This pub is attached to the Holiday Inn, and as we were stuck for somewhere to eat friday night they took walk-ins so we gave them a go for a bite. Service was fairly quick for beers, and there was an offer of a burger + pint outside so I plumped for that (but it was only a specific type of cheeseburger. The chips were a small basket but thick-cut and dryly crispy, a great accompaniment; sauces came in small sachets and were a bit limited to typical ketchup and mayo. The place wasn't too crowded and we were happy to sit and mellow, taking in the news up on screens all around. I've eaten here before and I'll certainly return when I'm in the area; there are plenty of other places around nearby but many closed due to the pandemic, so it's nice to get some normality there.

It's in an ideal place when staying at the Holiday Inn. Service was swift and very polite, food was great reasonable priced. Good selection of drinks. Definitely go back there again.

Hard really to say these days with the bloody virus. Guinness came in a plastic glass which was annoying but not as bad as it could have been. The decor is standard hotel fake pub and done fairly well if in a room too big for the theme. Overall it's fine with nothing to worry about.

Okay but very disorganized. We had an event yesterday and there were no hot drinks and we were told this would take 30 mins for a drink. The staff seemed confused. Expensive too but that's what you expect from a bar in a hotel!

Great place, the staff were friendly, good choice of beers, limited wine but what they had was very nice. The food was fantastic, we ate here on a Saturday night and it was packed. We were waiting for a while but as soon as they knew we had tickets for a show they put a rush on our order. The steak was cooked to perfection and the battered fish was top notch, crispy and light. The only reason I have taken a star is because of the service charge of 12.5%. I think tipping should be a choice for the customer not an automatic charge.

One best hotel pubgood food excellent staff,food cooked a la minute not like some pubs .Nice atmosphere if someone go there try cajun salmon,very popular with vegetables or salad,spinach salad with chicken or salmon.steak pie one best dishes in area where taste proper red wine sauce.Very good fish and chips,and the burgers ask for the hot bird burguer as not I menu .Nice cold beers and good diversity of wines.

Stayed at the hotel next door and this was a great place to experience fish & chips for a short stay in London. We came right when the kitchen was closing and they accommodated with providing food. A bit pricey for drinks but good hang out location for what seemed like mostly tourists. There are some cooler pubs nearby but this one was the only one offering food a bit later (~11PM).

I have enjoyed appetizers, fish and chips and my favorite, the veggie pizza. The fried items taste fresh! The pizza is well dressed with a lot of flavor. Also, a good beer selection-imagine that! It does get quite festive about 6:30pm. I look forward to returning to the Tavern.

Popular with tourists due to its proximity to the hotel, it does have a startling aroma when you first enter. It is not very accessible for disabled folk, so bear that in mind. The service was very good and our food was also on point.

It's an OK hotel bar / pub. Good range of beers on tap. Lots of seating and TVs. Lots of dark wood and low level lighting doesnt lift the mood really though. Good for one or two or if staying at the hotel. Wouldn't do much else there.

Ok place attached to the holuday inn. Coors light £4.80. food not cheap but looked ok. American football on tv when i was in. They have a happy hour between 6-8 pm but if my coors was half price then its bloody expensive!, Doesnt make it clear what happy hour is once you get inside so I would ask before ordering. All i could see was 25 chicken wings for £12. 4 bottles of corona for £15 or soup and pie for £17!! Happy hour but not as I know it! Looks to be around 20-30 tables and was busy when I was in so they must be doing something right.

Nice place to have a drink if you stay overnight around Gatwick airport. I was there on a Tuesday night and there was live music. You get the feeling of a local pub where everybody seems to know each other.

This place has been a life saver when working in London, as it is less frequented than other places it is a busy area of the City and when on expenses you are limited. Wood fired pizza's are good and drinks although at London prices there is plenty of choice!

The TV screens allow to see the different sports, atmosphere guaranteed the night of big games. Important, children are accepted and it is possible to eat on site. If there are no places, they offer to go to the restaurant located on the side of the holiday inns. I recommend this pub. (Original) Le personnel est très agréable et de bons conseils. J'ai pu déguster des bières locales. L'ambiance est bonne entre les touristes, les travailleurs et les locaux. Les écrans de télévision permettent de voir les différents sports, ambiance garantie les soirs de gros matchs. Important, les enfants sont acceptés et il est possible de manger sur place.
