Reviews of The Rocket
R. P.
A very cozy place on a very busy part of London.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Great food.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
T. R. O.
Best place to watch sports live with group of friends. Nice song choices indeed to celebrate every moment. Loved the food, Pint and cocktails.
Humbly amazing staffs. Highly recommended place.
Φ. Τ.
A decent place to have a beer a watch a football match.
The steak is quite salty but chickens filet was tasty.
B. T.
The Rocket felt a bit average on food, drinks, service speed, and cleanliness. Nothing was glaringly wrong but nor was any of it amazing.
R. B.
Popped in because we couldn't find the pub we were actually looking for. Plenty of seating despite being a Saturday evening in such a busy area between Kings X and Euston. Football was on, plenty of huge screens that you can see from every table if that's your thing. The staff really surprised me with how friendly and super on-it they were. Thought it would take a while to get served because of the queue but it was literally seconds; then got asked twice more if I had been served while the drinks were being poured. Took a star off because the food wasn't amazing but it filled a hole at least, not a huge selection of beers
S. o. t.
Had this beauty and I must say it was delicious, Mac n cheese topped with chicken and a side of garlic bread.
M. B.
Great range of beers and very close to Euston station. A regular first stop before exploring London and watching the rugby
P. B.
A busy pub half way between Euston and King's Cross/ St Pancreas Stations. Pub grub and a good selection of beers. A lot nicer than eating at the Stations. The building is old and attractive, the furniture less so, but it's a working pub, absolutely rammed for the weekend football matches and always well frequented.
s.
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere however we ordered food with drinks and the drinks did not arrive and unfortunately both our burgers had burnt over-cooked patties which sadly spoilt the taste of the whole burger. Salad was tasty.
C. C.
Affordable pub in a good location. Bar staff were unfriendly but the overall atmosphere in the pub itself is nice. A good number of veggie options on the food menu and the prices for drinks are great, especially for central London. Pretty spacious and lots of screens for sports fans.
D. T.
Been up here working and what a pub! The Staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you! Natasha is a good host And will make you feel welcome! The food and beer is spot on and at a reasonable price! If your in the Euston area u will be mad to walk past this pub and not go in 20/10 rating all day
P. B.
I had a great Xmas dinner, my mum loves around the corner but due to her being at risk to Covid, I thought I would have Christmas lunch around the corner, it was three courses, and I got a takeaway Xmas dinner for mum. Thanks to the staff Abou and Lana and the Chef sharif
B. M.
Food was ok, beer was good. Service was good up to a point. We were a party of eight, all dining and drinking. A dish that we didn't order arrived at the table and the waitress disappeared. Fifteen minutes later, a member of staff came over and told us that we should have sent the food back, as if we'd somehow masterminded the theft of some fried calamari. Imagine blaming a table of paying customers for your mistake? They also missed a drink off an order, and didn't believe us until we showed the order on their app. Could be a really nice boozer... Great location! But someone there needs some serious hospitality training, in my opinion.
M. R. C.
Had a great time here on Friday night. Friendly and professional staff. Lovely locals. Had a bit of a dance to the music. Was on my own (after my drunken companion thankfully left) and I was made to feel really welcome by everyone. As a woman travelling on her own, I recommend this pub as a safe place to enjoy a Friday night.
D. C.
Welcomed with a friendly smile and a hello. Nice welcoming clean pub. Good selection of drinks available. The menu looked inviting. Lots of tables and also outside seating.
L. M.
We are from Ashford in Kent and we went up for the weekend found the pub as we were walking around it's a lovely pub friendly staff and the food was delicious would highly recommend if your visiting
A. f.
Exceptional pub food. The fish and chips are the best I've had whilst visiting London. The vegetarian sausages were surprisingly delicious. Try them! Staff were attentive and very nice. This place is a must.
D. S.
Great food and very friendly staff
S. B.
Brilliant service from Natasha and her team. Food was excellent, great value and a great range of beers. I'd recommend thre Camden IPA.
Ambiance perfect indoors whether you're meeting pals or dating.
Seating outside perfect for a hot summers day.
M. F.
Super comfy place, helped get bike in whilst interviewing nearby. People are nice and the drinks good too!
M. D.
Nice staff and the food is not bad for a pub either. I personally would recommend the Fried cauliflower, Fried mushrooms and Spicy fries.
Halloumi sticks and Calamari were nice.
Chicken wings and Fries with bacon topping were OK.
We tried many small plate dishes!
Unfortunately they don't serve bloody mary cocktails if that is something you might be after, at least while I was there.
T. T.
Used it as it was close to station while we killed time before our train back. Ordered Eggs benedict, no runny egg and sauce had started to form a skin. Good outside area though and ordered using the app, our drinks came almost immediately and 30min wait for food. Which isn't bad but not great. Would go back but only for drinks.
S. J.
Busy, young and unpretentious pub with nicely loud music and lots of silent tellys. You need ID to get in when it's late license. Fun if not sparkly clean.
