Staff are friendly and a lovely beer garden. The food is not so good. Overcooked, or left too long under heat lamps before served. Staff were very good and took the food off the bill. It's a shame, but other than that a lovely pub!

I haven't been for many years but today went for lunch for my sisters birthday. Unfortunately my 2yr old was suddenly unwell and vomited everywhere. The member of staff that helped was so kind and understanding. She packed up my lunch (which was delicious when I ate it later!) and gave me a bag to pop all the stained clothes in. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. Great pub, wonderful location and more importantly fantastic staff. Thank you for your help and we will be back.

Paid a visit today and had lunch, as heard its under new management and I must say it did not disappoint. When we entered the premises it was extremely clean, staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. What a fabulous pub to go to and will definately be returning , great for families too as grab a drink and sit out the front and the kids can play on the field situated just a step away :-)

On arrival waited 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged, not even a smile. Very busy, very noisy. Good choices on menu. Long wait for food (50 mins). Food was OK. One waitress lovely, another we encountered looked like she would rather be somewhere else. Long wait for the bill. Toilet paper on dining room floor where people had dragged it through. Can't say it was a particularly good experience overall.

16 fed happily on a Sunday! Well, what can I say, what an afternoon! We decided to book a large table for my Mum's birthday and despite being really busy we were very well taken care of, very well fed and a very happy party. In advance we were advised to pre-order our food due to the size of our gang and that was definitely worth doing. Everything arrived on time and was well cooked. Debs our host was organised and attentive even though the pub was very busy indeed. Thank you for a lovely relax afternoon.

One of the better Greene King pubs though a bit more expensive from the other 3 just minutes away. £2 extra for the steak and chips offer to the Greene King pubs just 5 minutes away. Post code area is totally wrong and disrespectful and whatever the pub wants to call themselves like a village pub, family pub, cosy pub or whatever pub is all a bit of a rip off as they ALL serve exactly the same food. 2 adult meals for £13.49 in 3 of their pubs where the meals are £9.00 plus EACH in others only minutes drive away as they dont do the offer. But, The Bull does the pub classic offers so thank you. Check out what pub does the offers before you book. There is no difference in the food on offer though the price can definitely double. Will use again.

For what is effectively a budget restaurant at the Bull Inn Pub Penenden Heath my group of five friends were treated to 5 star service by the staff, Debs, Jade and Ellie and the lunchtime food was excellent. Highly recommended.

Gluten free peeps rejoice... a whole menu to ourselves and the food was great! I had the hunters chicken with a jacket potato and the portion size was fair given they can’t overload with chips (not GF). Was stuffed so couldn’t try dessert but cheesecake is something I would have tried!

Not my home territory. We went to the Bull for a "light lunch". We experienced excellent service & the food was amazing. I had the cheese bacon burger without the bun with Alabama sauce. Truly, one of the best burgers. So freshly cooked, obviously homemade and we'll presented. Thank you Liam. Can't wait to get back there.

This was a rare time I was eating or drinking in a pub as I was driving. However, the choice of drinks from ales to gins were excellent. Staff were all friendly and the venue felt very clean and safe. I will definitely be going back, but I won't be driving!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch here on Sunday. My don and I both had the Chicken tikka masala banquet which was gorgeous, and very filling. The roast dinner my husband ordered was also very tasty. Couldn't manage a desert! We had 4 drinks between us and it came to about £50 for 3 people.

Good atmosphere and enough room for a large gathering of friends. Not good though when you have to go up to order everyone's meal. Had to keep running back to the table to ask different questions. Would think twice about going there to eat with more than 3 people. Food was okay and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

We arrived without booking. Was immediately seen to by friendly staff. It was busy. I had the chickpea curry, it was lukewarm....she forgot the poppadom. The nan bread had not been warmed/cooked. My mother's drink...came from a bottle that was not air tight...no fizz...gone off. Which they did replace. I think the errors were probably due to how busy it was. But still Uncooked nann isn't nice 😟

Bull is and always has been a decent pub. At the moment you queue at till like weatherspoons , they take order, then bring drinks to your table some time later. We should all applaud ALL business's efforts to implement social distancing however feel this system could be fine tuned somewhat. Still welcoming as ever, maintaining what atmosphere can be maintained in these strange times. Not trying to be critical here been in several pubs with different systems none of them what we are used to obviously.

