Such a lovely and welcoming place. Stopped by for a quick drink with a friend and ended up trying their Sunday roast which was absolutely delicious. The owners and staff are so down to earth and came to say hello to my dog in their secret beer garden. The indoors and outdoors are decorated wonderfully and the owner told us they are building a space outside specifically for dogs. Absolutely loved it. Would 100% recommend, no wonder they won pub of the year!

Been in a few times previously to play pool but used the beer garden for the first time in the nice weather. It's a lot bigger than I expected and such a nice space. The pub has been under new management in recent months and it really shows, lots of great new additions such as food and the beer garden. Would reccomend this lovely little pub!

The Chaplehouse has recently had new tenants and is very warm and friendly, really enjoyed ourselves as the landlord and lady take the time to chat to you, can't wait until next weekend so we can go back. Brilliant old school pub witn no young idiots👌

Traditional pub, good atmosphere, pool, darts sky TV etc. Holts beer so good and reasonably priced. Nice sheltered outdoor area.

Wow, what a great little gem! Traditional old pub which does not need modern fads to make it popular. Just good beer, great atmosphere with very friendly staff and customers. Pride in serving a perfect pint is top of the agenda.

Nice little pub on Two Trees Lane. Affectionately known as "The Little Chap'". Slightly more expensive than other pubs, that with it being a Robinson's house. Steve and Margaret, Landlord and Lady are a wonderful couple, bar staff are also wonderful. A very local pub, that being only 200-300 yards from my house. A nice big beer garden where you can sit outside in the summer? (Rain permitting?). After all, you are on the outskirts of Manchester, and quite near to The Pennines. So, anyone visiting the area who is not conversant it, I would definitely advise you to bring a brolly! A car park at the front of the pub with room for possibly 6 cars?. Some nice pints of bitter, lager, cider, bottled beer, shorts. So, if you are around this neck of the woods, i. e. Denton, call in for a tincture or two. You'll like the pub, believe me!

Great beer/excellent curry's & all on my door step, what more could one ask for?, just great really & deserves 10 star's, because its just the best there is, can't beat it, what more could one say.
