Great bar! Something on almost every night, from live music to comedy stand up nights. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, huge selection on drinks so there’s definitely something for everybody. Really decent beer garden as well which is a plus

Found this little hidden gem on our way to watch the women’s Euro final, what a place to be. Although it was quiet the staff made us feel at home, the drinks were great and reasonably priced, especially for a city centre pub!! (recommend the Lion’s berry cider, sweet & refreshing). Lovely pub, great location and that classic Mancunian friendliness - our new local ❤️❤️

Decent little bar with flavoured beer which is a win for me! Lovely to sit outside when the sun is shining and listen to the live local entertainment. The staff are friendly. So, definitely call in if your near by.

A good fun evening as we went to see a colleague doing a stand up comedy act. Young audience. Very basic. Didn’t use the loos so cant comment. Drinks a little expensive. 2x1/2 lager, a pint of larger and pint wainwrights bitter £14.50ish. Cheaper at my local. Entrance free so made up for this but send a bucket around for donations for the acts. Fun evening.

The place is great. A fun place in the Great Northern complex. Live music upstairs for £10. Prices £5 a pint, normal these days. Good lager and cider as usual ales not so good but they do sell bottles.

Fairly good venue. A bit tricky with the drink ordering process during the restrictions, but I expect a much smoother system when these are lifted. Staff are mostly good with only one grumpy boots encountered.

Fantastic night out and there is something on most days of the week live music and comedy nights this is what a great night out should be about and the staff are friendly and approachable I promise you will not be disappointed if you have a night out there also depending on what night your going to be there I would recommend looking online or there Facebook page to see what is happening on the night your going to be there as they definitely have something for everyone and I really cannot remember a better night out with my wife ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍👍👍

Drinks are good so is the live music, we managed to get seats for a large group. It could do with a bar upstairs that was open as well however . Overall worth a visit for certain.

Great pub for a nice pint and for a venue to see a band they have a big room upstairs with a stage .we went to watch a band called cold comforts they were bang on .I truly hope they make it .miles better than some of the bands out there . The staff at the lions den are professional and friendly big up

Nice little bar with a music venue upstairs. Friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. Only downside is accessiblity of toilets. Four flights of stairs down from top floor. Not good for anyone with mobility issues. If that's not a problem for you then I'd recommend the place.

So i just dropped in here on a whim, and ooft what a cool place. Amazing beer selection, plenty of cool wall decor, they played soft classic rock and more, there was a spot to play pool and staff were the loveliest happiest people ever. What more do you need ey? Get your butts here for an amazing good night, like right now!! Can not recommend enough!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
