Everyone is always so friendly staff and customers alike.

Great selection of drinks and all prices very reasonable.
Every week there's normally a band playing.
Added Bonus of an outside beer garden.
This is a definite stop off place to enjoy a drink or two .
A. M.Quite liked this pub though hardly any customers on a Tuesday lunchtime in January. Tiled floor, pool table, Isle of Wight Festival posters on the wall, Sid Viscous by the gents. Nice fireplace but couldn't really heat the place. Outside seating. Live music on Saturday nights. Pint of Foster's £3.30 which I think is probably the cheapest in town.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. I had three pints of Beachcomber and it was excellent and the atmosphere was very chilled.
When I go back to the Isle of Wight I will definitely be visiting here again.

S. W.Great night's entertainment with the Foo-Fighter-z. The pub was absolutely packed. The staff coped very well and the wait for service at the bar was minimal.
Bar prices were a little bit higher than some other Newport pubs but considering that there was no entry fee charged to see such a great band I didn't mind at all.
Well done all of you at the Crispin. Great night. Definitely worth going for a Pint in there.
It did get pretty warm in there with the number of people inside, but you can go outside at the back, to a covered seating area with plenty of room to cool off.
J. W.This place is just brilliant, day and night. Very friendly locals and welcoming staff, brilliant live music, fab beer garden and choice of ales. Pool table, darts board and jukebox... been there a fair few times now and loved it every time, weather it's been a pint and catch up with a friend, or seen some local bands with the family. Perfect!!

A. P.What a fantastic little pub. Friendly bar staff, Ellie and Julie. Looked after us Welsh boys Saturday and Sunday. A hidden gem.
R. L.If you like a proper pub this is your place in Newport, good selection of real ales and keg beer /larger, a pasty is your meal choice (although they are happy for you to order or bring in a takeaway of your choice) no poncy menu, top notch, no frills but not a dive either.
Frendly staff and reasonable prices.
