Just out for an autumn walk at the Canal when I found this pub. So quick stop for a drink or two. Really nice, attentive & friendly staff giving great service. This pub offering cask n keg with some on fridge. They r offering food as well. Lovely bar n clean flood. I must say they have really clean toilets. Atmosphere is so cool. They didn’t disappoint me even worth to visit. Just few steps from the underground so easy accessible. Love the location at the edge of canal for great view. They have plenty of space out there to canal side for beautiful views. Recommend

Really lovely pub. Outdoor seating by the canal. Loads of different styled seating areas! Staff are really fun and funny, especially Georgia! They have a fireplace in one of the cosy areas. I will be going back for the vegan nachos again and to try the vegan burger. I hope they add a vegan dessert soon too! We only went for one drink ended up staying for hours! They have great flower arrangements too!

🚇 Westbourne Park 🍺 £6.25 Ashai ❤️ We head back out west for this one and a trip to The Union Tavern near Westbourne Park Tube. This charming @fullers boozer sits just over a bridge next to the Grand Union Canal. The pub is set out over two floors with a reasonably sized bright and airy bar at street level and a smaller cozy bar downstairs which leads to a canal side terrace. The pub offers cask and craft beers including Fullers stalwart beer London Pride. I had the Ashai lager which is my favourite pint, it’s over six quid but I really enjoy it. The pub wasn’t overly busy inside, but if the weathers nice you’ve got to go and sit outside on the canal terrace which is where most punters were plotted up. Just a side note, I saw couple of fellas with moustaches, nice to see the moustache making a comeback. For all you pub tile lovers, there are beautiful green tiles across the front of the exterior and also some more vintage mustard ones behind the bar. The food here is popular with the punters as there were plenty of plates coming out of the kitchen. . The @uniontavern is a solid boozer which has a good food and beer offering. It’s canal side terrace is a real treat and a great place to hang out. If you’re ever out W9, why not give it a try. . 📊 Information correct on visiting 30/08/21

Lovely pub, the staff are lovely. Nice place to relax with friends while eating and having a drink. We sat near the fire place, so cozy. There is also a downstairs and outside area over looking the canal which would be lovely in summer. I had the burger for a mains with bacon, absolutely scrumptious, with chips on the side (comes with the burger). We had the Xmas pudding, chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding, all of them was divine. All the times I've been there its been lovely ❤

Great local pub with great food and with decent prices. There is an outside bit downstairs, that overlooks the canal. You can book the downstairs room for parties, but be aware that people will walk through this room, as it leads to the outside and there is a toilet there too.

The Union Tavern is excellently located along the canal which gives a wonderful view when enjoying a pint. They have a great selection on draft that regularly rotates and the food is good quality if a little bit pricey (though not bad for London). I highly recommend their Sunday Roast Beef.

One of the few pubs that serve my favourite beer, Frontier! They also make an amazing nut roast. Very tasty and good portion. My boyfriend had chicken roast which he found lovely as well. Nice atmosphere inside. Proper pub.

Although owned by macro brewery Fuller's, they do have a small selection (6-8) I want to say of craft beers. Also enjoyed a fried chicken sandwich which was pretty tasty. Overall a worthwhile visit in a day to going to craft beer pubs.

Easily one of my top 5 favourite pubs in London. The selection of beer is incredible and rotates regularly, I've eaten there multiple times and have always loved the food. Best of all is it's position on the canal you can spend hours sat there enjoying drinks while the boats go by. I've recommended it to just about everyone I know.

Food was delicious. Service was kind & prompt. We were there for Wednesday quiz night (twice). The host of quiz night has a great personality. The second quiz night we did, we won a bottle of wine and a package of starburst! The questions are difficult. On the second quiz night we had 3 posters. I don't know the answers. Not being from London put us at a disadvantage. After the quiz we walked home. Our VRBO was on Woodfield Road. On the street below my bedroom window I saw an urban fox just like the fox in the picture. I had never seen or heard of them until that night, and I read about them on Google. It is a perfect local pub.