E. D.
Great pub in Euston and fabulous prices for a London pub..staff are super friendly and food is great would definitely be back...Nice and clean pub
S. A.
Delicious food and lovely service. The beers were great and it’s an awesome spot to hang outside and enjoy a drink. Our server Noufel was very kind and accommodating as well!
B. S.
Bit pricey, circa £10 for a pint of pale al, and a pint of soda and blackcurrant. But good pub, good choice of drinks and food and good views of football on TV. Shame they keep playing music instead of the football commentary
T. P.
Cracking place, superb staff Natasha in particular was so welcoming and a delight! For a Super Sunday with Arsenal vs Chelsea I have yet to find a better place for an equal balance of fans looking to stop in; families after a long day out none the wiser! Peroni on tap topped off the whole experience. 2-0 down I don’t give a hoot!
E. B.
Lovely little pub friendly staff very spacious and plenty of screens to watch the sport
H. B.
For central London, great value beer and food. All day breakfast excellent, and beer well priced and fresh. Great location, and a decent sized pub. Loo’s could do with a refurb, subterranean and a little damp and smelly. But given the price, a London bargain!
G. p.
Kevin my man is the best .... Got me the best drinks of the night. The place is legit lit. Would definitely hang out here often!!
S. P.
Such a great local pub. Will definitely go back and enjoy the place again. Living in Scotland but would love this as my local
W. W. G.
Nice vibe I like this place. Great priced drinks. Shout out to the staff natasha! What a warm and positive welcome. What a really nice lady. Respect. X
S. W.
Nice pub, clean not to bad on prices, plenty of tv screens if you like your sport, not to busy at 2pm monday, had the burger and chips very tasty.
C. W.
Fantastic atmosphere ,service and food .Great welcome considering we're are Northerners.!Would recommend and go again when in yhe city .
J. M.
Warm and welcoming pub with lots of good veggie options. I was especially impressed with the vegan wings.
S. B.
Nice place, did offer many different opportunities on drinks and foods.
We were a group of 28 people, and they managed 24 hours before to get us tables and priorited us on the service!
L. O.
Lovely food, lovely wine, lovely staff - thanks Natasha and team!
S. K.
Nice enough pub been a couple of times while in the area . Nice friendly staff, good selection of drinks and was kept Nice a clean
R. I.
@the rocket owner. I dont think 3* is negative really. I had a OK experience, nothing stood out to be a 4 or 5 * sorry. - the staff were great served with a smile. Food was ok, nachos were bit disappointing as they were all hard and stuff. £3ish ? For the curly fries.. wasnt really worth it. Presentation looked alrite. Will I come bk again- yes. The experience wasnt bad but it wasnt outstanding either. Sorry.
T.
After 6-7h travelling to UK I was looking forward to eat and drink and. Near my hotel is the The Rocket pub. Nice, clean and big place to enjoy the beer. Staff are polite and fast with serving. I had the cheese & Bacon burger and was disappointed. The burger had no taste and the meat was try. Even the BBC sauce was not tasty. To much of a vinegar. Not sure if I was expecting to much but I remember from the past that Burgers are quiet good in UK. This one was below average, however the beer and the atmosphere are good.
S. H.
reasonably priced with good atmosphere Friday night when I went
D. T.
Big pub geared towards sports with big screens all over the place. Friendly and efficient staff. Good beer, a feed place to know!
J. B.
Good pub , decent ale and decent food, always go in there when I am in London..

A. E.

M. G.
Good place to watch sports. Nice atmosphere and good prices. Food is good too! However, pickpockets and thieves are operating inside the pub. Be careful with wallets and phones. We lost one hand bag.
L. G.
Visited The Rocket twice on our recent trip to London. Both times we had food and can honestly say it was lovely. Staff were lovely and attentive. Definitely be visiting again in October when we'll have The Sunday Roast. 😁
N. N.
Great pub especially for sports, fantastic service especially from Nowfel, always happy to see us with a smile!
M. T.
Whilst working away came in for a pint, lovely atmosphere and nice staff
S. H.
Ideally situated between two stations
Food spot on with service
If you're looking for sport on TV
Call in
Friendly staff well worth a refreshment break
S. G.
My friends and I always meet here before we go elsewhere and we love it. It's the perfect central pub for meeting, drinking and partying. Don't listed to Connor's music, he likes Bastille
D. G.
Nice pub. Went in at lunchtime when not as busy. Decent place.
R. M.
Great breakfast and good ale, staff were very attentive and totally on the ball.
J. S.
Great pub to watch the football, pretty loud, good atmosphere
J. M.

C. M.
I have to visit this area of London 5-6 times during the year and I make sure to visit the Rocket. This is a friendly public house with good staff and good food. It holds the full character of a classic London Pub, modern but with a classic internal look. I highly recommend the Rocket!
K. K.
Great pub grub, well priced drinks, welcoming atmosphere.
A. F.
Was pleasant experience the service in this pub was good its a large pub very close to King's Cross and Euston station and the British library this pub has garden area and serves food as well as beverage.
W.
Great food! Tasty and filling! Very reasonable prices too.
