Had a really good evening with the office here. Food was very good and service quick. Good welcome from the staff and a very good atmosphere. Ideally located to walk into the centre of town and nearby parking good.

Had a great experience there with organising a private function. They were flexible with menus, and catered for a range of dietary requirements including vegans. The bar staff were friendly and approachable, the drinks prices manageable. The upstairs venue space was great with a dance floor and smaller tables for a lot of people to sit down when/if they needed to. It worked well for young and old alike. We made sure that everyone who entered had proof they had done a lateral flow test before entry so that we reduced risks for those involved which was really successful. Would recommend this venue to others!

Excellent, vibrant, friendly pub in an interesting historic building. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Tends to have a young vibe and the background music could put off those who want a quiet relaxed chat I suppose. Nevertheless, I'm 58 and I love the place! Quite a big pub, with loads of nooks and crannies to hide away in. Good selection of speciality gins and always at least a couple of decent ales on tap. Music and events happen regularly in the upstairs area, but I'm unsure if there are any alternative access arrangements for upstairs if mobility issues exist. Overall, it's a 5 ☆ from me 🙂

Nice pub in Northampton, on-site parking available but if you are driving you will need to register your car registration at the bar. Usual selection of drinks and also has a heated smoking area which has it's benefits during winter. After going here on Saturday night, I was purchasing the same drinks all night but got charged 3 different prices, so that's the reason for the 3 stars.

I guess it suits a younger person. Food - burgers. Good, but at the end of the day it's still only burgers. The usual range of drinks. I'd rate it pretty good at what it does. Better than many but not all that exceptional.

Place was nice looking and the food was OK, but the experience was marred by the one and a half hour wait for food we had to endure. Our starter was brought out at the same time as our mains, and one person in our party had to wait another twenty mins before receiving their own food. A table that arrived after us was served before us. Overall not a great experience

I have been coming to the Charles bradlaugh for the last few years. It's a great place to go for lunch (half price every Tuesday and Thursday) or for an evening meal and they always have new evening entertainment which can be found on their website or newsletter. The staff are always polite and helpful and the service is fast. The food is delicious and always cooked well.

Had a works Christmas lunch there today, the 3 course meal couldn't be faulted and no-one could say they were still hungry. In fact we were given doggy bags to take the additional food away.

Went to see a local band in the upstairs room. Usual range of drinks and facilities. There is parking on site but don’t forget to register your car reg on a screen when you go in at either one of the bars or your evening may end up costing you a lot more than you bargained for!!!!

Decent boozer. Occasionally some interesting live acts upstairs. Not great for real ales but the Lamplighter just up the road caters well for serious beer drinkers. This one has a nice atmosphere with some snug enclaves if you fancy a cozy chat with friends and a good outdoor area.
