Ambiance : 4/5 Service: 5/5 Food : 4/5 Location: 4/5 A brilliant place to sit in, If you are some one who likes to sit in a corner and read your book, this place is for you, if you are some one who wants to go out with mates for a pint and good conversation this plasce is for you, if you are some one who wants to take your partner out for some wine this place is for you. The wine selection is decent. I ordered a iced latte, which could have been better. Espresso shot had gone bitter and you could feel that in every sip. The staff and the service was spot on, very polite and professional.

The place is so nice, I love the vibe, the decor, staff were nice, prices reasonable. No complaints! I had the grilled cheese toastie with sweet potato fried and it was *ridiculous* - in a very good way!

Good, but small, cafe bar at the side of the Tyneside cinema. A surprisingly large range of spirits as well as beer, soft and hot drinks. Seating space is pretty tight given the nature of the building. Some outside seating with heaters. A good alternative to pubs and bars in the evening or for a pre cinema drink. Limited food menu with pastries and cakes available. Worth a look.

Five guests and 4 were delighted - the food was amazing. One had a bacon sandwich but the worst she had ever had. Have to admit that they did not charge for the bacon sandwich but it was still disappointing. We will go again as the atmosphere is great, the staff are very friendly and normally (on previous visits) the food is excellent.

Great food but the consistency of quality a bit uneven. The hash browns that comes with the Eggs Benedict used to be lovely and creamy. Last time they were dry and boring. Very nice coffee. Service sometimes a bit slow. The hollandaise sauce should have a note of vinegar and lemon however that is not the case. So unfortunately I can't give you five stars. Great atmosphere.

On a Saturday very busy but buzzy with a good atmosphere. Had very tasty burger and the food others had looked good too. The great extra is you can go straight into the cinema taking a drink or coffee with you.

I had the eggs Benedict with Scottish smoked salmon served on sour dough bread with two delicious cups of Americano coffee. My goodness!Had an awesome steak sandwich and chips after a hospital appointment. Just what I needed! Steak in particular was cooked to perfection.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and very accommodating for myself and my 2 kids. Get there early though, come 10am and it's packed on a Saturday! Would give it 5 stars if their breakfast menu had more of variation.

This is a top spot to visit in Newcastle. Always a good atmosphere. Light airy bar, friendly service, wide range of food on offer. Links to Bar Viccolo on the corner of the building which has French Cafe type ambience and seating in the fairylight lit alley outside and occasionaly offers live 'music in the alley'. Both these cafe/bars, and yet another cafe upstairs, are all part of the famous Tyneside Cinema which offers a wide range of film genres.

This is a great place to go for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime. The food is always of a high standard with very friendly staff. Whilst it is a little expensive, this is due to the nature of its independence and I appreciate that the money is spent on keeping the cinema running which is a pillar of the community.

Good food and drinks, it was nice to be able to go and get a cocktail from the cinema bar and bring it to the table. It has a nice atmosphere but I found it can get very busy and crowded meaning it can be difficult to get the attention of a server to place your order.

This is my favourite place in Newcastle. I love the decor. The chips are second-to-none. And the staff! They're the best. I often work in there, enjoying the ambience of regulars chatting. I like it so much that I'd prefer others not to go there TOO much, and spoil it 😂

It took a long time between sandwich and coffee, and it was cold when I started eating. I let the waitress know and they applied a 10% discount on the bill. Good detail. I recommend visiting it. (Original) Un desayuno muy rico con buen café. El trato fue agradable y atento. El local está decorado con buen gusto y se puede ver cine en su gran pantalla mientras comes. Tardaron mucho tiempo entre sándwich y el café, y este estaba frío cuando comencé a comer. Se lo hice saber a la camarera y nos aplicaron un 10% de descuento en la factura. Buen detalle. Recomiendo visitarlo.

(Translated) They were open on Boxing Day in 2021. The staff was amazingly friendly, being incredibly nice and helpful to any inquiries. The wifi wasn’t available and the heater was quite weak. I went one day after Christmas in 2021. The staff were super nice and friendly. I was so stupid to be exposed to the rain before entering the store that day. I was really moved to meet such a kind staff. The position by the window looks great, the music is rhythmic but the volume is just right, the heating is not warm enough, the table next door is also crying cold and whistling, the toilet is clean and spacious, the heat is good, medium and shallow baking, milk foam is very serious, inside It won’t rebake with bread, it’s a bit sad, but it’s still delicious.
