Fantastic prices, Fantastic food, beautiful outdoor seating (with heat). My wife said they were the best Beans she's ever had. Only negative was the rude people who sat next to us, coughing and blowing their noses. Too many people around London don't seem to realize that there is a global pandemic. So if you go to Turks Head, go early to avoid the covid crowd.

Not the typical pub food. This one has a better quality, more exquisite menu. The entrecôte was really good, especially the side, the potatoes gratin, but what I really loved were the desserts. They were delicious, especially the apple pastry one with pistachio. I loved it 🤤

Fantastic French food in the heart of Wapping! 🇫🇷 Give the entrecôte and gratin dauphinois a try. It’s to die for! The XXL brownie to finish off our meal was also a strong choice. I didn’t really understand the previous reviews criticising the service as we were served really quickly and the waitress was very attentive. The classic French tunes’ playlist was also a nice touch and brought back some nice memories 🎶 Overall we had a great time at The Turk’s Head and being local we will most likely return for drinks or food again! Santé! 🍷

Stopped here for lunch after a business meeting at the nearby studios. Amazing place! Hidden in a beautiful quiet street with nice outdoor space. Stunning rustic interior inside with plants and vintage style finishing. Very amtospheric for both rainy weather and sunny days! I ordered the tuna tartare. It was delicious! Very tasty and loved the addition of the egg. Deffo a great place for a weekend brunch/lunch or a casual dinner. Very good service and tables are also significantly far away from each other. This building also has very interesting history behind it and is a true symbol of community with all profits going straight to support local community. Worth going to if you're in this part of town or a gastro pub fanatic!

Very very good. Loved the service, atmosphere and experience. The food was delicious. I’ve never had a perfectly cooked steak in London ever. Medium rare always comes well done but the Turks Head was perfectly cooked. Didn’t like the apple dessert very much but the staff were really receptive to the positive comments. Had a lovely experience. Will decoy one again.

Really cute little pub. Had been renovated so not very traditional, more elevated feel. French bistro food and nice wine. A bit pricey and service a bit slow but overall a nice ‘date place’ or one to take the parents.

Finally a great French bistrot in Wapping who is closing late My wife and I got the Chicken Supreme and the new Coq Au Vin it was divine , good saint Emillion red wine not cheap but totally worth it. Bravo!

We went at the Turks with some friends for very late drinks , we stayed in the patio as the inside was full , hopefully their heaters did the job and it was perfectly warm , super trendy converted horse box and good music selection , French of course . We will come back for dinner soon as it looks yummy. Love the disco bathrooms !!

Probably one of the best places I've been. It's calm, interesting food and location. Prices are great, staff is relaxed and nice to chat to. I can't pinpoint exactly what it gives its vibe but I think it's the uniqueness of the place.

Unfortunately the welcome wasn't as friendly as the group of 10 had expected. The ladies toilet flush doesn't work, it's very dark and no toilet seat, a shame. The hot chocolate was OK but could have been warmer.

Fantastic breakfast in a very cosy environment at the edge of a park. Friendly service and nicely setup outdoor seating for Covid situation with roof and planting making a nicely enclosed yet open space, overhead heaters keeping you nice and comfy. Croque Madame is simply exceptional!

I had a leaving party at the Turk's head on a Friday night and was overwhelmed by the beautiful set up in the cafe and also the great hospitality provided by the team. From the moment I enquired about wanting to host my leaving dinner at the Turk's Head, Lee and JJ were without a doubt the friendliest people. They were incredibly accommodating for us. Not only did they open the place for us for the evening, but they were also very flexible around the menu, set up and food order requests. The venue felt very special indeed - with a cosy vibe, yummy cocktails and overall great food! My friends loved it there, and couldn't have asked for a better place for a send off! A big thank you to the team at the Turks Head for welcoming us!

Local cafe housed in a tile fronted pub in Wapping. Popped in for breakfast. I tried the vegetarian which was descent, my partner tried the Mexican breakfast which first arrived with chorizo which they quickly rectified and apologised. It was quiet because we were there mid week for brunch. Get the feeling it is popular at weekends. Seemed family friendly with an outside area and near a kids play park. It's worth checking out if you are in the area.

The food is really great, not the sort you find on a pub but more on a proper reustaurant, the tuna tartare was absolutely divine! The selection of beers could have been better but its more of a reustaurant rather than a pub so its fine. Service is also great and the atmosphere is perfect for a rainy autumn night.

There are very few places I like this much! Was training in the local sports hall for the weekend and stumbled on this place on the first day! The staff were so friendly! The food was lovely and pretty cheap for London! The coffees and mochas were luscious! The interior is cosy and the toilets were a surprise! Even have a touch of alcohol if you wished. Top it up with free WiFi! Great place to come!!!

Amazing place! Came here for a meal on Saturday afternoon. Great outside space, lovely food! We had tuna and cod for mains and both dishes were lovely! Fish was very fresh and well prepared! This place was fully renovated last year and it is by far the best choice for food/drinks in Wapping. It is very cozy and has a small garden as well as tables on the park, which makes it ideal for a sunny day. Toilets are very nice and clean and waiters very polite. Finally, the food is exceptional, from cheese board to cod and the very tasty burger. Totally recommend it!

Good for a coffee and cake or delicious wines in beautiful outside surroundings. Plants, and music make you feel embraced and its all very stylish and chic. The food menu is solid, good choices for everyone's palette. Many beautiful looking staff chasing around the tables not one of them working efficiently as your food order takes forever to arrive. My poor friend's order arrived incorrectly, twice, she refused the service charge and I can't say I blamed her. Just a bad day at The Turks?