Went there to watch the Germany vs Portugal game. As with most pubs I have been too the staff can be quite annoying or it’s over crowded. With this pub that wasn’t the case at all, it was cold downstairs but overall I’m satisfied. I wasn’t bothered or annoyed by the staff not once. They never spoke to me once whilst I was there but that’s initially the kind of service I respect. I don’t know if I would go there again. but from that visit, I would choose this pub over the hero of Maida or Flora Wines anyday

Been there twice, usually to eat, Haddock fish and chips something amazing basically best fish & chips I ever ate in London, and tartar sauce delicious (I roughly eat this sauce because I don't like it, but this one was banging!!!) Nice beers but a bit expensive. Nice view on the river when you sitting outside terrace. Definitely I'll comeback there more often.

This pub has a wonderful canal-side location, a pleasant, naturally-lit bar, offers a good selection of real ales and craft beers at what are reasonable prices for the area and a decently varied menu of what Fuller's considers to be gastropub dishes. The bar staff are exceptionally helpful.

Called in for lunch during a cycle ride with friends along Regent's Canal. We eventually found somewhere safe to lock the bikes to! The staff were really nice and helpful, service of lunch was nice and quick. Good choice of beers - gave me a taste of two I couldn't choose between otherwise, nice. Lunch we enjoyed - I had the pulled pork bun and chips. Both were very good. Recommended - but get somewhere for cycling customers to lock their bikes to please!!

Great pub I regularly go for the Wednesday pub quiz with friends I ordered the chickpea and butternut squash salad which was very very tasty however they only have one vegan thing on their menu and I regularly go to the pub quiz so I can't keep having the same thing. It would be nice if they could add a few more vegan things to their menu as their food is very nice. Or at least give the Vegan option for certain dishes that they have on the menu that way there is more variety and choice

The Union Tavern is one of the best pubs in this part of town. Seated by the lovely canal it's perfect getaway spot during sunny days and warm evenings. It has a great selection of beers(Beavertown ones are standard) and the food is also good. Chilli cheese fries, pastrami sandwich, pulled pork sandwich... All good options. Has a great vibe and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Evening program ranges from quiz nights to live music. All in all, great spot, you'll feel very relaxed and have your time to unwind, whether outside by the canal or inside next to the fireplace on the cold winter days.

The Union Tavern has improved significantly over the last 6 months. They have more bar staff on so you don't have to wait for drinks. The menu has been completely changed and now focuses on delicious smoked meats. Their Sunday roasts are the best I have had in London, but they sell out quick. The beer/ale is still awesome, and the wine list still tiny. Over all it is so much better then, when I reviewed it about 6 months ago. -old review So close, but just misses the mark We have been a couple of times to the Union Tavern over a two month period. The bar service is always slow (sometime 20 minutes at busy times) and the food is hit and miss. Sometimes the good is tasty and speedy, other times it feels like they have just microwaved stuff from the freezer and not done a great job. The venue is nice and sitting by the canal with a cold drink is a real treat. The street level bar / dinning area is nice and cosy, it feels like a comfortable family lounge. The real fire is a lovely touch on cold nights. The beer selection is fantastic easily my favourite out of all of London! However their wine selection is terrible. So I am happy but it doesn't work for my wife. With a touch more effort on the food and some extra bar staff this place could be great.

I love this pub. Funky and shabby chic interior, that is always clean and inviting. A few books and board games are here as well. The selection of drinks are wonderful - some local craft beers and ciders, and a good international selection of wines. The food is great too! In the summer I love their BBQs, and in the winter something a little bit more heavy to keep you warm. The pub is right on the canal, and in the summer a pint on the water is just the ticket. Just up the road from Westbourne Park tube or in the other direction a 5 minute walk down from Harrow Road.

Great location by the river and some quite good beers on tab (some local too), but the food is overpriced for what they serve. My burger was decent, but my wife's goats cheese salad was a joke. A bunch of dry leaves with a slice of low quality chevre blanc on top. Not even roasted slightly, not melted slightly, no dressing, not even olive oil. For £9.75 that is an insult. We will come there again for the location, but will never be ordering their food again, that's for sure. The staff was really nice though.

One of the best pubs in Notting Hill for craft beer. Part of Fullers special pubs focused on craft beer, there is always a fun range of beer on. CB ranges from IPAs & pales by kernel to specials by Northern Monk & sours by Siren or Four Pure. Plus the usual favourites from Fullers & 4 cask ales. Good gastro pub food. Fun nights with live bands & quiz nights. Outdoor area along the canal. A fantastic West london pub.