O. S.
The Rocket is a nice convenient place to grab a beer whilst you wait for your train. It's located between Euston station and st Pancras. The beer is priced cheaply for London and the staff are great. It could do with ( as with most pubs like this in London) with a little spruce up, but that's not any reason not to have a quick beer before you travel.
j. j.
Great traditional corner pub with a good outlook to people watch. Pub grub type menu. Outdoor tables also. I do not recommend you go to the bathroom! :(
Was clearly a popular bar for a drink after work & to watch sports on TV.
A. R.
Food very good, quick service, friendly staff. Good value meals.
J. J.
The food was delicious and we'll presented
10/10 place I'm definitely coming back 🙂
R. E.
Friendly atmosphere nice place good food and drink nice warm pub
T. B.
Wow. Terrible food. Next to no chips and burger that was overcooked and chewy. Staff were lovely even if they did get me a different lager to the one I ordered. They'd kill it in a better pub!
F.
Great place with a great atmosphere especially during football matches. The drinks are really nice and they always have deals and/or happy hour. One of my favorite places to grab a few drinks in London
S. B.
Nice pub with plenty of screens for live sport. Easy to order food and drink
R. B.
The Rocket is my group of friends go to place for great food, great selection of drinks and the atmosphere. The whole menu is at very reasonable prices and the staff are just amazing. The staff become more like your friends than just people who simply work there.
It was a shame that they were forced to close during the lockdowns due to Covid but when they have opened they have followed the standard practice of social distancing, ordering from tables and ordering online. The process is simple by scanning the QR code on all of the tables.
Please don't close. Stay open. London needs you!
P. M.
Lovely surroundings and a beautiful meal, will definitely be coming back.
L. a. D. B.
Brilliant friendly staff! Kevin is a super star! Food is delicious and they have a very accommodating chef! Highly recommend

N. M.

T. N.
Good pub. Toilets were nice and clean too👍
G. H.
Visited The Rocket 25-04-21 co-incided with League Cup Final at Wembley), so shortly after arriving the place started filling up with a very pleasant group of Man City fans - great banter exchanged between all. We ventured off for a couple of hours before returning to enjoy excellent meals. Cant speak highly enough of Jack who was constantly kept busy with food and drinks orders - but managed impeccably!
N. S.
busy pub but well organized, very nice food :) :)
C. a. A. P. C.
Great atmosphere with a tv view from every seat. Great affordable spot for watching the games while waiting for our Eurostar to Amsterdam. Hung out for a while and had a nice time eating, drinking and watching the World Cup matches. Food is average for pubs with good prices.
J. B.
£4.50 a pint very quick service
D. S.
I visited this pub near Euston train station on the Sunday 5th September 2021
This pub served adequate real ales on my visit good bar staff and clientele
This pub worth a try when in London
S. D.
Nice Venue - Named After One of The Venues in London Town where we frequented as Teenagers at all the Orange 🍊 Nights Events. Great Meeting Venue.
P. A.
We were after a table at very late notice and were struggling all around London. The legend of an owner managed to accomodate us at very late notice. Really nice atmosphere and lots of screens. Lovely place- good service is everything.🙌🙌

Very nice pub with very friendly and very nice staff, the manager Ivan, is a perfect home owner that make you feel like home and always satisfied your request. There are differents type of beer to make you happy, all fresh and flavoured which combined with an excellent kitchen make your experience unforgettable.... C. D.
Popped in with a few of my friends for a meal and to watch the football. The service was great served with a smile. The food was quick hot and a great selection. There are multiple TVs in the pub so great if you like sports. Will definitely be back soon
K. L.
This is one amazing pub Tony and Conor are brilliant at what they do. I came in not expecting to be made welcome being from the North but. The minute I walked in these two massive smile on their faces my me feel so welcome. If I ever found myself in London again I would take a later train home just so again could pop in here. Well done lads.
P. M.
Not a bad place for a drink if you can get a seat
N. C.
Excellent service and food was great. Courteous service from the staff, especially Connor. Plus points for honesty.
S. N.
Very friendly staff. I love the charm of the place. Could be cleaner.
The location is pocketed between Euston, St. Pancras, and Kings X stations, which makes it an ideal travel stop. And their breakfast is a life-saver if you are falling, jet-lagged off of an airport train. (Or, for some reason, hungover -- not saying it has happened to me.)
D. J.
Great...pub..loved the place.
Must go for shots
g. h.
Was OK watched the football in here. Stag are cool. Beer was pretty cheap for Central London
D. N.
Burger and a pint for a tenner. Not too bad. Food took a little while to come but nothing outrageous.
N. H.
Called in for a bit of Brekky, nice friendly staff, pleasant atmospere, and everyone at my table really enjoyed the grub! Cheers Rocket! :-)
i. c.
Was ok beer was slow and the food options were rather limited or not available but the beer was good and staff friendly
A. S.
Good pub for a swift one before grabbing the train home.
D. K.
Friendly staff, great service, good drinks 👍
G. S.
Very nice place wasnt overly busy and the bar people was very friendly
0.
