That was our second experience with Rev de Cuba and first one in Manchester. Lucky us, we had a live music during our Sunday dinner. Lovely tapas and fabulous cocktails. Our waitress also been amazing and very patient in kind of busy environment. We enjoyed our dinner and lovely music. Thank you !

We had a great night here, the food was really nice, we had a mix of Tapas, and some cocktails. If you like rum this is worth a visit as they have a large range of rum cocktails to choose from. The live music really boosted the ambience, and the staff were all very friendly, happy and helpful, I would love to visit again some time soon.

Great cocktails and attractive price during happy hour. Good atmosphere Reason for the 3 stars was the food - I recall great vibrant food at Rev de Cuba but seems to have declined over the last couple years. We ordered a 5-6 of the tapas (small plates). These were mostly average and were of chain restaurant quality. The worst part was that they took over an hour to arrive which isn’t acceptable for finger food whilst considering that there were only 3-4 tables occupied. Can’t imagine how long we’d wait for the food if the place was busy Would return for drinks but give the restaurant a miss

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff and great bar tenders. The bouncers are pretty chilled out, unless you try to wear a hat, I learned that the hard way. Not holding that against them though. I was drunk and they probably told me 4 or 5 times. If they can put up with me then they deserve a good review. So here it is. A good review.

Great music, mix of pop and Latin stuff. Even heard some Bollywood tunes in there which was great! It was super packed on the Saturday, and that was a bit too stuffy for me as the air conditioning was not on. DO NOT BRING YOUR COATS! and be careful of any glass pieces on the floor.

Had a great time last night, loved the live music & dancers, followed by decent tunes afterwards. Obviously crowded, pockets of dancefloor space, so more of a bar than a club with a big floor. My soft drink was average priced& got served quite quickly. Toilets are sweet.

Came here before a show at the opera house. Starters and drinks were absolutely amazing! Service was ok, not the best, we were not told there was any sort of wait and in the end had waited over 1 hour for our food - before a show was not the best stress. Burrito was bland and definitely would not recommend! The rest of it was delicious though, id stick to the tapas and the sides. Live music was refreshing and there was a lovely vibe. Revolución de Cuba Manchester has a lovely interior and a vibrant atmosphere. I visited with a friend for live music and cocktails. They had a fair price offer on multiple cocktails. We really enjoyed our evening, the atmosphere was great.

I live in Switzerland and everytime I visit my family in Manchester I love coming here, really great, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately it loses 2 stars due to a disappointing experience today from the security guard, large black male with glasses. At around 19:30 I popped out of the bar for a smoke and was completely embarrassed and left feeling insulted by this Security Guard who thought it's okay to swear and to insult me just because I spoke to him. I asked him a very simple question and he was angered that I 'interrupted' his conversation with his colleague. Bearing in mind I'd consumed no alcohol, was completely sober and was being really polite as I always try to be. It is completely out of order to talk that way to a regular customer. I'm not at all sure if this business checks these reviews but if they do, they should undertake a review of the way the security guards are behaving, not towards trouble-makers, but towards respectful, loyal customers.

Went on a Saturday afternoon 3 weeks before Christmas. It was busy and couldn't get a table but still had a really good time. Was served quickly and drinks were reasonably priced. There was a live band which added to the festive fun. Just be warned that it can be very noisy!

Really nice place to visit any day of the week. On weekends they have live acts which are really good and entertaining. This is a more upmarket place to visit, with higher quality food and drinks which also means a slightly higher price, but is really worth while for the experience.

Delicious! I came here for lunch. The have great deals with amazing staff. Food was super good and very filling. If I lived here I'd be a regular. Has such a friendly atmosphere and you don't feel rushed at all. You can dine alone or in a group and feel right at home. Shout out to Megi for being am amazing server.

Been coming here since it opened, at least since 2015, been here dozens of times every year. Been to many of the other bars in the chain, all over the country. I have been turned away from the Manchester venue a couple of times over that period too (trainers) but staff and venue, for the price, remain mostly peerless. Theres a bit of a downhill creep going on with the cocktail drinks, in the past 18 months they have gone for a new menu that focuses on quantity of choice over quality. This has resulted in the barstaff using an increasing level of bagged juices to speed up the serving and a removal of the custom porcelain glasses for some of the cocktails. There has also been a removal of the wooden barrells in favour of 'all bar one' style tables near the bar areas. On the plus side the rum menu and overall selection has been vastly improved. My take on it is, if you can't serve a decent set of Mojitos, people will start to go elsewhere, regardless if the menu choice has been increased, there is just too much competition on this part of town in 2022. Please re-consider what has made this place special for so long and what made it quirky in the first place. Going back to using real fruit in some of the drinks (not all) should be a priority and give us back some of the unique serving options, they were fun, people liked them and made a difference to the experience (the teapot for a start).

