Had a lovely evening with my brother his wife and my sister celebrating my brother 65th birthday. They got hooked on these pink looking shots. Was good that they had a selection of alcohol free beers for me as I was driving

I ate here today and went for the roast beef Sunday dinner. My photo really doesn’t do it justice. It was well cooked and very filling. The only thing I’d change is that mash isn’t an option and I would have preferred that to the single boiled potato on my plate! The staff in here are always friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend it.

Such a great place to visit. The manager, Erin, was friendly and interested in her customers. Erin made us feel very welcome and ensured that the service was excellent. Food was so good that I'll definitely plan another visit. A lovely dog friendly venue which I'm very happy to recommend.

Booked a table last minute as a Saturday night treat. Beverley was so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. We watched her visit every table either clearing and cleaning them or checking in with the customers. We ordered the pies which were delicious and the children gave their food a double thumbs up 👍👍 We'll definitely be back. Thanks Beverley 😊

Love this place. Used to come semi-regilarly for the weekly pub quiz (which was on a Wednesday when we last went) which was always great fun. Not a big food selection but good when I've had anything. Had a cheeseboard with a bottle of wine a few times which was always welcome! Staff always very friendly too.

Went today with the missus,our lad and our whippet Harley. Very impressed.Staff were pleasant and helpful. Covid rules carried out with aplomb. Clean and nicely decorated. My lad had his tea in there(sausage and mash with peas and gravy). I salivated over his chocolate fudge cake and ice cream The OH and I shared large nachos,only slur being if they were large,I would hate to see their standard portion! Quite pricey for draught drinks. Nevertheless,we left impressed.

Nice bar, converted from the old post office building. Decent range of beers, wines and cocktails at reasonable price points. The feel of the place is nice and relaxed and there is plenty of room for groups and areas where you can enjoy your own company. I only had a panini, for lunch, but it was nicely done. Evening menu looked good so I will probably return later in the day next time...

Went in for lunch on Sunday. My friend and I are vegetarians, and therefore not fans of the traditional Sunday roast. In fact some pubs only offer this on a Sunday. We had the sharing vegetarian platter, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Would visit again.

A great pub - a real community favourite. Fun quiz nights, lovely staff and a cosy rentable nook. The food is great and the clientele are good people. Plus - best of all - a huge range of top quality gins and expertise on how to serve them.

Nice welcoming staff. Tried the food today. I had blue cheese and broccoli pie and my partner had the chicken and wild mushroom pie both with mash and peas. They were delicious. And they are dog friendly which is a bonus for us.

Its nice in here, lots of space and you can choose to go off to one of the other rooms away from the main bar or sit in amongst it. They seem to have dropped the gluten free beer offering though. Bevano Lounge around the corner has gluten free Daura but service there isn't as good.