Nice pub. Sports on TV. Friendly staff. Kitchen closes early tho. They have Stella!
A. A.
Good selection of beers and the food was perfectly reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful too. However what stood out for me was the service. Came on a Tuesday night primarily to watch a mid-week football match. The manager (Matt) was concerned that having the audio on for the football, would not be appreciated by his diners. Which is something I could sympathise with. However Matt, to his credit, then suggested he could open up a separate section of the bar to accommodate us. So his diners weren’t disturbed; those who wanted to, got to watch the match with some atmosphere.
Just nice to go to a place with some common sense, customer focused management.
S. J.
Spot on breakfast, good price, would recommend
A. M.
Nice place with good prices, the drinks aren't too strong, but its ok.
D. M.
Good food and drinks reasonably priced.
A. T.
Friendly service, fish & chips had large fish and taste was ok.
R. R.
Great location, in between Kings Cross & Euston. Difficult to get a table when it is busy but service is decent and good selection of beer and ales. Used to do a combo side offer with a drink which was good value for money. There are tables outside which is popular during warm months.
L. M.
Good lively pub near the station
P. J.
Tasty food, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff. Will be visiting again.
P. R.
Great place for live sports and a good time
D. T.
Good drinks and the food is nice.
M. V.
They have the order online at table system which makes it more covid secure (I think). Food was good service was friendly.
Z. R.
Now this is a place I would HIGHLY recommend good food excellent staff generally fantastic
A. P.
Food was nice, had a vegetarian breakfast.
M. T.
Went for a beer with my son but didn't try the food as we were on our way to a restaurant. A decent pint of real beer. Service was a little slow, but not too bad in view of the number of customers. Probably too few bar staff on duty. Reasonable choice of beers and lagers, but some beers not available due to changing barrels. A little crowded and noisy, but on the while a reasonable good place top drink and handy for Euston station.
C. E.
Local feel in a London pub, what was a swift pint watching the England 20-20 finish turned into a nice plate of food watching the football! Reasonably priced, the hot skillet mini mixed grill was very good!
C. A.
Lovely atmosphere - lots of groups of young people. Plenty of screens showing mostly sky sports news, but I'm sure they change it up. Prices are very reasonable - £10 bottles after 5.
Lost a star because the disabled toilet didn't feel very secure - the handle kept dropping from the "locked" to the "open" position - and because the women's toilet became out of order so there was a massive queue as they directed all the women to the one disabled toilet.
J. B.
The staff of very friendly and they welcome you with open a very enjoyable place to have a drink
E. K.
This was my second visit this week, both times for breakfast. The gentleman at the bar was polite, friendly and prompt in service. I ordered the large English breakfast today (sans toast) and it could not have been more filling. If you are coming from Euston or Kings Cross/St. Pancras this is an excellent stop for a bite to eat.
J. S.
Typical London pub. Great atmosphere . Good pub food excellent rose wine and good beers. Can get very busy when football on TV but great fun. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to Start Pancreas and Kings Cross stations.
T. C.
Good pint of peroni...at a reasonable price £5.20
S. A.
Cheap prices and good quality food. Large portions. Lighting was very nice and seating was great to fit me and all my friends
S. S.
Very good for football near 3 railway stations
A. K.
This is a large traditional pub with the addition of lots of food and TV screens showing sports. Service was friendly and efficient and the real ale well kept. The excellent Moondance IPA at 5% was £3.75 which is good by London standards. Weather permitting there are several tables outside where you can sit as we did to avoid the TV screens. We didn't try the food this time. Maybe next time as I will definitely come here again when I'm in the area.
K. M.
Loved it! Amazing atmosphere, great staff, reasonably priced and even better, friendly door staff for central london! Couldnt knock a thing. Karaoke was a good laugh as well, everyone supporting and cheering.
A. W.
Often visit the Rocket when I'm down in London, friendly staff serving a range of good beers including a good bitter in London Pride. The food was really good and there are plenty of TV screens to watch sport. Very convenient for Euston, St Pancras and Kings Cross railway stations.
B. B.
This pub is a classic. Very few places stay open late in this area. The staff is friendly and the drinks are cheaper than the other neighbouring places. They also play some music which can be welcomed late at night. One of my regulars!
J. E.
We enjoy breakfast at The Rocket every time we visit London. So far, we have been there 85 times in 2019- The food is prompt and well prepared and the English breakfast great value for the money. The staff is friendly and welcoming - especially Gemma. The Rocket will continue to be an important part of our London "home away from home."
I. D. M.
Lively place, lots of screens for sports, have the occasional DJ in there playing Motown vinyl. Fantastique!
A. O.
Nice atmosphere friendly staff was a nice night
S. L.
Lovely pub in the center of London but with a country feeling. Prices are very competitive and service was quick despite the pub being quite busy. A nice place to pop in for a beer if your travelling into Kings Cross/ St Pancras or Euston Station.
N. D.
Cute pub, absolutely loved it. Food is great and staff was very friendly. If I’m back in the area I’d definitely go again.
