R. H.It was great to see this pub open again and the new friendly manager, only downside is the service is quite slow because it seems the manager is doing about 3 jobs! Hopefully he can employ some more staff soon 👍🏻
L. M.This could be an amazing pub, stunning location and nice sheltered garden with a play area (a rare thing!) It just needs some TLC, fences need mending, bins were overflowing, interior needs an update. Cleaning could be better. Not to make it too fancy as it's a pop in for a drink kind of place, but freshen it up a bit - it seems such a waste!
J. A.Nice dog friendly pub by the canal. Very reasonable prices for food. Had the steak, which was passable but not brilliant. Dirty cutlery and the garden was messy with litter and cigarette ends. Also rather smelly in places we didn't want to sit there for long. Friendly helpful staff.
c. f.Love this pub it’s so inviting and friendly me and my partner come here often whether it’s a quiet drink and meal or drinks with friends. Britney & George especially are great and always so lovely to me and very accommodating to any needs.
R. E.Great pub with a nice relaxed atmosphere, an LGBTQ+ friendly pub. We went for drag bingo with friends and had an amazing night! Coming straight from work we decided to eat here and was really impressed with the food. We had the burger, and I was happily surprised to see that it had been made in house! It was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. The drinks were good and the bar staff friendly and knowledgeable. We hadn't intended on it, but stayed until after last orders. We will be returning again and again.
