Outstanding food and nice pub. Good value typical greene king food. Only criticism is ordered on app and drinks didn’t arrive. When queried at bar took a long time for staff to find order/sort drinks.

Haven't been for a while but it's recently been done up and it is now nice and bright and clean.. The place is totally different and looks great.. was much needed. The food was awesome and the staff were friendly, polite and attentive. The menu looks really appetising and the triple threat challenge I had didn't fail to amaze.. was so tasty and the steaks were cooked perfect. I will deffo be back xxxxxx

This was my first time going to this pub. It was recently renovated, and you can really tell. The bathrooms are modern, new and sparkling clean. The pub it self has a great atmosphere with a great team to serve your food and drinks. There are multiple screens so you can enjoy your next sporting event from anywhere in the room. The pub also has a pool table, a darts board, claw machine, and many more. In the back there is a massive beer garden to sit the larger crowds. There is also a playground area to keep the little ones entertained while you enjoy your food and drink. And finally. The food has got to be the best aspect of it all. It is not your average pub food, with traditional foods such as fish and chips, burgers etc. the quality is phenomenal. There is a massive selection of food and drinks to choose from so there is something for everyone.

Came to this place as was staying in the area. Food was really nice. But, the service was dreadful. Ordered on the app, which your encouraged to do throughout the posters in the pub. ordered food and drinks. Waited half and hour and no drinks came. But then the food started to come out. Man said the girls are doing the drinks for you now. By the time all the the food came out I went to the bar to see where the drinks was and they literally had no idea about the order. And then by magic they printed a ticket out with the order on. No sorry or nothing. Apart from that enjoyed that food.

A very charming local pub restaurant with excellent food and beverage. You could relax yourself while having your meal in this quiet environment. A good place for gatherings and private parties.

Great mix of characters from all parts of the country. Lesley has a great team supporting her both front of house and in the kitchen, all of whom take pride to ensure people have great experiences. Liz (often mistaken for lesley) has great banter but also makes it her mission that people are well looked after The amount of effort the team put in to changing the pubs decorations to reflect Halloween,xmas,mothers day,jubilee etc is unbelievable. Give it a go as strangers are made to feel welcome and more often than not leave as friends.

Will be my new local. Friendly staff. Can watch football there. Had a cosy feel to the place. Got a little bit louder as the night went on. But still festive and welcoming and comfortable.