Been here loads of times and it has improved significantly in terms of food waiting time. Food is good and reasonably priced and the pub is big enough to accommodate a lot of people but doesn't have that "warehouse" feel that so many do. Always a cask ale on, if not three if you're in luck. Great for families witn kids but not sure I'd pick it for a quiet beer on my own.

Your usual neighborhood pub. It's very well lit at night. Food and drinks are reasonably priced...mainly usual pub fare with a couple of special items. For me I think the mixed grill dish was the most price for value of you're a meat eater.

Nice outdoor space we could sit in the sun. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our meals wasn't great I sent mine back as was missing cheese. My other half had to send his back and got a refund on his meal as his burger was raw inside and tasted fleashy. Wasn't till we got home we realised they had missed the peas off my little boys meal aswell. So didn't get any of ours correct. Which is a shame as have eaten here before and food has always been alright.

We had drinks, no food. The staff were friendly and proffesional. We were allowed to sit with our dog inside within the bar area - thankful for that. Indoors and out was clean and tidy including the toilets.

It's ok here, the ale was pretty poor though and was a little pricey. It's pretty much standard chain pub fair. Food is standard boil in the bag stuff you'd expect from this sort of pub. Staff were the usual uninspired disinterested student types. The carpet was nice though if you really stare at it for long enough you can trip out a bit and imagine your somewhere mildly more interesting. There is a nice park next door to it so it could be handy for alcoholics who might need to drink whilst supervising their children in the playground (you may need to sneak the drinks out but you can always play it by ear) just remember to be a responsible drunk and don't leave glasses in the play area.

Nice family pub with a decent menus and decent prices. Nice secure garden at the rear with some kiddies slides and a bit of space. Out the front is bearstead green which is good for kids too - they can have a football kick around whilst adults can enjoy a drink just watching.

Well I had not been here for o er 45years but decided to give it a try. We was not disappointed as this place is a real gem. We will be coming here again. The meals are really delicious and the drink options are of an outstanding variety. Gin is big in Enland at the moment and boy do they have a variety guys. The decor is fresh but leaning to a the old world like the 50's as you can see by my pictures. Honestly the staff are well trained and I found them knowledgable and polite. So all I can say now is give it a visit it's right next to the famous Penaden Heath Green where in yesterday's they did the local Hanging but not now so no worries there lol.........

Came for a meal as have been a few times before a while ago , lovely lady served us behind the bar and food came quickly which was great with a little one but the food wasn't good , sausages were so dry little one couldn't eat them , mash was stuck together in one big lump, steak very fatty ( ordered sirloin) and beef in Yorkshire pudding was ok but Yorkshire was very chewy , felt like everything had been cooked previously then microwaved to heat up, was offered replacement for sausages though.

Cant say enough gd things about this pub,was greeted by covid security at the entrance in the form of a beautiful polite and helpful member of staff,upon entering pub was overwhelmed by its beautiful British traditional look and atmosphere,took a table in garden with my work m8 where everyone was friendly with lots of familys there with kids playing happily in the garden park,we met a lovely couple on the table 2 meters away from us and chatted for over an hour,my last credit is to the bar staff I wish I got the name of the young lady who served me last Saturday afternoon,middle aged dark hair lovley smile,made us feel at home and had a gd laugh,my profile pic shows short hair which is now long for those that are trying to remember me to pass on the deserved praise to staff,see u all again soon many thanks

I've visited this pub on two occasions and both times its been good, the bar staff are friendly and approachable. The food is good and the price reflects this, its just good! If you are stuck for somewhere to go then its fine, but if you wanted something a little more special then I'd try somewhere else.
