Very good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and you will be served quickly at the bar. Plenty of tables and chairs available. The price of drinks is quite high but this expensive cost is made up for by the music and lighting in this venue. You will always have a good night at this Revolution.

We had a great time here, being with good people's and all but a couple of things let our experience down. First is not at fault of Revos other than it was dead for a Friday night. Bouncers were still a bit stern on the doors despite how quiet it was. Good to keep to standards I guess. Secondly, we got a table that was short lived as the bar closed half an hour early (because it was so quiet). Wasted a fair amount of drinks. I wouldn't mind checking this place out again on a busier night, I'm sure the vibe is live.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Very professional. Food was delicious…. Had the sharer plate with extra bacon, onion rings and garlic bread. It was so lovely. Robyn was our server and she was super lovely, friendly and nothing was any trouble. Definitely be here again. Love the convenience of table service too. First time here, definitely not my last!

Went here yesterday for my friend's birthday, we did a cocktail class with the lovely Molly. She was so nice and really made our night fun. A really nice location, Revs gets a bit of a bad rep but I bloody love it. I'm a not a little party pants and went for Sunday drinks and a bite to eat. Perfect, sun was out, staff really friendly and having a good time, drinks and food good quality and there was decent tunes on. I had a really good afternoon with friends chilling here and feeling happy.

Our cocktail masterclass was absolutely incredible! Connor was so so so wonderful, I absolutely can’t fault the experience a single bit. I would shout my recommendation from the rooftops if I could. We were taken care of so well, the drinks and games and experience was 1000/10! Incredible!

Had our food there was then told had to move so we went to a booth and was told we needed to be out of that booth by 4pm as it was booked. Had bottomless brunch here, service for drinks was great, prosecco on the table at arrival and we got at least 8 cocktails each, could easily have got more so great value in that respect. Food was your average bottomless brunch, burger and chips, and a disappointingly sized portion too, but tasty none the less. At £27.50 value for money wasn't bad at all.

I have only ever been here for the company Christmas party so I can't give a review of the place as you might see it. I can however say that I have never had a bad night here. The staff are all polite and prompt despite dealing so many drunk people. We always have plenty of activities put on for us and the buffet is always decent. There is a cloak room in case you need to store your coat or bag as there isn't any dedicated parking. On the other hand the tram stop is literally directly above so it is probably best to just get the tram in. Once you decide you want to leave you will be able to get an Uber or taxi very easily.

Myself and some of my work colleagues came here for a night out in Manchester on a Saturday night and it was a really good night, the prices for Manchester City centre were fairly reasonable. There was some entertainment on in the form of some dancers at one point which was good fun, wasn't any trouble with anyone kicking off or anything like that as the place seemed to be well watched over by the bouncers which was nice as we didn't have to worry about idiots as much and could enjoy the night a bit more. Overall it was a great night and will definitely be going there again in the future 👌

Giving 5 stars simply for Jade who presented our cocktail making class! She was BRILLIANT, give the girl a pay rise or employee of the month or something! Our hen party was late there due to a taxi driver taking us to the wrong Revolution! So when we finally got there and we were all a bit flustered, she helped calm us down and get us all settled in without making us feel rushed, she made us feel at ease and chatted to us and we had a fun time making cocktails, the food was nice but its weird timings that they bring it in the middle of the cocktail class so we didn't all get to have a go, maybe they should do food at the end instead so you all get to make a cocktail first. All in all, we had a really good time, thank you.

Good night, but to many people downstairs for me. Bar staff were great, toilets like all clubs were horrible, no cleaning during the night and the other animals who were worse for wear had been sick in every toilet. Just clean your toilets and people would feel comfier using them....

First time at Revs in Manchester got there abit late around 1pm. The upper floor was packed and very hard to get to the bar. The music was amazing banger after banger and my group was loving it. We decided to get some fresh air about 145am and it took us a fair while to battle through the club downstairs to get to the terrace. Once we got back up about 2am the club had emptied and the music was really bad. I got the impression they wanted people to leave so they could close early. Will be going again but earlier in the night

Came for a hen do on Saturday night. All the food was actually really good. Some cocktails were 2 for 1 which was great and they had plenty of drinks to choose from. We then did cocktail making with Lurch who was amazing and made sure we all had fun. Many drinks were provided at the cocktail making. Would definitely recommend. Good atmosphere, great staff. Came for a meal here as part of a hen do. Pre-booked. Was concerned about the table as we sat down as it was set at a jaunty angle very close to the bar at one end. Unfortunately I ended up sat between the bar and the table and it wasn't long before I had someone practically sat on my back as I ate, as they were served at the bar. Staff helped the situation so all good but hopefully they won't set a table like that again. 2-4-1 on cocktails, food is simple but tasty and the mistake to not offer our included drinks was quickly rectified. Food is overpriced, but pretty decent. There drinks menu is similar, though they have some interesting and creative additions to the classic cocktail menu. Their student nights are always extremely busy, but a good time, but the rest of the time is a hit or miss on whether the atmosphere will be any good.