L. R.
Great service but toilets stunk of wee
M. K.
No nonsense London pub, friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff :)
M. Z.
A friend of mine gave me the advice to visit this Pub. The Pub is near the King’s Cross Station and easy to find. They showed a live football match at this evening. It was a bit crowdy but very amusing. The staff was friendly and the beer and cider tasty. I can recommend this Pub.
M. K.
Enjoy the drink with kevin @the rocket pub
P. K. W.
Flight late and transiting. Came to Kings Cross to meet family and very late lunch (4pm!).
Food was good - variety. Vegetarian, burger, mixed grill ordered. Adequate portions, reasonable price for pub food. Also some items ordered unavailable - chef suggested alternatives.
Would go again.
A. W. (. e.
OK this pub is a large pub selling beverage and food toy can be served inside or out in the beer garden, I ordered a Stella and wwra to eat service is quick and food is what you expect in a pub the food is put together in a nice way presented very good taste good clean an tidy pub on my visit there were quite a few people but due to the space it didn't seem over crowded at all. Very casual place for all types of folk.
C. M.
Drinks are averagely priced, atmosphere is so so.
L.
Went back here for the first time in 7 years. Still the great pub it always was! Good to see. When I lived in London the rocket was always the meeting point for every great night out. Down to earth, relaxed pub for anyone and everyone.
T. O.
Usually visit here for breakfast and yet to be disappointed. Bar is always clean & tidy. Bar staff are great ambassadors as they answer many questions to passing tourists. On the rare occasion that I visit after work again everyone is friendly. Great to see alone females being able to come in and not get pestered by the male contingent.
K. J.
Handy pub b tween Euston & St Pancras ,doom bar pint was £3-85, good price 4 London. Good food selection. Was there new year's eve afternoon. Only 2 front line staff when I was there, but no complaints about service. They did a 🌍 class job. Will be there next time in London.
R. S.
Cheap and cheerful, nice staff. Good price for the food.
Edit: on a side note, the coffee is horrid, it tastes burnt and watery at the same time.
P. B.
Good place to drink and eating.
M. H.
Good for late night beers.
M. K.
Food was tasty, and very enjoyable
M. H.
I have eaten here on a few occasions as I work across the road. Whilst the food can definitely be a bit hit and miss, (to be fair, more hit than miss,) I commend Gemma, the lovely lady behind the bar and her customer service. I had an issue with my food and she dealt with it quickly and efficiently, to my satisfaction and that is what you want when your food is not to your standard!
Prices are really good for the area, considering that everything around it starts at £10 just for food, you can get a burger, chips and a drink for £6.50, same or less than a Wetherspoons!
G. R.
I really like pubs like this one - the place is well kept and unlike the most pubs in London, it's always clean. The food is pretty good and most importantly, reasonably priced. The service is prompt as well. There are some music nights too - on Friday and Saturday, so go there and enjoy.
M. M.
Nice atmosphere and fabulous food!!
A. O.
After finding bad customer service at another establishment near the station, walked down to this one. The breakfast was fairly priced, good portion. The staff that were working on Saturday morning were all really friendly and helpful.
S. D.
Woman was a bit moody last time (maybe London got to her) but otherwise great pub. Very cheap, good range of drinks, close to Kings Cross and Euston stations. Good for watching sport...even seen rugby league in there before. Great for northern visitors.
A. F.
Standard English pub with decent food. Staff are polite and professional. The smell in the toilets was pretty strong. We had nachos and they were ok. Honest pub convenient and close to the yrtrain stations. Don't expect the world.
P. T.
Came in on Saturday afternoon and place was heaving. Managed to find table and ordered food and drink very quickly. Fried halloumi and chips was basic but tasted fine, had another pint after and again served quickly. Decent little place.
C. M.
Standard pub. Good atmosphere. Wouldn't allow us to move tables to sit as a group as we'd block a fire exit, which is fair enough really. The staff all seem reasonable and there's a strong mix of people there.
B. W.
Decent beer good atmosphere
J. M.
Enjoyed a very tasty breakfast in traditional English pub surroundings for a very reasonable price by London standards. Staff member who was on was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this place. Hope to visit again to sample the publife vibe sometime soon.
a. d.
Great food, good music and warm and friendly staff
S. C.
A decent pub ,beer selection not bad. Friendly staff but not enough of them. Busy with office bods having a quick one after work and travellers heading to nearby kings cross or Euston.
T. G.
Amazing night, defo gonna come, nowfel was a class waiter
P. W.
Always worth a visit when heading home from London,
L. B.
Tired of paying £12 to £15 for a good plate of pub food? Finally there is a place that offers the same quality of pies, chips, and everything else you could want from the pub at up to half the price you'd pay elsewhere! Not only are the prices fairer than almost anywhere else, but it's also conveniently located in walking distance of the British Library and the King's Cross/St. Pancras International Train Stations.
I would highly recommend this place to tourists and locals alike!
