Great beer! Vegan and gluten free with some great low ABV options too. Found in some great venues in MCR and beyond.

A brewery in one of the railway arches in Salford that my friend and I had to search for for a while before we eventually found it, however once you know where it is it's actually quite accessible - sort of a place that feels far away from the city but actually isn't. I went for an event with loads of live music and had a great time. The venue can also be hired and I'm sure will see a big rise in popularity within the next year or so. Needless to say, the beer was also excellent.

As a huge fan of First Chop beers, it is only natural that I love this place. The unique set up beneath a railway arch in Salford is home to a spacious bar and more intimate concert venue. This is one of many places making Salford my go to drinking area

Great new bar and venue in Salford. Can be hired out for private functions. I have seen bands here as part of the SFTOC festival and there is a great smoking / bbq area out the back. Looking forward to Swing and Shout clubnight there next weekend with bands using the main space and the sheltered area out the back. Very utilitarian decor with some interesting design bits if you look closely like the DJ booth made out of bits of recycled wood. Another great use of Manchester/Salford's railway arch spaces!!
