Reviews of The Wateringbury

Been here a few times now, it’s an amazing pub with really friendly and helpful staff members. The garden outside is a good size and inside is well maintained, clean and spacious. Food is really really good quality for pub food and drinks including beers are reasonably priced too! Love it here, one of the best pubs around this area.

Midweek lunch. Excellent food, prompt service with a smile, sensible prices. Also cool inside on a very hot day. Would recommend and visit again.

First time at The Wateringbury, in fact first time at a Chef and Brewer. I have to say it was very nice, the staff were very pleasant and attentive.
We ordered from the specials menu and the food was excellent, it made a change leaving an affordable restaurant without feeling as though we had eaten from the children's menu.
Very enjoyable.

Best Chef and Brewer restaurant we have been to. Food was fresh and all items on the menu were available unlike our local one. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Just had a lovely meal at The Wateringbury. I come here often and am never disappointed. The staff are always friendly and Darren provided excellent service tonight. My daughter had the vennison pie from the Specials Menu which she thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely return again and again.

We have eaten at The Wateringbury a few times now, so when we won a 2 course meal for 2 here we knew we wouldn't be disappointed! As with previous visits, our food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. It's a great pub/restaurant with a great menu selection (food and drink) and there's always new specials, too. Already looking forward to going back!

Disappointed lunch time visit the kitchen had run out of several items. The restaurant looks tired and in need of a new carpet as you walk through to your table you notice how sad the carpet looks in places its threadbare and patched up with tape. On a positive note the staff are excellent and welcoming.

Great food, great staff, always a warm friendly welcome. Chef and his crew know their onions. Great selection of beers, wines, spirits and ales. Food and sweets top draw. Their new menu rocks... 1000/1000 from me. Deffo the best chef and brewer i've visited... still an awesome place to fine wine and fine dine...
