G.Great place. Probably the 1st pub I tried and met the landlady right away. She was extremely nice and the place had decent drink prices. Great atmosphere and people. As a American traveler it was a very interesting place to come upon. Only recommendation is maybe add a little security on the busier nights as I seen a few individuals pushing people around but even then the staff handled it accordingly. Highly recommend!

J. H.Lovely pub, great atmosphere. Laura the Landlady/Manager is absolutely brilliant, always goes that extra mile. The lovely bar staff are always ready to greet you with a smile. Drinks are so cheap and there are regular DJs on so you can dance the night away. The beer garden in the summer months is great. Definitely recommend you try it 👌
P. G.Popped in when I was cycle touring along the Rochdale canal. Very friendly local pub with a good pint of Guinness. Sun-trap beer yard with a food shack open from late afternoon - too late for me to try but smelt good when they were setting up. No cask ales currently but I think that's the norm for the area
