🚇 Charing Cross
🍺 £5.70 Guinness
❤️ A super friendly central London pub, serving quality food and drinks.
.
The Theodore Bullfrog is tucked away in a backstreet just a short walk away from Charing Cross station. This pub is a pub of two very different halves. Downstairs the bar area is very bright and airy with a modern feel to it. Upstairs in The Villiers Room, it is a more relaxed seductive affair with floral sofas, it’s dimly lit and has a calming atmosphere. My Son & I sat ourselves upstairs in eager anticipation ahead of the Italy v England Six Nations match. We ordered a couple of pints of the Guinness and tried the Six Nations Sharer which consisted of four sliders and a large bowl of curly fries. The food was really tasty and just what we needed to fill us up in between our pints. The atmosphere started to build just before the rugby started and there was a knowledgeable and passionate crowd in to roar the boys on. The game finished Italy 0 - 33 England which to be fair was not unexpected but a win away from home is always a good result. The one thing that really made our afternoon was the amazing personable service by Sophie, she was so accommodating and made sure that we along with everyone else were well catered for. She was such a people person and the type of person you hope to meet to look after you when you visit a pub.
.
The @theodorebullfrog is solid @youngspubs Pub offering it’s punters a decent selection of food and drinks. Even though the pub is located just off The Strand and the numerous London landmarks close by, it retains a sense of calm and an oasis away from these tourist hot spots. The welcome and service here are first class and the surroundings are smart and comfortable. If you want somewhere to get away from it all in central London, The Theodore Bullfrog awaits.

Super friendly and really helpful staff. A group of 24 friends hot together and they really looked after us.
I've only ever drunk downstairs but the upstairs where they put us was really nice.

A little hidden gem. Didnt know this was here as it is slightly off the main walkway.
This place is amazing, relaxed, friendly and welcoming. The Camden Ale was one of the best I have ever had. The lady serving us, I think her name was Sophie, was super friendly and attentive. She remembered our incredibly large round and provided table service to prevent us having to queue and carry! This customer service is the best I've had in any pub

Had a Xmas meal there. It was nice. Big chunks of meat and all the trimmings. My starter was ok the toast that went with smoked salmon was way too thick and felt a bit stale. But overall good evening spent there

Lovely place with equally lovely staff! We were referred here by two police officers when we asked for a good local (not touristy) spot and it wound up being one of our favorite stops. It's off the beaten path but still close to the action. Good atmosphere and drinks.

Full of character and history. Tucked away next to Charring Cross. Spent a couple of hours there during a wet Saturday warming up with hot mulled wine. Didn't eat but food looked lovely.
Will go again and recommend.

Really busy on a Saturday evening. Difficult to get a table but we did in the end, and really enjoyed the food. A lot of the beers had run out, so had limited choice, but generally enjoyed the evening in there.

After a day running around we came across this pub and stopped for a beer and quick bite to eat. The burgers were so juicy and tasty and the fries were crispy and not soggy. I know it's only a burger and fries but so many places get it wrong, not this place. Thanks

Popped in a for a quick afternoon pint, incredibly attentive and super quick service, all made possible by Sophie.
Would recommend!
