Reviews of The Swan Tavern, EC3
D. S.
One of four ‘proper’ traditional pubs to choose from in Leadenhall Market and certainly the smallest. Downstairs is tiny although there is more room for dining upstairs. Most people tend to gather in the partially covered alleyway to the side and now, since COVID-19 times, there are plenty of seats here too.
Unlike many Fullers pubs this offers their full range of ales; all well kept. Staff are friendly - definitely worth a visit.
P. S.
Very small Fuller's City pub. Popular for standing outside. Has upstairs for food. Friendly staff and good beer. Edit the city is much more busy now. Still a great pub to visit

Great traditional London pub. Very small downstairs but take a walk up stairs. Plenty of tables now out side. Not as busy as it used to be but worth a tourist visit or for London workers!
T. M.
My kind of pub, traditional with great beers and delicious food and a lovely unique atmosphere.
J. R.
Nice tiny pub for a quick catch up drink. More of a stand outside place. Lack of fullers beer but most probably down to covid
P. M.
Pub on 2 levels with limited capacity indoors and seating outside. Friendly staff, pleasant surroundings and good real beer.

Great little boozer with friendly staff and good beer. Bit small and often busy but there are chairs outside.
F. A.
Really cool little pub tucked behind the M&S staff have always been friendly take a jacket if it's not a very hot day, it can get a bit nippy.
Reasonably priced, COVID secure.
Happy customer

good place to drink a delicious beer cozy place quiet and cheap I recommend it
J. M.
Small but charming historic pub tucked away in the centre of the city. A good range of beers on tap and the service was friendly and accomodating. The atmosphere in the upstairs bar was great, really nice not to have to constantly listen to potentially suspect music all the time.
J. M.
Wonderful tiny City pub.

The downstairs of this pub is no more than 8 feet wide. Internal decor is wood and gives the stablishment a Victorian feel. A Fullers pub with other hand pulled ales on offer. Upstairs there is more room and a wider space. There is also a second bar here so the tricky stairs need not be regularly negotiated unless the toilet is required

Had a midweek lunch in this cosy little place. The downstairs bar is tiny so if you want to eat, best to head upstairs. It's not much bigger, but there are places to sit. The menu is limited, basic pub grub, but what we had was perfectly good. It was very busy when we were there with lunchtime drinkers, so if you want a seat, get there early!

Tiny vintage boozer, not bad. Perilous journey to the bathroom
J. L.
One of most unique drinking establishments in City. One of my favourites. Great beers. Superb sandwiches too. Nothing not to like. Highly recommend. Always on my to do list.
R. P.
I love this type of pub. Proper old fashioned London pub.
L. G.
Great place for a family halt. You can spend some time here to read, have a lunch and relax on sofas next you your dog.
They provide water, make you feel comfortable and there is always some good music.
This place is definitely a "to go" for anyone wanting a peaceful place to enjoy before or after a trio to the park with friends or your little 4 legged companion.

Its ok. Popped in for a couple of drinks. It is tiny inside but does have an upstairs. The toilet all seemed to have problems while we were there. Only one person serving but she was quick enough to cope. On a gentle pub crawl it was worth stopping in for.
M. W.
Cosy Fuller's pub on the corner of Leadenhall Market. Well kept beers and a short, but recommended, menu of toasted sandwiches and similar fare (salt beef in brioche bun was very good). Pleasant staff and good service go some way in mitigation of City prices
A. W.
My local in the City of London. Absolutely love this this place.

I really enjoyed coming here. This is a really tiny put that is kind of hard to find if you don't know about it. I must have passed by it a million times, but if my friend had not told me it was across from the GAP, I wouldn't have found it. The pub itself is very small, but if it is a nice day outside it is lovely to just stand outside of it. It sits on a dead end street so there is no foot traffic albeit the pub is off a main road. Most people here work in the City and I think I was the only woman there apart from the bar staff. I would go back. The beer is good, and the atmosphere is less hectic than Leadenhall Market right next door.
J. B.
Very small pub which has little more than a serving bar on the ground floor. Most people drink on the pavement outside. Friendly and chatty bar staff who serve a good range of beer, wine and bar snacks.
C. T.

A nice compact boozer behind Leadenhall Market, with several cask choices you probably won't see in other Fuller's venues.