F. D.
Lovely pub near London Euston station. Affordable prices
C. H.
Handy pub just minutes away from Euston Station.
M. i. G.
Favorite place have been there many times thanks for everything but those tables can be more clean please!.
J. P.
Nice pub with friendly service, drinks are reasonable price. They do a very cheap burger and drink deal if that is what you are after. However I ordered just a portion of fries with my drink and they were rather expensive for the small amount of fries you get.
D. N.
Very nice pub near Euston. Watched the Brazil Belgium match and there were very good vibes! Would definitely come back if I am around there. Pints are relatively well priced as well.
C.
Cheap pub, good beers near to northern train terminals. Sky sports too.
j. l.
This was local to my hotel so popped in for a pint in the evening cheapest price for a pint that I found in London
L. C. M.
Great drinks, awesome prices and Tasha is a diamond 💎
B. H.
Class pub, Natasha was amazing
a. d.
Very pleasant hospitality cheap and very refreshing drinks after hot day hyde park. Food gorgeous and tasty. Only here till monday but if was in area again would definitely come again. I rate 100% and if knew anyone in this area would advise come here. Def thumbs up well done to the staff etc
O. B.
Rating's do not do this place justice. Usually filled with young-professionals and students giving the place a brivant atmosphere. Quite chill also on your average day off. Great for a beer and burger with nothing fancy. Very friendly feel.
J. C.
The reviews below were before the recent renovations to the pub. The food is now very good and the atmosphere is a lot less studenty. However is still a student pub and would not recommend if you are looking for somewhere to eat in the evening with a relaxed atmosphere
S. S.
Had few drinks with colleagues here few weeks ago, friendly staff and nice large windows with benches outside. Outside area is shaded in the evening and offers a very nice place to sit and drink on a warm nice day out in London (a rarity !!!) Nibbles were very good and the overall bill doesnt burn a hole in your pocket... very nice pub, recommended for get-to-gether with friends, leaving dos etc.
G. B.
Nice pub reasonable prices friendly staff good atmosphere plenty of seating didn't try the food as I only popped in for a quick one but it looked really nice big thumbs up from me
박. (.
Good place to get there, convenient meal.
L. B.
Just had food and some drinks at this pub. So nice to be greeted by a smiley chatty young woman. Happy I visited
K. W.
Lovely pub, great atmosphere, kevin is the best!!!
C. F.
Returning home from an overnight stay with my husband so went for breakfast before the train. Pub was busy but the 2 barman were doing the best, food and drink was good but the chef was abusive and stomping around the bar.
C. H.
Great staff visited for a football match while we were in London
A. N.
A vast old-school pub which has a great atmosphere in the evening when it's busy, but is a bit soulless during the day. A good place to do some proper drinking, not such a good place for a romantic meal and a glass of wine.
L. M.
Beers were cheap and the place was full. Seem to be the place for knock off drinks. Tried to chat with 2 bar keepers but they didnt seem keen nore happy. I just ordered 3 beers and left. The smoking patrons smoked outside and instead of using ash trays provided they threw thier cigarette butts on the doorway ground. Gives me an interaction on the majority of customers go there.
M. M.
My wife and I spent most of our honeymoon in Paris, yet we came and visted London. I literally had the best burger ive ever had for lunch and got to try the London Lager. The staff was super awesome and i formstive on beer selections considering im from the states. Not to mention that night when I came back they were really friendly since I was by myself. This restaurant made our two days in London awesome.
D. G.
Great pint and food
G. J.
The sort of pub for a Friday night knees up. No subtlety. Large premises, very noisy. Screen sports. Food available, pretty good selection of beers. For the younger crowd.
K. C.
Fantastic place great music loafs of fun
R. A. G.
What you see is what you get with this local pub that also attracts the odd traveler from further afield.
Very reasonable prices especially considering the location (nestled on one of the busiest streets in London, surrounded by a warren of Tube lines and immediately between three of the country's most significant railways termini).
Serves food but mainly drink. ✌
P. a. M. F.
Been to the Rocket a number of times with the Mrs, following appointments at UCLH, normally manage to catch the breakfast menu which is great. Today we were 10 mins late due to trains being screwed, so tried the lunch menu. Food was great as always, all be it service today was slow (probably due to football being on), but worth the wait.
M. M.
not amazing, not delicious, just bar food.
J. G.
The Food was good for the price, the beer was good and not expensive, so was the wine
The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed watching the football - great atmosphere
E. T.
Large and decent pub near British Library. They do daily deals and the food is good enough, especially for the price they charge! Worth coming here to catch up with mates or have a few drinks before moving on to somewhere else
J. N.
Huge pub with lots of screens for sports. Popular for footy and travelling fans too. Good value
E. H.
Food was okay, on par with Wetherspoons in my opinion. Staff were a mixture of friendly and disinterested.
My main gripe was that - during a rugby match being shown on the televisions around - some (very drunk and very rude) patrons began loudly swearing and intimidating others, and nothing was done about their behaviour.
