n. f.Great welcome from the lady behind the bar it was a late Sunday afternoon and a good selection of beers and lagers the place had a good crowd in too. The place is clean and tidy and I enjoyed all aspects of the pub.
P. M.A quiet pub on the Thursday I was there but that's exactly what I wanted to catch up with mates I'd not seen in years. A decent pulled pint of Guinness and a friendly atmosphere are worth a visit.

B. O. (. C. C.Had a great Sunday lurch here after reading a recent recommendation by the Evening chronicle. Found the staff very friendly and the pub had a nice atmosphere. The food was very tasty with the beef being cooked perfectly, veg had a nice bite, tasty Yorkshires and roasties served with a nice rich gravy. Will return soon.
E. L.We decided to give this a go with the new management. Unfortunately it was not the best. The service was great, we didn't wait long for our meals. There was a good selection of vegetables but the beef was tough and fatty. When we went to get cutlery there was dog hair in the cutlery basket. We were given clean replacements from the kitchen but to be honest it put us off our meals. Hope these issues get sorted out.
C. E. S.Lovely friendly pub, nice atmosphere,not expensive for drinks, nice and relaxing place to go. The bands they have on a Saturday night are brilliant. Can't speak highly enough of the place.
M. H.Best pub I’ve ever been to, staff are lovely and owners are too. Such a lovely atmosphere and place to be. After visiting the ship wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Sunday dinners are amazing and would highly recommend. Overall an amazing environment, you won’t be disappointed
