Reviews of The Plough Inn, Ealing

The Plough Inn is a great pub.
Live music, nice atmosphere, any kind of drink.
Waiters and bar people always nice to talk to and smiling.
The food is very nice even though a little expensive. But surely is delicious.
Definitely recommend to anyone in the area and not. Dog friendly. Kids friendly. People friendly 😜

A lovely spacious pub, very kid friendly, and a decent space outside too. Food was very tasty, and even though the team were a bit short staffed, they made sure the food that got to us was really well cooked and the kids got their food before us so were kept happy. Really nice team behind the bar, and would recommend this place to anyone else who is anywhere near Northfields Avenue/West Ealing.

What a wonderful evening at the Plough. The live jazz musicians,1st Thursday of each month, were fantastic (Ronnie Scotts, eat ya heart out!) A really great busy vibe in the pub.
The food was excellent, the starters tonight, I had the Fullers Black pudding scotch egg which was yummy. My friends had the crispy duck bao bun and they said it was fabulous. They also had the sharing brisket for mains which was so tender and plentiful. I had the haddock and chips which is always delicious.
Thank you to The Plough for a great evening that felt like the days before the pandemic madness.

Such lovely/ helpful staff and nice decor but seriously let down by the food. Chicken wings were slimy and the children’s tomato pasta (as the actual pasta dish wasn’t available) was dry and hard. Felt like food was a Wetherspoons microwave job rather than being prepared by a gastro pub chef.

A friendly abd welcoming pub, lots of locals, nice atmosphere, lots of laughter, mixed ages, and you can call and reserve a table. The staff are great. All welcome, older and younger couples, mates, lads, friends with children. It works

My favourite Fuller's pub in London so far. Friendly staff, fair prices and an okay selection of food and drinks. Mostly families, young locals are the customers. If you are looking for a more quite option, there are tables in the back, and a garden. Other pubs around the city - even as a visitor/tourist - felt impersonal, alien, but this place is 10/10 authentic.

A good local Fullers pub, staff are great and a really good mix of customers visit. Good events such as music and quizzes. Always feel welcome here. 4 star review as prices could be more competitive but the ambience makes up for that for occasional visits.

Wasn’t able to book a table as the bar was busy due to the quiz. We asked barman to let us know when a table was available. Very helpful and found a table immediately. Food was good with good selection of beers

Stopped for a quick pint, the beer on tap is swapped regularly and the staff are very knowledgeable about them and more than happy to help you choose.

Selection of drinks and food is excellent. Plenty of seating areas and ideal for a family with young children. Late in the evening it is has a relaxed feel ideal for meeting friends or taking your partner on a date. The sirloin steak was a 10 out 10 for me and will definitely have it again.

Really great food, done better then I actually expected as a last minute booking. Menu looks a bit plain however for a table of 8 everyone’s was amazing! Staff really helpful also! Great pub and they have live music on Monday we found out

The food in The Plough was first class. The service was excellent and the pub is nice, to friendly and feels like a pub should feel.
They have a nice beer garden with a kids play area, and a small car park.
This is definitely a pub I'll be visiting again soon. It was good to get back into a real pub again after so long. Thank you to the owners and all the staff.

Better than it was, staff can still be a tad grumpy but overall a well run pub with a good choice of beers, could do with more cider choice, mind.

Good fun at the pub quiz on Tuesday nights with friends. Good service, enjoyed some nibbles and the drinks. Parking is always an issue around the place, but good pub!

Food is great, staff are really friendly and everything is clean and tidy! Odd choice in music, not bad by any stretch, just a little odd

Great Fullers pub in Northfields area of Ealing. Lots of ales and lagers - including London Pride. Also extensive food menu. What's not to like?
A. B.
Fantastic food, fantastic staff, fantastic venue. What can I say? Just fantastic!

Brilliant live music on a Monday evening and very polite staff. All around great atmosphere!

Nice pub with a playground for kids. Good selection of drinks too

A bit on the pricey side but worth it as the staff are great and the atmosphere was brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Lovely pub with large garden and play area for the kids. Food was lovely, on sundays they offer an excellent selection of roast dinners, with Yorkshire puddings and the works.

Great pub atmosphere although found it overrated for food. Ordered a salad as a main but complained about its small size (not impressed by the presentation either). The waitress went to check with the chef but came back with the same plate saying it was the way it was supposed to be. I was obviously unhappy about it and she kindly offered a dessert and a drink, which was very kind, but I would have rather had a few more salad leaves tossed in my plate to satisfy my feeling that I had been served a main. 13.50£ for a salad which looks like a starter is not particularly good value at a local pub

First trip to the Plough under Covid rules. 'Outdoor' seating is in a large tent - but with small openings so I'm not sure it really qualifies. Plenty of airflow anyway.
Gas heaters do a good job but we definitely had to keep our coats on. Online ordering and table service worked efficiently once we got the hang of it.
All in all a good evening. Recommended

Good food, friendly service. Would recommend
K. G.
Good pub with large indoor and outdoor seating areas.
B. R.
Perfect for my first real pint since lockdown friendly staff always a great time had there
E. W.
Smart-looking, friendly service. Excellent range of well kept beers.
I. B.
Nice pub, family friendly with a big garden/ decking area at the back.
B. O.
Decent beer garden and efficient table service. More expensive than I would like, but that's Fullers for you.
Scan the QR code on the table onto your phone and up pops the Fullers' menu and drinks.
You need to register on the NHS Track & Trace app to gain admission.

got lucky and happened on a live jazz night. convivial, comfortable, with a few nice touches, eg long tall table. boring cheese board.
P. A.
They play Jazz every Monday night and everyone is very friendly. Loved this pub in Ealing .

