Very extensive menu yet not one dish labelled vegan. The staff member we spoke to seemed knowledgeable about the menu though (although she did say the arancini are vegan which I very much doubt). She said I can have the veg fajitas and they'll leave out the sour cream. She offered to run to the shops to get some vegan cheese which was very sweet but not necessary. I don't mind not having vegan cheese but the dishes should be clearly labelled. The Thai green curry couldn't be made vegan as apparently there is dairy cream in it. In a Thai green curry?? That's very odd. Fajitas were nice. So to conclude, staff was friendly, food nice but menu needs sorting out as it's confusing.

Saints and Scholars is a cosy relaxed restaurant and bar. There is a good selection of meals and wine available for every taste and pocket. Excellent service from helpful and attentive staff. Saints and Scholars creates a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Outside seating under cover is available while you invite and watch the world go by.

After a long Sunday morning walk with our Dog, we dropped into here for a coffee. Lovely, Lavazza coffee, but most importantly lovely staff. They brought us a dog bowl of fresh water for our dog and also a free sausage for him!! Amazing. The service was exceptional, and 2 coffees were just £5. Great experience all round. We will be back.

Lovely little pub nestled in the middle of Didsbury village. The bar staff are extremely friendly, helpful, just classic small pub vibes. Will definitely be going back. If they do a pub quiz I'm there in a shot.

Slightly disappointing. The food was ok, we ordered a bagel and a pie. They'd burnt the bagel unfortunately and the pie was pretty average - although edible. They don't have a particularly exciting range of beers on tap either, but what they had was fine enough.

I used to really like this place. They used to do a really nice mezze. Going back 4yrs on and it's ok and staff were pleasant but the food tasted a bit cheap almost, like the sauces weren't fresh. I had the 3 small plates for £15; 'potatoes bravas', 'jerk pork with rice and peas' and satay chicken. Good portions but the jerk sauce wasn't very authentic and it came with chickpeas which was unusual.. Staff were accommodating though

I’ve visited and enjoyed this place a few times over the years but was really disappointed when I went for lunch yesterday. I spoke to a waitress when I got there and asked if I should help myself to a table. She said yes but carried on cleaning and I sat for ages waiting for a menu and to be served. I got a glass of wine which was really vinegary so did tell the gentleman who I think was the manager. He brought me a new glass from a fresh bottle to show it hadn’t been open too long but I think it was just really nasty cheap stuff. I’m not fussy with wine but I couldn’t drink it. My panini was really cold in the middle but I was feeling a bit awkward to say anything else & would rather just eat it than be the difficult customer. £16 for panini, chips (which were lovely) and a glass of wine.

This is a quirky, cool venue. Went for Sunday roast at 7.30pm and unlike other pubs they still had some left. The service was quick but unfortunately the vegetables were majorly over cooked and the chicken roast was very small, mainly bone. That said the beef was an OK size but was a bit tough. Will definitely come back but maybe not for Sunday supper.

Great bar in didsbury. Been a while since I was last here and the outside seating area is much improved. The bar inside is much larger than before with more selections on display. Had a coffee here today and it was fast service, polite and good value. Not eaten here yet so that's why only 4 stars, need to try the food before giving a fifth but I have heard great things so can't wait to eat here.

Lovely wee establishment. My partner and I chanced upon it after having walked up and down the Didsbury High street looking for somewhere with out-door seating. The 'gaffer' - a canny gent by the name of Brian - is a diamond geezer with quick wit and a charming air. The food was sublime, and the homemade venison/ale pie cooked by the Danish chef was certainly deserving of a "Skjall". Would very much recommend, and it excels at providing a cosy atmosphere that the rest of Didsbury could aspire to Touché

After driving to my usual cafe to find it was closed I ventured over to Didsbury to find somewhere which was open for some breakfast early on a Sunday morning. This cafe/restaurant is very nice from the outside but the inside doesn't really match the exterior. The interior is full of random things all over the walls which is pretty cool. The breakfasts which we had were both good size and very good value at only £6.50 for a full breakfast. The filter coffee could be better though - especially at nearly £2 for a small cup. the menu for later in the day looked pretty decent and all reasonably priced.

We have been to Saints and Scholars a few times now.. but in the late morning so had a good full English breakfast, cooked with the bacon crispy soft eggs however you like. Also BLT on a baguette.. when you have been served the girls leave you to enjoy.. comfortable and relaxing.. second cup of tea.. lovely.

Very nice pub/restaurant was there for a funeral so can't comment on the normal menu (though it did look good) but the food they served (beef hotpot) was amazing. Staff and owner were very friendly and I love the style of the place will def be visiting again next time I'm in Manchester.

Amazing staff, very friendly and attentive! surprisingly they don’t have a children’s menu? Hence the meals are way to much for a small belly! Also not great for vegetarians - veggi Sunday roast was kinda put together and very very bland! Not a patch on the leadstation (Chorlton) came away feeling nutritionally unsatisfied. Still left a fiver tip for the staff as they were lovely 😊