This place is full of soul, fun, great music, great drinks and entertainment. We went for my friends birthday, and we had a fabulous night. The venue is open, plenty of space to put bags on the tables, music was great. It had a team of dancers dancing above the door entrance and around tables that had hired them to dance for birthday celebrations. They were fantastic! The atmosphere is excellent! I lost my keys that night, and in the morning I was panicking because I had my car keys on there too. I Facebooked Revolution at 07.30 and they responded within 15 minutes telling me they hadn't been found yet, but that the cleaning team would keep an eye out. At 11 am I received a message telling me that my keys had been found and that I could pick them up anytime. I took my mum and 2 children for a bit of a drive there, and decided to have a coffee once we got there. The bar tender that served me (I didn't catch his name) was so professional, greeted me with a smile and told me to sit down and he would being my drinks over as I had been through enough. He came over with my drinks and keys. I am forever greatful to this amazing individual. Thank you!

This place is decent on a weekday Thursday night and Saturday night. Good music and lively. Mixture of ages from 18-35+ they do some good offers on drinks in the weekday and no entry fees. Saturday nights are busy and they sometimes charge on entry. Rnb/ Dance is normally what’s on but depending on DJ they will play requests

The food and atmosphere is awesome at revolution. I was invited by yelp to have a 2 course meal. And I have to say I was surprised. I ordered a Caesar salad as a starter and a big burger for main which came with sweet potato fries. They say you get what you pay for. Well you get more than your monies worth here.

We were charged with the Revolution loyalty card (£4) eventhough we haven't asked for it, and it only saved us around 3.40 on the food bill, so that was quite rude. Really cool interior though and very tasty food. A bit on the pricey side (especially for the portions) but that is sort-of expected with Revolution AND Deansgate.

The staff were SO lovely and helpful at our recent work Christmas do. Gave us a good deal and kept our reserved area secured all night. The questionable odour near our area was a bit of a downside.

Situated only 1/2 minutes from Deansgate tram stop and bus/ttain routes going into and coming from the city centre, it is a great location if you are up for a quick drink or a longer visit :) Decor is really a combination of rustic and modern with both a downstairs room and a balcony for social events, of which and staff are always willing to accommodate of course. They also have social events, often complemented with gift cards for free entry on Friday/Saturday evenings, but also free drinks and vouchers to save on meals. Cost is around average for Manchester, around £4.50 for a pint of lager, but the quality of service is always there. Cleanliness is (from what I have seen) pretty good, bathrooms for example are kept in pretty good nick. Definitely worth a visit if/When you are around 😁

But you can always go to any of the places on the same parade if it isn't good so best place to go really.

My friends and I go to revolution for a post weekend catch on Monday lunchtimes. The menu is 50% off which is brilliant value although the food seems to take forever to arrive, we let the waiting staff know we're in a hurry and we usually make back to the office without a moment to spare.

I've only every popped in for a quick drink to start/finish a quiet night of drinks and I've found it to be quiet (in a good way) and a great place for a tasty cocktail or shooter and spirit and mixer. There's seating outside and it's literally below Deansgate Tram Station and across the road from Deansgate Railway Station so perfect for a night out where you don't want to drive.

The only day worth coming here is Industry Tuesday. If you work in the hospitality industry or any with unsociable hours, bring in your pay slip and they've give you a card that gets you 50% off everything (apart from steaks and champagne) Many, many a night has been spent here drinking to excess and running up absurd bar tabs. The staff are friendly and easy-going, tablet service can have it's down problems but on the whole its speedy and trouble free. If the suns out and you're lucky, you can bag a nice spot outside in the baking Manchester sun, before retiring inside for Beyonce and other club hits.

Ehh, it's okay I suppose. If you're already on the canal and nowhere else looks interesting, it might be worth a look in but your mileage may vary. The music is hit or miss so you might find your self getting annoyed with how wildly it swings from something you can dance to, to some rubbish chart "hit"

Revolution is literally the heart of Deansgate locks. Found right in the centre of the arches, its one of the only constant venues in an ever changing canal-side landscape. Their ever so slightly pretentious 'Pout' student night used to draw in the crowds back on a Monday, but the Tuesday night industry nights made it what it is. With a decent half price discount on nearly everything, the £1.80 pints of Stella were too hard to turn down for me. I once walked into a speed dating night being hosted in their downstairs bar, solely for Chinese people. I'd of liked to have given a go but I was lost in translation. Viva la Revolution!
