Beautiful excellent pub nestled in Covent Garden. There is alot of pubs in the area and The Sun Tavern really stands out with full of life and character. Guinness was excellent and the Espresso Martini in tap was amazing! Cannot recommend more if you're in the area! If you liked my review feel free to give it a 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews!

Good music, drinks on tap were as expected, friendly staff, good prices. This is a quintessential london pub experience. As a bonus the stairs are quite aesthetically pleasing. Pretty solid drink and shot menu for a pub. Would definitely return.

Free to make a booking and had a good time on a friday night for my leaving do, was not crowded upstairs so easy to get served and friendly staff. Big bowls of chips, sweet potato chips, onion rings etc so we bought quite a few for the table to share.

A lovely pub nestling close to the Royal Opera House, Long Acre and Drury lane. The staff are wonderful and funny. A most delightful atmosphere prevails in the upstairs bar. A great open fire and most substantial fayre to consume along with the grog. A great place to enjoy a pint or two in tier two London.

A very nice pub in Covent Garden, with nice atmosphere and s lovely music playlist in the background. They have a couple of real ales and a fair selection of other beer and wine. They serve food too, of course. Highly recommended. If you want you can book private functions in the upstairs bar.

Located mid-way between the Royal Opera House and Covent Garden Tube Station, this traditional pub serves many purposes. The ground floor bar benefits from huge arched windows, lots of mirrors and tall furniture - giving it an airy feel. The upstairs bar & restaurant is apparently more cosy. On all of my visits the staff were really friendly. Would definitely visit again as some of the nearby competitors just feel too cramped. PS. The sign by the loos amused me!

The Sun is a big airy place - ceilings must be at least 15 feet high. Very clean, almost anti-septic, but the beer was good and that was the purpose of my visit. The pub is on The Cask Marque Ale Trail, and I was there to evaluate the beer and scan the certificate. You'll need the help of staff for this last bit, the certificate is kept almost out of reach up high behind the bar (not common practice)

This is a great pub round the back of Covent Garden and is remarkably quiet-ish! I've reserved the area upstairs previously and that was really super too. The staff are friendly and although its a little pricy it is Covent Garden!

Decent pub just off central Covent Garden tourist area, so not too busy and prices not too steep. About £4.50 for a pint of Old Peculiar is not bad. More of a business pub than a visitor's one. Did not try food. Nice interior of wood & glass. Second bar upstairs for private functions. Worth seeking out as a genuine place amongst so much sham.

We regularly visit the upstairs bar at The Sun Tavern to enjoy a couple of drinks in a relaxing atmosphere and also for the accompanying, satisfying good quality food. Our personal thanks go to the lovely General Manager Deanna.

A good place for private hire in a central London location in Covent Garden. I went here for a friend's birthday, we had the the upstairs area reserved which was good. So this is more a review on the reserved area I did not use the main bar. A private bar and seating area, serving food and drink it could have had a bit more seating. The service was good it was a nice place, nothing special.

Conveniently located near Covent Garden but just far enough away to avoid the heaviest tourist crowds. Friendly and helpful staff, there is a dining room upstairs and a small pub on the ground floor where food may also be ordered from the menu. There are a few vegetarian items on the menu, and ask about daily drink specials.

We used The Sun Tavern for our annual Christmas party. They provided an upstairs bar which was perfect for the event - the real fireplace is a nice touch. It was comfortable, the food was good, and the staff were great.

The Pie also liked us a lot since it was very cooked and the accompaniment was fair and sufficient.