Always a great meal and wonderful atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and efficient. The haddock and chips is the best I've had for years. If they widened the menu to more pasta or pizza options with salads it would be amazing. But ... a fantastic local.

I found this little gem a few years ago and have kept dropping in when I pass. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Have always looked the food options and thought about trying this out. Just haven’t been there at the right time. So today decided to make the effort and go try the food out. This was a great idea and wasn’t disappointed. The food was great and the staff so friendly and helpful. Starters were great and loved the scotch egg. The roast was great I had the beef and friend had the chicken. We both agreed this was worth the visit. You have to try. I’m sure you will not be disappointed it’s the whole package great food and friendly staff.

Great pub. Staff friendly and energetic, atmosphere fabulous despite the restrictions and great drinks. Only minor gripe is a limited menu but I understand why that is at the moment. Love it and will be back!

This is the most excellently operated pub i have been to during Covid. Service is now more efficient than ever, everywhere is being totally cleaned down following punters leaving, including the chairs that they have sat on. Simply 12 out of 10, so efficient, so clean, environment still the same, service impeccable and so much quicker than before!
T. E.
Nice big pub with big beer garden it also has a small play area for children, food is really nice and wide selection of beers and wines. Sometimes have love music but I forget which days sorry, usually have a lot of staff on so not really any long waiting times and big bar with plenty of space to get orders in

Dinner yesterday. Pub very handy for Northfields tube and buses. Big pub with two bars and restaurant (and garden) at back. Short menu of starters and mains. Food was very good. We had particularly pleasant and helpful service which made our meal very enjoyable. Range of beers including Fullers. Not cheap. Well recommended.

Great food. Family friendly..great if you have kids as the kids menu is neat. And the adult food was so lovely. We are early due to a little one and there were alot of other family's there as well. They are keyed to the kid feeding time slot with raw vege sticks brought to table while the food was being prepared ♡♡♡

Renovated Fuller's pub but with strong local feeling and lots of regulars. Mixed crowd from mid 20s to much older. Great selection of beer and spirits, but not cheap. Spacious but cozy with fireplaces, armchairs and booths. Regular jazz nights and decent food, with about 50 seats in the rear restaurant space plus outdoor tables in the large beer garden, with kids play area. Friendly staff. Also very relaxed at lunch time. A great pub to have as my local.

Great local pub, set in a quiet rural suburb. This pub has changed considerably over the past 2 years, with a big revamp to the garden and a great addition to the draft beer range. They have held a few beer festivals here too. The beer garden has to be one of the best creative beer gardens I’ve been to in London. And it has its own chickens.
M. R.
Very nice dinner, good size portions. The restaurant is very welcoming, the only thing u will.say is that I've been to the place a few times and it's quite cold and breezy, I had to keep my coat on. They certainly like to keep doors and windows open
The staff are exceptionally friendly. Alas they dont sell old mout cider cherries and berries!! But other options are available.

Spent many a time here in the garden of a Friday's summers afternoon/evening. Which now appears to have been paved with grey bricks. Hence the 4 stars. It does however, have a playground, two bars and an impressive restaurant. Food has always been worth partaking in here. Prices have risen and dearer now but good nosh and service is friendly.
With so much going for it, feel really should give it 5 stars. However, I felt disappointed with the revamping of the back garden which now has a business feel to it and has lost it's ambiance somewhat.

Great family and dog friendly pub in the heart of Ealing offering a good selection of food and drink. Definitely a good Sunday lunch pub where you can rest up and enjoy a cozy sit down by an open fire before carrying on on a nice crisp winter walk!
R. K.
Excellent roasts - we had all types and all were fantastic. Lovely service and lovely pub which lots of space. Has a car park if you need to drive. Food menu had great choices and everyone’s meal was fantastic. Worth a visit.

Hit and miss unfortunately. Much better than it was in the past thanks to new decoration and especially new staff.
Buzzing and nice atmosphere in the evenings.
Good selection of beers. Just ok selection of wine.
Nice beer garden, even a small playground for young kids.
T. C.
Great food, very expensive. £5.50 a pint 🤯 might be the Midlands in me but left a bitter taste.
L. M.
Really good space! Lovely pub!

It's a good spot, serves decent food and the beer is kept well. Still struggling with the Fullers app which is not happening for me.

I like this pub. The beer range is pretty good and the staff are (mostly) friendly. They need to speed things up in the kitchen though - the food was good when it arrived but just took too long to get there... Will definitely give them another go though.

From my experience, the pub was a nice venue and had friendly staff. There was also a good jazz band playing which was nice to hear but I feel maybe the place could expand on their vegan menu. Like, it doesn’t have to be anything special I just felt the falafel wasn’t very tasty. This is just my opinion and I hope my feedback has given you ideas, as it’s reallt easy to offer vegan food nowadays in pubs! :)