Excellent service and amazing food! I went with my partner as a birthday meal and they made the service extra special! The whole staff got involved and the personalised birthday brownie was fantastic! I believe the waiter who was extra helpful was either Pavel or Luan who had seen I made a comment on the reservation saying it was for her birthday and helped keep everything a surprise. Amazing place will definitely be returning in the future!

Very nice coffee but what really impressed me was how nice the staff was and how attentive they were as to whether I had a nice experience, even when all I had was a coffee. I'll definitely come back for a meal next time, they looked great. The chef seems to have as much care to cook as the rest of the staff has for their respective jobs. We've been regular vistors to the turks head for a little over a year now, however, I can't help but feel that the transition from a relaxed cafe/terrace/bar serving food towards LTDT restaurant bistro vibe is causing us to fall out of love. All throughout the pandemic I've felt welcomed and comfortable when visiting, recently less so. If being served by Pav or the tall blonde lady, I'm guaranteed to have good positive service, the others, not so much. On our most recent visit we wished to get an alcoholic beverage to takeaway and enjoy in the park, I asked if takeaway was available to be told yes, but I would have to wait 15 minutes for a drink; naturally I swiftly left. I'd much rather be told that takeaway isn't available at the current time due to how busy you are. One final gripe would be the increase in food prices, the turks burger going from £13 to £16 for example. Understandably small independent businesses may have to raise their prices due to the pandemic, but I do feel that a 23% increase is a bit of a stretch. At least the drinks prices remain reasonable! I didn't want to be negative about the turks head, but my recent interactions have rubbed me up the wrong way. It's one of the nicer establishments in Wapping, so I do hope things settle in and the staff receive some better training.

Was amazed to find the cafe absolutely full on a Sunday. The staff were so welcoming and I was able to stash the pram downstairs [lots of room and one flight of stairs].Great selection of food for the little ones and they were happy to make a full english breakfast for me although it was technically not on the menu at that time of day. Loved the home-made hash browns. The Shepherd's Pie was also a huge hit, as was the atmosphere. Love this place!

The cracks start to show with wait times being very long to get ordered and served this added with a higher price adds to the despair however The food does mostly make up for this. Excellent lunch and café. Not sure why some posts mention kids not being welcome as we've been 3 times in the past week and there have always been families and children present. I was there the day when the woman with her stroller came. There were several children there and clearly enjoying themselves. The only issue was that there wasn't more room for a stroller inside the dining room. I think some people just feel the need to complain when they don't get their way.

A surprisingly nice pub. The decor fits the 'feeling' of the pub, the staff were nice and relatively cool, and the food was tasty. It is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The menu is relatively varied, though very limited for Gluten Free options, particularly at breakfast, thus the loss of a star.

Yea Mate!!! Well alright in there now the management has changed. Guy in there goes well out of his way to make sure all is up to scratch and everyone is happy. I have two children, one of which is still in a pram and yes its a tight squeeze sometimes (because it was an old east end pub) but that can't be helped. If its busy then in my eyes that's a great sign of great food and service. Well done guys!!

If it’s busy don’t bother sitting in the garden area as they’ll completely forget that you are there - we have left before after waiting 30 minutes just to be said hello to. When I have been and managed to get served I’ve found the food is ok but portions are quite small. One of the waiters is very good looking which is the saving grace of this cafe to be honest

so much potential, I had an omelette which cost £8.50, it was under seasoned and just plane, my wife had a sandwich which came toasted (which was not described) the sandwich wasn't bad, when she asked for salad she was told extra salad items were 75p each, i said so if i want some onion it will be .75p he said yes.. over priced for the food they deliver. Milkshake was acreage. the setting is amazing i think that's why people come. The service is very slow, almost to the point where i think they slow it down so you order more drinks. Will go back again as its a nice setting, but will not eat.. over priced and tasteless.

I went for the cheapest option on the menu because in my opinion £8 for a fry up is too much. I had a HUGE jacket potato with three toppings for just £3.50. I went for sausage, roasted vegetables and mozzarella. Delicious. Service is great, the decor is superb (make sure you go to the loo) and I will definitely be back.

Great place to start your day, in a very relaxing pub, far away from the tourists' noise. Turks Head is a very nice place for breakfast and coffee, to load your batteries for the day. The people here are very friendly and everybody who enters the door is charged with good vibes. A suggestion for improvement would be the burgers.

Brilliant place, not just a cafe but a central part of the Wapping community. As a matter of duty our team has worked it's way through the menu and has yet to find a duff item. The Club Sandwich is the size of a small planet and probably the best value for money, not many people manage to finish theirs. Full English breakfast's are really yummy and the Italian chefs pasta is unsurprisingly excellent. Oh and they have a bakery downstairs so the cake range is to die for.

If you are looking for a quirky cafe in the Wapping or St Katharine Docks area, I really love this place. It is inside an old pub, which is the reason I went to look at, finding out later that it was in the Morrissey video - We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful. Which is kind of cool. Only stayed for a coffee which was perfect, it was one of those cafes that you would take your family to if they were visiting the area. The food they served seemed nice too, I think the name Turks Head meant they were serving mezze platters which is not a bad thing! I'm not sure if this place would suit all the coffee lovers of the world over, but this is a proper community cafe and I really liked it.

Whenever I am in Wapping and need a place to hole up and work I choose the Turk's Head. Food is acceptable, coffee decent enough, it's a London cafe, you want gourmet go elsewhere. Prices are OK, £8 for a cooked brekky inc. a hot drink, s'about right for that there "Lahn-Dahn". But it's a great place to grab some Wifi, get yer head down, listen to some beats and pound out some work. So it does exactly what you want it to do.