The queue at the bar really reflected the amount of people too, the bar was 4 deep and took us maybe 15 minutes to get served. It's a shame, as I've been in here before and enjoyed it but on this occasion just didnt feel relaxed.

Rev's is a great place, one of those places that you'll end up going sooner or later on a night out. Whether it's the start of your night or a stop in between, you'll get there eventually. It's pretty nice inside and has a great atmosphere. If you're there for a meal it's mostly just okay; the staff kinda let it down. If you're there for the bar/drinks, you'll have a great time. There's also live music, which can be very hit or miss. They covered songs I actually like and didn't do them badly so I didn't mind, but my colleagues disagreed. Long story short, go to Rev's. You're more than likely to have fun

Visited Rev on the 26th/02 to celebrate my 30th birthday. The girls at Sales were absolutely amazing at helping me secure a table for my 14 guests which I prepaid every thing. The reservation was 8:30 and we were all there on time however we had to until 9pm to get our dinner and drinks. They expected us to inhale a 3 course meal within an hour, hence why most of the food were not eaten and especially the desserts. I had to go complain to the lady at the reception desk so my guests and I could get any service. Good : fantastic staff at the sales department. Great ambiance and music. Bad: Food is not great at all, the £249 pound I paid for the food was not worth it. The food had no taste, 3 cheese burger only had one cheese, couldn’t taste the rum sauce and the beef vieja ropa looked like dog food and my guest refused to eat it see included picture.

Online booking service won't guarantee you that table will be reserved (if there is less than 24 hours for reservation to come through) which means you still need to ring the venue and verbally place the reservation through the call 🤔

Huge thanks to your staff last night - didn’t catch their names (sorry) but happy to send over a description via email if you want to recognise them. They recognised that I was being harassed by a man and immediately resolved it, had him removed, asked me if I was ok and helped me carry my drinks back to my friends. The best night club have been to in Manchester. Was recommended to me the night before by someone at a different club. The place is on 2 levels and quite spacious. Music/DJ is very good and plays unbelievable tunes. It's open till late, until 3AM most days and the crowd is decent. Everybody I met at this place was out there to have fun and was very friendly. Despite the bar area being super busy, the service was quick. I definitely recommend this club to anyone who is looking to have a party night in Manchester.

It's loud, which isn't necessarily an issue depending on your reason for going, but if you want music then the live band and juke box are welcome and atmospheric. If you're going for a meal earlier in the day it's not great, it was so loud we could hardly hear each other. So that comes down to personal taste really. The staff were polite and efficient, but the food was slow to arrive. Fortunately when it did arrive it was great, can't complain about the food at all. Delicious and different to a lot of the places around. Sort of Mexican tapas you could pick from, with some nice mains that were a decent mix of types from burgers to rice dishes. To be fair, staff did try to offer something in apologies for the wait, but it was so loud I wasn't sure what they were saying. I appreciated the offer though. It's a nice place, worth another visit considering the quality of the food, just be prepared for the sound! FYI, was a decent band there too!

A mix of top 40, pop, hip-hop, etc. Drink menu has a nice selection of carribbean influenced beverages. It does get loud here. Spend more than a couple hours here and you will be deaf for a day or two.

It becomes a different animal in the evening, a meat market of epic sleaze proportions. Unwanted and unsolicited touching from strangers, with a brittle atmosphere of aggression. You cant wear trainers in the evening because apparently that is a good measure of character. Free entry though. 3 stars because decent cocktails and the bar staff work so tirelessly and patiently. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and their knowledge of various ad-hoc drink mixes was excellent. We had two large tables/booths reserved at the back of the bar and the atmosphere, layout and general vibe was great. A highlight is definitely the wide range of music played from great all-time R&B to throwback dance classics! We were up dancing around like crazy most of the night! Such a great night, couldn't have been a better place to go on a Saturday night in Manchester. Doorman were really pleasant, music was fantastic, really good dance floor space, and most importantly, an excellent rum cocktail menu! When we got there about 10.30pm there were carnival dressed showgirls, but I missed seeing much of them. Usually in a place like this, there's so much going on that some part of the venue doesn't quite keep up standards, but not here. The bartenders were brilliant, although you might have had to wait a little longer than desired at the bar, it wasn't a fight to get served. Loos were really well kept, wherever I ended up on the dance floor, there were always staff around clearing empty glasses regularly. I was really impressed!

