staff that seemed to be fairly knowledgeble about their products. The food menu looks great with some specials added on the board. All in all a good selection of starters, mains and desserts. However food was not up to expectation even thou not bad at all. The flavours in general was a let down. All in all i can recommend this friendly place in Clapham. Plus is the friendly staff, beer selection and decor. Minus on food, can be stepped up a notch.

One of my locals, so I decided to meet friends here for dinner one Saturday evening. It felt more like half-club, half-pub. If you can't do one thing well, you'll do two badly. Food was average but priced above-average and meals on the same table came at different times. So loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak. No outdoor seating area for smokers (or a summer's evening) and not even an ashtray at the door for those who do. Pub grub is meant to be reliable, it all comes from factories these days, so why was this one below par? I can only blame it on the kitchen staff and poor management not doing QA. Guys, you have a lot of competition and you're the new kids. Pull your socks up.

is it a pub? or is it an american diner? bit of both! the mismatched chairs and uneven surface tables are the best feature of this place. we had the west country slow roasted pulled pork slider - tiny but full of flavour. then the parrot wings (deep-fried chicken wings in a very hot tequila sauce) - served with - shots of tequila. this had to be followed up with more tequila (coffee flavoured of course) - so we stopped eating. going back for dinner soon. Oh and the truffle chips were so much better than the stuff Jamies' Italian serves.

Came here a few months ago when the Super Bowl was on. Great atmosphere, food was amazing and the staff were really friendly.

If you are looking for a fun night of craft beers and gourmet burgers this is the place for you. The atmosphere is buzzy. Their homemade beef jerky goes down really well and the interactive mash at the table guacamole is a must. Boston burger is a speciallity of the house.The milk bottles cocktails are so cute! Brewery fresh larger (Meantime brewery tanks in the premises) and Bucket list - beers to try before you die. Great fun!

Quite possibly the worst sunday roast I have ever experienced. The chicken was watery, vegetables were undercooked, the roast potatoes weren't roasted and the gravy was more akin to watered down sick... all for £14?!? I never complain when I go out to eat but given that no one in our party could stomach more than half of their meal and every table around us who also made the mistake of ordering the roast was complaining we refused to pay and left very unhappy and hungry. That said, I did see the pulled the pork sandwiches being delivered to other tables and it filled me with food envy... Just avoid the sunday roast!

Don't be put off by the curb appeal inside this is a lovely pub/restaurant. Really lovely Sunday Roast but was a little surprised that at only 2pm they'd run out of all but the chicken option. Probably a fluke on our visit or a supply issue... Everything was absolutely delicious and good value for the area.

Great service!!! We made a booking, but arrived on the wrong day. Out fault, not theirs. The manager amazing and was really helpful and made a plan for us. He came past and even advised that if we did not want to go up to the bar we could order off the app and told us we were on table 1. All the staff were great. Keep it up guys!
