Called in today 31st Dec to watch Wolves v Man Utd at lunchtime, have a few drinks and grab some food. Never been before but will be back again. An iconic Manchester boozer in a prime location. The Deansgate has a great ambiance and soothing decor since reopening. A lineup of draft beers that would rival the United ‘99 treble winners and a pint that stays fizzy until the final swig, all at a very reasonable price (Amstel for £4.50, yes please). 10/10, will definitely visit again.

Old favourite pub of mine years ago when called The Crown. unrecognizable from back in them days due to a few refurbishments this place still has a warm & welcome atmosphere has it always had. Would definitely recommend a call in for a pint.

Passed this pub on way to pesky blinders bar. Nice pub with friendly staff. It wasn’t busy considering it was a lovely day. We didn’t have food here and we never saw any one eating either so can’t comment on food. The bar itself was clean and nice. Had a nice quite drink before hitting the loud busy bars.

A lovely little pub with a selection of beers and spirits in a great location. It gets very busy on a weekend so hard to find somewhere to sit and there were some guys running around with their trousers round their ankles when we arrived but other than that it was great.

Not sure what to make of this place. On one hand it is a great pub and good atmosphere but on the other hand it is very expensive. On the Saturday we were in it was very busy. They have a decent selection of beers but the selection of spirits leaves a lot to be desired. I will probably only return if I really have to as there's much better pubs nearby

It's a nice pub. Busy and can be hard to get a seat but pumps are clean, bar is crowded with people hanging around but they're dead friendly and generally shift rather than be in the way of ordering a beer. Rooftop terrace is great in summer but a bit small. Staff are friendly and helpful - very cosy place for a beer as long as you don't mind things a little raucous

Great pub, just on the edge of town. 4/5 separate areas and roof terrace. Good arrangement of real ales and nice menu. Popular with office workers and people out for the evening. Used to be called the crown and was a regular haunt of the 80s and 90s Manchester United squad. A true traditional pub that has kept it's soul whilst still moving with the times 👍👍👍

This is a popular pub selling the usual Robinson's drinks. Gets busy at popular times. The drinks are reasonably priced. The place has will maintained traditional decor and a great rooftop outdoor seating area. There is an upstairs bar which can be reserved for private functions.

Great Venue, I arranged my wife's surprise birthday party here on 06-04-2019. From me first booking the room until the morning after the party the staff were excellent, the food was great, the staff were great and well staffed and stocked bar in the room upstairs. I would recommend this venue to anyone, its also in the perfect location. I will be visiting again very soon. my contacts were mainly Michele who i booked with and john who was there on the night, very helpful and friendly.

The should remove or at least lower the £10 minimum spend for cards. Contactless accepted here too. Nice traditional pub feel but has been done up so also nice toilets etc. Crowd on a saturday night can be a bit mixed. Mainly older, some younger, soke rough but not too many. Can get really busy and then dies down again from about half 11. Door staff were a bit off putting - just kinda stared at me and got in my way at the door without speaking...then moved after a few seconds. A girl that arrived an hour later said the same thing. Haven't tried any food or seen the beer garden only been in winter.

Located between the Hilton hotel and the Metrolink line that runs across Deansgate locks. I've never eaten here but I've stopped by a fair few times in winter for a cosy pint. It has a traditional feel outside & in, even down to the old shoe shiner seats at the bar on the right. Not the most comfortable but they've got a good view of the bar and look interesting. Every now and again they have live music in the front bar that adds something to the atmosphere, but if you don't want to listen there is plenty of little nooks and crannies to get a secluded drink in. It also has a nicely furnished roof terrace that looks directly up the beastly Beetham tower. If you are looking for a quick pint around this corner a town, there are plenty of different venues, but give this one a go.

Situated on the road of the same name, the Deansgate pub is not hard to find. Another of Manchester's rejuvenated old pubs with a few nice features really defining it, in an area dominated by one of the more modern buildings in the city. From the wooden staircase you climb to enter the pub, to the shoe polishing pews you can sit at, the pub definitely has character. I've always been pleased to find there's a happy hour going on when I've been in during the week, so you can't go wrong in here!
