All those who missed Simon Whitworth tonight missed A Legend in the making. Amazing performance with an outstanding band - together, they brought the place alive. Can’t wait for your next live performance. You simply nailed it !!

First time here but will definitely be going back. Great mix of acts last night in a really cool intimate venue. Staff were friendly, beers ok, and a great location. Get out and support your independent venues people! If you don't use them, you lose them!

This is a really good venue in the way it is laid out. Drinks aren't a rip-off and all of the Staff very friendly and helpful. Saturday night was packed to say goodbye after 3 years of the current line-up with over 50 people coming over from the Mainland. Sadly Sam is leaving as the most brilliant lead guitarist and who is the drummer is joining another Band. Stewart was at his absolute best as was all of the Band, Toby who always has a great smile on his face - so enjoying his playing and Acer who tends to hide in the background - was out front quite a bit of this great final night this year. Stewart, Toby and Acer will be back in the Spring with a new lead guitarist who has already played in a Foo's Tribute band and Stewart says that he very good and all his own equipment. He has got a big VOID to fill in the place of the Amazing 22 years old Sam Willis.

Amazing venue. A dying breed on the Isle of Wight. This place really is the only establishment to quench your thirst for live music. Real talent on offer too, not just cover bands (however, if that's what you're after they do some incredible tribute nights). The bar is on par with local pubs too, with a fine selection of drinks available. If you want a night of great music come to one of the many shows at Strings.

Because it was the best night out I've had in years.. Not just cos I was part of a gig again and doin' the support slot to the Brilliant Apple Beatles but also because of the great feel about th place.. People were up and dancing maskless and it reminded me of those halcyon , long gone , far away days before all this sad madness that we now live in.. The people there made it a great night too.. People like My old friend Derek Farrell who organised the party and people like th owner of the club and my old pal and band member , Ian Davison.. It Was great to see him again.. A very generous chap who gave me free drinks all night aswell... Ha Ha.. Yeah , a great night and a great venue...

Lovely venue went on a 60s night and it was nice to be able to dance without young adults falling about drunk all over the place. Sophisticated and 'grown up' place to drink and dance.

It's a pretty good venue and the drinks aren't too overpriced, they could do with controlling the heat though. I've been a few times and even on small seated events the heat is excessive.

The only drawback is a physical one - the slippery metal steps up to (and down from!) the venue! Otherwise, a great venue for all kinds of music - and all ages!
