I didn't realise Manchester closed so early on a Monday until we arrived here. I enjoyed this joint, the decor was quirky, the clientele bonkers (and loud) and it was just fun!

Had a lovely afternoon drink in here. Our daughters wanted a mocktails and they didn't have any on the menu but the girl behind the bar made two lovely mocktails. Really went out their way to make us feel appreciated and our girls loved it. Will definitely go back here

Quirky decor, decent bar, nice relaxed place. There's a vault bar downstairs. Always a nice crowd in here. Only loses a star for charging so much for lime and soda. It's fizzy water, come on.

Great bar and cafe for a drink and something to eat. The we were there Netflix was filming The Crown in the Northern Quarter and it was dressed up as New York. Flok had a starring role - see photos!

Yes go there. My feelings there.....dirtiness and happiness.....it s not dirty.....just the feeling u are home. Nothing sparkling perfect or posh or fake luxury......it s Manchester.....u ll be happy satisfied settled comfy and excited and relaxed as well. U can sit and eat and drink or to all of this and watch and explore the space and place. Downstairs or upstairs no chance to be bored.....furniture on the walls or fantastic menu on the table.....in the dirtiness and happiness of Manchester.....after meal go out and just walk and watch the walls.....u ll love the Man

A solid Northern Quarter bar. Good selection of draft ales, interesting décor and tasty bar snacks. Not massive amount of seating but does offer outdoor seating for the warmer days.

If you like Sherry you must go here. They have a great selection and it's not expensive. If you don't like Sherry you can have anything else. Food is tapas. But I'd recommend the meat & cheese sharing platters. Delicious.

Flok is a nice little bar located on Stevenson Square only about 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Gardens.has a good range of drinks, however it is a little on the expensive side.the staff are very friendly.the interior is on the small side but there is outdoor seating.i would recommend this place as it has a good atmosphere.

Went with a friend of mine on a tour of the Northern Quarter as he was visiting from down south and we went into Flok. Funky little bar with a nice relaxed atmosphere. The Vermouth on tap was a nice variety and we had to give it a try obviously.. Good beer and a funky place to go.

I really, really love it here. I've got into the habit of going on a Sunday lunchtime when I'm visiting Manchester and I think it's got a really lovely vibe. It seems to be quite quiet on a Sunday, which makes it a great place to have a couple of sherries and read for an hour or so. The decor is pleasingly sombre and old fashioned but it's a lovely bright bar with huge windows, the staff are nice and the tapas-y platters are tasty

I'm actually really starting to like this place. I first went when it had just opened and they served canapes to pull in the crowds. They care a lot about their beer inventory, everytime I go in there is something new and it's a good place to do a bit of work on a laptop. During summer when the sun is out it's a buzzing place full of different characters. Keep it up 👍

Came here for a couple of after-work drinks and it didn't disappoint. The range of drinks is fairly decent . I didn't eat there so can't comment. It's quite cosy inside but much better to sit outside and watch the world speed by. Well located so worth a stop by on a northern quarter drink session or as a meeting place.

The place is a bit small, but has a cosy atmosphere and really nice sofas. It has cool boarding games! The Hawaiian IPA they offer, although pricy, is the best beer I've tried so far. Totally recommend!

A great looking pub, which sells and excellent selection of real ale and other drinks. The bar is really nicely decorated, I especially like the old school benches used as bar area to put your drinks. They sell very very expensive snacks. The toilets are clean and the staff friendly.

What originally opened as a really quirky and interesting space in the Northern quarter has become a staple favourite for locals and tourists alike. Do try the sherry on tap from the bar. And enjoy the huge vault downstairs, near the loo. On a summer day it can be nice to sit outside withb drinks.

Lovely individual bar with very friendly staff. Loved the flok 4 Lager there is plenty choice of drinks all round. There was a nice outdoor seating area next to a local market where there people with very well behaved dogs that attracted alot of attention. I will definitely be back when I'm next in Manchester and I will have to give the food a try as I'm sure it will be as nice a the beer.

Fabulous bar fantastic for your couples staff are really helpful and will look after you you drinks are really nice due to covid-19 we couldn't get a see inside so we had to sit outside to make sure you have your your big coats ready as it was cold when we was there

Great Spanish bar and eatery with the best selection of Sherry anywhere in Manchester. I appreciate this won't appeal to all however the range of draught beer and quality wines is also impressive. Equally as good to grab a quick bite at one of the outside tables on a sunny day, as it is popping in for a warming Pedro Ximénez on a cold evening. The food is quick, tasty and a brilliant fusion of British and Spanish, with all the best bits of both. I love this place.

Spent a lovely couple of hours here (may have been 3 to be honest) this Sunday afternoon, fantastic friendly staff, amazing tapas menu......over ordered to be honest....the pigs cheeks were to die for (apologies to any vegetarians out there) and if you're a fan of a bloody mary as a hangover cure this place is a must, quite possibly the best one I've tasted and the smoky porter on draft was also a fantastic choice. Thanks for making our brief visit to the Northern Quarter such a pleasurable one.

What began as a bank, then latterly as a gift shop. This is a bar with a light Catalan theme - they sell Pintxos (Catalan tapas) along with a large selection of Spanish wines and sherries; even the Vermouth is on handpull. Square, bare-boarded space with high-set booths looking out to Stevenson Square. The smart panelled bar is along wall, while the equally smart food preparation counter is adjacent. All decorated in an eclectic style. Have a look at the former safe in the basement - it is now a gilded room!!

We took 3 that we shared (only one is a bit light). The dishes are tasty, fragrant and delicious. In short, we really enjoyed ourselves! Allow £ 6 per plate for brunch. We got £ 32.80 for 3 brunch tapas, two coffees and two glasses of Rioja. Very good value for money ;) If you are looking for an alternative to English brunch, this is the perfect place! They also offer some vegetarian alternatives. Cool and attentive service. In short, I recommend! O (Original) On cherchait un endroit pour un brunch et on est entrés là par hasard... Bon choix : la deco est cool, les plats encore plus ! Pour le brunch, des assiettes tendances tapas sont servies. On en a pris 3 qu'on s'est partagés (une seule, c'est un peu léger). Les plats sont savoureux, parfumés et délicieux. Bref, on s'est régalés ! Compter 6£ par assiette pour le brunch. On en a eu pour 32,80£ pour 3 tapas de brunch,deux cafés et deux verres de Rioja. Très bon rapport qualité / prix ;) Si vous cherchez une alternative au brunch anglais, c'est le lieu parfait ! Ils proposent aussi quelques alternatives végétariennes. Service cool et attentif.
