Reviews of The Royal Exchange Pub

Stumbled across this place last night, packed to the rafters with an amazing group of people from all walks, eclectic wasn't the word. Great selection of beers and the most random music. Will definitely visit again, worth a trip for fans of a "proper pub"

Proper English pub, which is almost impossible to find in London these days.

Great place to hang out with real local alcoholics 🍺 everyone is very friendly

Thursday nights the best as 4 DJ'S play a wide range of Tunes. Love the place.

The Royal Exchange has recently been taken over. It's an empty bar that needs a lot of custom. That's nothing to do with the beer or the staff. I had a couple of excellent pints here. Accompanied by a great conversation with the barman James.
They are aiming for quality beer in an area of London that is sorely lacking in that respect. i hope to go back soon to see the progress they've made.

This was my local for a week in August 2017. Loved the place, proper local boozer, full of locals, boozing.

I arrived wearing a fedora and a hazelnut corduroy jacket and immediately felt at home. The conversation with both staff and customers was cordial and friendly. Looking forward to visiting once again.

A lovely little corner boozer, just a couple of minutes off the Edgeware Road, newly re-opened with a very impressive selection of craft beers. On the list when I visited were Five Points, Kernel, Mondo, and Pilot, with imported beers from Belgium and elsewhere.
A lovely spot to pass away the hours, and very friendly and helpful staff too.
I'll be back!

Stayed nearby for a few nights, had a couple great evening pints here. Nice local place to stop for a drink & chat with the bar tender!

Great beer but it was empty, I was on my own and the bar staff ( 2 of them for an empty pub ) could not even be bothered to strike up a conversation with me.
