We visited for dinner to celebrate my sisters birthday today -there were 5 of us and we were served by Connor. When we ordered food - he went off to cook it for us! I asked for specific requirements and he more than delivered! The steak he cooked was perfectly medium rare! The nachos were crispy and delicious! Everything was perfect - best meal we have had at the Kensington! Well done Connor!

My son and his mate came in here acouple weeks back for a drink and bite to eat and he recommended we go for lunch here. And to be honest he was right it's a nice place friendly staff and the food was lovely too. Shall come here more often

A very beautiful locals pub friendly staff and landlady called jacky the foods amazing games room with pool table and darts live tv sports large beer garden free wi-fi and toilets are nice i went today with my sister and mum and i played 5 games of pool and had 2 diet cokes and had lasagne with chips garlic bread and salad for dinner this pub is amazing such a friendly atmosphere and also went last year before their refit and went today and i would say the decor is really nice and got a very good pool table

I used to enjoy the occasional meal here pre covid, as they always represented good value for money. Yesterday however the quality of the food served was excellent, and the staff incredibly welcoming and helpful even though they (like all of the hospitality sector) were struggling to fill staff vacancies. Just moved in Great Holm and went for a family meal. We were extremely surprised at the top quality of the food, beautifully cooked. The waitress in training was a real dear and super professional, by the book, but friendly. Nice atmosphere, decor and overall, a very positive experience.

Betts is without doubt the best bar person in any pub in Milton Keynes. Always welcoming, very helpful and makes the Kensington a pub you want to go back too. There is also a great selection of beers, ciders and ales. The food is also very good and reasonably priced. Am a fan of the 3 starters for £12.00

Moved to the area recently, New menu is great ( especially the chicken wings) the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. This place is a mix of great food, drinks, and service. This is my new local! Great for football, family or just a chilled drink.

The Kensington hosted a small, COVID-safe post-funeral event for us and did a really excellent job. Mick handled the arrangements really well, and Jade was an excellent bartender and made sure we had everything we needed. Nicola, Conner and Luke were all very helpful and we really appreciate everything the staff did for us in a difficult time.

Nice honest pub, the manager (owner) is a good lough! As expected for a pub, the decor inside is fantastic, we used outdoor seating due to current situation, but, it's a nice local!

So we decided to give the Kensington another shot as it pained me to leave a bad review as we have frequented this place for years. We was greeted at the door in a friendly manner and given anti bac to clean our hands. We were shown to our table and the manager also welcomed us back. We mulled over the menu and although limited due to Covid still some nice dishes on there and a varied selection. Drinks were served promptly with all the right garnishes. We ordered our food and it arrived nice and hot and well presented. Check backs were done and condiments were brought to the table. Portion sizes were spot on and although slightly full we still managed to squeeze in a dessert. Desert options were very limited but dispite this were delightful. Had a double expresso and still buzzing now... Nice and strong. All in all was 100 times better than our last visit and would recommend this venue to eat. We would advise booking and using the app is easy as 1,2,3..... also great to watch football and has a nice beer garden.

It's just about passable. As estate pubs go it could be worse, I've never been stabbed there for instance. If you're looking for good food, keep looking. If you're looking for a good selection of reasonably kept and well priced ales, go to Wetherspoons. If you're looking for a pub that has gents toilets that resemble Aleppo, look no further. Bar staff were present, although not always available. In short, it's not great, but it's handy.

Cosy local pub. Recently refurbished (visit in November 2019), the decor is smart in shades of blue, brown and gold, with lights in metal wire lampshades and new menus. Look out for the coffee and cake offer for £2.99. Unfortunately the cake had run out when I visited with a friend, early on a Thursday evening, so I had a hot chocolate drink instead. My friend had half a lager with lime and said it was ok. Also handily placed outside is the local pharmacy, open until 6.30, and a popular local kebab van.

Just had first pint and a Sunday Roast take away from The Kensington since lock down. Nice cold stella lush Sunday Roast not on main menu yet, but staff did me a takeaway anyway it was really good, What a refreshing change to have a roast for a takeaway instead of the usual burger n chips. Big thank you to staff for helping me out on my first time back in pub won't be last as I it felt a safe place to be in.

First time at Kensington went for a drink and meal after a funeral had booked the table when we arrived we were taken straight to the table waiter took are drinks orders then our meal order didn't wait long for anything.,and the meal we all had was excellent and so was the service. Very nice

Spacious with a few tv's this is one of the nicer pubs in this part of milton keynes. Had a nice meal here and the staff were friendly. There's also a kebab van right outside most nights if you want some grease with your lager.

Since its rebranding, it’s actually pretty good! Food is MUCH better, decor is improved and the atmosphere is pretty good. Edited my review as the Kensington has gone from strength to strength - great atmosphere, 2 pint glasses and the food is both reasonable and decent!! Also, good place to grab a coffee and a catch-up during the day.

Don't let the outside put you off, it's a nice pub with good food at reasonable prices. I would recommend the Yorkshire pudding wraps, they do chicken and beef and they are delicious. There is plenty of parking.

Better over the last few years, transformed into a family pub, some aspects of the pub are missed such as the pool tables at the bottom end of the pub which is now a restaurant seating area, this used to be a very vibrant area with two pool tables, a darts board and a sports viewing area. Kareoke is aweful, has been alot better DJs in the past

5star is for a girl on the bar and served my food she was very polite blood girl Shannon I fink her name was not shore very polite attentative to our needs and so on great girl made it worth wild going out for a meal. But I'm afraid I fink the chef needs some proper training one stake ordered well Dun came rare the over mixed grill sloppy over cooked gammon egg sausages and altho the stake was perfectly cooked rare the meat was off I say this as an expirienced chef they have the ability but need to pick up the standards very much so that also said I fink they may have dun better with an extrapair of hands to help out