I can understand it's not an easy situation to deal with, but still, seeing that young children were there especially, that there was no attempt to discourage, let alone deal with, this hooliganism has meant that I probably won't be going back.
This is not to say that my experience is representative of The Rocket - just don't go on a match day if you're looking to just enjoy a meal and a drink. I wish the place all the best in the future.
J. S.
Super Fun for a Thursday night! Karaoke & locals & internationals, oh my!
I wish it was my local...
J. F.
I think they are doing a grand job in an awkward situation and the staff are a great asset. The meal we had was lovely. Give them a go.
J. E.
Top boozer for quick good bar food and drinks
a. i.
Top for location, the outside seating area is a good spot to enjoy a pint and watch people. the food is decent standard pub grub. reasonable pricing considering the location
H. C.
Nice Pub I like to go after work with a good selection of beer. Sometimes you have to wait too long at the bar. The toilets need to be cleaned more regulary.
P. Y.
Reasonably priced, found my favourite cider it was very well chilled and liked it and yes their Ultimate Sharer was damn good. Overall good experience!
H. B.
Conor is the best person I have ever met in my life and he is the best Barman I have ever had
I. P.
Ordered its Christmqd lunch menu with turkey with yorkshire pudding on the side. The yorkshire pudding came only after I asked for it twice, first to the young male waiter then to the presumably to the manager. My plate came with boiled green pease and carrots while as I observed other customer had brocolis on their plate for the same menu. The worst part it, of the girl waiter who is wearing nose ring took a fries from a customers plate that was about to be served! The food tasted nice though.
J. V.
Went on a random Friday night to meet a friend and it was nice and quiet, good service and great place for 1 or 2. After 9pm a DJ comes out and it turns into something wierd but still recommended for a Friday night before 9pm
I. P.
great London pub with good food without the LONDON PRICES
T. F.
Good food selection and cheaper than normal prices for both food and drinks. Weekly and daily specials are also good. The beer could have been colder and toilets weren’t too clean but would definitely revisit.
S. H.
Always lively in here
N. D.
Quick service and decent beer selection. Outdoor seating during the pandemic.
C. B.
Watching sports in here is like nowhere else. Raucous, hot and fun (if you like that sort of thing). Otherwise there's a decent selection of beers and pub food, and about 20 TVs. Regularly understaffed when busy, so be patient if you visit.
C. A.
The staff was nice. The bar has a bit of a strange layout but some very kind and friendly people frequent it. Worth a visit.
D. R.
Handy pub, if waiting for the train.
f.
Good place for beer and breaking pre footy
P. C.
Good pub, friendly staff, not very busy at the moment with the virus about, well worth stopping off at for a drink if you are on the Euston road
A. M.
Fair choice of real ales and very handy for Euston.
Extremely impressed by female barworker, managed not to serve ANYONE during time we were there, despite being asked by bar manager.
G. L.
Honeymooned up the road and had dinner here one night, food was great and prices were quite cheap for both food and drinks. Overall a very decent pub!
N. W.
Been here many times. Its a great place to meet friends coming down for football. It has the cheapest Perroni beer ive found anywhere in town. £4.80 a pint
S. E.
Lovely food at decent prices. Drinks are very reasonable too. Friendly staff and easy to book a table to ensure a good night out
M. F.
Nice pub 5 mins from Euston Station Ghostship on tap
A. M.
Always call in here on a night out in London (usually on way back to Kings Cross) Always food drinks at a good price, with good service -even when packed! Frequently have excellent bands..
M. W.
A great place to eat within easy reach of Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras stations on the Euston Road. Good service, great music and well priced meals and drinks make this the ideal place for refreshments on arriving into London. *****
M. M.
Good food and beer. Down side, very noisy. Last time there I asked for a gin tonic and couldn't prepare it as they didn't have tonic water
B. M.
Ok pricing for central London. Fair pub food. Chips and peas ex frozen otherwise ok. Mainstream beer selection. Staff fine and helpful. Convenient for Euston Station.
S. C.
Service was not bad to say there was only 2 guys on but the chef was rude to one of guys on the bar, felt sorry for him. Drink was good, food was ok too
M. B.
Not bad. Sausage and egg bap was tasty
P. P.
Had to wait a short time for a table, but well worth the wait! Place clean, Food fab, staff friendly, will be back next time in London! would recommend to anyone!
S. T.
This pub is great, love the atmosphere and vibe of the place not to mention the fantastic food and drinks on offer, especially the Camden Pale ale 👍
R. S.
Refurbished since my last visit. Fairly standard range of beers; Pride, TEA, Hells, Camden Hells. Nice surroundings and pleasant staff
A. C.
Food was lush recommend 👌
J. A.
After lockdown I wasn't sure what to expect but got to the pub after having a operation and was welcomed by the staff. Peter at the bar was brilliant will definitely be back 👍
C.
Visited just for breakfast, which was very reasonably priced and offered unlimited tea and coffee alongside the breakfast for £1.29 (2/12/17). It is very handily placed between Euston and Kings Cross stations, about 5 minutes walk from each
T. C.
Nowfel, he’s the man great service and a cracking fella , great to be served by you
P. B.
Decent place for a few drinks - close enough to Euston Train Station. Felt a bit mean so upped it to four stars because they are all really nice people.