Experience here will greatly depend on the day and time you visit. This place gets busy. After work it can be nice to grab a few drinks and listen to some live music. Eating here is another mixed bag depending on how easily you get a table or are treated by the staff who run around often being rude to customers. Overall the place can sometimes feel unfriendly. I'm happy to risk my enjoyment on a weekday but would never trust this place as the basis of a group outing at a weekend for fear too many people would be disappointed.

On par with Byron, and unlike most the gourmet burger bars in Manchester they aren't a rip off either, they actually come with fries included. Good ones at that too. Live music is also a frequent occurrence here and the atmosphere is great.

Is what it is, it's really popular so expect a hammered bar. Weak cocktails sold at expensive prices but people like them so fair enough. Live band is good when it's on - had food there for Christmas dinner with work - surprised me that the food was really nice esp mass catered. Won't usually come here unless my arm is twisted but there's worse places to drink. Think time may take it's toll and this place and dirty martini may end up similar to slug and lettuces when the hype goes away for them.

As a die hard hater of chains, I really expected to hate this place. I could not have been more wrong! It is fun, unpretentious and offers surprisingly good quality cocktails. You can even get 241 cocktails during their generoud happy hours 5-7pm and all day Sunday and there is live (if cheesy) music. What's not to like!

Best club in Manchester so far I love it, the vibes the music the people, its always great to go there to dance. On Wednesday they have free salsa dance classes and Latin parry after all, gets really busy for a weekend day, the drinks are great, normal club prices, cheapest bear is 4,80 the bottle

Came here Saturday the 18th July. Queuing was quick bit miffed that walk ins went in before pre booked though! Food was nice but the Cuban sandwich and fries was the tiniest potion for the price paid same with the liqueur baileys latte smallest cup ever. The waiter was lovely though credit to the bar. Up the potion size and will be back otherwise would be giving the food a miss in future. Sorry.

Once in, this is a great place for a night out. The decor is well thought through, and the drinks are fun and imaginative... albeit pricey. I love the maracas and straw hats at midnight, while the live band downstairs provides an alternative to other nightclubs. I think there is a food menu for earlier in the evening too. Be warned. . . Get yourselves on the guest list or be there early, as on a weekend, the queues can last over an hour!

Love Revs de Cuba. The staff are always friendly, the cocktails are delicious and the food is fantastic. I always try to visit in the day when it is quieter. In the evenings the place is very busy and loud (popular!) Although the live music they have on is fantastic.

I'm not a huge fan of this place - it has the swish feel of an upmarket chain, and they charge accordingly, but the service is abysmal. Whenever I've been, there's been huge queues at the bar, and long waits for food, even off-peak. It's the kind of place that's full of birthday groups, hen and stag dos, and the bouncers live up the bouncer stereotype - guys have to queue, and women get straight in. And if you've got the wrong shoes, you're not coming in. There are more laid back places that do better, cheaper, cocktails, and much nicer food, although the dance floor downstairs is kind of fun.

Great for a night out whether you start early or stay late. Downstairs club type environment sometimes has live music, Cuban style. Our last time there on a Saturday had a Cuban brass jazz band playing all the hits and classics, instantly recognisable and gives a real party atmosphere.

We had lunch here and found the menu to have little to do with Cuban cuisine, but still enjoyed our meal. The waitress was very friendly and sweet, but as the kitchen staff muddled up our order and gave me chicken (I'm a Veggie) it wasn't exactly a perfect start. We chose to eat here as my husband is Cuban, but it wasn't really my scene personally. I'm sure it would have a more lively atmosphere in the evening though.

Went here after work for a drink with colleagues and decided to stay and have something to eat too. I had the Paella and it was very filling and tasted amazing. Very lively place, they had a live duo playing Cuban music. The cocktails here are fantastic and their flagship drink is the Zombie which you'll probably turn into once you've had 3 or 4 of them! Downstairs is also very lively with a dance floor and bar.

Over priced and lacks real variety of beers. If you enjoy cocktails then this is your kinda place. It gets very busy. The staff are friendly and helpfull, the door staff are some of the best I've come accross in the city centre. The live music isn't true cuban and the band didn't know any of the songs I asked for (22.12.17) but could rattle out the set tunes fairly well. A good place for works parties.
