The happy hour here is worth going for alone. £7 for 2 cocktails. They were worth the money for sure! Nice little bit out the back too

The recent addition of BBQ Oodles to the food offering is a winner for Dulcimer. We took the kids as a late afternoon/early eve treat and it was a a flavour bomb explosion. As we were leaving the night time vibe was building up apace guaranteeing that I'll be back for a bit of that and more noodles as soon as I can.🍜 Great service at the bar🍺

Friendly bar with good beer & wine choices. Cute little beer garden in the back and upstairs is a function room, which is a great size if you're wanting something more intimate and cosy.

Went to an open-mic here, and met some friends. Had a great night. It's thre3 stars because the barmaid was almost useless. We came by car and that means one weak beer for the driver. The actual labelled percentages were almost impossibly small to read, yet it turned out, that one beer was over 6% and another over 11%. Either of these are driving ban material, and the barmaid had no interest in helping us. Good job I'm in my fifties, because I am interested.

Good bar with ace beer, live music and a nice outdoor area out the back. You'll not get a look in at the weekend when this place is often unbelievably busy. Much better to visit during the week. Yellow beer is the best, but it seems to be in short supply at the moment.

Trendy pub in the middle of Cholton. ii am not much for cocktails and the such, but they have some descent concoctions. The live DJ is quite good, and you have access to different music on two floors, and has a nice outdoor smoking area that|s warm. This is a great place if you like to sit and actually chat with a partner or even hang out for drinks with your mates.

Not been in for a while and was meeting friends upstairs. It looks like everywhere was redecorated during lockdown and it looked great. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Good beer list too. Excellent.

Great vibes, unbelievably generous happy hour deals and good indoor and outdoor seating. Basically put the euros on the projector for us personally on more than one occasion now which is another level of customer service. Probably best pub in Chorlton tbh.

Nice bar, apparently dog friendly. The manager is also a nice guy who will let you use the upstairs area for functions etc, very helpful. Beer isn't cheap, but the quality is high and the selection excellent.

I've been a regular here for more than seven years. It's got great atmosphere, beautiful art on the walls and a killer selection of beers. They've had the same wine menu for years and I never very bored of the reds. It's also one of Manchester's coolest music venues.

Excellent service upon arrival! Very warm and welcoming, we were even given a menu as well as an option to pay via cash or card. A rarity in this area! Thumbs up all round!

Gets very crowded a lot of the time and the bouncers act pretty tough, pushy and up themselves; which is pretty funny seeing as they're pushing around feeble chorltoners 😂😂. The black bouncer who usually works the weekend is the worst for it from my experience. Overall it has a nice vibe and, usually, serves good beer. The bar staff seem friendly too. Small outdoor area and the upstairs are nice features.

A great pub and a Chorlton institution. The quiz every Monday is great - very hard at times, but good fun nonetheless. They have a great selection of drinks, including Fentimans soft drinks, German Weizenbier, lagers, ciders and real ales.

It has an interesting beer selection and is one of the venues to host popular quizzes led by the entertaining Richard Barry. Otherwise its music and decor have never really inspired me, the most entertaining feature I found was one of the pub's 'what's on' leaflets hidden inside a book.

The nightlife of Chorton is here! one of the bats which stays open the longest in the village on a weekend and where the crowd will usually be. visited the pub quiz before which was interesting and a good brain scratcher. smoking outdoor area at the back. good range of beers and largers and friendly bar staff too

Dulcimers is a lovely, folky bar with a small garden and a stage upstairs for live acts. I've seen a couple of bands here and they're always pretty good. Withered Hand were playing though and I missed them. Beardy boys, Janice Joplin look-alikes and a wealth of hairy jumpers in the winter. Its a great pub! I used to go to a pub called The Hobbit in Southampton and this place reminds me of a smaller version of it. If this pub was a music act it would be Jimmy Page, not Led Zeppelin....
