Reviews of The Sporting Page

Excellent service. I called to ask were they showing the Irish rugby game and they said they were only showing the All Blacks. About 5 minutes later, one of the bar staff phone me to say they would put it on for me. Brilliant follow service. The staff were so friendly and the beer lovely. I will definitely come back here.

Nice little oub tucked away in the back streets of Chelsea. Has a couple of cask ales and keg beers. Slightly upmarket menu with Sunday roasts

Nice area , staff are pleasant , the seating area outside is unusual and feels relaxing . Inside the decor is adequate , and modern ,
Choice of drinks was good. Toilets were up to standard . And I think it's quite a nice venue to take friends and family. I had a nice time there .
S. W.
Great sports bar showing live football on a large screen. Nice bitter on tap. Intimate feel. What’s not to like?
F. B.
This was a bit of an average pub, nothing too special! The drinks were usual price (about £5 for a beer and £6/7 for a glass of wine), and nothing stood out to me as very interesting or exciting, despite being a Saturday night.
If you're after a drink in the area though, I'd still pop in for one drink if I were you. It's pleasant enough, and it is a lovely old building, from the outside. It had a nice grand bay front door that's nice and traditional. The bar menu looked like a good variety too, but we didn't try any of the food. They also do play sports on a projector screen, so that's a good point too 👍🏻

Probably the last remaining proper pub in this area. Good beers generally.
I prefer to dine in a restaurant if I want food
I'm not a local local but have used pub for over 40 years. On the whole most of the locals are friendly and not too arrogant (Chelsea!).
H. E.
Loved it, calm vibe and great service. Managed to watch an England cup match in there. Maybe a bit larger tv’s or more tv’s would be ideal
D. M.
This was my local pub when I worked at Chelwest hospital some years ago
Had a good ambience with helpful staff and good food
J. E.
Iconic little locals pub right in the heart of Chelsea. Great for a beer after work or traditional English Roast on Sundays!
C. K.
Lovely pub, very busy on a match day
J. W.
Always a treat . The outdoor seating was plentiful; we were able to hand a table without having to reserve. Chaps serving were great. Nice beer. Great to be back.
G. L.
It was an okay pub. Nothing special but definitely a nice and cosy pub. We had beers and chips. They have a limited selection of drinks and the typical pub food. The staff were all smiles and friendly. I'd still recommend this place if you want to relax and have a booze.
C. L.
Food was lovely and the staff were amazing, really friendly and also got served very quick, can’t go wrong, would highly recommend!
K. D.
A beautiful neighborhood pub. Should be on your Saturday pub crawl list.
D. G.
Great little spot, stopped off for one drink and loved sitting outside, bar staff very friendly and welcoming
A. A.
Good pub with reasonable prices for the entirely unreasonably priced area. Have live music on a Friday and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Celebrated my birthday there with work colleagues and we had a great time.
Is a little tight on seating inside but the outside are accommodates a lot and you get good sun as it faces south. They food is good as well even if some the dishes are a tad pretentious
g.
Top local, friendly staff, wide beer and gun selection. Nice outdoor seating
f.
Visited the sporting page to watch the grand national. Great staff, all tables were booked but they went out of their way to sort us out. Great selection of drinks and lots of screens to watch the racing on. Lovely pub
P. W.
Had a great eve here watching the football. Laid back pub with a nice bunch of people, not just braying aresholes!
M. G.
Warm and friendly pub with Sky Sports. They also have a great drinks promotion; for new customers you can get a ten pound bar tab just by signing up. There's also seating outside the front with heaters. Favourite pub in Chelsea.
M. R.
Fabulous beer - good selection of lagers and they always have a couple of interesting (and great) ales in the cellar.
Good pub grub.
Great place, good atmosphere, outdoor tables, its the right space - never feels too packed, never feels too empty.
D. H.
Very friendly staff. Friendly and bright environment. Pleasant music on and not too loud.
D. P.
Didn't like the burger and fries were dry and tasteless but wife loved their pot pie. They got the 3 stars because the bartenders were nice and the London Pub setting was comfortable
E. M.
beautiful area, fantastic friendly stuff.
K. E.
At 11am on a Saturday, this cute, old pub was filled with friendly faces enjoying their first pint of the day before the Chelsea game or a cup of coffee while reading the paper.
M. B.
They wouldn't let us have a drink because no tables available but would have been nice otherwise!
T. M.
Friendly Chelsea pub with good service

Great service, great beer selection, great food, good vegetarian selection and well put together dishes with great taste.
Also, lovely view of a particularly nice charcoal grey coloured house!
G. C.
Beer was good, burger bun and chips were a bit dry. Pub looks ok, nothing special. Pub quiz on Sunday night, a few board games, and projector and big screen for showing matches.
A. C.
Love the page. Lovely staff. 100mbps wifi! Lovely creamy Guinness, what’s not to love?
d. c.
Nice place for a few pints and good food - well worth a visit! Pics later!
A. G.
Great sports pub. Tiny space so get there early
E. C.
Lovely little pub, nestled between the busy Kings and Fulham Rd's. Timber floors, great draught ales, and dog friendly...always a good sign. Catches the sun in the evening...and draws quite an after work crowd. Lovely to sit outside on an afternoon, and read a paper, or just drink a relaxing pint...away from (some of!) the bustle of the Fulham Rd. Georgie Best famously frequented the place...presumably AFTER the match..
G. M.
Great pub!! Nice staff and good food!!
A. I.
My favourite venue to watch rugby and cricket. On big match days it can be a squeeze but then you are with other sporting nuts! Great atmodphere!
