G. E.An old place, ideal to enjoy a delicious drink and with a great view towards the canal, you can see the canoes and how they open their floodgates. I would definitely return to this place, the staff is very attentive and the quality is good.
N. C.Small but welcoming Canal Side Pub with outside seating to "Gongoozle" at the boats going through the top lock of the Long Buckby flight. All within a short autumn walk from my winter mooring @WhiltonMarina up the Buckby flight to the top lock and the New Inn. I was invited to join some friends for dinner there and we had an excellent dinner and a couple of drinks.
H. C.Food good, lasagne was huge, food prices ok, our beers a little over the top. Helpful staff, nice atmosphere, all round a great canalside pub. We'll worth stopping off at.
W. C.Great place. Food was really good and staff very helpful. Good selection of real ales on tap and an interior full of atmosphere. We spent a lovely evening there and would not hesitate to go there again if in the area. Also good moorings nearby.