M. G.
Very nice pub, good food & good beers
V. C.
A reasonably priced pub, being so close to Euston and kings Cross stations. Plenty of seating indoors and few benches out side. Serve pub meals and sharing platters for groups.
S. C.
We were starving and the food and services was spot on.
P. W.
Food good, staff helpful.
N. S.
Plenty of tv screens for live rugby and football. Good selection of real ales, craft beers and lagers. Big improvement on 5 years ago .
P. T.
Came in on Saturday afternoon and place was heaving. Managed to find table and ordered food and drink very quickly. Fried halloumi and chips was basic but tasted fine, had another pint after and again served quickly. Decent little place.
A. Y.
Try not to sit outside unless you like being asked for money. Decent choice of food and drink in convenient location
J. A.
After lockdown I wasn't sure what to expect but got to the pub after having a operation and was welcomed by the staff. Peter at the bar was brilliant will definitely be back 👍
R. W.
Nice pint and England took a few South African wickets while I drank it.
J. V.
Went on a random Friday night to meet a friend and it was nice and quiet, good service and great place for 1 or 2. After 9pm a DJ comes out and it turns into something wierd but still recommended for a Friday night before 9pm

Enjoyed my beer in here and staff were sound also ... Nice atmosphere in there when I visited... Certainly will call back in next time in London for a meeting 👍👍

Bit of a dive bar. Drinks are cheap and the bar staff were nice. People in there were all getting black out drunk which makes for good people watching
L.
Nice place with nice people working there. :)
A. N.
Pretty nice late night pub though midnight onwards definitely had some people who perhaps shouldn't have been drinking
C. G.
Cracking pub. Well priced, good selection of beers. Food is quality. Ideally situated when I'm down for work too so win win 👍😁
A. F.
Stumbled across the rocket pub after getting off a 3hr train ride. Was hungry and looking for breakfast. Staff friendly, breakfast amazing and well priced :-)
M. C.
Decent pub. Can be slow when busy. Only plays sports commentary during the game so you miss out on the build up and atmosphere.
G. J.
Excellent food well kept drinks amazing cheap prices for central London .
Thank you to all the friendly staff .
G. C.
Had breakfast here, was lovely, but a bit slow, varieties of beers made up for that, pleasant staff.

Great for a quick bite before travelling!
P. L.
Breakfast is reasonably priced but busy at weekends with football fans seeing games in London.

S. S. (.
Traditional pub grub and a lot less than traditional London prices but good quality and portion sizes.
S. K.
Must’ve gone on an off night. The staff seemed very unhappy to be there and getting served felt like a real effort. Otherwise seemed like a decent enough place. Good size with lots of space.
L. P. H.
This small restaurant/café is beautiful. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. There is a lot of beers and food you can get here.
N. B.
Toilets need a good clean. They absolutely stink
A. R.
One of the most fun pubs in London. Awesome music, good deals and all around chill atmosphere. Would go back in a heartbeat

P. A.
Lovely fish and chips 😁
L. C.
Awesome full English breakfast at very reasonable prices. However, the bar staff were bloody miserable.
D. C.
Nothing special. They had finished the beer that I liked it and the food was simply. at least it's a place open where many people can stay together.
T. T.
Friendly staff, cheap-ish drinks and food, mega burgers that fill a hole in your stomach on a hangover. Very handy if you've got time to kill at Euston station - it's only a few minutes' walk away!
P. J.
Come here all time when visiting London. Food looked ok. Good place for a beer
S. B.
Good place to visit if you prefer walking around London rather than the Underground (I do). Reasonable prices (for London) and a good selection of drinks.

D. J.
Great pub for a friday night with your mates just had mack and cheese and doom bar ale the best
N. S.
Was fine for a quick stop off, although the toilets were downstairs and you could still smell drains upstairs in the bar area.
K.
Could do with a refurbished but the only staff member working was fantastic and the food was lovely.
A. S.
Handy for after British Library drinks and food, but does the sport really need to show all round the pub when only a handful in one corner were really interested?
H. W.
Well priced, lots of specials on food and drink. Friendly staff. A bit grubby though and not much atmosphere.
G. R.
Great vibe. Thanks to the manager who managed to squeeze 2 if us in !
M. F.
Good food, beer was OK. Its close to the train station which is a plus. It's OK for a quick drink and bite of lunch at a reasonable price.

W. B.
Student haunt, great value for money on the food, good selection of drinks, outdoor seating, and lots of giant TVs showing sports if that's your thing
J. A.
The atmosphere was that of a dolphins rectum, moist and unpleasant at first, however... warmed up to be almost rubbery to the touch, a slight squelch to an otherwise unsquelching evening.
D. N.
Went for lunch fish and chips was superb. Beer selection was great, results were perfect.
J. T.
The best pub near euston station had a doom bar ale and nice cod and chips peas
