Been here a few times now, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. There's a great atmosphere, music and wide range of drinks. Has to be one of my favourite pubs!

Nice pub. Vast selection of drinks. Bar personnel are friendly. Dogs allowed both inside and outside. It's darkly lit inside which is perfect for a secret rendezvous!

Another hidden gem of a bar on the edge of the NQ and Ancoats. Great vibe, good tunes and a really eclectic and friendly crowd. Bar staff were super friendly.

The Rose & Monkey Hotel is just a wonderful place to visit, staff here are so friendly and smiley. Made me and my girlfriend really welcome, the place is spotless and gleaming clean. The outside drinking area is really pleasant like a little oasis, great location and a perfect place to be. I noticed they have live music, I love live music so I might come down and have a look to see what's on! I can't wait to visit here again in the near future. Thanks to The Rose & Monkey for doing such a fantastic job! Great customer service you offer.

I find it SOOO daring when a prospective proprietor of a new venue plumps for a hostelry RIGHT NEXT DOOR to an already renowned and well-established venue like, for example, Manchester's Band On The Wall! Well, The Rose & Monkey Hotel's proprietor did - and to GREAT effect! Renamed, refurbished and fitting in like the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle that completes the whole picture, The Rose and Monkey gets a massive thumbs up (and I don't compliment lightly unless deserved). Nice one you guys. LOVE the chances you've taken and can't praise this place enough.

If you're looking for a friendly, welcoming and very well price pub then you are in for a treat with the Rose and Monkey. The staff are amazing, the music is second to none and the relaxed atmosphere makes for this to be one of... if not the best pubs in Manchester. Not only that but they have great acoustic gigs, pub quizzes hosted by local celebrities and movie nights... What I love about this pub is that they are so on point, when it was Glastonbury they hosted a weekend of Glastontelly, when the football is in they'll play the games and when its Halloween or other holidays they'll host nights that are relevant... I can't reccomend this pub enough... get yourself down there!

(Translated) Last month, our group stayed at the holiday Inn express, so we stopped for a seat and chill. And accidentally passed by and stopped here, but it was a memorable coincidence. Great live music Drinks are not expensive ~ £ 4 but the menu is not crowded. Isn't the staff unsure? Excellent service, very friendly, there is a chance to go back to use the service again. I will remember ...;) (Original) เดือนที่แล้ว กลุ่มเราเข้าพักที่ holiday Inn express เลยแวะหาที่นั่งดื่มชิลๆๆ และบังเอิญเดินผ่าน จึงแวะที่นี้ แต่เป็นความบังเอิญที่น่าจดจำ ดนตรีสดยอดเยี่ยม เครื่องดื่มไม่แพง ~£4 แล้วแต่เมนู สถานที่ไม่แออัด พนักงานหรืิอเปล่าไม่แน่ใจ บริการดีเยี่ยม friendly มากๆ มีโอกาสจะกลับไปใช้บริการอีกแน่นอน I will remember...;)
