I was introduced to this place by a friend. Its sneakily tucked away down a side street next to La Vina. When you walk down into Its depths it feels like you've got back in time. Old grand father clocks, leather wingback chairs and everything softly lit . As soon as you step in you are usually greeted my someone who will proffer you a card to scan the QR code to present their menu online. They sell from beer to obviously cocktails which you can search by type of liquor. Also they have even more innovative cocktails in the signature section . Each one will cost you around £10. The quality is very good and strong so you can take your time with them. I would say along with the wordy tale behind each cocktails is provide a clear description of what's in it and if its a long short drink. Service can be little slow sometimes but its great if yoi are in no rush. Also the gent was surprised when I showed him a yelp 10% offer. Alas yelp is not as popular as it once was around here. They were gracious enough to provide a free shot though :)

Proper underground speakeasy a nice quiet place to enjoy a cocktail or a few. Menu is full of so many options no matter your taste. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. We have always loved going and is always on the list to go when were in town.

Friday 3rd May, came here after dinner. The cocktails are BEYOND amazing - but the wait staff and the security staff? You'll never find anyone as amazing and as willing to talk and laugh and connect as anywhere - my only regret is I didn't make the effort to connect to the bartenders as much because im 100% sure they're JUST as fantastic! Fully recommend and if you're out in Manchester DONT miss it - they're wonderful!

Manchester was a thrill. With an electric atmosphere, friendly and passionate community, the city has more to offer than just being the home to one of the world's most beloved football clubs. Standing head and shoulders amongst the hidden gems is Arcane, a must go-to. They have house specialty rotations of your favorite drinks, and somehow make them better. The live dj is sure to get you off your feet at least a couple of times throughout the night and the staff is almost borderline too nice and good. If you're in the area, or just looking for a good time, checkout this place out and SPECIFICALLY ask for Holly. She was the hostess my friends and I were helped by and she made the Arcane experience all the more exciting and amazing.

Lovely cosy underground bar. Very busy on a Saturday night but town was rammed, they had to turn people away at the door. The cocktails were delicious. There is table service or you can order via QR code, staff were attentive and very polite about my drunk friends constantly requesting more wine glasses! The people in there were nice, it felt very laid back, generally good vibes. The music was good too, particularly enjoyed Rockin the Suburbs and Flagpole Sitta back to back. I'd definitely go again!

I've been to quite a few great bars, and this one is possibly the best I've been to. Ben, Sam and Hollie really make you feel at home here, and the cellar decor is amazing and really helps to shut out the cares of the world. It also helps that they make a mean daquiri, and can inform you on even the most obscure of cocktails. If you're looking for a great night, make sure your path crosses through Arcane at some point.

Booked the outdoor seating area for an hour. It was average at best, probably unlucky it was England football day so a couple of tables of people who had been drinking most of the day made the atmosphere a little tense. Didn't go in the actual bar so can't comment on the inside. Ordered using the app from the table which was easy enough. The score would have been lower if it hadn't been for Gary who was looking after the area, good knowledge & service. My wife had two cocktails which were poorly presented, no flair at all, a cherry thrown in, did not look or taste like the price tag. I ordered 2 Moretti (dull I know) but they turned up as un opened small tins. Surely open them & poor them would have not been that big an effort?? Overall a cheap experience apart from the bill. Would try somewhere else next time!!

A hidden gem off the beaten track. It's a cracking bar with good beats and great staff. The bar tenders are polite and knowledgeable about the range of cocktails they offer. If you don't fancy anything off the cocktail menu they will suggest a suitable alternative. Open till 4am on Friday and Saturday.

Visited here after finding on Google maps. This really is a hidden gem of Manchester. Walking in the design and decor is Amazing, stylish and laid back - the same of which can be said about the atmosphere and staff. Never been made to feel so welcome, the owner was serving us and no Cocktail was too much - even going as far as to create one from scratch to our individual taste! Cannot praise this place enough. Absolutely flawless and VERY reasonably priced and excellent, friendly customer service!

This is a very good choice for a cosy cocktail for a couple to enjoy. The selection on offer is very much unique and what you should want in a cocktail specialist. The basement lounge feel of the place should make you want to stay for more than just the one drink. With ample amounts of spirits put into their cocktails, you feel it’s value for money too.

A cocktail bar with an eye for detail. We were recommended Arcane by our waitress at another bar, and it didn't disappoint. The barman was very knowledgeable. I asked him to make me something sweet and he made a fantastic, pear cocktail that wasn't on the menu. The only downside is that it was extremely quiet and so lacked atmosphere, although it was a Sunday.

We wasn't sure what to expect when we started to descend the stairs, we did wonder about turning around and not coming in. When we got downstairs and turned the corner we were wowed by how quaint the place looked. We felt we had walked into someones living room, fireplace and tables and chairs in one room and bar and more tables an chairs in the next. Nice hidden gem.

This is the hidden gem in Manchester. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the bar plays good music and the design of the place is really fitting. They have all sorts of drinks available and they have some of the best cocktails in Manchester. Some of the cocktails are sweet, however other are savoury and are a great twist. If you have a drink in mind that isn't on the menu, the bartenders will make it for you so there is no limit on choice. We have brought tonnes of people here but the place always seems to have spare seats, perhaps because it's off the beaten path. If you get a chance to stop by on a night out, you will not be disappointed.

Really cosy atmosphere and really feels like you've stepped off the street into somewhere special. One of the best pubs to go for friend groups that can't agree on what to drink. Probably one of the only bars you can go to and order a cocktail, pint of cheap lager, glass of wine and a craft beer from the fridge at the same time. And not only that but the cocktails are great.

Arcane is an hidden gem, my favourite place and always bar to go to im manchester, if you want to experience great customer service go to arcane, bar staff always happy, the manager it's just amazing, gave us an industry discount just because we were wearing our white shirts when we went there for a couple of pints after work, really appreciate the gesture and looking out for people from the same industry, been to an arcane many many times and I I've never had a bad experience, the table servise is great as well, glasses collected immediately after we finished our drinks and it was busy at the time, got a jug of cucumber water which was replaced after we finished it, we felt very well treated, honestly never had that in any place that I've ever been to.
