c. t.Nice, old fashioned local. And, believe it or not mobile phones are banned from use inside the pub. Brilliant idea, me thinks... the draft lager is the best tasting lager and pretty cheap too.

I'm a New Zealand farmer who loves a good feed and that is exactly what I got . I normally finish my meals and start on my wife's leftovers but not today.
Friendly staff and lovely beer garden to sit and take in a sunny day. Sweet as.
b. j.Have I not reviewed this place before? Love it. Community pub of dreams and what I think of as an ideal cycling pub. Great beer garden, excellent staff, really hard to leave in any season.
T. H.Been here today for a group lunch after yôga class and loved it. People were nice and warm with us, pricess were fair, best carot and coriando soup ever, amazing roast and we even got cupcakes. The only negative point is that is cash only but as long as you're aware is fine.

A. H.A lovely friendly traditional pub. We found this place on Google. We were looking for a Sunday lunch while staying nearby. We had a fantastic Sunday lunch with soup included in the price. A very substantial amount of food for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

A. H.Brilliant Pub, the serve a wide range of beers and even serve a roast lunch on Sundays. There is a pleasant garde space for when the weather is nice. The also are very aware of vegetarian and vegan needs. Mark and his staff are friendly and it has been voted the best pub for many years. A nice sociable pub.

Limited but quality range of beers, the cider isn't half bad either. Great outdoor space.
