I go here at least once a month for the all you can eat breakfast and its always a warm welcome and good value for money. I took the little lad for breakfast with Santa, the breakfast was good but the Santa made it even better. He was a really good Santa best one I've seen this year, will be defo booking it again for next year. If I keep up these breakfasts I think I might apply to be Santa

First time at a tobys for breakfast an it was the best breakfast I've had for a while an its all you can eat for a fiver was worth the travel and whoever thought of putting Yorkshire puds out for breakfast is a genius 👌 1 slight problem nothing major but no black pudding

Good atmosphere, carvery, place was practically full of people enjoying their lunches. Large parking area, ramp to the entrance, wheelchair accessable. Àrea where we say was a step lower than the main area, which could be awkward for wheelchairs. The food was very good, well prepared, staff are helpful and pleasant. Prices reasonable. Well worth the drive. I would happily go again.

As soon as we walked through the door, the customer service was excellent from your regular staff to the manager who greeted us and showed us to our table. When ordering, Matt who was carving the meat was such a friendly person and gave us a proper experience and took his time to put a smile on our faces and a crack afew jokes, as someone who works in the food industry, his customer service was top notch.

Went to the cavery today and Halle was our server, she gave Really good service and the food was all very fresh and hot. Of course we upgraded to the king plate, and piled them high. Drinks service was quick, and we had pudding and coffee. Couldn’t fault it, very relaxed and clean, will defiantly be going back. If your passing worth dropping in for a cheeky mid week roast.

Starters were swiftly prepared and really nice tasting. The carvery was slow, some of the items on the hot plate were cold they had been sat there that long. Ordered a side to go with the carvery that did not turn up until we had nearly finished. Even heard the staff complaining that they were understaffed and the management refused to employ more.

The visit was neutral as the staff were curtious and friendly, till I was made me to feel uneasy when getting carvery as I had a gastric bypass and I asked for a small plate but I got deaply questioned as why and I want a small plate for I was going to pay for adult meal still not a child's meal, but the manager wasnt having none of it, as ime an adult I had to have a large plate.so I obliged but it felt such an awkward situation I felt in my opinion.

Called in after third time lucky finding out that two other Toby's were closed for breakfast. Food was all cooked beautifully, staff were helpful and attentive, all smiling and welcoming. This is a typical car very pub. The car very was OK but the vegetables were soggy. Usual choice of 4 meats. Spacious pub with plenty of seating areas. The breakfasts are quite good value for money. This is a buffet style help yourself to as much as you want.

It's your bog standard carvery. Fair value for money. In my opinion the self service bottomless soft drinks machine is a ticking covid time bomb. Not possible for staff to sanitize it inbetween customers, so is left to individuals to take their own precautions. Aside from that, a pleasant enough experience.

Had our first carvery in months last night. There wasn't a single item on the plate that wasn't cooked to perfection, it was the best Sunday roast me and my partner have ever had!! We will continue to travel 30 miles for their superb food.

Great food and service. Although its changed. You.wear your mask when walking around the building. There is a list of food on your table from the carvery. You tell the waiters/waitress and they go and get it for you. Bit weird but its safe and you still get the same quantity as always and quality is still there

While the staff work hard the tables are often not cleaned quickly and the carvery is a bit overpriced in my opinion. Mitchells and Butlers need to start to take better care of the physical and mental welfare of their hard-working teams and start staffing their premises accordingly.

Very nice place to eat! Ive only been to Toby Carvery once before visiting here and i really disliked it. Thought the food was very bland and never been back. HOWEVER!!! Went to Ainsworth Toby Carvery recently and it was a very different experience indeed! The food was miles nicer and i enjoyed it! The beef was too fatty for my liking but other meats on offer were very nice! Lots of nice sides etc. And i highly recommend going large. Remember, if you struggle to carry your plate in one hand back to the table due to the weight then you have enough food :)

It was ok. Roast potatoes weren't hot in fact they were barely warm which was odd as they were being put out as we were being served. We should have said something but not sure what could have done as they were supposed to be freshly baked. Meat was well cooked. Good choice of vegetables. Sweets were good and you can have a mini sweet and a hot drink for around £4. Only 2 sweets in this option but good value. My brother in law was not impressed he had to pay extra for custard with his mini fruit crumble though☺️. Free top ups on some soft drinks is good value. Wish I'd seen that earlier. Wouldn't rush back but as I said it was ok.

The meats are always cooked to be succulent and tasty at a Toby, its the veg that differs from place to place and the clearness and service. Judging from the queues this is one of the best Carveries. The roast potatoes were fresh, the cauliflower wasn't mushy, the creamed potato was delicious, the carrots were nice, the gravy wasn't tar like it was thin and tasted of beef. It's £9.49 on a Sunday and a pint of Carling is at the bargain price of £3.20. Despite being really busy everyone seemed happy no complaints just empty plates, cleared promptly. Really impressed with this Toby and would recommend without hesitation.

This is my Favourite Toby Carvery, it's not the closest to my home but the short drive is worth it. There are always plenty of staff to help and serve drinks. The food has always been hot and fresh with a good selection of veg to chose from. There are plenty of small and large tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. Bookings for larger group's is easy to do with just a phone call. The Bar is well stocked with a good selection of beers wines and spirits, they also have free refills on soft drinks from the Pepsi free flow dispenser with all the flavours you can add to your drink along with a crushed ice machine. All in all a great Toby carvery.

We drove pass the Toby Carvery (Ainsworth) during the past months on our way to visit our 94yr old aunt in her last leg of her life. Looking from the road outside, its deceptively compact, but its quite spaceous inside. We also find that the compactness is correct in so far the tables are very next to your back while sitting down. The car park at the rear is larger than normal...so deceptiveness is our description. Its.praise worthy.to the staff who bend over backwards to find alternative table in order to accommondate the six of us. with two of us with walking sticks and bad back. After all thats said, we enjoyed our lunch there and were talkactive and stayed longer than usual than other places. We ordered some simple desserts, which is out.of our norm habit. My brother in law, my cousins, my wife...promise that we will back again.. On another happier day.
