Went here last Monday for Drag Bingo. The staff are so friendly and the food was UNREAL. Good quality and value for money. A fun atmosphere that caters to all. And the Drag Queen was hilarious. Such a fun night. I will definitely be back for this and more events in the future.

Amazing Fish and Chips! We stopped here after visiting the Royal Observatory and we’re so happy we did. Charlie was behind the bar and friendly and funny. We were served quickly and the food was delicious. We went for lunch but would love to come back for a drag show or cabaret performance soon!

I visit here a few month ago. It was Friday night, I fancy a drink and had hear of this place. I love this bar. Mike was really lovely guy. He talk with me, and he introduce me to some of the locals who were very nice. I've been back a lot times since with my partner. It was brillient service, and so warm and friendly man.

I've been a propriator on and off since I worked at the Theater next door aged 21. I love it , it's always changing. It's identity is theater , LGBT , tourist and what ever you like like a Mika Song. Once upon a time it was type place a young girl would right to pub spy over for reserving it's lemmonade for the men's larger tops if you asked for a shandy true stories. Should have forked lifted that wall out like a Banksy all I'm saying.

A very disappointing visit to the newly reopened Rose & Crown - who’s atmosphere has been lost, Green King has refurbished with questionable tables, stain covered stools, uncomfortable benches, and a dire slap dash paint job. Staff are trying their best and are very friendly, but the high volume sounds chased us away. Luckily, the Richard 1st on Royal Hill accommodated us. It’s great to have a gay pub back in Greenwich, but I’m very doubtful that we will be back any time soon.

This is a great community pub in the heart of Greenwich right next to the theatre so it's two in one for me! Great big selection of gins, so could easily spend a while in there, a wide range of beers and ales (though I'm not a big beers drinker) and a traditional pub menu. The best part for me I think was the range of events they put on, there's a SHOWTUNES night a quiz night and drag acts on the weekend so really ticking all my boxes!!

Never fail to disappoint. Lovely pub with roaring log fires all winter long. The food in the restaurant never disappoints and the service is flawless. The glassware is gleaming and the plates are sparking, the napkins are linen and the service is second to none. Always very accommodating when I've been in with company who have gluten free / mushroom allergy / vegetarian preferences. Try their Sunday lunch... it's worth it for the Yorkshire Puddings alone.

Great atmosphere or used to be! Went to the Rose on Thursday evening at about 9:20. It was almost abandoned, 2 people inside, 2 outside. Later 5 people came in. There was a pair of women, one in a wheelchair. They had a drink, but left when the lady in the wheelchair needed to go to the toilet and was told that there was no accessible disabled toilet! Meant to be karaoke, but only two efforts Sad to see the decline of this once great pub.

Nice, local, mixed gay/straight bar with cozy atmosphere. Seems to alternate between being a gay pub or not on an annual basis. At time of writing it has returned to being a gay friendly bar again - though for how long this time is anyone's guess. Adequate, if pedestrian, selection of beers and wines. Busy at weekends.

Not officially a gay bar, but its proximity to Greenwich Theatre means you get a pretty homo-friendly crowd in. The pub grub is extensive and well priced - much better quality and value than the competing Prince of Greenwich on Royal Hill. Despite its small size, it manages to pack an awful lot of seating in. If you're catching a show at the theatre next door, it's also a good alternative to the theatre's own bar (which can be swamped during intervals).

One of the many pubs in Greenwich I can recommend. At the fringe of Greenwich park, you can order reasonably priced drinks and food in this cosy little place. Close to many tourist attractions it has easy access to transportation (bus, train, DLR, ferry). After an afternoon stroll or on a Friday night. Nice little walks in Greenwich always seem to lead here.
