Had a great night here with 3 friends. Delicious food, and great drinks. When we got the bill we thought there had been a mistake as it seemed to low, but no mistakes were made and we couldn't believe the value. Nice atmosphere too, almost like being on holiday, sat in the large back part.

Bit divided about this place. Good for the place, entertainment and 2 for 1 cocktails, when they are on. Went for a meal though, with friends and they took over one half hours to serve us, alot off the meals was lukewarm. Although the hanging kebabs got full marks. To be fair to them, it was very busy tho, and the staff was very pleasant.

Went for Pizza & Prosecco with the girls. Our waiter, Max, was very attentive and did a fab job of keeping us well topped up. The pizzas were delicious and we stayed for the lovely cocktails afterwards. Highly recommended !!!

Felt welcomed as soon as we came in. Came in for some food and 2-4-1 cocktails. Both food and drink were amazing. We particularly enjoyed the flamed rum martini - absolutely delicious! Our kebabs were very yummy and excellent quality. Our waitress Isobel was superb, and couldn't do enough for us. She is lovely and very personable - a credit to this establishment. The decor is amazing and creates an environment which is welcoming and warm. We will definitely be back and will be bringing more of the family; looking forward to trying the poutines whatever they may be?! (sound delicious). 10/10 highly recommend.

First time I have visited, the food was lovely! I had the peri peri chicken kabab the only fault I have that the was a DJ playing when we first got there and it was far too loud for a restaurant. But I will visit again

Fantastic food the best I've had for a Sunday dinner properly cooked no aldanti rubbish the veg was amazing the chicken was moist and tasty the beef was flavourful loads of gravy in agravie boat the Yorkshire pudding you could wear as a hat the whole place was A1 will be going there again

Had my first visit the other day with my friend, and we didn’t know it existed at the time but so glad we found it. we were impressed with everything, price, food, drinks, atmosphere, staff there wasn’t anything we could fault. Our waiter Gabriel was fantastic. Service was friendly and didn’t have to wait long for food and drinks to arrive and the food was cooked perfectly and the taste was great.

Visited for first time last night... Was having a super night until I regrettably had a seizure... Cannot fault the staff enough for the help they gave & the clearly experienced staff in how they dealt with it... Cannot thank them enough!... The place is lovely and the lady that served us really nice, very helpful. The food was good too, just a couple of things that let down the bottomless brunch and that was the service was very slow so in our allocated 90 minutes we only had 3 drinks each, might be enough for some people but on previous bottomless brunches I've been on they have tended be more 'boozier' affairs. The drinks didn't bother me personally as I had my 10 year old grandaughter with me so wouldn't have had any more anyway even if they had been free flowing, which leads me to my second point. My grandaughter is 10 years old so wanted to chose from the normal menu but as she was on our booking she was made to have the 'bottomless brunch' at £35.00 !!! Now I get if it was another adult this could be the case so as to stop people from passing drinks to them , but come on, a 10 year old !!! I would definitely go back but not for the bottomless brunch , wasn't worth the money for our party ...

Brilliant, good size food and there's something for everyone. Came here twice and it has been great both times. I would recommend this place to anyone and one notable thing is the live music. Only 10 minute wait for food and when ordered drinks they came straight away. As you come in there's a lounge and you can get drinks there to. I will visit again.

Our table ordered 4 pizzas , having eaten here before we found the bread dough pretty heavy. My mushroom pizza with an extra topping of onion arrived with pepperoni. So by the time my pizza arrived, the rest of our dining party had almost finished. I had also asked for a topping of olives , only to be informed they did not have olives. All in all pretty disappointing.

We held my Dad's wake here on Monday and I can say that the service that was given was 5*. From the initial meeting discussing menus we felt looked after and we given lots of options, all amazing value for money. On the day the food was outstanding, so many options for everyone and incredible quality. All those attending had nothing but amazing comments about the food. The service from the chef, bar and waiting staff was brilliant. You all made a very hard day for us all so much easier and enjoyable. We will definitely recommend you to others and hold other family functions here.

We came for a friends Birthday, the food was delicious, however the service was slow and I was left waiting for my food when everyone else in the party has theirs. Had a great early dinner with my partner. It was our first time visiting the Cabinet. There is a reason “why” this is the most recommended place to eat and drink in Atherton. Great friendly atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, good food, very good rump (and I’m not a fan of rump), the Thai inspired prawns were amazing and the dipping sauce was so good I poured the rest on my side salad. Great selection of burgers, wood oven baked pizza freshly made to order, good choice of desserts, STRONG cocktails and the list of positives goes on. It gets busy at times so you might wait a bit longer for your drink. Be patient the wait is worth it 😊 Without a doubt this is one of the best local places to visit for some good food and strong drinks . We moved to the area not too long ago and we are glad we finally found a place to go to. They do accept Amex. If you are a member it’s part of the Amex shop local scheme so Amex pays you £5.00 if you spend over £30;

I used to live in Atherton about 14 years ago but moved to North Wales. I came back for a visit and was highly impressed by this pub, it certainly didn't feel like I was back in Atherton, it's a beautiful place. Service on food was pretty poor but it was busy, although having to ask 3 times and to be asked what we'd ordered got quite frustrating, however when the food came is was worth the hastile and it won't stop me going again, lovely place and definately worth a visit.

Very nice bar great atmosphere, only down fall was its by far the most expensive bar in Atherton. All night 4 pints of larger in Atherton were around £10-£12 . The Cabinet was £17 for 4 pints of larger so for this its looses 2 stars 👎
